12 February 2023 - God’s Love Casts Out All Fear - New Creation Church Sermon Notes (Pastor Gabriel Tan)New Sermon Notes: Pastor Gabriel Tan taught us the solution for our fears: receive God’s perfect love that casts out every fear. Al-tirah (don’t be afraid)! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Reckless Love - Cory Asbury 2. Let’s Take Time To Wait 3. As The Deer - Martin Nystrom 4. The One Thing - New Creation Worship 5. No Higher Calling - Greg Gulley and Lenny LeBlanc The Word of God has the answer to all our greatest fears. Genesis 3:8-12 - This was the first occurrence of fear in the Bible. God knew where Adam was but asked that question to let Adam know that he had been separated from fellowship with Him. We sin because of fear and we fear because of sin. We lie and blame others because of fear. “They heard Yahweh God’s voice walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Yahweh God among the trees of the garden. Yahweh God called to the man, and said to him, “Where are you?” The man said, “I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; so I hid myself.” God said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate it.”” (Genesis 3:8-12 WEBUS) Genesis 15:1 - God told Abram “Al Tirah”(don’t be afraid) in Hebrew. This word came to Abram after Abram had gone to battle to rescue his nephew Lot. “After these things Yahweh’s word came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Don’t be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”” (Genesis 15:1 WEBUS) Genesis 14:18-24 - Melchizedek declared that Abram belonged to God. The ruler of this world (the devil) only wants people. He wants to corrupt the hearts and minds of everyone, including your children. The devil does not care about material goods—he is after souls. Let the Word of God be your final authority—not the court of public opinion. “Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High. He blessed him, and said, “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth. Blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” Abram gave him a tenth of all. The king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the people, and take the goods for yourself.” Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have lifted up my hand to Yahweh, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth, that I will not take a thread nor a sandal strap nor anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich.’ I will accept nothing from you except that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men who went with me: Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre. Let them take their portion.”” (Genesis 14:18-24 WEBUS) Genesis 15:2-6 - Abram was afraid and complaining but God still promised to bless Abram. The word translated as “believed” in the passage below is “aman” in Hebrew which is where we get Amen. To say Amen is to declare that you believe God. Righteousness does not come from deeds—good works are the fruit of righteousness. Righteousness can only be received as a gift from God. “Abram said, “Lord Yahweh, what will you give me, since I go childless, and he who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?” Abram said, “Behold, you have given no children to me: and, behold, one born in my house is my heir.” Behold, Yahweh’s word came to him, saying, “This man will not be your heir, but he who will come out of your own body will be your heir.” Yahweh brought him outside, and said, “Look now toward the sky, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.” He said to Abram, “So your offspring will be.” He believed in Yahweh, who credited it to him for righteousness.” (Genesis 15:2-6 WEBUS)

5 February 2023 - Receive Perfected Grace Through Prayer - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how to receive God’s mighty power to work in and through us by humbling ourselves and receiving purely through prayer. Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Sons And Daughters - New Creation Worship 2. Good Good Father - Pat Barrett 3. Magnificent - Darlene Zschech 4. Times Of Refreshing - Don Harris We are spirit beings who live in a body. The world looks down, expecting death to come for them, but we look up, expecting our bodily redemption from God. To live eternally with God we must be born again through faith in Jesus Christ. Pastor Prince ministered in words of knowledge for healing: Healing for joint conditions. Someone who had pain in the lower back was healed. Woman healed of pain in the wrist. Man whose shoulder joint popped out was healed and now he can rotate his arm fully. Woman who could not straighten up her back was healed and can finally stand up straight. Woman was healed of a twitch in her leg. Healing for intestinal area, stomach, womb, tumors, and growths. Ecclesiastes 3:11 - The word translated as “time” here is “kairos” in Greek in the Septuagint. God will cause what is ugly to become beautiful in this Kairos Year of Right Time Right Place. “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man can’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11 WEBUS) If possible, come to attend the services in person. There is no replacement for the corporate anointing that is present when God’s people are gathered together to worship the Lord. Galatians 6:9 - The words translated as “due season” is actually “kairos” in Greek. There is a due season for you to reap the good harvest of what you have sown. “Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.” (Galatians 6:9 WEBUS) The world will get darker and darker but for God’s people we will experience His favor in this Kairos year. 15 January 2023 - Rise Up To Christ - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us about the spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit and how God will cause these gifts—especially the revelation and power gifts, to operate through us more frequently this year. Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Great Things - Phil Wickham 2. Supply - New Creation Worship 3. Hide Me In The Shelter - Cheryl Thomas 4. You Alone - Don Harris The best way to help a person is to give an unbeliever Jesus. The best thing you can give your children is Jesus. God does not choose to send lazy people for evangelism. He chooses people who are equipped and who have spent times and seasons studying God’s word. There are 9 spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit: 3 Vocal gifts 3 Revelation gifts 3 Power gifts The word of knowledge is a spiritual gift where you supernaturally receive knowledge about the present from God. The gift of discerning of spirits allows you to supernaturally tell what kind of spirit a person is operating by—whether godly, demonic, or fleshly. A believer can move in the gifts even when they have bad character. Gift is given by grace, not because a believer earned it. Ideally, we need to have both the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit and the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit so that both the power and character are maximized. The gifts are distributed by the Holy Spirit as He chooses. A believer can operate in all 9 gifts, but some believers move more frequently in certain gifts than other kinds of gifts. We cannot decide when to start moving in a specific gift, except for the gift of speaking in tongues. The rest of the gifts are distributed by the Holy Spirit. We will move more frequently in the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit this year. 2023 Kairos Year Of Right Time Right Place (8 January 2023) - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes
New Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince said this is “2023 Kairos Year Of Right Time Right Place”. Discover how you will come upon opportune seasonable moments and happenings this year by God’s grace! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. As He Is So Are We - New Creation Worship 2. Won’t Stop Now - Elevation Worship 3. Goodness Of God - Bethel Music 4. Worthy Of It All - David Brymer Live life seeing God smiling at you every day. The Lord makes His face shine on you. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word “panim” means face but is translated into English as “presence”. Jesus had a unique message for each of the seven local churches of Asia in the Book of Revelation. The theme of the year shared is for the local church of New Creation Church, not for the whole body of Christ. In Psalm 91, being under the shadow of the Almighty means to be so close to God and you are safe because He is protecting you. Ecclesiastes 9:11 - The word “time” in this verse is “eth” in Hebrew while the word “chance” is “qarah” in Hebrew. Eth and Qarah is about “right happening”. “I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11 WEBUS) You cannot get closer to God through right behavior. You have to understand that you are already close to God because you are in Christ. Your prayers are just as powerful as if Jesus is praying Himself. This is what it means to pray in Jesus’ name. Praise and worship songs performed: 1. No Other Name - Hillsong Music 2. Forever - Chris Tomlin 3. I See Grace - New Creation Worship 4. Living Hope - Bethel Music 5. Shout To The Lord - Darlene Zschech God’s eyes are on you to bring about good in your life. We are still in the times of the Gentiles. We can enjoy food and drinks, but not excessively until it becomes gluttony or drunkenness. God’s love is with us for every step in 2023. We do not know what the future holds but we know who holds the future. Death and bad things happen in this world because of Adam’s sin. We live on a fallen earth. We need to press through in faith and prayer until we see our breakthrough. Jesus was not satisfied with the woman with the issue of blood receiving a blessing secretly. He wanted her to know that God wants her to be healed, so He called her out from the crowd and affirmed her. In all things, Jesus has the preeminence. His love is better than wine. When parents brought their children to Jesus and asked Him just to touch them, He exceeded that and embraced them. He exceeds us in everything. Those who are in Heaven now are disembodied but they are happy and at peace with their departed loved ones who are in Christ. The only part of redemption we are still waiting for now is the redemption of our mortal bodies. This will happen when the Rapture happens. I am a spirit, I have a soul (my emotions and mind), and I live in a body. Long before the body breaks down, the spirit has been troubled and down. When a person receives Jesus as Lord, he is born again in the spirit. When a person is saved, it is eternally. It is not a probational salvation. We became righteous by being born again as a righteous new creation in Christ, in the class of God’s family. God told Pastor Prince that he should pray for everyone attending the service to have a brand new mind. Adam sinned in a perfect environment (the Garden of Eden). Jesus (the Last Adam) obeyed God in a desolate environment of the wilderness. 25 December 2022 - Proofs of God’s Love For You - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince showed us from the Scriptures how we can know for sure that God loves us. Have a blessed Christmas! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Angels We Have Heard On High 2. Joy To The World 3. Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee 4. The First Noel 5. What Child Is This Boy Going 6. O Holy Night 7. To Believe 8. We Are The Reason 9. The Wind And Wave - New Creation Worship 10. O Come All Ye Faithful Matthew 1:18-19 - Jesus was born of a virgin. Medical research has now found that the baby does not receive any of his parents’ blood from the placenta. Jesus’ blood is sinless. “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.” (Matthew 1:18-19 WEBUS) Matthew 1:20 - Both Joseph and Mary came from the lineage of David. Jesus was born of the royal stock. “But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 1:20 WEBUS) Jesus was born King of the Jews—He was not only heir-apparent. Our sins were a barrier between us and God. Jesus came to save us from our sins. Matthew 1:23 - “Im” means “with us” and “El” means “mighty God” in Hebrew. Jesus is the mighty God with us. ““Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel,” which is, being interpreted, “God with us.”” (Matthew 1:23 WEBUS) God said to Adam that the day he eats of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he would surely die. Death came in because Adam sinned. Nothing is more real than the spiritual. God who is a Spirit, brought forth the material world. Romans 8:31 - God is for us. Nothing can be against us. We can rest in God’s love as He is taking care of us. “What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 WEBUS) 18 December 2022 - Seek Christ And Receive His Love - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Mark NgNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Mark Ng preached a timely reminder for us not to seek individual breakthroughs, but to seek Christ. When we do that and rest in God’s love for us, all blessings will pursue us! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Angels From The Realms Of Glory - James Montgomery 2. Beautiful Savior - Planetshakers 3. King Of Heaven - New Creation Worship 4. You Laid Aside Your Majesty - Noel Richards Be journey-focused, not destination focused. Enjoy the journey while you’re on the way to the destination. Stop and smell the roses. Stress comes from self-condemnation. Matthew 1:21 - Jesus was born to be our Savior to save us from our sins. “She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”” (Matthew 1:21 WEBUS) Romans 8:3 - Jesus has condemned sins (in Greek it is the noun “hamartia”) at the cross. “For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,” (Romans 8:3 WEBUS) Romans 6:6 - We must learn to awaken to the truth that we are the righteousness of God in Christ. We are a new creation in Christ. Our old man is no more. It was crucified with Jesus at the cross. We must believe this truth and not be steered by our feelings. God sees us as in Christ Jesus. We are hidden in Christ. “knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.” (Romans 6:6 WEBUS) 11 December 2022 - Prepare Your Heart For God’s Wealth Transfer - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince prophesied that there is a wealth transfer happening in these end times, and taught us how to prepare our hearts to receive and steward the wealth for God’s glory! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. O Come All Ye Faithful - C. Frederick Oakeley 2. Kings of Kings - Hillsong Music 3. Praise The Lord For He Is Good - New Creation Worship 4. God You’re So Good - Brett Younker 5. Supply - New Creation Worship Pastor Prince said the whole world is in a global recession right now and it’s going to get worse. Rest in the Father’s love and learn from Him how to prosper in times of famine. God’s people will come into prominence during times of famine. We demonstrate God’s ability to provide in the midst of darkness, not light. Genesis 41:33, 39-40 - This was the wisdom that God gave to Joseph during his time. ““Now therefore let Pharaoh look for a discreet and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt…Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has shown you all of this, there is no one so discreet and wise as you. You shall be over my house. All my people will be ruled according to your word. Only in the throne I will be greater than you.”” (Genesis 41:33, 39-40 WEBUS) Genesis 13:3-4 - For Abram, the God-given wisdom was a coming back to where he fell from. Abram lied about Sarai only being his sister and he had to come clean about it. He then went back to the altar he made for the Lord. “He went on his journeys from the South as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai, to the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first. There Abram called on Yahweh’s name.” (Genesis 13:3-4 WEBUS) Genesis 12:10 - The famine during Abraham’s time was severe. Isaac was told to sow during the time of famine. Tithing seems to be putting money into dry ground, but it is actually good ground. “There was a famine in the land. Abram went down into Egypt to live as a foreigner there, for the famine was severe in the land.” (Genesis 12:10 WEBUS) Matthew 6:21 - Wherever you put your seed (money) in, your heart will follow. “for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21 WEBUS) Genesis 26:12-14 - Sow and you will reap a harvest. God is encouraging us that sowing will surely lead to a harvest. To the world, only they are allowed to prosper, but Christians should be poor. They will be jealous and criticize. “Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year one hundred times what he planted. Yahweh blessed him. The man grew great, and grew more and more until he became very great. He had possessions of flocks, possessions of herds, and a great household. The Philistines envied him.” (Genesis 26:12-14 WEBUS) Luke 6:38 - If Jesus didn’t want to encourage us to believe that when we give we will reap a harvest, then why would He describe it in such detail? “Running over” means much more than enough. You are blessed and empowered to be a blessing to others. ““Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you.”” (Luke 6:38 WEBUS) 2 Chronicles 26:5 - Seeking the Lord is linked to receiving prosperity. “He set himself to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the vision of God; and as long as he sought Yahweh, God made him prosper.” (2 Chronicles 26:5 WEBUS) 2 Corinthians 5:21 - We have become the righteousness of God in Christ. “For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21 WEBUS) James 5:16 -Our prayers are effective because we are righteous in Christ. “Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.” (James 5:16 WEBUS) 4 December 2022 - Filled With The Spirit As You Praise - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence LimNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lawrence Lim taught us how to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit. When we praise the Lord, we receive power, wisdom, and the blessings of God! Praise and worship songs performed:
Ephesians 5:15-21 - We need to be careful about how we live our lives. The days are evil so we need to walk wisely. “Filled” is in the present passive imperative tense. The Amplified Bible translates it as “ever be filled with the Holy Spirit”. You can keep on being filled with the Holy Spirit when you sing praises to God. Give thanks in all things. God will make all things work together for our good. We praise God who is good, not our circumstances. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive humility and wisdom. “Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.” (Ephesians 5:15-21 WEBUS) We can learn something from anyone and anything. Don’t feel entitled as though the world owes you anything. 1 Samuel 16:14-16 - Even the servants knew that anointed music has the power to drive away the evil spirit. “Now Yahweh’s Spirit departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from Yahweh troubled him. Saul’s servants said to him, “See now, an evil spirit from God troubles you. Let our Lord now command your servants who are in front of you to seek out a man who is a skillful player on the harp. Then when the evil spirit from God is on you, he will play with his hand, and you will be well.”” (1 Samuel 16:14-16 WEBUS) 1 Samuel 16:21-23 - Music is God’s gift to man. It can refresh you. God will impart wisdom to you when you are refreshed. “David came to Saul and stood before him. He loved him greatly; and he became his armor bearer. Saul sent to Jesse, saying, “Please let David stand before me, for he has found favor in my sight.” When the spirit from God was on Saul, David took the harp and played with his hand; so Saul was refreshed and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.” (1 Samuel 16:21-23 WEBUS) 2 Kings 3:9-19 - Elisha didn’t want to help Ahab because Ahab was evil. But for Jehoshaphat’s sake, he was willing to help. Elisha understood that when anointed music is played, the prophetic word of the Lord will come. “So the king of Israel went with the king of Judah and the king of Edom, and they marched for seven days along a circuitous route. There was no water for the army or for the animals that followed them. The king of Israel said, “Alas! For Yahweh has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab.” But Jehoshaphat said, “Isn’t there a prophet of Yahweh here, that we may inquire of Yahweh by him?” One of the king of Israel’s servants answered, “Elisha the son of Shaphat, who poured water on the hands of Elijah, is here.” Jehoshaphat said, “Yahweh’s word is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him. Elisha said to the king of Israel, “What have I to do with you? Go to the prophets of your father, and to the prophets of your mother.” The king of Israel said to him, “No, for Yahweh has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab.” Elisha said, “As Yahweh of Armies lives, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I respect the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward you, nor see you. But now bring me a musician.” When the musician played, Yahweh’s hand came on him. He said, “Yahweh says, ‘Make this valley full of trenches.’ For Yahweh says, ‘You will not see wind, neither will you see rain, yet that valley will be filled with water, and you will drink, both you and your livestock and your other animals. This is an easy thing in Yahweh’s sight. He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand. You shall strike every fortified city and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all springs of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.’”” (2 Kings 3:9-19 WEBUS) |
