Milton Goh (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Chibi Milton Home Android application (“the App”).

Chibi Milton Home is a home-management utility application featuring Chibi Milton Universe characters and interactive experiences. The App includes home inventory management, warranty information storage, budgeting and expense tracking, PDF exporting, Backup & Restore, Daily Reveals, and the interactive My Garden experience.

1. Information Stored in the App

Chibi Milton Home allows you to enter and store information for your own personal use. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

household inventory information;
information about household items, devices, and possessions;
warranty information;
purchase information;
budget categories and budget amounts;
expense records;
photos and documents you choose to associate with your records;
App settings;
My Garden progress and unlock information; and
other information you voluntarily enter into the App.

This information is used to provide the App's functionality to you.

2. Local Storage

During normal App operation, information you enter into Chibi Milton Home remains stored locally on your device.

The App uses local Android storage technologies, including a Room database, DataStore, and app-private files.

Chibi Milton Home does not silently upload your household information, inventory, warranties, budgets, expenses, photos, documents, or related records to us or to a developer-operated server.

We do not operate a Chibi Milton Home cloud account or cloud database containing this information.

3. No Automatic Android Cloud Backup

Chibi Milton Home disables Android's automatic application backup functionality.

The App is configured with:

android:allowBackup="false"

As a result, the App's local Room database, DataStore information, and private media are not automatically backed up to your Google account through Android's standard App Backup functionality.

This is separate from Chibi Milton Home's user-controlled Backup & Restore feature described below.

4. Backup & Restore

Chibi Milton Home provides a manual Backup & Restore feature.

When you explicitly choose to create a backup, the App can export App data as a ZIP file using Android's system document picker.

You choose where that backup file is saved.

Depending on the applications and storage providers installed or available on your device, Android's document picker may allow you to select a location such as:

local device storage;
Google Drive;
Dropbox; or
another third-party document or cloud-storage provider.

If you choose an external or cloud-storage provider, the exported backup is provided to the destination that you selected. The handling of that file by the selected provider is subject to that provider's own privacy policy and terms.

Chibi Milton Home does not automatically select a cloud provider or silently upload backups.

You are responsible for protecting exported backup files because they may contain information you previously entered into the App.

5. PDF Export

Chibi Milton Home allows you to generate and export information as PDF files.

PDFs are saved using Android's system document picker. You choose the destination for the exported file.

If you select an external or cloud document provider, that provider will receive the PDF you have chosen to save there.

Exported PDFs may contain information you previously entered into Chibi Milton Home. You should therefore take appropriate precautions when storing, transmitting, or sharing exported PDFs.

6. Budget and Expense Information

Chibi Milton Home provides budgeting and expense-tracking tools for personal household organization.

The App does not connect to your:

bank accounts;
credit or debit cards;
financial institutions;
investment accounts; or
payment accounts.

The App does not contact bank APIs or financial-service providers to obtain your financial information.

Budget and expense information that you manually enter remains locally stored during normal App operation unless you explicitly export it through an available export or backup feature.

Chibi Milton Home does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or other professional financial advice.

7. Home Inventory and Warranty Information

The App allows you to maintain records relating to your household possessions and warranties.

Depending on what you choose to enter, these records may include product information, purchase details, warranty periods, photos, documents, notes, and related information.

This information is intended for your personal organization and reference.

8. My Garden, Daily Reveals, and App Progress

Chibi Milton Home includes interactive Chibi Milton Universe experiences such as My Garden and Daily Reveals.

Certain visual elements and experiences may unlock as you use features of the App, reach milestones, or continue using the App over time.

Information required to remember this progress and your unlocked content is stored locally on your device.

9. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

Chibi Milton Home does not currently contain:

Google Analytics;
Firebase Analytics;
Firebase Crashlytics;
AdMob;
third-party advertising SDKs;
attribution SDKs;
third-party analytics SDKs; or
third-party crash-reporting SDKs.

We do not use your household inventory, warranty, budget, expense, photo, document, or App-usage information for targeted advertising.

The App does not contain advertising.

10. Network Access

Chibi Milton Home itself does not make HTTP requests or communicate with a developer-operated backend.

The App does not request Android's INTERNET permission.

The App does not connect to a cloud database, analytics service, advertising service, banking API, or developer-hosted server during normal operation.

The App contains links to:

These links are opened through Android's standard external-browser functionality when you explicitly choose to open them.

The websites are not loaded inside Chibi Milton Home itself. Once you choose to open an external website, your browser and the destination website operate according to their respective privacy practices.

Similarly, a third-party document or cloud-storage provider may use network access after you explicitly select that provider when exporting a backup or PDF.

11. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell the personal information you enter into Chibi Milton Home.

We do not transmit your locally stored household inventory, warranty, budget, or expense records to advertisers or data brokers.

Information is provided to an external document or storage provider only when you explicitly choose that provider as the destination for an export or backup through Android's system document picker.

12. Children's Privacy

Chibi Milton Home contains family-friendly Chibi Milton Universe characters, artwork, music, and interactive experiences. However, its inventory, warranty, budgeting, expense, and household-management features are designed as general household organization tools.

Chibi Milton Home does not operate a server that collects children's personal information through the App.

Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of devices and applications where appropriate and should ensure that children do not enter sensitive personal information into the App.

13. Data Security

Information stored in Chibi Milton Home may include details concerning your household, possessions, purchases, warranties, budgets, expenses, photos, and documents.

You should therefore protect your Android device using appropriate security measures such as a PIN, password, fingerprint, or other available device-security feature.

You should also protect any ZIP backups or PDF files that you export from the App.

No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and users should exercise appropriate care when storing sensitive information on electronic devices or with external storage providers.

14. Data Retention and Deletion

Locally stored information generally remains on your device until you delete it through available App functionality, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App.

Because Chibi Milton Home does not maintain a developer-operated server containing your locally stored household-management records, we generally cannot remotely retrieve, modify, or delete those local records for you.

Exported ZIP backups and PDFs are separate files. Deleting information from Chibi Milton Home does not necessarily delete copies that you previously exported.

If you saved an exported file to another application, device location, or cloud-storage provider, you will need to manage or delete that copy through the applicable storage location or provider.

15. Third-Party Services and External Destinations

When you intentionally leave Chibi Milton Home to visit an external website or choose a third-party storage provider through Android's document picker, your interaction with that external service is governed by its own privacy policy and terms.

We encourage you to review the privacy practices of third-party services before providing information to them.

16. Future Changes to App Functionality

Chibi Milton Home may gain additional features in the future.

If we introduce functionality that materially changes how personal information is collected, transmitted, processed, or shared—for example, cloud synchronization, user accounts, analytics, advertising, or online services—we will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Chibi Milton Home, applicable requirements, or our privacy practices.

When this Privacy Policy is updated, the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised.

We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
