27 June 2021 - The Power is in the Seed - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPastor Joseph Prince taught us to take heed of how and what we hear. If we want to prosper in all things, we must hear God’s word with a heart that seeks to understand it. The power to conquer death and corruption is found in the incorruptible seed of God’s word. Praise and Worship Songs Performed: 1. One Thing Remains - Jesus Culture 2. Lavish Love - New Creation Worship 3. Rain Upon My Life - New Creation Worship We are born again of incorruptible seed—the word of God. Matthew 4:4 - It was the very word of God that gave us life in the first place. God formed Adam from the dust of the earth, and He breathed into his body, making him a living soul. “But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4 WEB) 2 Timothy 3:16 - The breath that God gave us life by is what we are meant to live by. Receive God’s word and you will keep receiving this life. Every Scripture is given by the breath of God. “Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness,” (2 Timothy 3:16 WEB) God is not just against sin but He is also against death. Romans 8:2 - We live by a new law of life, not death. “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.” (Romans 8:2 WEB) 1 Corinthians 11:29-30 - When you do not discern the Lord’s body and blood when partaking of the Lord’s Supper, you are subjecting yourself to the law of sin and death that is already out there in the world. The Lord’s Supper is not a formula. Everything in God’s kingdom works by faith. You must receive revelations of God’s word and allow them to saturate your heart, so that when you partake of the Lord’s Supper, it will be effective for you. “For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself, if he doesn’t discern the Lord’s body. For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.” (1 Corinthians 11:29-30 WEB) Proverbs 4:22 - Spending time in God’s word makes your entire body healthy. “Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body.” (Proverbs 4:21-22 WEB) Isaiah 55:9-11 - God’s full wisdom and thoughts are so concentrated that we will not be able to handle the full brunt of it. God is so good that He allows His wisdom to fall gently like snow and rain to us. God’s word about healing will produce healing in your body. ““For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn’t return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do.” (Isaiah 55:9-11 WEB) Isaiah 55:12-13 - Spending time in God’s word makes you joyful and at peace. The cypress tree is what people use as a Christmas tree. The Lord knows that it would become a thing that people do. People will see God’s favor in your life and instead of the curse, you shall experience God’s blessing. “For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace. The mountains and the hills will break out before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields will clap their hands. Instead of the thorn the cypress tree will come up; and instead of the brier the myrtle tree will come up: and it will make a name for Yahweh, for an everlasting sign that will not be cut off.”” (Isaiah 55:12-13 WEB)

22 September 2019 - Eat Your Way to Life and Health - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPraise and Worship Songs performed: 1. Raise a Hallelujah - Bethel Music 2. Who You Say I Am - Hillsong Music 3. My Abba - New Creation Worship 4. You Alone - Don Harris 5. Jesus - Debby Kerner Rettino Pastor Joseph Prince’s new book “Eat Your Way to Life and Health” is not written to sell as many books as possible because it doesn’t appeal to the world. Holy communion is an isolated topic. It is for Christians, and narrowing further, Christians who believe in the healing power of communion. Pastor Prince really wants to get the revelation about holy communion out to believers everywhere. Colossians 1:17 - The world is antichrist—it is against Jesus. The world isn’t antigod. We need to bring Jesus back to the center. Jesus holds all things together. “He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.” (Colossians 1:17 WEB) Psalm 78:24-25 - The words “bread of angels” is not translated well. It should be “food of the mighty” like in Young’s Living Translation. “He rained down manna on them to eat, and gave them food from the sky. Man ate the bread of angels. He sent them food to the full.” (Psalms 78:24-25 WEB) “Food of the mighty hath each eaten, Venison He sent to them to satiety.” (Psalms 78:25 YLT1898) Numbers 11:9 - The manna never fell on the ground—it fell on the dew. Dew is a picture of God’s favor. On Christmas night, the true manna from Heaven descended to earth. Whoever eats of the true living bread from Heaven will never die. Every time you partake of Jesus’ body and blood through the holy communion, you get a fresh infusion of God’s life. If man didn’t sin, man would still be enjoying God’s fellowship and all the pleasures of the Garden of Eden. Man’s fall and death in the world came because of one simple act of eating. We caneat our way out of death and the curse on the world through partaking of holy communion. “When the dew fell on the camp in the night, the manna fell on it.” (Numbers 11:9 WEB) The early church broke bread from house to house. They were not satisfied with just partaking once a day. God’s love language is we receive communion. Jesus said to partake of holy communion in remembrance of Him. If you love Him, you would do it without complaining. Every Sunday, the early church set aside an amount that they could afford as much as the Lord prospered them. We acknowledge Jesus as the source of our provision when we tithe. Manna means “What is it?” The children of Israel didn’t know what the manna meant. It’s actually a picture of Jesus. 15 April 2018 - Once Forgiven Always Forgiven - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlinePraise and Worship songs performed:
The word Gospel means “good news”. It is good news to us because Jesus died on the cross to pay for all our sins. When you know that you’re forgiven of all your sins, it gives you a peace in your spirit that translates to well being in physical and emotion health as well. We will receive a new spiritual body during the Rapture and we will never die. We will meet Jesus in the air and then there will be judgment on earth - the Great Tribulation where the antichrist will rule. Believers will already be in heaven, safe from all judgment. Hebrews 10:1-4 - The sacrifices under the Old Covenant are a picture of the true Sacrifice - Jesus’ death at the cross. The animal sacrifices could only cover Israel’s sins but it wasn’t a true payment for sins. Jesus’ sacrifice took away our sins and is a true payment for our sins. A purified conscience means that a person does not have sin-consciousness and he or she knows that their sins are already totally forgiven. Jesus died as an overpayment to God for our sins. Jesus’ death enriched God - God became a Gainer - He gained more glory from Redemption than from Creation. The Redeemer’s crown is more glorious than the Creatorial crown. The cross is God’s love making payment to God’s justice. God doesn’t want sin on your conscience. When sin is removed from your conscience, it is dethroned from your heart. Right believing will always lead to right living. Having sin consciousness is dishonoring the work of God - it’s acting like Jesus’ sacrifice at the cross is not good enough to pay for your sins. “For the law, having a shadow of the good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these same sacrifices, which they offer continually year by year, make those who approach perfect. For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins. But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats could take away sins.” (Hebrews 10:1-4 NKJV) God gives angels charge over us to watch us in all our ways. The angels are eagerly watching and seeing God’s plan for man unfolding. 20 August 2017 - How to Finally Get Your Long-Awaited Healing - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineThe imagery of shepherd and flock in the Bible promotes healing. When a pastor sees the congregation as the Good Shepherd's flock, they receive healing. The number one imagery of Jesus in the Bible is as a Good Shepherd. Don't find fault with people who fall sick. Even a fit person can get sick. See sick people as children who have fallen into a pit. The priority is to get them out. "Pit" has the idea of an enemy who has set up a trap. Sickness comes because of a spiritual attack. I Peter 2:24-25 - The emphasis is not on the work of healing but on the Person of Jesus - "Who his own self... in his own body..." The Holy Spirit emphasizes the Person because the benefits lie with Jesus. You want to experience the benefits of the finished work? Go to Jesus! When you believe that you are righteous, the promise of "by whose stripes ye were healed" is yours. The word "stripes" here should be translated as "stripe" (the Greek uses the singular tense) because there was not even a sliver of skin left on Jesus' back. When you receive Jesus' skin by faith, you receive His radiance, complexion and healing. “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.” (1 Peter 2:24-25 KJV) 11 June 2017 - Healing Flows When Grace is Exalted - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online
This is a Pastor Joseph Prince sermon preached at The Rock Auditorium back in July 2012. When we go out and spread the gospel, God takes care of us back home. But when we become inward-looking then the amount of worry and stress has no limit. A believer receives health mainly through partaking of the Holy communion. Laying on of hands is primary for healing people who aren't believers yet. Healing is God's dinner bell. A believer should be walking in health. By discerning the Lord's body during communion, you will be more whole, healthy and healed than before. Genesis 20:17-18 - The Law of First Mention when studying the Bible: There is a significant truth that God wants to reveal. The first account of healing in the Bible has got to do with family healing. Their wombs were closed up because Sarah was not in the right place. “So Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants. Then they bore children; for the LORD had closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham’s wife.” (Genesis 20:17-18 NKJV) Isaiah 53:4-5 - Healing is the work of Jesus Christ. In the Hebrew Bible, "griefs" is "kholee" which means diseases. "Sorrows" is "makov" which means pains. “Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:4-5 NKJV) Matthew 8:16-17 - Isaiah 53:4 was quoted by Matthew. This healing is physical healing, not spiritual healing. Before people are saved, their spirits are dead. As believers, our spirits don't need healing. It's our body that needs healing. “When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.”” (Matthew 8:16-17 NKJV) 25 September 2016 - Protection Truths in the Ark of the Covenant (Part 3) - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online
Sometimes when you hear a word in season for you, you may not recognize the need for it at first. Later on, that word will come back when you need it and you will remember it. In such cases, God has gone ahead of you! Jesus moves in life independent of people's opinion. He is not flattered by people, neither is He affected by criticisms towards Him. Only if you are free from caring about people's opinions of you then can you truly serve effectively. Why study the Ark of the Covenant? People who are wise will focus on studying about the Lord Jesus Christ. No matter what your occupation is, your job is to study Jesus! The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed. The New Testament is the Old Testament unveiled. Joseph was a slave but the Bible says that he was a successful man! You can prosper in every area that you have been planted in. Bloom where you are planted. God has planted you where you are at for a reason. Before you were born, you were already an Olympic champion. You beat millions of competitors to be victorious. You are the one that made it! God has made you a champion. Sin is the one that made us losers. God's glory for your mind is tranquility, peace and to be unperturbed. The Ark of the Covenant is the most important piece of furniture of all those in the Tabernacle. God instructed Moses to build the Ark first, and then build outwards. The Ark is the clearest picture of the Lord Jesus Christ. 28 August 2016 - The Way of Escape From Your Trials - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineYou cannot reason your way out of fear. You cannot psyche yourself out of depression. But you can listen your way out of fear by listening to God's word. We are either going into a trial or coming out of a trial. On this side of heaven, there are trials. Because you obey God, people will make fun of you, persecute you, etc. However we should not be suffering what Jesus already suffered for us at the cross - examples are sickness and disease. We will never be able to truly fathom what Jesus did for us at the cross. Religion is about doing our very best. It's something that man creates. Reality is what God makes. Christianity is not a religion - it is a reality and a relationship - God came to die for our sins! The worst sin in God's eyes is man trying to earn his own righteousness. If Jesus didn't come down to earth to die for us, we would never be able to go up to heaven. I Corinthians 10:13 - The word "temptation" in the verse is the Greek word "peirasmos" which means trial/ temptation or solicitation to sin. Faith is the currency of heaven. Sometimes we think too much of faith that it becomes a work. If we look at faith at itself, it becomes a work. The more we focus on God's faithfulness, the faith will be there. God will always make THE way of escape. It is not a way of escape. "The" is a definite article. The word "escape" is the Greek word "ekbasis" which means "the escape". The words "bear it" is the Greek word "hupophero" which means "an undercurrent of a river, carrying one away safely away from danger." “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” (I Corinthians 10:13 NKJV) 30 November 2014 - Overflowing Life And Health—Keys From The Story Of Elisha - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online
Before we become self-righteous, we all have those times where we are low on faith too. Even these great Men of God, Elijah, even David. Then what about us? Moses spent 40 days and 40 nights on Mt Sinai - it took 7 chapters to write about it, whereas Creation is only 1 chapter. God talked with him about His Son in types, figures and shadows, and gave Moses the two tablets of stone (with The Law) only on the last day. God loves to hear about and talk about Jesus. He who has The Son (Jesus), has all other blessings too. Because of the cross, God is righteous in justifying sinners. God's righteousness is satisfied because of His Son. He is so satisfied that He makes us His sons! The way to teach the Bible is to unveil Jesus in the Scriptures. Why were Cleopas and the other disciple prevented from recognising Jesus in person on the Road to Emmaus? Why didn't Jesus just show them the marks in His hands and feet to make them believe? Revelation given to Pastor Joseph Prince: It's more important for us to see Jesus in the Scriptures than to see Jesus in person while alive, so that all generations would have the equal chance to see Jesus in the Word. Elijah and Elisha appeared during the most corrupt period in Israel, during the reign of King Ahab who married the witch, Jezebel. There is a succession to priests and kings, but not for prophets. God can raise a prophet from anywhere. The only instance of prophetic succession is Elijah to Elisha. Elijah (His name means "My God saves") reminds us of John the Baptist whereas Elisha reminds us of Jesus. Elijah's miracles are miracles of judgement whereas Elisha's miracles are miracles of grace. Elijah's first miracle was to prevent rain in Israel. Elisha moved among the common folk and was easily accessible. Elijah dressed roughly and differently. Luke 1:17 - John the Baptist comes in the spirit of Elijah. "He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”" (Luke 1:17 NKJV) Elijah's ministry was cut short. One of the most famous incidents regarding Elijah is when he confronted the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. The prophets of Baal were cutting themselves - God will never ask you to mutilate yourself. God heals. Elijah put twelve stones together representing the twelve tribes of Israel. God's fire descended from heaven consumed the sacrifice and even all the water surrounding it was gone. Under the Law, the judgement is greater than the sacrifice. Under grace, the sacrifice (Jesus) is greater than the judgement. At the cross, Jesus consumed all the judgement of God and was still alive. Luke 7:33-34 - Legalism cannot be satisfied. They will either say you're too strict or too licentious. They said that John was to severe and Jesus too indulgent. The words that they used as an accusation towards Jesus becomes a wonderful accolade for us today. Jesus is our friend (we were all sinners before receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior). Jesus is a ready, gracious friend. He always meets our needs. "For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’" (Luke 7:33-34 NKJV) We would have thought that after the confrontation at Mount Carmel where the Lord proved that He is the true God, Israel would have turned back to the Lord, but they did not. Elijah was greatly discouraged. There's nothing more crushing than failure in ministry. When Jezebel heard that Elijah killed the prophets of Baal, she swore to kill him, and Elijah in fear, ran away to escape from her. When you take your eyes off Jesus, things become bleak. Keep your eyes on Him! Elijah threw himself under a juniper tree and told the Lord, "Let me die!" If he really wanted to die, he could have waited for Jezebel to come and kill him. When we take our eyes off God, we become a walking contradiction. We should make small our problems, and make God big! Instead of answering Elijah's prayer, God put him to sleep. Aren't we glad that God doesn't answer all our prayers? He sees our needs and supplies us with what we lack. God sent an angel and prepared food and drink for Elijah, and after eating, Elijah went back to sleep again. After Elijah woke up again, the angel fed him again. Jesus is the only Food that nourishes us. Spend time to feed on Him through reading the Word.
