29 October 2017 - The Importance of Covenant Friends - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - Reverend Col Stringer Sermon Notes OnlineThis year is a Jubilee year. This year is also the 100 years anniversary of the liberation of the walls of Beersheba - The way to Jerusalem was opened. On top of that, it is the 500 years anniversary of the Reformation started by Martin Luther. John 15:12-13 - We live in a selfish society. There will be many acquaintances that come in and out of your life. Only a handful will stay and be true friends. Say: I’m a friend of God, God calls me friend. The Bible says we don’t have friends because we don’t show ourselves friendly. “This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” (John 15:12-13 NKJV) James 2:23 - God is so approachable that He who created the universe wants to be our friend. Before destroying Sodom and Gomorrah, God went down to ask Abraham what he thought about it and to negotiate. “And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God.” (James 2:23 NKJV) Hesed: Grace/ Loyal love - I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hesed is not a word, it’s a lifestyle.

22 October 2017 - We Have Been Forgiven Once and for All - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - Pastor Lawrence Lim Sermon Notes OnlineLove is a fulfilment of the Law. Jesus demonstrated His love for you at the cross. If you’re living life all alone without Christian friends around you, you need to engage the believers around you and make them part of your life. The Christian life is not meant to be lived alone without kingdom friendships. Be planted in your local church by finding a way to serve. Don’t just drift into church on Sundays and then leave without making any connections. We come to church not to endure church, but to enjoy church. Don’t read books or listen to sermons as a work to earn your blessings. Do them to enjoy the Lord. You don’t need to fake it till you make it. When you get the revelation of how much God loves you, your response of love will come naturally. Matthew 6:33 - We have to seek first the truth that we are the righteousness of God in Christ, and then all these things will be added to us. “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33 NKJV) Romans 14:17 - This the definition of the kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. “for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 14:17 NKJV) 15 October 2017 - The Blood of Jesus Marks Us for Blessings - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineThe worst thing for the personification of love is if He cannot express His overflowing love. In Greek, the word for “worship” is “Proscuneo” which literally means come close to kiss. The cross of Jesus did not make God good. God was already good. It’s not right to believe that God is angry and Jesus is good. God’s goodness was hindered, thwarted, held back because of man’s sin. Remember John 3:16 - it was God that sent Jesus into the world to save us. God never gave up on His dream of having a family. When God wanted many sons, He gave us His only begotten Son. Until you can appreciate the extent of God's judgment that Jesus suffered for us on the cross, you cannot appreciate the depths of God’s love. Revelation 20:10-15 - The devil hates it when these verses are read. When the devil is gone, Jesus will rule and there will be no more sickness or disease. As believers, our names are in the Book of Life. Those who do not receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior during their lifetime will be assessed judicially according to their works. None of them will escape judgment. “The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:10-15 NKJV) John 5:24 - A believer can never come into judgement. If any sermons/books/media teach that a believer can be condemned to hell, chuck it aside. Believe in Jesus’ own words! When a believer dies, the spirit is taken out of the body right before the moment of pain, and then he/she becomes more alive than before. ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” (John 5:24 NKJV) The judgment seat of Christ is actually not a place of condemnation or judgment for sin. It should be interpreted as the Bema Seat of Christ, a place where believers receive their rewards and positions in heaven from Jesus. It is where believers receive their eternal rewards and we will already be standing at the Bema Seat of Christ in our glorified bodies after the Rapture. 8 October 2017 - Dare to Live for the Glory of God - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online1200 souls were saved at Holy Spirit Night Conference in Germany where Pastor Prince preached at! It’s important for us to know our Church history: Martin Luther was a German monk of the Augustinian Order. He knew the Hebrew language. He saw that people were putting money into the church coffers to provide relief for their loved ones who were in purgatory - That didn’t seem right to him because they didn’t have to repent, but the money could do the repenting for them. Martin Luther nailed the 95 Theses on the door of the church. People circulated it by print and others labeled him as a heretic and wanted to kill him. There was a bounty on his head. A wealthy person kidnapped Martin Luther and kept him safe in a castle for 10 months. He translated the German Bible while he was there. In 1517, the Reformation started by his books circulated in print, not by him running around ragged. Now our equivalent of nailing an argument on the church door is posting on social media. We should use social media for the glory of Jesus, and not just sit back and let the devil do his thing. 1 October 2017 - Secrets of Youth Renewal: A Tale of Two Old Men - Pastor Lawrence Lim Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineGod’s supply of grace for you is always greater than the situation that you’re in. We can rely on the grace of God everyday to keep us in all our ways. When you believe in Jesus, your sins are forgiven and you remain as the righteousness of God in Him. God is not imputing sin to you today. He does not see your sin, only your righteousness. Christ is your righteousness. In 1967, Jerusalem was taken back by the nation of Israel after the Six Day War. The times of the Gentiles as mentioned by Jesus have been fulfilled and we are about to enter into a new Millenia. We become Christians not to suffer for Jesus but to enjoy His blessings. God swore by Himself (there is no one greater) that He will surely bless us. II Samuel 17:27-29 - The first old man in this sermon is Barzillai. Barzillai was a blessing in David’s time of need. “Now it happened, when David had come to Mahanaim, that Shobi the son of Nahash from Rabbah of the people of Ammon, Machir the son of Ammiel from Lo Debar, and Barzillai the Gileadite from Rogelim, brought beds and basins, earthen vessels and wheat, barley and flour, parched grain and beans, lentils and parched seeds, honey and curds, sheep and cheese of the herd, for David and the people who were with him to eat. For they said, “The people are hungry and weary and thirsty in the wilderness.”” (II Samuel 17:27-29 NKJV) 24 September 2017 - Experience Jubilee in These End Times - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineJubilee is not for the world. The world will get worse and worse. Isaiah 59:21-60:2 - Praying in tongues can only happen under grace. It is a unique gift in the New Covenant of grace. Under the Old Covenant, no one prays in tongues. You cannot pray in tongues and be legalistic. When we pray in tongues, the glory of the Lord will be seen upon us. The Lord will bring your sons and daughters back to you if they have left home. Restoration of family relationships. There will be a wealth transfer (financial provision) in these last days. The Gentiles work to accumulate the wealth and God passes to whoever He sees as righteous in His eyes, which are believers like us. ““As for Me,” says the LORD, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the LORD, “from this time and forevermore.” “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.” The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. “Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; Your sons shall come from afar, And your daughters shall be nursed at your side. Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.” (Isaiah 59:21-60:5 NKJV) 17 September 2017 - Put on the Whole Armor of God to Stand on Victory Ground - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineIf you want to be liberated from the demonic spirit of heaviness, one of the best ways is to worship and praise God. “To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”” (Isaiah 61:3 NKJV) If somebody has wronged you, forgive the person for your own good. You were designed to operate by love, not by hatred or bitterness. Ephesians 6:11-18 - Demons can manifest as spirits of infirmity and cause sickness. The woman who was bent over for 18 years had a spirit of infirmity and she was healed by Jesus. It's not always necessary to call out the demon by name in order to cast it out. We stand because we are on victory ground. We pray from victory, not for victory. A prayer made from desperation will not work. Pray knowing that God loves you. The epistle to the Ephesians is divided into three parts: Wealth (rest, sit), Walk, Warfare (stand). The devil wants to move you from the victory ground, but you must continue to stand on it. All the part of the Armor of God represent doctrinal truths in the Gospel, not of the Old Covenant. These are objective truths, not subjective truths. If you have wrong believing in any area of these, that's where the devil will attack you. Truth (as a belt): To hold your outfit together and to keep your weapons in. Breastplate of Righteousness: Your inward man must be protected by knowing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ. Gospel of Peace (as shoes): You will stand on firm footing when you have the gospel of peace. Shield of Faith: Rely on believing in God for your justification rather than on your own obedience. Helmet of Salvation: This helmet must be received. Verse 18 if translated correctly like in Young's Living Translation should begin with the word "through" (in Greek: "dia"). We receive the helmet of salvation and sword of the spirit by the means of praying in tongues. “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—” (Ephesians 6:11-18 NKJV) 10 September 2017 - Praying in Tongues: The Weapon that Builds You Up - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineSynopsis: Pastor Joseph Prince focused on one benefit of the gift of praying in tongues: it builds us up, especially our body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Keep using this heavenly gift which banishes fear, anxiety, addictions, depression, sickness and more! We are living in increasingly dangerous times, thereby leading us to feel stressed, anxious and worried. We don't know if there will be a world war three before Jesus comes back. But one thing is for sure: we need to know the promises of Psalm 91. There is a place in Christ that we can be protected. Acts 2:1-4 - On the birthday of the church, the first present that God gave them is a prayer language. The Law was also given on the Day of Pentecost and there was fire on Mount Sinai. When the Holy Spirit came, He also came as tongues of fire. When the Law was given, 3000 people died. When the Holy Spirit came, Peter preached and 3000 people were saved. The letter (the Law) kills but the Spirit gives life. “When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” (Acts 2:1-4 NKJV) The Father always loved His Son Jesus. Jesus obeyed the Father perfectly. The book of Isaiah says that it pleased the Father to crush Jesus at the cross because of His great love for us. The Law demands righteousness from man, whereas Grace supplies righteousness to man. Acts 2:11-13 - It's no longer about how bad man is, but about how good God is. It's no longer about the puny works of man, but about the wonderful works of God. When you pray in tongues, you are proclaiming the wonderful works of God and enlarging your spirit. “Cretans and Arabs--we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.”” (Acts 2:11-13 NKJV)
3 September 2017 - MegaFest 2017 ManPower Session - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineAll Scripture is inspired of God, but not every word in Scripture is the Gospel. Exodus 21:1-6 - After God gave the Ten Commandments, He gave a statute about bondservants. The Bondservant refers to our Lord Jesus. Jesus could have returned to Heaven at any time without us, but He chose to stay and die at the cross, in full submission to the will of the Father. Jesus is still the divine servant today. When John saw him in a vision, Jesus was wearing a golden girdle (servants wore a girdle). ““Now these are the judgments which you shall set before them: If you buy a Hebrew servant, he shall serve six years; and in the seventh he shall go out free and pay nothing. If he comes in by himself, he shall go out by himself; if he comes in married, then his wife shall go out with him. If his master has given him a wife, and she has borne him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her master’s, and he shall go out by himself. But if the servant plainly says, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free,’ then his master shall bring him to the judges. He shall also bring him to the door, or to the doorpost, and his master shall pierce his ear with an awl; and he shall serve him forever.” (Exodus 21:1-6 NKJV) After Jesus rose from the dead, He appeared to the two disciples on the Road to Emmaus and expounded to all things concerning Himself. He restrained their eyes from recognizing Him in person because He wanted to give us all an equal opportunity to see Him in the word of God. The disciples said between themselves, "Did not our hearts burn...". A ministry from the Lord will lead to burning hearts. The Greek translation says: Faith comes by hearing and hearing the spoken word of Christ (rhematos Christou). 27 August 2017 - The Truth About Tithing in the New Testament - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineYou don't have to wait for the word of knowledge or gifts of healings to flow in order to be healed. That's not the norm. The norm is to be healed as you read/listen to the word of God on your own. Create that spirit of expectancy in your heart when you're receiving prayer for divine healing. The anointing oil is also a way to be healed. Positive thinking is good but it will not bring you the miracle of God. You need a point of contact with Jesus, like all the ways mentioned above. The priests in the Old Testament were busy, busy, busy and their work was never done. However, Jesus, with one sacrifice, sat down at the right hand of the Father forever. Our Father does not desire burnt offerings like in the Old Covenant - that's just a shadow of the substance. Jesus' finished work at the cross is the substance. All our sins have been forgiven by that one work on the cross. God is not confined in time and space. God looks at our entire life and sees that our sins have been removed. Foundations of Christianity:
When believers die, they feel even more alive and will be perpetually happy. The encumbrance of the flesh is gone. When Jesus died, I died with Him. When Jesus rose from the dead, I rose with Him. When Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father, I sat down with Him. That's true Christianity. |
