Pastor Joseph Prince said that this is one of the most important messages that he will ever preach. This is a message that will keep on giving, and bless you in every area of your life. This is a message that can mean between life and death. Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds from God. God wants us to get back to the culture of keeping on hearing the word of God. He doesn't want us to continue being robbed. 1 Kings 3:8-13 - Solomon was about 17 to 20 years old at this point in time. His father had just died. King Solomon asked God for a hearing heart, and this pleased the Lord. When you ask God for a hearing heart, God will give you bonuses - even good things that you have not asked for. King Solomon was the first trillionaire in the Bible. The temple of Solomon that Solomon built is worth today about US$5 Billion. It's a simple prayer: Ask God for a hearing heart. “And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted. Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?” The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. Then God said to him: “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days.” (I Kings 3:8-13 NKJV) One of the signs that a person has received wisdom is that he/she loves to be in the house of God, and relishes the presence of God. In Psalm 51, King David said to God "Don't take your presence from me". Of all things he could ask for, he asked for that. He had wisdom. The things of the world are frothy, while the things of God are weighty. King Solomon even listened to the two prostitutes that disputed over a child. We need to hear the voice of God in our spouse, family members, and friends who care about you. There is safety in the local church. Solomon's wisdom even excelled that of Adam. Adam could name and remember all the names of the animals in the Garden of Eden. Jesus said that One greater than Solomon is here (He was referring to Himself). The secular experts say that we only use one-tenth of our brain power. The nine spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit completes the other nine-tenth! Matthew 6:25-30 - The lilies of the field are clothed from within - it is true growth, whereas Solomon's glory was external - it was added upon him. If it is all taken away, man is nothing. Jesus told us: do not worry. ““Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?” (Matthew 6:25-30 NKJV)

The Senior Pastor of New Life Church was a former leader of a gang, but he is now saved, and preaching the gospel of grace to his growing congregation! The money used for helping New Life Church is from the offerings given by the New Creation Church congregation in Singapore! 2016 is going to be "The Year Of Possessing Our Possessions". No more asking "How long more, Lord?". This is the year of salvation! People will possess the healing that they have been waiting for for so long. A testimony shared by Pastor Joseph Prince: A 24 year-old guy was bound in addiction to pornography ever since he was 14 years old. In November 2014, he heard a testimony shared by Pastor Joseph Prince of a man who was delivered from smoking, just by declaring that he is the righteousness of God in Christ. When the desire to look at pornography came, the 24 year-old guy did not try to stop himself. He knew that his own effort cannot deliver himself from his porn addiction. He confessed "I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I cannot, but Christ can." 2 months later, he had no more desire to look at pornography! He also realized that his performance at work was improving. Hallelujah! Jesus is altogether lovely. The more we look at Him, the more we will look like Him! God is not looking at you to access you. God is looking at Jesus to access you. You cannot believe the right thing and not live the right way. As a believer, you belong to the royal family. You are royalty. Walk like royalty - royalty is generous and princely, not stingy and petty. Sanctification is not just separation from, but it is separation onto. Ephesians 4:22-24 - The way to put off the old man and former conduct is to be renewed in the spirit of your mind - to have right believing. Be renewed in your understanding of who you are in Christ - God has created you in Christ as truly righteous and holy. People lie because they are afraid of man. Don't be afraid of man and what they think about you. Focus only on what God says about you. “that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:22-24 NKJV) What does it mean to sit? It means that everything is finished, and you rest. Jesus has already done everything pertaining to your righteousness. Haters will hate. If they decide to hate you, they will hate you. There is something about growing and being big that makes haters hate. Assess things in the spirit, and not by sight. Good days is always plural. When it comes to trials, the Bible says "stand in the evil day". That means that good days are plentiful but evil days are few and far between. The world is getting darker and darker. It is actually good news for the church. The church will get brighter and brighter as the world gets darker. The glory of the Lord Jesus will be even more visible in His people. In 2016 there will be more incidents of weather going berserk. Pastor Joseph Prince received three words that prophesy what will happen this year: blood, fire and flood. He believes it refers to physical bloodshed, fire and flooding and not a spiritual interpretation. The Bible says that our God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. On this side of heaven, we can receive everything that Jesus died to give us. The only thing we are waiting for is our new spiritual bodies that will come during the Rapture. The Rapture will happen so quickly, and Hollywood will say that it was due to alien abduction, etc. The first thing that will happen during the Rapture is that we will receive our new spiritual bodies that will last forever and never grow old. The Bible says that Israel would be scattered to the four corners of the earth until they are brought back together. In AD70, Jerusalem was invaded and the Second Temple was destroyed. Every generation believes that they are the end-time generation. But Jerusalem has to be under the foot of the Gentiles first (Jerusalem was under the rule of the Romans, and other empires), and be back in their land first before the Rapture can happen. In the 6 Day War in 1967, although Jerusalem was surrounded and outnumbered, God gave them the victory in 6 days. Now we see that Jerusalem is back in the hand of the Jews. We have seen two world wars and huge increase in frequency of earthquakes. We are the end-times generation! Jesus said don't look down but look up, because redemption is near! Grapes and wine represents joy. Now in Israel there are huge clusters of grapes that are growing. Through this, God is saying that the pleasures of His land is bigger and greater than all the lands of Egypt (the world). The joys of God far surpasses what the world can provide. The joys and pleasures that the world provides are just perversions of what God has created. God says that everywhere that you tread upon, you will take possession of it. Step by step, you will possess your possessions. Pastor Prince shared a testimony of how someone possessed her healing: This woman's husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer. They checked up on what God's word said about healing and they purchased Pastor Prince's resources and watched two regularly called "Condemnation Kills" and "Health and Wholeness Through the Holy Communion". They partook of Holy Communion regularly. After 3 years, the huge tumor that was the size of an orange fell off the husband's body. Remember that at Kardesh Barnea everything changed for the children of Israel. The children of Israel spent 40 years in the wilderness. They walked for 2 years with God, and after Kardesh Barnea, they wandered in the wilderness for 38 years. The name "Egypt" in Hebrew means "double straits / stress". God wanted to bring His people into a big, fruitful land. The devil and his cohorts (in this case, the children of Anak - the giants [Anakim] ) are occupying the promised land even though they had no right to the land. Pray for the devil and his demons to be evicted from the squatters that they have set up in your promised land - your healing, your provision, your relationships, etc. Christian life is easy. The fruits of Canaan grow on trees, right within reach and are easy to be picked. The fruits of Egypt grow on the ground and are difficult to be picked - you have to bend your back to pick them up. Jesus says "My yoke is easy and My burden is light." The Bible says instead that "the way of transgressors is hard". God wants you to be well and to live a life of rest. Be conscious of God's heart for you, not the size or strength of your enemies. It is eternal! Long after all organizations on earth have crumbled, the church will go marching on. We are called out of darkness to be living stones. God will never violate man's free choice. The world is getting worse, but it seems like the blessings of God upon us believers are getting greater! The theme of the year in New Creation Church is for those who come under Pastor Joseph Prince's ministry. If you attend a different church and sit under the ministry of a different shepherd, then the theme of the year does not apply to you. The devil wants you to see the obvious, the prominent, the visible. God wants you to see what He wants you to know. It took 10 plagues to get the children of Israel out of Egypt. It took the last cut - the blood, to get them out. The devil cannot resist the blood of Jesus Christ. On Christmas Day, manna came quietly - Jesus came as a Baby. He is the heavenly Manna. "Egypt" in Hebrew literally means double straits/pressure/stress. God brought the children of Israel out of the place of double stress! God wants to bring us out into a BIG place this year! Walking with God now is even more tight and closer than even Abraham did. “And the time we took to come from Kadesh Barnea until we crossed over the Valley of the Zered was thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war was consumed from the midst of the camp, just as the LORD had sworn to them.” (Deuteronomy 2:14 NKJV) John 5:5 - The man represents Israel. What religion could not do to heal the man, Jesus did! “Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.” (John 5:5 NKJV) Moses could not look in God's face and live. We now behold the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Our walk with God is in the spirit. The wisdom that God gives us in one split second is greater than all the advice that the world can give us. Deuteronomy 8:7-9 - The fruits of Canaan grow on trees (example: olives, pomegranates) and are easy to be picked. The blessings of God are easy and ripe for the picking. Trust that God has your best interests at heart. “For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper.” (Deuteronomy 8:7-9 NKJV) Pastor Joseph Prince doesn't believe in selfish prosperity, but he declares confidently that our God is an abundant God. Deuteronomy 6:10-11 - God promises that we will eat and be full! This is a picture of rest! ““So it shall be, when the LORD your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant— when you have eaten and are full—” (Deuteronomy 6:10-11 NKJV) Hebrews 4:1-3 - This is the only place in the Bible that God tells us to fear. Keep one fear this year - the fear of not being restful. Focus on what Jesus has done - that is how we can enter into a place of rest. “Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: “So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest,’ ” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.” (Hebrews 4:1-3 NKJV) This year will be a year of enjoying things restfully! God loves it when His people rests in what His Son has done. Numbers 13:1-2 - This wasn't God's original design for the children of Israel. Because the children of Israel wanted to send men to spy out the land of Canaan and did not trust in God's words, therefore God allowed them to do so, just like how the Law was given. The Law was not God's original plan for the children of Israel. “And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader among them.”” (Numbers 13:1-2 NKJV) Deuteronomy 1:21-22 - What can mortal men do when God has already spoken? There is a propensity of the human flesh to be wise in their own understanding. “Look, the LORD your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.’ “And every one of you came near to me and said, ‘Let us send men before us, and let them search out the land for us, and bring back word to us of the way by which we should go up, and of the cities into which we shall come.’” (Deuteronomy 1:21-22 NKJV) |
