26 June 2016 - Find Your Position to Possess Your Possessions - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineSunday is the Lord's Day. Jesus rose from the dead and appeared to His disciples on a Sunday. On a Sunday, Jesus expounded from the Scriptures about the things concerning Himself to the two disciples on the Road to Emmaus. On Sundays, we have to hear something about Christ. That's the solution to our foolishness and slowness of heart to believe. Statistics have shown that people who go to church on Sundays live longer! Don't allow negative news to come into your spirit. Don't waste time reading or watching negative news. For every interview with an opinion given, there is always an opposing view to it. Psalms 91 in the Bible is a psalm that promises God's all-encompassing protection. God's name is mentioned 5 times - the number of grace. There are 3 mentions of habitation in Psalms 91. Psalms 91:1 - "Dwells" is "yashav" which means to sit down. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalms 91:1 NKJV) Psalms 91:9-11 - "Dwelling place" in Hebrew is "maon" which means a place of safety. In the Hebrew, the word "plague" is the word for "stroke". No stroke will come near your dwelling. “Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.” (Psalms 91:9-11 NKJV) Psalms 91:16 - "Salvation" is "Yeshua" which is the name of Jesus. We can ask God for long life. It is not to satisfy God, but to satisfy us! “With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”” (Psalms 91:16 NKJV) If you find your position, you will find your possession. Position before possession. Living under the Law is based on human efforts. Grace is based on God's promises. The food on this earth is fallen food. The earth is under the curse. Bless your food before you eat - Therein lies the blessing. If you do things by the flesh, you may get immediate results but it is limited and confined. If you wait on the Lord, it may take longer, but it will be much greater in quality, according to the limitless supply of the Spirit. Colossians 2:10 - We lack for nothing. We are complete in Him now. Our understanding is always playing catch up with God's truths. We are already placed at the finish-line at the beginning of our journey as a believer. “and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” (Colossians 2:10 NKJV) When we take holy communion to receive healing, we must partake in the position of rest, declaring our faith that we are already healing, and not in the position of trying to be healed. To be healed, we must go into deeper rest in Christ, rather than trying harder to be healed which produces stress. Deuteronomy 28:1-3 - We are set far above all powers and principalities. Christianity begins with DONE, not DO. We walk not to be complete, but we walk in completion. We come with a sense of fullness, not of emptiness. God wants us to feel secure, deeply loved, liberally supplied, highly favored and greatly blessed. A favorite tactic of the devil today is to create a sense of insecurity, that anything bad can happen to you at any moment. ““Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God: “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.” (Deuteronomy 28:1-3 NKJV) Ephesians 2:4-7 - In God's viewpoint, we are now seated in heaven with Christ. Compared to God's viewpoint we cannot understand many things. We have to take God's word by faith. Faith is not blind, faith is intelligent. Faith is based on superior authority, reality, wisdom and intelligence beyond us. If we trust God's intelligence, we got to trust His word and go by faith. “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:4-7 NKJV) Psalms 92:13 - If you try to obtain something through striving and through your fleshly efforts, it is form of unbelief. However, if you rest, you are honouring God, showing that you trust Him. “Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God.” (Psalms 92:13 NKJV) Luke 4:3-13 - The constant theme of the devil is to leave out the word "beloved". It is counterproductive for the devil to remind Jesus that He is loved by God. Jesus never fought the devil with the spoken word of God, but through the written word of God. To defeat Satan, quote "It is written..." “And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’ ” Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ” Then he brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ” And Jesus answered and said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not tempt the LORD your God.’ ” Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.” (Luke 4:3-13 NKJV)

24 Jan 2016 - Keep Hearing The Word of God to Possess Your Possessions! - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineFollow the spirit and not the legality of the letter. Pastor Joseph Prince said that this is one of the most important messages that he will ever preach. This is a message that will keep on giving, and bless you in every area of your life. This is a message that can mean between life and death. Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds from God. God wants us to get back to the culture of keeping on hearing the word of God. He doesn't want us to continue being robbed. 1 Kings 3:8-13 - Solomon was about 17 to 20 years old at this point in time. His father had just died. King Solomon asked God for a hearing heart, and this pleased the Lord. When you ask God for a hearing heart, God will give you bonuses - even good things that you have not asked for. King Solomon was the first trillionaire in the Bible. The temple of Solomon that Solomon built is worth today about US$5 Billion. It's a simple prayer: Ask God for a hearing heart. “And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted. Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?” The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. Then God said to him: “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days.” (I Kings 3:8-13 NKJV) One of the signs that a person has received wisdom is that he/she loves to be in the house of God, and relishes the presence of God. In Psalm 51, King David said to God "Don't take your presence from me". Of all things he could ask for, he asked for that. He had wisdom. The things of the world are frothy, while the things of God are weighty. King Solomon even listened to the two prostitutes that disputed over a child. We need to hear the voice of God in our spouse, family members, and friends who care about you. There is safety in the local church. Solomon's wisdom even excelled that of Adam. Adam could name and remember all the names of the animals in the Garden of Eden. Jesus said that One greater than Solomon is here (He was referring to Himself). The secular experts say that we only use one-tenth of our brain power. The nine spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit completes the other nine-tenth! Matthew 6:25-30 - The lilies of the field are clothed from within - it is true growth, whereas Solomon's glory was external - it was added upon him. If it is all taken away, man is nothing. Jesus told us: do not worry. ““Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?” (Matthew 6:25-30 NKJV) 29 Nov 2015 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - Grace Revolution USA Tour 2015 at Barclays Center, New York - Our God Restores!Pastor Joseph Prince sang Psalm 34 over the congregation - deliverance, healing, breaking of all bondage took place on a massive scale. Praise Jesus! “I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing. Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Who is the man who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their cry. The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all. He guards all his bones; Not one of them is broken. Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.” (Psalms 34:1-22 NKJV) The bread is a symbol of Jesus' body, not His actual body, but it is powerful! Healing miracles can happen instantly or progressively through Holy Communion. Every time you partake, believe that you're getting better and better. Partake of Holy Communion everyday, all the way until you're 100% healed and beyond! You'll get healed and get younger too! Pastor Prince loves to teach from the Old Testament to bring Jesus out from the shadows! Leviticus 6:4-5 - Under the trespass offering, if the sinner has stolen, he has to restore 120% more to the person that he has stolen from. When God restores, He always restores greater in either quality and/or quantity! “then it shall be, because he has sinned and is guilty, that he shall restore what he has stolen, or the thing which he has extorted, or what was delivered to him for safekeeping, or the lost thing which he found, or all that about which he has sworn falsely. He shall restore its full value, add one-fifth more to it, and give it to whomever it belongs, on the day of his trespass offering.” (Leviticus 6:4-5 NKJV) Psalms 69:4 - We have robbed God of His glory, but Jesus has restored on our behalf what He did not take away! Jesus took the place of the injurer. God designed it such that Jesus would be become injurer in our place. “Those who hate me without a cause Are more than the hairs of my head; They are mighty who would destroy me, Being my enemies wrongfully; Though I have stolen nothing, I still must restore it.” (Psalms 69:4 NKJV) John 15:25 - Jesus said this of Himself at the Last Supper. It is from the Messianic Psalm 69. “But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’” (John 15:25 NKJV) Pastor Prince believes that we are the final generation! Colossians 1:17 - When Jesus is in the center of your life, everything is held together! “And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together). [Prov. 8:22-31.]”" (Colossians 1:17 AMP) We don't have to do restitution! The thief on the cross next to Jesus' cross did not do restitution, but he was still saved! 26 July 2015 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - Pastor Joseph Prince Hillsong Conference Europe 2015 Sermon - In The Order of MelchizedekWe have a divine mandate from God to rest in Jesus's finished work. When you work, God rests. When you rest, God works. Hebrews 4:1 - The Bible says 365 times not to fear. But only this one time, we are told to fear leaving God's rest. "Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it." (Hebrews 4:1 NKJV) The work is already DONE. The devil is already defeated! The devil wants to trick you into leaving God's rest. That which is visible is temporal, but that which is invisible is eternal. In the Old Testament, the high priest represents the people to God. A prophet represents God to the people. Jesus loves you right where you are now. He doesn't wait for you to clean yourself. He is the bath that makes you clean. We don't become a better man to get saved, we get saved to become a better man! Jesus is our High Priest forever. He has no successor. Whether we are accepted by God or not is not determined by how good we are, but it's about how good our High Priest is. We are not transformed by beholding our own 'gory'. We are transformed by beholding Jesus's glory. Psalms 110:4 - "Melchizedek" means "King of Righteousness". Jesus is our High Priest and King of Righteousness forever. "The LORD has sworn And will not relent, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.”" (Psalms 110:4 NKJV) People glorify the strong and the talented, whereas God glorifies the lost, the last, and the least. 30 November 2014 - Overflowing Life And Health—Keys From The Story Of Elisha - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online
Before we become self-righteous, we all have those times where we are low on faith too. Even these great Men of God, Elijah, even David. Then what about us? Moses spent 40 days and 40 nights on Mt Sinai - it took 7 chapters to write about it, whereas Creation is only 1 chapter. God talked with him about His Son in types, figures and shadows, and gave Moses the two tablets of stone (with The Law) only on the last day. God loves to hear about and talk about Jesus. He who has The Son (Jesus), has all other blessings too. Because of the cross, God is righteous in justifying sinners. God's righteousness is satisfied because of His Son. He is so satisfied that He makes us His sons! The way to teach the Bible is to unveil Jesus in the Scriptures. Why were Cleopas and the other disciple prevented from recognising Jesus in person on the Road to Emmaus? Why didn't Jesus just show them the marks in His hands and feet to make them believe? Revelation given to Pastor Joseph Prince: It's more important for us to see Jesus in the Scriptures than to see Jesus in person while alive, so that all generations would have the equal chance to see Jesus in the Word. Elijah and Elisha appeared during the most corrupt period in Israel, during the reign of King Ahab who married the witch, Jezebel. There is a succession to priests and kings, but not for prophets. God can raise a prophet from anywhere. The only instance of prophetic succession is Elijah to Elisha. Elijah (His name means "My God saves") reminds us of John the Baptist whereas Elisha reminds us of Jesus. Elijah's miracles are miracles of judgement whereas Elisha's miracles are miracles of grace. Elijah's first miracle was to prevent rain in Israel. Elisha moved among the common folk and was easily accessible. Elijah dressed roughly and differently. Luke 1:17 - John the Baptist comes in the spirit of Elijah. "He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”" (Luke 1:17 NKJV) Elijah's ministry was cut short. One of the most famous incidents regarding Elijah is when he confronted the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. The prophets of Baal were cutting themselves - God will never ask you to mutilate yourself. God heals. Elijah put twelve stones together representing the twelve tribes of Israel. God's fire descended from heaven consumed the sacrifice and even all the water surrounding it was gone. Under the Law, the judgement is greater than the sacrifice. Under grace, the sacrifice (Jesus) is greater than the judgement. At the cross, Jesus consumed all the judgement of God and was still alive. Luke 7:33-34 - Legalism cannot be satisfied. They will either say you're too strict or too licentious. They said that John was to severe and Jesus too indulgent. The words that they used as an accusation towards Jesus becomes a wonderful accolade for us today. Jesus is our friend (we were all sinners before receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior). Jesus is a ready, gracious friend. He always meets our needs. "For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’" (Luke 7:33-34 NKJV) We would have thought that after the confrontation at Mount Carmel where the Lord proved that He is the true God, Israel would have turned back to the Lord, but they did not. Elijah was greatly discouraged. There's nothing more crushing than failure in ministry. When Jezebel heard that Elijah killed the prophets of Baal, she swore to kill him, and Elijah in fear, ran away to escape from her. When you take your eyes off Jesus, things become bleak. Keep your eyes on Him! Elijah threw himself under a juniper tree and told the Lord, "Let me die!" If he really wanted to die, he could have waited for Jezebel to come and kill him. When we take our eyes off God, we become a walking contradiction. We should make small our problems, and make God big! Instead of answering Elijah's prayer, God put him to sleep. Aren't we glad that God doesn't answer all our prayers? He sees our needs and supplies us with what we lack. God sent an angel and prepared food and drink for Elijah, and after eating, Elijah went back to sleep again. After Elijah woke up again, the angel fed him again. Jesus is the only Food that nourishes us. Spend time to feed on Him through reading the Word.
