25 November 2018 - Let the Grace of God Work in You - New Creation Church Guest Speaker Sermon Notes - Pastor Joshua McCauley (Redemption Church) Sermon Notes

Praise and Worship songs performed:
  1. Grace Revolution - New Creation Worship
  2. Anthem of Grace - New Creation Worship
  3. Wonderful (Grace Made Real) - New Creation Worship
  4. Build My Life - Housefires

Redemption Church’s outreach team brought Pastor Joseph Prince’s Book, “Grace Revolution” into maximum security prison and the feedback was so good from the prisoners.
It is most probably going to be sanctioned as an approved Bible Study book in all prisons in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Sometimes God withholds the full revelation of His call in your life because you will shrink back in fear if you’re not sufficiently prepared yet.

Gideon was the least of the least of the least, and he felt so unworthy that he argued with an angel about the legitimacy of God’s word to him. He was focusing on his own inadequacy and weaknesses.

God wants to release you into greater and into His heart for you.

Don’t just see where the Lord has taken you. See the size of where God wants to take you to.

Have a radical faith in Grace

Romans 1:16-17 - The power of God sits on the revelation of who Jesus is and what He has done. This allows us to access His power.
It takes our focus away from our own inadequacy and unworthiness.
Many people feel like they are not good enough and not powerful enough.
If you don’t allow the Grace of God to work in you, you cannot display the Grace of God to those around you.
Many Christians are so burdened by performance. They are not good testimonies of God’s goodness.
Unbelievers are not stupid: they look at an unhappy Christian and think “If even you can’t please God, then all the more I can’t do it. I have enough problems. I don’t need God on my case as well.”.
Evangelism is not about arguing scripture. It is about exposing the goodness of God in your life.
God wants us to have a radical faith in Grace.
Faith has to be aimed at something. It is a conduit to get to something. God wants us to access Grace with faith.

“For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek. For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”” (Romans 1:16-17 WEB)

Genesis 22:1-14 - God doesn’t test you to show that you are good. It is to prove that He is good.
He wants to prove that He is better than you think.
The test is not a trapdoor whereby you get it wrong and God pulls the lever, allowing you to fall to your doom.
Abraham didn’t know what was going to happen, but he believed that he wouldn’t lose. He believed in God’s goodness.
God is not a burden giver but a burden remover.
Prayer is not about how sincere you pray or how long or loud you pray.
Prayer is a burden remover - you can cast your cares upon the Lord for God cares for you.
When you pray, the responsibility of provision is now positioned upon the Lord. When you pray, it is now up to God to give to us.
The devil has tricked us into making prayer a burden.
Trust in the goodness of God because in the end you will come out better off.
The weapons that were formed against you by the enemy will be that which God uses to prosper you and become an asset for you.
The Promise Land is not about surviving but about thriving.
Abraham didn’t say to Isaac that “you’re the lamb”.
When bring Jesus with you into the house of God, you bring the most pleasing sacrifice to God.
God has provided for you. You do not need to bring God anything. Everything that we can offer to God today, was first given from God.
The only thing that we can boast that is our own, is our sin. God wants you to cast that burden to Him so that He can give you His rest.
Children understand that their father’s role is to provide.
Many people have a problem with Grace because they want to be the ones to sacrifice and suffer for God. They want the glory.
It took a greater faith for Abraham to rely on the provision of the Lord than on himself.
God has provided a Lamb for us. His name is Jesus.

“After these things, God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!” He said, “Here I am.” He said, “Now take your son, your only son, whom you love, even Isaac, and go into the land of Moriah. Offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains which I will tell you of.” Abraham rose early in the morning, and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son. He split the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went to the place of which God had told him. On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place far off. Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey. The boy and I will go yonder. We will worship, and come back to you.” Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. He took in his hand the fire and the knife. They both went together. Isaac spoke to Abraham his father, and said, “My father?” He said, “Here I am, my son.” He said, “Here is the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?” Abraham said, “God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they both went together. They came to the place which God had told him of. Abraham built the altar there, and laid the wood in order, bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar, on the wood. Abraham stretched out his hand, and took the knife to kill his son. Yahweh’s angel called to him out of the sky, and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” He said, “Here I am.” He said, “Don’t lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him. For now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.” Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and saw that behind him was a ram caught in the thicket by his horns. Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering instead of his son. Abraham called the name of that place Yahweh Will Provide. As it is said to this day, “On Yahweh’s mountain, it will be provided.”” (Genesis 22:1-14 WEB)

Sandcastles Don't Last Forever

$14.99 $9.99

This is the eBook version.

If you prefer to get the Paperback version (physical copy), you can get it on Amazon here for US$15.

About the Book:

One day when I was singing praises to God, an image floated up in my spirit: a big and beautiful sandcastle being washed away by the waves from the sea. God was teaching me the futility of holding tightly onto worldly possessions because like the sandcastle, they won't last, and one day will cease to exist.

He taught me from His word to focus on Him and by doing so, I would reap great eternal rewards before Jesus' throne at the start of the Millennium. These rewards will last forever and can't be destroyed or stolen.

It is my prayer that the revelations in this book will help you to live with a focus on the things above where God is, fulfill your God-given calling in life, be happier and to accumulate more eternal rewards to your account.

In this Book, you will learn about:

- Heavenly investment advice and the futility of worldly pursuits from a trillionaire in the Bible

- Why God has to reward us in order to be righteous

- When and how God will destroy the current earth and sky to make way for new ones

- The types of fireproof works that earn eternal rewards at the end of time

- The abundant rewards of doing good works while abiding by the non-disclosure agreement between God and you

- The difference between the temporary places of torment: Sheol and Abaddon

- Who is the Antichrist and his name revealed in the Bible

- What is the Mark of the Beast and why it disqualifies its recipients from receiving salvation

- The different judgments at the throne of Jesus Christ and what it means for you as a believer

- How to fulfill your calling and maximize your gifts to receive the best eternal rewards

Testimonials about the contents of this book:

"Sandcastles Don't Last Forever is very well written, its message loud and clear. Milton Goh gives common-sense insight on often confusing Scripture, which is much appreciated in these troubled times. My understanding of the Bible has definitely improved."

- Mike Garrett, first Editor/ Publisher for Stephen King and Author of Christian Novel "Innocence Denied", from USA

"This book is absolutely breathtaking. We don't work to be saved but were created to do good works. I am so energized and excited to know God values our works and we will be rewarded. This is all Glory to Jesus... I cant wait to throw my crowns at his feet and thank him for saving my life!" - Evangelist Michael Clark from USA

"Dear Milton Goh, I truly thank our Abba, Father for the revelations in this book. It is so amazing how I begin to discover important verses in the Bible that I have never read. That instead of following riches, with sleepless nights, and actually shortening our lives, we are just to 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ', and 'Love one another'. How beautiful to find out that actually in the Bible there is both 'Earthly or Worldly Investment Wisdom' and 'Eternal Investment Wisdom' according to the revelations here from Ecclesiastes 5:14-17 WEB)!; “It seems like Solomon was not only wise at earning material riches but also at earning eternal riches.” All the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ! God bless you Milton Goh for such a wonderful book!" - Nitta Nierra from Belgium

“Thank you Milton. I have just finished reading “Sandcastles Don’t Last Forever”. It’s such a good book that's filled with God's word. I love it very much. Might read again if I have the time. Thanks so much!” - Mally Chai from Singapore

"I'm reading this book and loving it! The revelations of the Gospel truth shared and it's life applications are absolutely amazing! I give glory to the Lord Jesus for my dear brother Milton for this exceptional resource. I'm gonna keep feeding on its contents and believe God for supernatural breakthroughs as my mind is renewed in Christ!" - Terence from Tombel, Cameroon

“Excellent book!! I enjoyed reading it so much and definitely recommend it! Milton is so gifted and all his teachings have blessed me tremendously! I thank God for people like him. Get this book, it will be worth it!” - Madeleine from SA, “Unmerited Favor” tier patron

Your failures qualify you to receive great Grace

Peter was the greatest failure of the twelve apostles of Christ. Judas betrayed Jesus but Peter denied Jesus. Peter committed a greater sin.
Peter boasted in himself and had faith in himself.
Peter denied Jesus three times and the last time he denied Jesus, he did it to a little girl. You can’t get more pathetic as an evangelist than that.
The Holy Spirit chose Peter, the greatest failure, to be used mightily by God.
After Jesus rose from the dead, the first name that’s mentioned is Peter.

Acts 3:1-9 - Peter experienced grace like no other disciple because he was the biggest failure.
In Acts 2, the people of Jerusalem mocked Peter but he stood up by the Grace of God and saw thousands saved.
Singapore needs the Grace of God. It doesn’t need science or money. To possess it, we just have to be in need of it.

“Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. A certain man who was lame from his mother’s womb was being carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask gifts for the needy of those who entered into the temple. Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive gifts for the needy. Peter, fastening his eyes on him, with John, said, “Look at us.” He listened to them, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!” He took him by the right hand, and raised him up. Immediately his feet and his ankle bones received strength. Leaping up, he stood, and began to walk. He entered with them into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God. All the people saw him walking and praising God.” (Acts 3:1-9 WEB)

Let the Grace of God work in you first and it will work through you second.

True love is when two parties choose each other. God has already chosen you. Now all of heaven is waiting for you to choose Him too.

Remember: have faith not in yourself, but in the Grace of God.
