10 July 2022 - How Supply Comes Under Grace - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how God wants us to enjoy His supernatural provision and health as we keep our eyes on Jesus. Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Won’t Stop Now - Elevation Worship 2. For My Good - New Creation Worship 3. Pride Of A Father - Hillsong Music 4. You Alone - Don Harris Grace is all about supply, Law is all about demand. Go by your spiritual discernment instead of just simply believing what is reported in the media about the body of Christ. The “anointing” is a ‘moving noun’. It is something dynamic and active. If you are a believer, it abides in you and teaches all things. Your mind wants to dominate you and it will never be satisfied, but God made you a spirit (the real you). You live in a body. Take care of your body, and trust the Lord to keep you healthy. The feeling of ‘deja vu’ is because your spirit saw that moment before it happened. The dead cannot come back. Familiar spirits impersonate the dead. The Scriptures confirm what your born-again spirit already knows on the inside. Matthew 6:25 - Your life is more important than material things and your body (health) is more important than clothing. God wants us to live carefree. “Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?” (Matthew 6:25 WEBUS) We are more valuable than the birds and yet our Heavenly Father even cares for the birds. We were created to look up and worship God. Everything that has breath was created to praise the Lord. Matthew 6:24-25 - Your life is wasting away if your purpose in life is to pursue money. ““No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon. Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?” (Matthew 6:24-25 WEBUS) People actively pursue wealth because of in unbelief. They do not believe that God can take care of them. When you keep your eyes on the Lord, He will supply all your needs. You will have more than enough, with enough to give and share with others. It is easy to see the harvest in someone’s life but not easy to see when they are sowing. The harvest comes after the season of sowing. God gave you His precious Son because He loves you. He will surely not withhold all other good things (which are lesser in value). The world always puts God out of the picture. Put Him in your situation.

3 July 2022 - Jesus Keeps Giving and Giving - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince encouraged us not to worry about tomorrow, and that there is more than enough grace for today. God will keep providing for all your needs day by day! Praise and Worship Song Performed:
The purpose of New Creation Church is to dust off and preach the Gospel of Grace that the Apostle Paul preached back then. God speaks to us especially at night when we are quiet and not using our phones. When you have free time, meditate on His word and pray to see what He is saying. God told Pastor Prince that He wants the Gospel to go forth faster, further, and stronger. Pastor Prince feels like he should remove the pay wall from his sermon messages (intellectual property). He feels like Joseph in the Bible who was asked to store up grain during the years of plenty so that he can open up the storehouse in the years of famine to be distributed to all. Ecclesiastes 1:9 - There is a principle in the Bible whereby that which once was is that which is, and what which shall be. There is nothing new under the sun. Pastor Prince senses that there is a season of famine coming. We can learn from the types in the Old Testament to discover what kind of steps and wisdom God gave back then. These can be applied to our lives today. “That which has been is that which shall be, and that which has been done is that which shall be done; and there is no new thing under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9 WEBUS) If we can work to our own perfect standard of righteousness, then there is no need for Jesus. Righteousness can only be received as a gift. The Book of Genesis is a mirror with The Book of Revelation. The Garden of Eden had a Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, but Paradise in The Book of Revelation does not. Paradise in Revelation is greater in scale and grandeur. In marriage, there is no “God’s perfect choice” or “one and only”. There is only “God’s appointed one”. 26 June 2022 - Abundant Blessings of Third Day Christians - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince showed us how we are in the Lord’s prophetic third day whereby great outpourings of God’s blessings and deliverance from the enemy will be seen upon the church! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Give Me This Mountain - New Creation Worship 2. That’s The Name - Hillsong Music 3. Jesus Shall Take Highest Honor 4. I Stand In Awe Of You Each one of us have a calling and purpose deposited into us even before we were born. When you fulfill your calling, you are more royal and fulfilled than anyone. Fame is empty. It cannot satisfy your heart. Matthew 16:25 - The more you try to save yourself in a thing, the more out of reach it seems. However, when you ‘lose your life’ for Christ, you will find it. After sacrificing your time and resources, you may come back to find that your desires have been fulfilled for you. “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 16:25 WEBUS) Success is doing what you were born to do. Do not die as a copy. This year, rest and God will accelerate His blessings in your life. 2 Peter 3:8 - When the Scriptures say do not forget, then we need to remember this. In this verse is the principle of time calculation with the Lord: one day with the Lord is as a thousand human years. “But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” (2 Peter 3:8 WEBUS) Hosea 6:2-3 - We are living in the time of after two thousand years after Jesus. We are in the third day. Jesus rose on the third day very early in the morning. This is a divine hint. We are going to see a lot of life and health in these last days—God will “revive” us. The Rapture will happen on the third day, perhaps very early in the morning like the time of Jesus’ resurrection. When we are in our new glorified body, we will not be floating around like a ghost. That body will have flesh and bones and it will be able to eat food. It will be much greater than our current mortal body. For any seed that we sow, we must depend on God for the harvest. The spring rain falls first, causing the seeds sown to sprout. Then the latter rain comes next year, causing the crops to plump up and be ready for harvest. The spring rain in noun form becomes “moreh” in Hebrew which means “teacher”. A teacher speaks words of wisdom and life. “After two days he will revive us. On the third day he will raise us up, and we will live before him. Let’s acknowledge Yahweh. Let’s press on to know Yahweh. As surely as the sun rises, Yahweh will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”” (Hosea 6:2-3 WEBUS) 19 June 2022 - How To Grow In Sonship - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes
New Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us deep truths about the spirit of sonship that banishes the orphan spirit that many are afflicted with. Being conscious of your position as a son causes you to inherit effortlessly! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Raise A Hallelujah - Bethel Music 2. As He Is So Are We - New Creation Worship 3. Shout To The Lord - Darlene Zschech 4. How Great Thou Art 5. I Wish You Jesus - Scott Wesley Brown 6. No Longer Slaves - Bethel Music The Bible is the Manufacturer’s Handbook for our benefit. Whenever something goes wrong, we can find the answers we need in the Bible. John 8:31-32 - Only the truth that you know will set you free. “Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”” (John 8:31-32 WEBUS) Jesus preached general sermons to the multitudes, but in private, He explained the meanings to His disciples. 1 Corinthians 4:15 - Some people understand the idea of student and teacher, but they do not understand the relationship between father and son. People have the orphan spirit, not knowing a father’s love. We must not miss out on the sonship spirit. “For though you have ten thousand tutors in Christ, you don’t have many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, I became your father through the Good News.” (1 Corinthians 4:15 WEBUS) John 16:12 - You can be a disciple and yet not intimate with the Lord. The twelve disciples were familiar with Jesus, but not all were intimate (understanding Him well). The Roman centurion was intimate with Jesus even when he was not familiar with Jesus. "“I still have many things to tell you, but you can’t bear them now." (John 16:12 WEBUS) Matthew 15:26-27 - The Syrophoenician woman was intimate (understanding His heart of grace) with Jesus, persevering in asking for deliverance for her demonized daughter. The Lord referred to the woman and her daughter as “little puppies” (the diminutive term). Puppies belong to the house as well. The woman called Jesus “Son of David”, like she was pretending to be a Jew. The woman asked for a crumb, not even the full bread, and the crumb was enough to drive the demon out of her daughter. We are sons and daughters of God. We sit at the Master’s table and can freely enjoy the children’s bread. “But he answered, “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” But she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”” (Matthew 15:26-27 WEBUS) Acts 11:26 - The word “called” is “chrematizo” in Greek, meaning “divinely called”. Believers were divinely called Christians. After the Book of Acts, they were no longer called disciples. Christian means “anointed one”. This title is not man’s idea—it was the Holy Spirit’s idea. “When he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they were gathered together with the assembly, and taught many people. The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.” (Acts 11:26 WEBUS) The word “disciple” comes from the Greek word “mathetes” which means “student”. Some people exalt the idea of being a disciple, and lower the idea of Christian. That is regression. John 6:65-69 - The disciples who walked away believed that they were so smart to find Jesus and choose to become His disciples. They were proud and could not accept grace. You can be a disciple and not a Christian, but you cannot be a Christian and not be a disciple. “He said, “For this cause I have said to you that no one can come to me, unless it is given to him by my Father.” At this, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him. Jesus said therefore to the twelve, “You don’t also want to go away, do you?” Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”” (John 6:65-69 WEBUS) The way we learn is by encountering the Father’s love. Paul never once called Timothy a disciple. He called him his son. Paul did not call Christians “disciples”. 12 June 2022 - Be Exalted By God’s Mighty Hand - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lim Lian NeoNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lian taught us how God wants us to stop relying on our own puny hands and instead depend on His mighty hand to exalt us in due time! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. (Don’t know the name of the song) 2. Everlasting - New Creation Worship 3. Glorious And Beautiful - New Creation Worship 4. In Whom I Can Trust - Steven Wee Our God is a happy God. Our Gospel is the Gospel of the Happy God. Isaiah 60:1-2 - We are living in dark times, but we have Jesus the light of the world in us shining through. ““Arise, shine; for your light has come, and Yahweh’s glory has risen on you! For behold, darkness will cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but Yahweh will arise on you, and his glory shall be seen on you.” (Isaiah 60:1-2 WEBUS) Exodus 33:18-19 - When God’s glory is seen on you, it means you are experiencing His goodness. Even though there is darkness in the world, we can still receive God’s goodness! “Moses said, “Please show me your glory.” He said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and will proclaim Yahweh’s name before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.”” (Exodus 33:18-19 WEBUS) 1 Peter 5:6-7 - In this time of adversity, do not depend on your puny hand, but on God’s mighty hand. When you do this, you will not stay under. He will exalt you. The word “exalt” in Greek is “hypsoo” which can mean “to raise to the very summit of opulence and prosperity”. It also has the meaning of “to raise to dignity, honor, and happiness”. The imagination has creative power. Allow this picture of God exalting you to fill your heart. God will raise you from the place of stressful-ness to happiness. There is a journey to being exalted “in due time”. In the meantime, we keep casting all our worries unto the Lord because He cares for us. “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7 WEBUS) 29 May 2022 - Understanding Grace and Discipleship - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us to humbly see Jesus as our Savior daily and not just as a Teacher to emulate. God loves it when we leave “man’s world” to enter His world by grace. Praise and Worship Song Performed: (I missed the first one or two songs) 1. For My Good - New Creation Worship 2. The Stand - Hillsong Music 3. King Of My Heart - Sarah McMillan Nicodemus the theologian came to Jesus at night whereas Jesus went to the woman of Samaria during the daytime. Jesus loves sinners. To Nicodemus, Jesus said “You must be born again.” To the woman, Jesus never used that tone. The first thing that Nicodemus said to Jesus is, “We know…” The erudite ones always think they know. However, it was to the woman that Jesus revealed Himself clearly as the Messiah. Jesus is primarily our Savior, not just a Teacher. Jesus is the bread of life and the living water. You eat the bread and drink the water. Jesus was distant with Nicodemus but gentle with the woman. He praised her, pointed out that she was living with a man who was not her husband, and then praised her again—a ‘divine sandwich’ of praise. The woman received great grace from Jesus and she became an instant evangelist, boldly telling all about Him. After ministering to the woman, Jesus was refreshed because a sinner had taken from the Savior. It was like food to Him. Luke 15:1 - Luke 15 is a continuation from Luke 14. “Now” (or sometimes translated as “Then”) connects the two chapters. “Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming close to him to hear him.” (Luke 15:1 WEB) Luke 15:2 - Jesus was a friend of sinners. He did not avoid them. “The Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, “This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them.”” (Luke 15:2 WEB) The Law (the Ten Commandments) demands righteousness from man whereas Grace supplies righteousness to man. God punished our sins in Jesus at the cross so that we can be declared righteous today. This is the holiness of God that has to punish sin. 22 May 2022 - Sonship is Greater Than Discipleship - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us the simple truth of what discipleship means, and how sonship is the way God wants Christians to live by under the New Covenant of Grace. Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Who You Say I Am - Hillsong Music 2. Trust In The Lord - New Creation Worship 3. How Great Thou Art You cannot just wait for Sundays to get into God’s word. There is so much that God wants to teach you. We are to be students of God’s grace. Jesus said that plagues, rumors of wars, and wars will be on the increase. We are living in these times. Bible study becomes fun when the Holy Spirit leads you in it. He gives you the rhema word and it is life to all your flesh. The Scriptures say that God’s people perish because of the lack of knowledge. God’s word reveals the true nature of things to us, and gives us His wisdom and knowledge. The word “disciple” is from the Greeks word “mathétés”, and in Hebrew it is “limud”. A disciple is nothing more than someone who is learning—a student. Disciples means a follower of a certain teacher (Rabbi). A Christian cannot help but be hungry for God’s word. We are the righteousness of God in Christ. When a butterfly falls among trash, it is still a butterfly. It does not turn back into a caterpillar. If you have been saved, you are still saved even if you have failed. You are a new creation in Christ. There were disciples before there were Christians. Some people teach that to become a Christian is free because Jesus paid the cost, but to be a disciple there is a high cost. The flesh loves this, but actually it is regressing. It is in the heart of every believer to learn. A baby does not have to be taught how to be hungry. A baby already hungers and cries out for milk. A greater thing than disciple is a son of God, which is what we are. 1 May 2022 - The Imaginations Of Your Heart - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us about the creative power in the imaginations of our heart. God’s word shows that out of our heart flows the forces of life. Guard your heart above all else! Praise and Worship Song Performed:
Remind yourself that you are the righteousness of God in Christ. Our sins are not just covered—they have been removed. There is still sin IN our flesh, but God does not see sin ON us. Atonement just means a covering. Jesus is the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world. Israel changed gods and started to offer their sons to Molech instead of the sin offering of the lamb to the true God. When Israel did this, they were brought into Babylonian captivity. After Israel came back from Babylon, they never went back to idolatry. People have this bad trait of wanting things they cannot have and discrediting what they do have. This is of the flesh. Proverbs 4:20-23 - Firstly, God’s word enters the ear gate. It also enters the eye gate. These gates are what allows entry into your heart. In all your guarding, guard your heart as the most important thing. Let God’s word enter your heart and it will be health to all your flesh. The “heart” here spoken of is “lev” in Hebrew, not “ruach” which is spirit. Your heart is not your spirit. “My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.” (Proverbs 4:20-23 WEB) Genesis 6:5 - The word “imagination” here is “yeser” in Hebrew. The imaginations in one’s heart will eventually manifest in the outside. “Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil.” (Genesis 6:5 WEB) Being saved in Christ is like being inside Noah’s ark. Even if you fall, you fall safely within the Ark. There is security in Christ. The Lord said to Noah, “come into the Ark.” After that, He said, “Go outside the Ark.” This is the mark of a leader—first one in and last one out. 17 April 2022 - Resurrection Is Greater Than Death - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince preached a powerful message about resurrection power, and also ministered in worship and words of knowledge for healing. A very timely sermon for Resurrection Sunday! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. This Is Amazing Grace - Bethel Music 2. Worthy Is The Lamb - Darlene Zschech 3. You Are My King - New Creation Worship 4. O Praise The Name (Anástasis) - Hillsong Music 5. Rest And Receive (One Thing) - Michael Davis 6. Everlasting - New Creation Worship Pastor Prince ministered in worship and words of knowledge for healing. Pastor Prince asked us to learn this song and sing it this week (tune demonstrated in the audio file above). As you do so, the Lord will set you free and deliver you: “You are my hiding place You always fill my heart With songs of deliverance Whenever I am afraid I will trust in You I will trust in You Let the weak say I am strong In the strength of the Lord” -- Don’t live in the future. Jesus told us to let not our hearts be afraid or troubled. He has given us His peace. We need to choose to let our hearts not be troubled. Our God is a present-day God. He will supply our daily bread. The past is gone and something that cannot be changed. God says He is “I AM that I AM”. It is not a question of coming and going. It is about appearing and disappearing. The resurrected Jesus transcends time and space. He can appear here and disappear instantly. Death was once the greatest power on earth. Now, resurrection is the greatest power. There were some instances of bringing the dead back to life in the four gospels. Jairus’ daughter died and was raised shortly. The widow of Nain’s son was raised on the same day where he died. Lazarus was raised four days after he died. Jesus is not moved by human sentiment. He waited two more days before going to Lazarus. Death tried to come for Jesus multiple times but it could not take Him before the time. At the cross, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Finished!” He laid down His life—He did not die from weakness. 3 April 2022 - Simple Things Used Powerfully By God - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince encouraged us to rely on God’s ways rather than the ways of the world. With God’s power backing you up, even simple things will produce mighty results! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Cornerstone - Hillsong Worship 2. Lavish Love - New Creation Worship 3. I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever - Martin Smith 1 Samuel 13:5-7 - Saul was the first king of Israel. People followed him while trembling with fear. “The Philistines assembled themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the seashore in multitude. They came up and encamped in Michmash, eastward of Beth Aven. When the men of Israel saw that they were in trouble (for the people were distressed), then the people hid themselves in caves, in thickets, in rocks, in tombs, and in pits. Now some of the Hebrews had gone over the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead; but as for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.” (1 Samuel 13:5-7 WEB) 1 Samuel 13:11 - Saul was a fleshly man who lived by sight. He offered up a sacrifice that he was not allowed to. Samuel should have been the one to do it. “Samuel said, “What have you done?” Saul said, “Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you didn’t come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines assembled themselves together at Michmash;” (1 Samuel 13:11 WEB) 2 Corinthians 5:7 - We are to walk by faith, not by sight. “for we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7 WEB) 1 Samuel 13:14 - The flesh does not want to wait upon the Lord. “But now your kingdom will not continue. Yahweh has sought for himself a man after his own heart, and Yahweh has appointed him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept that which Yahweh commanded you.”” (1 Samuel 13:14 WEB) Exodus 14:13 - We are to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, instead of acting upon the impulses of the flesh. “Moses said to the people, “Don’t be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of Yahweh, which he will work for you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall never see them again.” (Exodus 14:13 WEB) In leadership, we operate by the Lord’s leading, not to please the people. 1 Samuel 13:15-16 - The Philistines came so close to the capital of the territory of Benjamin, Gibeah where Saul ruled from. “Samuel arose, and went from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin. Saul counted the people who were present with him, about six hundred men. Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people who were present with them, stayed in Geba of Benjamin; but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.” (1 Samuel 13:15-16 WEB) 1 Samuel 13:17-18 - Some of the Israelites were fearful and defecting to the Philistines. A part of the body of Christ today have this mindset of expecting to be oppressed by the enemy instead of expecting the God-kind or overcoming victory. “The raiders came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned to the way that leads to Ophrah, to the land of Shual; another company turned the way to Beth Horon; and another company turned the way of the border that looks down on the valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.” (1 Samuel 13:17-18 WEB) Zechariah 4:6 - We cannot fight the devil with his own fleshly weapons. It is only possible by the Holy Spirit. “Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, “This is Yahweh’s word to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Yahweh of Armies.” (Zechariah 4:6 WEB) |
