10 October 2021 - Vengeance is Not Here Yet - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince debunked the erroneous teachings which say that we are in the beginning stages of the Tribulation. He also showed the difference between the Rapture and the Day of the Lord (Second Coming). Don’t miss out on this clear teaching about end-time prophecy! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. I Sing Hosanna - New Creation Worship 2. 10,000 Reasons - Matt Redman 3. Here I Bow - Bethel Music 1 Corinthians 1:21 - It is the preaching of God’s word that saves us from Hell, temporal troubles, sicknesses, and all kinds of evil. This is God’s way of delivering His goods. “For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn’t know God, it was God’s good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.” (1 Corinthians 1:21 WEB) Galatians 1:6 - Any gospel other than the grace of Christ is a different, false gospel. Paul pronounced a double curse upon anyone who preaches a false gospel. “I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”;” (Galatians 1:6 WEB) God is not into behavior modification, but heart transformation. Holiness is the fruit, but Grace is the root. Job 38:11 - God can stop the pandemic at any time. He stopped the SARS pandemic. It is like how God spoke to the waves and told them to come no further. God works in 3’s. Perhaps He will stop the pandemic when it has gone on for 3 years. The Tribulation will last for 7 years: 3 and a half years of Tribulation, and 3 and a half years of Great Tribulation. “and said, ‘Here you may come, but no further. Here your proud waves shall be stayed?’” (Job 38:11 WEB) Judges 14:14 - The carcass of the lion that Samson talks about in his riddle is a picture of the devil who goes about as a roaring lion. God can bring something good out of this pandemic which the devil meant for evil. “He said to them, “Out of the eater came out food. Out of the strong came out sweetness.” They couldn’t in three days declare the riddle.” (Judges 14:14 WEB) 2 Corinthians 5:17 - Celebrate the fact that your “old man” (the sinful part of you) has already been crucified with Christ. You rose with Christ and are now a new creation. “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB) Psalm 110:1 - All enemies have been defeated at the cross. We will experience this victory more and more with every passing day. If physical death is the last enemy, then sickness and every other enemy will be put under Jesus’ feet first. “Yahweh says to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet.”” (Psalms 110:1 WEB) Ephesians 2:6 - Whatever Christ did was not for Himself. He did it for us. “and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,” (Ephesians 2:6 WEB) Adam was the federal head of mankind, but he lost that position and caused death to enter into the world. Jesus has become the federal head of the new creation. He is the Second Adam that brings eternal life and wholeness.

1 August 2021 - The Third Day Generation - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and we are in the Lord’s third day. Jesus’ return is imminent, and even if He tarries, you can expect to live a long, healthy life. You will see God’s glory when you roll away the stone of the Ten Commandments from your life! Praise and Worship Songs Performed: 1. This Is Our God - New Creation Worship 2. In The Name - Lakewood Church 3. My King - New Creation Worship 4. As He Is So Are We - New Creation Worship When God gives the message to Pastor Prince each week, He emphasizes to him about sharing His love with the church. God wants us to know how much He loves us. Pastors are shepherds who are supposed to feed God’s sheep, not beat them. 1 John 5:16 - There is a certain kind of sin that causes years of life to be ‘chopped off’ from a person’s lifespan. You can pray for that person. “If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death. I don’t say that he should make a request concerning this.” (1 John 5:16 WEB) 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 - The generation of believers who will be “alive and remaining” during the Rapture are those who have a revelation that allows them to keep death at bay. “For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” (I Thessalonians 4:15-17 NKJV) Pastor Prince believes that we are the generation that will see Jesus’ return while we are alive and remaining. Daniel 5:23 - God holds our breath in His hands. If God lifts His hand of protection, we would experience attacks from the enemy like sickness and death. “but have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before you, and you and your lords, your wives and your concubines, have drunk wine from them; and you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which don’t see, nor hear, nor know; and the God in whose hand your breath is, and whose are all your ways, you have not glorified.” (Daniel 5:23 WEB) Some people say that you should only teach what you have experienced. You should preach by revelation, not by experience. The apostle Paul did not experience the Rapture during his lifetime but he still taught on it. Psalm 90:9-11 - This does not mean that our lifespan is only supposed to be seventy to eighty years. The context is about the children of Israel who wandered in the wilderness under God’s wrath. “For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh. The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away. Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?” (Psalms 90:9-11 WEB) 2 Corinthians 3:6-9 - Before the Law was given, no one from the children of Israel died between Egypt and Mount Sinai. However, after the Law was given, people started dying. The Law is the ministry of death. The emphasis of the Law is man-focused. The Ten Commandments was the only part of the Law that was engraved on stones (in Greek: lithos). There was glory in the Law, but the glory of the New Covenant of Grace exceeds much more in glory. All believers are ministers. Be a minister of righteousness, not of condemnation. “who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.” (II Corinthians 3:6-9 NKJV) Acts 2:11 - The emphasis of Grace is God-focused. When you pray in tongues, you are praising God beyond the human vocabulary. When you pray in tongues, you edify yourself—your entire being. It even builds your body up. “Cretans and Arabians: we hear them speaking in our languages the mighty works of God!”” (Acts 2:11 WEB) Psalm 91:16 - God wants us to live long so that we can testify about Jesus. “I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.”” (Psalms 91:16 WEB) The Law was designed to cut short the lives of evildoers. The children of Israel boasted that they would do all that God commands them (even before hearing the commandments). Almost immediately after, they made and worshipped a golden calf. They did not intend to sin, but the Law stirred up the sin in their flesh. Three thousand people from the children of Israel died at the foot of Mount Sinai that day. Romans 10:4 - We are no longer under the Law, but under Grace. We are saved by believing in Jesus. “For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”(Romans 10:4 WEB) The name “Methuselah” means “his death will bring”. He was the longest-living man (969 years). God designed it such that when Methuselah dies, the flood would come. People at that time lived long lives and they were not conscious of death. The Law was not yet given either. 12 Apr 2020 - Sit and See your Enemies Defeated by God - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesGod will give you victory over your enemies—you only need to rest in your position in Christ. Your spirit man is seated with Him in Heaven, far above all principalities and powers. Don’t be afraid of lack—just see the supply by faith and walk with the Holy Spirit, one step at a time. Praise and Worship Songs Performed: 1. Anthem of Grace - New Creation Worship 2. My King - New Creation Worship 3. Forgiven Much - New Creation Worship 4. How Great Thou Art When there is a sermon in the Book of Acts recorded for us, the emphasis is on Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. Jesus was not resurrected to die again like Lazarus or the widow’s son. He was raised in a new body, never to die again. The Rapture refers to “harpazo” which is the snatching away of the church. It is a mystery revealed to the church. In the twinkling of an eye, we will be changed and be caught up to meet our Lord Jesus in the air. There will be no trace of sin in our new glorified bodies. Paul said “those who are alive and remain” twice. It is one thing to be alive, and another to remain. To remain denotes power. In the last days, the church will have the revelation that they can remain alive until Jesus’ return. Elderly Simeon in the temple was promised that he would not see death until his eyes see the appearing of Israel’s salvation (Yeshua). “So much the more as you see the Day approaching” means that this coronavirus pandemic will end and we will be able to gather physically to worship God as a church again before Jesus’ return. Matthew 24:36-39 - This passage implies the idea of crowds and gatherings before Jesus returns for His church. This means that the coronavirus pandemic will end. Pastor Prince believes that this passage cannot be referring to the Second Coming of Christ because once the Tribulation begins, you can count 7 years to predict when Jesus will return again. So this passage is talking about the Rapture. “But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only. “As the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ship, and they didn’t know until the flood came, and took them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.” (Matthew 24:36-39 WEB) God has released a new ‘strain’ of anointing and healing for His people. The devil released the coronavirus as a counterattack—the devil tries to play catch up to what God does. As a spirit being, the devil can see what God is doing, but he doesn’t know the future. Anything that is visible and tangible is temporal. With God, the things that are invisible are eternal. God’s spiritual blessings produces that which is material and temporal. Psalms 91:1-2 - The word “dwells” comes from the Hebrew word “yeshav” which means to sit. You cannot remove yourself from the secret place of the Most High, because the secret place is being in Christ Jesus. You are seated with Christ in the heavenly places. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”” (Psalms 91:1-2 WEB) Ephesians 2:4-7 - You have a special interest in Jesus’ resurrection, because what happened to Him also happened to you. Your history in Christ begins at the cross. Your “old man” was crucified there with Him. To your experience, the old man seems to be still here, but to God and faith, it is gone. We have been raised far above all principalities and powers, including the coronavirus. Our identity is in Christ Jesus. For God to remove us from Christ is to remove Christ Himself—it’s impossible that this will happen. Jesus is our righteousness. He is the measure of our righteousness. Grace is not just a dispensation. Grace will continue forever. There is a “show” coming and you’ve never seen any show like it before. God will present the riches of His grace to us in the ages to come. God doesn’t want you to just mentally know that you’re seated with Christ. “Use” the secret place of the Most High by actively resting in Christ and believing that you’re seated far above all principalities and powers. How can we be seated with Christ now if we are still here on earth? God is outside of time and space. That’s why Jesus could die for the sins of the world throughout time. The cross is outside time. Your spirit man is now seated outside of time, with Christ in the heavenly places. We are tripartite beings—spirit, soul and body. “But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus;” (Ephesians 2:4-7 WEB) When a believer dies, it’s not really death but “falling asleep”. He steps out of his body immediately, being more alive than before since the encumbrance of his sinful flesh is gone. Proverbs 18:14 - A Jewish rabbi, Yonatan Ben Uzziel translated the oral law—the books of the prophets Malachi, Zechariah and Haggai. In the first century AD, he translated the word “sickness” in the verse below as “coronei” in Aramaic which is also corona/crown. The word sustain in Hebrew is “cul” which means to protect or defend. A man’s spirit will protect him from “corona”. This is prophetic of our times. When you rest in Christ, that's faith, and you're protected from the coronavirus. Our spirit man is seated with Christ in heavenly places. God wants us to rise up higher and see from His perspective. You’re seated with Christ, so Abba God is just on your left hand. Pray knowing that God is so close to you. You don’t have to ‘bombard the gates of Heaven’ with your prayers because you’re not outside Heaven. “A man’s spirit will sustain him in sickness, but a crushed spirit, who can bear?” (Proverbs 18:14 WEB) Bible Evidence for Pre-Tribulation RaptureThere is a lot of debating going on online about the sequence of end-time events and whether the Rapture will happen before, during or after the Great Tribulation. In case you’re unfamiliar with the terms, let me explain what is the Rapture and what is the Great Tribulation. The name “Rapture” is not found in the Bible, but is a term coined by believers to refer to this event: “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we tell you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left to the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.” (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 WEB) The Great Tribulation is a future period of 7 years of great suffering on earth due to the tyrannical rule of an evil global dictator called the Antichrist, and also God’s judgment and wrath being poured out into the world: “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” (Matthew 24:21-22 NKJV) These “elect” are not us. It’s talking about the people who become believers during the Great Tribulation. They are “elect” and not “saints” because they don’t have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside them. The Great Tribulation is shortened to only 7 years because if it dragged on longer than that, the elect would give up and renounce their faith in desperation. During the Great Tribulation, salvation is not "once saved always saved". Only those who endure in their faith in Jesus to the end without taking the Mark of the Beast will be saved. 15 October 2017 - The Blood of Jesus Marks Us for Blessings - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineThe worst thing for the personification of love is if He cannot express His overflowing love. In Greek, the word for “worship” is “Proscuneo” which literally means come close to kiss. The cross of Jesus did not make God good. God was already good. It’s not right to believe that God is angry and Jesus is good. God’s goodness was hindered, thwarted, held back because of man’s sin. Remember John 3:16 - it was God that sent Jesus into the world to save us. God never gave up on His dream of having a family. When God wanted many sons, He gave us His only begotten Son. Until you can appreciate the extent of God's judgment that Jesus suffered for us on the cross, you cannot appreciate the depths of God’s love. Revelation 20:10-15 - The devil hates it when these verses are read. When the devil is gone, Jesus will rule and there will be no more sickness or disease. As believers, our names are in the Book of Life. Those who do not receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior during their lifetime will be assessed judicially according to their works. None of them will escape judgment. “The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:10-15 NKJV) John 5:24 - A believer can never come into judgement. If any sermons/books/media teach that a believer can be condemned to hell, chuck it aside. Believe in Jesus’ own words! When a believer dies, the spirit is taken out of the body right before the moment of pain, and then he/she becomes more alive than before. ““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” (John 5:24 NKJV) The judgment seat of Christ is actually not a place of condemnation or judgment for sin. It should be interpreted as the Bema Seat of Christ, a place where believers receive their rewards and positions in heaven from Jesus. It is where believers receive their eternal rewards and we will already be standing at the Bema Seat of Christ in our glorified bodies after the Rapture. 24 September 2017 - Experience Jubilee in These End Times - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineJubilee is not for the world. The world will get worse and worse. Isaiah 59:21-60:2 - Praying in tongues can only happen under grace. It is a unique gift in the New Covenant of grace. Under the Old Covenant, no one prays in tongues. You cannot pray in tongues and be legalistic. When we pray in tongues, the glory of the Lord will be seen upon us. The Lord will bring your sons and daughters back to you if they have left home. Restoration of family relationships. There will be a wealth transfer (financial provision) in these last days. The Gentiles work to accumulate the wealth and God passes to whoever He sees as righteous in His eyes, which are believers like us. ““As for Me,” says the LORD, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the LORD, “from this time and forevermore.” “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.” The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. “Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; Your sons shall come from afar, And your daughters shall be nursed at your side. Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.” (Isaiah 59:21-60:5 NKJV) 18 April 2017 - Win Over Fear and Pride - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineAll over the world, God is moving. God is a good God. He cares for and loves people. God wants you to share what you have with many others. It's for the kingdom of God. Don't become a Dead Sea - there is an inlet but there is no outlet - only receiving and not giving. Be like the thriving Sea of Galilee - give and share with others the finances, gifts and blessings that we have received from God. Have Christ's interest in your heart - sow into His kingdom. There is no time and space with the anointing. Jesus compressed time in one instant and turned water into the best wine at the wedding in Cana - Jesus is the Lord of Time. Jesus healed the nobleman's son from a distance also in Cana - Jesus is the Lord of Space. Even if it's a sermon that Pastor Prince preached 5 years ago, it's still for you today. Miracles are not by our might or power. It's by the Holy Spirit. II Thessalonians 1:6-10 - It would be righteous for God to trouble those who trouble you. That's why we should pray for those who trouble us. Grace is not something cheap. The fire of God fell on the Victim at the cross, because Jesus loves us. If someone makes a mockery of that, the Day is coming when Jesus comes back for Israel in flaming fire, taking vengeance on such people. This is not for believers, this is talking about the Second Coming of Christ. This Christ-rejecting world will be punished with everlasting destruction. Grace is the gospel. It's called the gospel of grace and peace. In this Age of Grace, judgments that we see happening to people happens when they try to hinder the gospel of grace. If you reject grace, there's no other provision for you. Some grace preachers teach that there is no hell. They are universalists. They say that hell is temporary and that it is restorative. No, the only place for holy fire to burn anything bad off is here on earth. Jesus is coming back as Judge to judge the guilty world. "Everlasting" is "aionios" in Greek which means eternal. When someone is sentenced to the lake of fire, it is for eternity. It is not possible for a believer to renounce Jesus and his/her salvation. A sinner cannot renounce the devil or his/her sinfulness even if he/she wanted to. Sinners sin because they are sinners. God loves you, but God is also holy and he cannot allow sin to enter His presence. We are sinners because of Adam's sin. But by one Man's obedience (Jesus), we are made righteous. What the Last Adam (Jesus) did is more powerful than what the First Adam did. Nothing is so secure as to know that Jesus' word is perfect and His word is sure. “since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.” (II Thessalonians 1:6-10 NKJV) 22 Feb 2017 – The Rapture is Your Blessed Hope in Dark Times – Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online – New Creation Church Midweek Service Sermon Notes OnlineTaste and see that the Lord is good. It is for us to experience and enjoy. It’s not just a concept, it’s a reality. God’s goodness will lead us to repentance. His goodness, if experienced first, will bring us to victory. Under the Old Covenant you have to repent before you see God’s goodness. Today, God says “Take as much as you can”. Even the capacity to receive His goodness, is goodness itself. Take God’s goodness first and you will repent without realizing it. The devil is outplaying his hand – By causing the focus to be on Israel in these last days, he is actually fulfilling Bible prophecy. Jesus said “your house is left to you desolate”. About 40 years after that, the Romans came in, destroyed the temple, and the Jews were scattered to the four corners of the earth. The Bible says that the Jews will come back again as a nation. We have seen Israel come back as a nation in our generation. God wants us to realize and to be alerted to the fact that we are in the last days. The Lord is our Bridegroom and He is coming back for us (His bride). Before the worst happens, the Lord will come back for us. The Great Tribulation is coming. It is also called the time of Jacob’s trouble. Many people are confused as to whether the Rapture will happen pre-Trib, mid-Trib or post-Trib. Some people say that they are “pan-Trib” – what does that mean? It means it will all pan out. That shows ignorance. The Lord doesn’t want us to be ignorant about His coming. After Jesus died, Mary Magdalene didn’t believe that Jesus rose from the dead, but she loved Him. Like Mary, we got to have a heart of love for Jesus. It’s better to have a heart full of love without having perfectly correct doctrine, than a mind full of Bible knowledge but with a heart as cold as ice. King Herod asked the Chief Priests and the Scribes where the Messiah will be born. They told the king that the Prophet Nahum said that the Messiah will be born in Bethlehem Ephratah. They used Bible knowledge to come against the Lord. Why do we want Bible knowledge? To tell our friends that we have more information than them? That’s pride. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. The Lord can teach those with a heart of love and take care of their doctrine. 27 November 2016 - Heaven Focuses on Redemption And Not on Creation - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineOur Heavenly Father loves us even as He loves the Lord Jesus. If two of us gather in Jesus' name (2 is the smallest majority), there Jesus is in the midst. The church of Jesus Christ is God's greatest dream. The Lord Jesus was always with the Father, even before He came to earth. The Book of Genesis is the book of beginning. The book of Genesis describes the lives of four men as head figures: Adam Noah Abraham is the key figure. God is called the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Joseph (The book of Genesis ends with Joseph). In the four gospels, it takes four writers to talk about One Man, Jesus. When God talks about creation, there is only one chapter. When God talks about redemption, there are many chapters. God did not put redemption as an afterthought. Creation is the servant of redemption. God had in His heart redemption all the while. We are blessed when we study on redemption, because heaven is focused on redemption. When you talk about redemption, all of heaven's focus is on you. Heaven's focus is not on the great, the accomplished or the wealthy. Heaven's focus is on the shepherds, the lowly virgin, etc. 7 August 2016 - Holy Communion: The Eucharist that Brings Health and Wholeness (Part 2) - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineThe Bible says to pray and to make intercession for all who are in authority, so that we can live quiet and peaceable lives. In many parts of the world, common sense doesn't reign anymore. We know what's right in our hearts. Don't allow others to force you into accepting what is wrong. Gluttony is wrong because it destroys your body. God wants you to live long. For this reason - a singular reason, many are weak, sick and fall asleep before their time. That reason is that they don't distinguish the Lord's body - they don't distinguish between the bread and the cup. You don't partake of the holy communion in order to be forgiven. You partake to celebrate and give thanks for what has already been done. It's Eucharistic in nature. Psalms 22:17 - Most criminals would go straight to the cross. But because of Pontius Pilate's miscalculation, Jesus went through both scourging and crucifixion. Psalms 22, a Messianic Psalm reveals that Jesus was scourged so bad that His bones were exposed. “I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me.” (Psalms 22:17 NKJV) When you declare that you are healed of your sickness or disease, call the condition by name and declare that by Jesus' stripes, you are healed! Don't rush through it. Genesis 14:18-20 - Melchizedek is the King of Shalom. Shalom is not just peace, but it's also wholeness and completeness - it includes freedom from sickness and disease. Jesus was always healing and cleansing people while He was on earth because He is the King of Shalom. "God Most High" is "El Elyon" in Hebrew - this is the first mention of this name of God. Melchizedek said what He said to Abraham so that we know that God possesses both the heavens and the earth. Many have tried to take possession over the heavens and the earth, but all have failed. Only One will succeed, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ when He comes back to rule on earth. What did Melchizedek (who represents Jesus) say to the King of Sodom (who represents the devil)? Nothing! He completely ignored him. That's the posture we should have as believers. Don't give your credit, glory and weight to the devil. Just ignore him. Abraham knew that when he tithed he would become rich. The Hebrew word for "rich" which is "ashar" is in the Hebrew word for "tithe" which is "asar". “Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all.” (Genesis 14:18-20 NKJV) |
