Hello Milton!
That's my dad's name too!
I have a few questions regarding the video. First, in Matthew 27: 51- 55 states that saints of old came out of their graves and walked the streets of Jerusalem when Jesus resurrected. Does this mean He was in Abrahams bosom with the thief on the cross like the apocrapha states? Are those saints in Heaven now since they received immortal bodies already? Next, in Revelation 6:9-11 there are martyred souls under the alter in HEAVEN waiting for Jesus to avenge their murders and He tells them to wait a little longer until all the martyrs have come. Does this mean that souls do go straight to Heaven then because they were waiting for judgement day for Jesus to revenge their deaths? Lastly, John said he saw a multitude in HEAVEN already and all the seals, bowls, and trumpets hadn't even taken place yet. Does this mean we are already in HEAVEN in our glorified bodies?

Hi MHP,

1) Abraham’s bosom is the Garden of Eden which is now in the lower section of Heaven.

Jesus went there with the repentant robber after they died on the cross.

Those saints that were raised did not have glorified bodies, since Jesus has the title “Firstborn from the dead”.

These saints were raised to mortal life again in their mortal bodies and lived until they died again.

After they died, yes those saints are also in the Garden of Eden in Heaven.

2) Souls of believers throughout time go straight to Heaven upon death. Yes the souls of the martyrs are still waiting for God to avenge their deaths.

3) When the Rapture happens, we will be in our glorified bodies already and we’ll be in Heaven with God and Jesus.

We won’t be on earth to go through the Great Tribulation. Only those who become believers during the Tribulation will have to go through it and endure the sufferings until Jesus returns, without accepting the mark of the Beast.

Hai Milton thank you so much for explaining so beautifully. I have a question what about Unbelievers when they die. Will they go directly to hell or temporary hell? What happens when Jesus return in second coming at the end of tribulation; will he rule here on earth; what is he's purpose of coming; when will the world end?

Hi Lawson,

1) The spirits of unbelievers descend to Hell upon their death. Hell is a temporary fiery prison to confine the spirits of sinners until the final judgment before Jesus’ Great White Throne at the end of time.
Unbelievers will be raised to life to be judged by their works and found to be sinners.
After that judgment, the unbelievers will be cast alive into the lake of fire, dying a second time and their spirits will burn in that fire forever—that’s called the second death.

2) At His second coming, Jesus returns with us to destroy the Antichrist and to save Israel.
He will establish a worldwide kingdom on earth, ruling physical from Jerusalem.

The purpose of the Millennial Reign of Christ on earth, I believe, is to show man that even with the devil bound in the bottomless pit and with Jesus reigning physically on earth, man will still disobey God and rebel against Jesus.

Man simply cannot become righteous through obedience to the Law. They cannot blame the devil not blame that they can’t see or hear God physically.

3) This current earth and heavens will be destroyed by fire from Heaven at the final rebellion of Satan after the 1000 years are up. The Book of Revelation says that the armies of Satan will be innumerable like the numbers of sand of the sea—showing that man is still unchangeably wicked if they don’t place their faith in Jesus to be saved. Even if they can see and hear Him physically on earth.

Only Jerusalem will remain untouched, and below it will be the eternal lake of fire burning with unquenchable fire. I believe the Great White Throne will take place at Jerusalem, and the angels will cast all unbelievers into the lake of fire that’s exposed and burning around it.

Then God will turn the ravaged heavens and earth into new heavens and new earth. We will live with God in the eternal city of New Jerusalem on the new earth, forever.

They don't go anywhere special because there is no such thing as a rapture. You are confusing this text with the return of Christ. Read the next chapter for clarification of this.
