When you hear the Gospel, it’s not just about listening through, but listening in, so that the revelation goes into your heart.

The world gives us bad news, but the house of God gives us a different perspective.

The house of God is the gate of Heaven. Angels come up and down Jacob’s ladder (Jesus) to carry our prayers to God and bring blessings down to us.

God wants us to renew our minds. It’s not about what we do, it’s about what we believe.

The Lord wants His people to slow down before it’s too late.
Leopards run fast but live short lives. Be like a relaxed camel or tortoise that lives long.

50% of residents in Singapore feel stressed out at the thought of doing nothing. People cannot rest.
People have a fear of missing out (FOMO) on what is going on in the world.

52% feel stuck in their daily routines.

74% wish they could spend more time with their family and loved ones.

People are procrastinating their rest until they receive the breakthroughs in life they are waiting for — it is costing their health and relationship.

Even when people go for vacations overseas, some are still so busy trying to rush to tourist attractions, still in work-mode.

Many arguments arise because of unrest in the heart, causing an unpleasant tone in speech.

Don’t replace Jesus in your life, even with ministry. We need Grace to enjoy Jesus and rest in His presence.

God’s Grace flows in your life when you’re resting in His promises. Today under Grace, if there is a lack of blessing in your life, it is not because you’re lacking in devotion — it’s a lack of faith. If you believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you will respond by entering into God’s rest.

Hebrews 4:1 - When you rest in the Lord, the supply will be there.

“Let us fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hebrews 4:2-3 - Today under Grace, if there is a lack of blessing in your life, it is not because you’re lacking in devotion — it’s a lack of faith.
If you believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you will respond by entering into God’s rest.

“For indeed we have had good news preached to us, even as they also did, but the word they heard didn’t profit them, because it wasn’t mixed with faith by those who heard. For we who have believed do enter into that rest, even as he has said, “As I swore in my wrath, they will not enter into my rest”; although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭4:2-3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 John 2:1-2 - The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, but He convicts us our our righteousness — that even if we fail, we are still the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
God’s Grace flows in your life when you’re resting in His promises.

“My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous. And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.” ‭‭(1 John‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalms‬ ‭1:1-3‬ - Many people think that they won’t be productive if they slow down.
Blessed is the man who meditates on God’s word day and night — Then you will be healthy and prosperous.

“Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭1:1-3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Joshua 1:8 - What is bad success? It is a type of success that compromises one area of your life, in order to enhance another part of your life.
Good success (wholesome success in all areas of your life) comes when you meditate on God’s word, enabling you to believe right.

“This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.” ‭‭(Joshua‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Keep coming to Jesus daily and He will give you good success

When you spend time in the presence of the Lord, good things happen.

Matthew 11:28 - The secret to God-given success is to keep coming to Jesus and receiving true rest from Him.

““Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew‬ ‭11:28‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Luke 14:16-20 - God has invited us to His great banquet.
Don’t make excuses that you need to settle your house, work and family first.
You can come to Jesus now.

“But he said to him, “A certain man made a great supper, and he invited many people. He sent out his servant at supper time to tell those who were invited, ‘Come, for everything is ready now.’ They all as one began to make excuses. “The first said to him, ‘I have bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please have me excused.’ “Another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I must go try them out. Please have me excused.’ “Another said, ‘I have married a wife, and therefore I can’t come.’” ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭14:16-20‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Proverbs‬ ‭4:23‬ ‭- What you’re facing today had first existed in your heart.
Watch what thoughts and beliefs you allow to enter your heart.
Guard it diligently — let God’s word in, instead of obsessing on what social media and the news say.
Guard your heart by remembering that God loves you.
Every day, if you don’t let Jesus into your heart, you will live as a defeated Christian.
70000 thoughts race through our mind every day — You have to actively hold on to God’s word.
Meditating on God’s word allows you to slow down your pace of life, to rest in Him.

“Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.” ‭‭(Proverbs‬ ‭4:23‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The essence of rest is love. When you know you’re being loved, you’ll be at rest.
