26 May 2019 - Prosper Through the Tithe - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPraise and Worship songs performed:
To have a successful ministry, you have to build them on this Tripod: 1) The Lord Jesus Christ, 2) The local church, 3) Israel. Love your wife in a self-sacrificial way. Your eyes must be on Christ, not on your wife. Sometimes your husband is not very easy to submit to, or your wife is not very lovable, but do it as unto the Lord, and the Lord will reward you. Even to your employer, submit as unto the Lord, except for moral issues, if he asks you to lie, cheat or something. Jesus recognizes local churches. Jesus spoke individual messages to the seven churches of Asia — He didn’t speak just one universal message to the whole universal church. In Ezekiel’s Millennial temple, you will enter it one way, and exit by another way. When you come to God’s house, you will never leave the same. In the local church, not everyone is sent, some just go without being sent. When you are sent, there is authority backing you up. Like the centurion, he was a man under authority, so he also had authority.

26 August 2018 - The Tenth Sanctifies the Whole - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPraise and Worship songs performed: (I may have missed out songs before this)
This message is a continuation of Pastor Prince's previous sermon "Draw the Blood Line of Protection". God has increased New Creation Church numerically, the church has increased financially, and people in the church have blossomed into families. Every time Pastor Prince is preparing for a message, he feels overwhelmed because he wants to preach the word that is from the Lord. For preachers and teachers, never preach according to people’s faces. If you have a word from the Lord, you have to release that. Preachers cannot just preach any message because the message must be from the Lord. It can’t just be scriptural - it has to be a word in season, a prophetic word. Pastor Prince had received word from the Lord to preach this message that you're reading but he felt uncomfortable to preach about the topic, so he proceeded to prepare a different message. Then at 12am, he felt like he wasn't happy about the message he had prepared, so he was obedient to prepare the original word that the Lord has for us. It's an uncomfortable topic for Pastor Prince because the message is about how to prosper, and he doesn't want to receive criticism or people labelling and condemning him as a 'prosperity preacher' who is preaching the 'prosperity gospel' or 'health and wealth gospel'. God’s is concerned about us, and it is His desire that we should prosper in every area of our lives. The word for prosper used in the Old Testament is the Hebrew word “Saliak”. If Pastor Prince preaches himself happy it’s because he has released the word that God wants him to preach. Isaiah 60:1-5 - There will be a Millennium where Christ rules on earth. Christians won’t have to hide while worshipping God. This passage is not referring to the Millennial Reign of Christ because there won’t be darkness covering the earth during that time. This passage is talking about our time. It seems like the devil knows that his time is short and that Jesus is coming back soon. Despite the deep darkness, the glory of the Lord will be visible upon us. Potiphar, a heathen, could see the glory of God upon Joseph. It’s a visible token. Familial reconciliation will take place for us too. The wealth of the Gentiles will come to us too. Study the life of Joseph because what has happened for him will happen for us too. Study the lives of Abraham and Lot - one is a victorious believer and the other a defeated believer. Which one do you want to be? “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. “Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; Your sons shall come from afar, And your daughters shall be nursed at your side. Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.” (Isaiah 60:1-5 NKJV) I Corinthians 10:11 - The Old Testament has value for us today. God has hidden great truths in it. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but it is the glory of king to search out a matter. The Old Testament is the New concealed. The New Testament is the Old revealed. Everything that happened in the Old Testament happened as an example for us. “Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.” (I Corinthians 10:11 NKJV) Romans 15:4 - Hope is a confident expectation of good. Even if you receive a negative report from the doctor, you can still have hope. Hope is seeing brightness where darkness was. When God created the earth, He saw darkness on the face of earth, and He said “Light be”. He called forth what He wanted to see. On the night of the tenth plague in Egypt, the blood of the lamb was applied on the lintel and the doorposts, outside the house. The blood of Christ is not for us to see, it’s for God to see. Even if we don't feel the protection of the blood of Christ on us, it is still as effective because God sees it. Only God can correctly estimate the value and preciousness of the blood of His Son. It’s not about how great your faith is. It’s about the greatness of the Person you’re putting your trust in. If you have trust in the right Person, even touching the hem of that Person is enough for you to be healed. The work of Christ on the cross makes you safe, but it is the word of God (“when I see the blood I will pass over you”) that makes you sure. “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.” (Romans 15:4 NKJV) 27 August 2017 - The Truth About Tithing in the New Testament - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineYou don't have to wait for the word of knowledge or gifts of healings to flow in order to be healed. That's not the norm. The norm is to be healed as you read/listen to the word of God on your own. Create that spirit of expectancy in your heart when you're receiving prayer for divine healing. The anointing oil is also a way to be healed. Positive thinking is good but it will not bring you the miracle of God. You need a point of contact with Jesus, like all the ways mentioned above. The priests in the Old Testament were busy, busy, busy and their work was never done. However, Jesus, with one sacrifice, sat down at the right hand of the Father forever. Our Father does not desire burnt offerings like in the Old Covenant - that's just a shadow of the substance. Jesus' finished work at the cross is the substance. All our sins have been forgiven by that one work on the cross. God is not confined in time and space. God looks at our entire life and sees that our sins have been removed. Foundations of Christianity:
When believers die, they feel even more alive and will be perpetually happy. The encumbrance of the flesh is gone. When Jesus died, I died with Him. When Jesus rose from the dead, I rose with Him. When Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father, I sat down with Him. That's true Christianity. 16 November 2014 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online on Tithing - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online on Tithing - We Don't Have to Tithe, We Get to Tithe!Prophetic Word from Pastor Prince: Upcoming financial earthquake in 2015 that will affect the world. However, whenever the world experiences a downturn, the experience an upturn! Nothing catches God by surprise. There is a theory whereby every 7 years, on the year of rest, there will be a global financial crisis. How a financial crisis affects you depends whether you are Egyptian (Gentile) or Israelite (in this context, Church). It is a transfer of wealth from Egyptian to Israelite. God sees three groups of people on earth: Jew, Gentile, or Church. Hebrews 5:1 - A high priest is appointed for Man's interest, to God. A prophet's role is for God, to Man. There are no more sacrifices for sins left, besides Jesus's sacrifice on the cross, but we still offer gifts. "For every high priest taken from among men is appointed on behalf of men in things pertaining to God, in order to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins;" (Hebrews 5:1 NASB) Prayer is the only thing that puts God in its proper place as Giver, and man in its proper place as receiver. You have not because you ask not. God wants us as believers to activate our covenant with God by praying to Him. Hebrew 5:10-11 - Melchizedek is only mentioned thrice in the Bible - in the book of Genesis, Psalms and Hebrews. However, He is extremely significant as pointed out by Paul, and is a typification of Jesus Christ, our High Priest forever. Jesus's priesthood is forever according to the order of Melchizedek. "being designated by God as a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek. Concerning him we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing." (Hebrews 5:10, 11 NASB) A lot of grace preachers say that you don't have to tithe, neither do they believe in healing. Grace is not just a truth, it is THE truth. Grace is not a doctrine, it is the person of Jesus Christ. When you come to Jesus for salvation, you come with empty hands. When you come to God for worship, come with your hands full. Abraham gave the tithe to Melchizedek as his testament to the provision of victory given to him from God. Abraham was never under the Law. Luke 11:42 - Jesus does not look at how much you give, He looks at what you hold back. He looks at the attitude of your heart when you give. ""But woe to you Pharisees! For you pay tithe of mint and rue and every kind of garden herb, and yet disregard justice and the love of God; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others." (Luke 11:42 NASB) |
