30 July 2017 - See Through Jesus' Eyes: A Child Who Has Fallen Into a Well - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online

If you have been confessing healing, health and finances but you are seeing no results yet, listen to the Holy Spirit's prompting in you.
Maybe He has been telling you something that you have been ignoring.

God sanctioned the children of Israel in the past to eat animals that chew the cud and have cloven feet - that was considered healthy for them.
What it means for us today is that you should feed from ministries that meditate on God's word and rightly divide the word in their walk.

Even though we're surrounded by the culture of the world who try to condemn us for saying what is right is right and what is wrong is wrong, we don't have to be affected by what they say.
Even though the world is under subjugation and the devil is ruling the world, we believers can still walk in victory.

When Jesus comes back to rule on earth during the Millennium, there will be no more poverty, sickness, and natural people who die at the age of 100+ will be considered to have died as young as an infant.

Yes after we are saved we are meant to share the gospel and get people saved, but that's not the purpose of life.
God wants us to live life, and our lives will bear witness to God.

It's useless to try to convince or answer your critics.
By trying that, you're actually giving weight to what they're saying. Just ignore them.
Some people are just sent to oppose you. Judas will always be Judas.

You don't have to be a theologian to be able to understand the Bible.
The Holy Spirit can speak to you and give you a rhema word specifically for your situation today.
The word of God has a voice that speaks to you.

23 July 2017 - Boasting in Our Weakness Attracts the Grace of God - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online

Rainfall is a sign of God's blessings. Famine is a sign of His judgement.

There is a wave of fresh unmerited favor coming towards you everyday when you wake up.
Wave after wave of undeterred, unabated blessings are coming towards you.
It doesn't come by fasting or doing something. It's not by earning it, it's by grace!
We are standing on righteous ground.

When you worry about a particular area of your life, you are constricting God's supply in that area.
It's like blocking God's pipes of supply.
We have lots of grace in areas that we don't worry about.
Let go of your worries and let God take over - He will provide the supply!

John 1:16 - Grace for grace is "Grace anti grace". Anti doesn't only mean against. It also means in place of.After we use up one wave of grace, a wave of fresh grace comes in its place!
The more you try to make grace flow, you are spoiling the grace that is already available.
When your prayer is desperate, it's frustrating the grace of God.
Your prayer should be just affirming and declaring the grace that is already flowing.

“And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.” (John 1:16 NKJV)

God is constantly supplying us with the Holy Spirit. We can't leak and run out of the Holy Spirit.
It is not faith to cry out to God and ask Him to do something that He is already doing.

You are reading: 10 Fun Activities for 1 Year Olds to Do at Home When You're a Stay At Home Parent

Daily life can get really repetitive and mundane if you're a stay at home parent, especially if you don't consciously look for activities for 1 year olds to do at home.

Through this blog post, I would like to share 10 fun activities that we do with Mae at home almost daily, and I believe that these activities either teach her something, or train her in some skills.
I hope that your little one will also have fun and benefit from these activities:

1) Reading

This is a very educational activity and there are so many benefits to it!

Mae loves us to read to her, especially books with large pictures!

As she is a Peppa Pig fan, she loves it when we read two of her books to her: "123 with Peppa" and "Peppa's Big Day Out".
Seeing the characters in the book whom she is so familiar with makes her excited to listen to the books being read.

These books are educational: one teaches about counting numbers, and both have lots of characters and objects to teach Mae about.

Reading is definitely one of the great activities for 1 year olds to do at home when you're a stay at home parent!

16 July 2017 - The Secret to Having Increased Favor in Your Life - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online

16 July 2017 - The Secret to Having Increased Favor in Your Life - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online

Grace should not be an article of your teaching. It should be the principle of your life!

Galatians 1:6-9 - The grace of Christ is the only true gospel. Any other gospel is untrue.

“I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:6-9 NKJV)

John 1:14 - Grace is not a subject. Grace is the Person of Jesus Christ.
Grace and truth is "Hesed ve Emet" in Hebrew.
God is restoring the gospel. It is not just restored to the original condition. It is made even better.
The news doesn't tell you what God is doing in the world, but God is doing a great thing!

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14 NKJV)

Don't envy financially rich people.
We have joy unspeakable. We have great promises for this life and in the life to come.
Don't waste time envying things that don't have true value.

Only God can give you favor. Many Christian programs shut down because there is no favor.
Favor can be increased in our lives and it can also be frustrated.
Honesty alone doesn't bring favor. There are honest people who don't have favor in their lives.

Sometimes homemakers do things that are more significant and have more eternal consequences than people who work a job.
They are shaping lives for this life and for eternity.
Why not ask God for increased favor, starting in your family?

As an full-time dad who admittedly loves and watches Peppa Pig episodes on Netflix with his child, I have had the time to watch the seasons through a few times and picked up some valuable life lessons in the episodes!

I know that many of you parents don't have the time to watch through these episodes (that time could be better used to complete other tasks right?) so I've specially done up this blog post just to help you out!

Inspired by my "5 Life Lessons" series of blog posts where I share 5 Life Lessons and moral value from movies and shows that I watched and love, below I share about my Top 10 Peppa Pig episodes that teach valuable life lessons to kids (and adults)!

I have also spent some time to carefully select high-quality and fun Peppa Pig products and toys that your little one would most likely love, and included product links to them in this post!
My daughter is currently in love with her Peppa Pig doll which also doubles up as a backpack!

Without further ado, here we go:

#10) Season 2, Episode 11: "Recycling"

This Peppa Pig episode teaches kids about what recycling is, how to separate the different materials for recycling and the actual dumping of the items into recycling bins as well!

To raise an environmentally-friendly child and have them play a part in conserving our earth's resources, let them watch this Peppa Pig episode.

5 Life Lessons and Moral Value in Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming 2017 Movie (Starring Tom Holland)

5 Life Lessons and Moral Value in Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming 2017 Movie (Starring Tom Holland)

Picture

Spider-Man: Homecoming Cast:

Tom Holland as Peter Parker (Spider-Man)
Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes (Vulture)
Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark (Iron Man)
Marisa Tomei as May Parker
Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan
Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts
Zendaya as Michelle
Jacob Batalon as Ned
Laura Harrier as Liz

1) Trust the training and learning process. When you're ready you'll be promoted to the next level.

Peter Parker (Spider-Man) thought that he was ready to be an Avenger. He didn't know that he still had so much to learn.

By disabling the "Training Wheels Protocol" on the Spider-Man suit, he messed up because he couldn't handle the new features of the suit at its full potential.

He should have just waited for Tony Stark (Iron Man) or Happy Hogan to give him his next mission before trying to do really dangerous stuff like taking down the Vulture (Adrian Toomes).

Sometimes we may feel frustrated that we seem to be stuck and are not moving forward in life.
There's probably a lesson to be learnt in our current situation, and once we learn it, only then can we be promoted to the next level.

2) If you're single and you like someone, keep it simple. Tell them. Chances are, they like you too.

Peter Parker (Spider-Man) had a major crush on Liz but he had too many worries on his mind stopping him from telling her.

He was worried that she would find out that he was Spider-Man and be disappointed that it's just him.

Only after he lost the Spider-Man suit did he manage to muster up the courage to tell Liz that he liked her and to invite her to be his homecoming partner.

There were already a few signs earlier in the movie which hinted that Liz felt the same way about Peter (for example: the nighttime swim scene when she said that he's the smartest guy she knows).

All he had to do was to tell her how he felt. If you're in the same position, why not just tell that special someone that you like him/her?

Picture

3) When dealing with teenagers, really listen to what they have to say. Brushing them off results in negative consequences.

Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Happy Hogan were unaware that by shrugging Peter Parker (Spider-Man) off like he didn't matter, Peter would try to prove his worth.

He is a teenager after all and wants to be treated with respect like an adult. All they probably had to do was to have a conversation with Peter and listen to what he had to say.

If they had done that, the Washington Monument disaster probably would be avoided, and the ferry wouldn't have been split in two either.

When dealing with teenagers, we have to listen properly to what they have to say. Sometimes all they want is to be heard and not feel like they're invisible.
If we can learn to listen, many possible negative consequences can be prevented.

Picture
You are reading: 5 Life Lessons and Moral Value in Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming 2017 Movie (Starring Tom Holland)

4) Sometimes people lie to themselves that they're doing others a favor, when actually it's for themselves.

When Peter Parker (Spider-Man) tracked Vulture (Adrian Toomes) down to his lair to apprehend him, Vulture said that everything he was building was to leave a legacy for his daughter.

What he said after that showed clearly that it wasn't true.
He said that the rich and powerful people at the top of society get to have the best of everything and that people like him only get the remaining scraps.

He was just ambitious and wanting to be in that position of power to do whatever he wants like a tyrant. It was a selfish motivation.

Sometimes when we make certain decisions, we may tell ourselves that it's for this or that person, when deep down, we're hiding that it's actually for ourselves.
Such decisions can potentially be very damaging if they are allowed to continue.

Picture

5) We need to know when to call it a day. Taking a step back for now is better than losing everything due to impulsiveness.

When the plane was going to crash-land due to the damage sustained, Vulture (Adrian Toomes) refused to escape without at least taking something from the precious cargo onboard the plane.

His inability to let go cost him dearly - his Vulture suit malfunctioned and exploded, he did not get any of the loot, and he was arrested and sentenced to prison.

Of course I'm not advocating criminal acts or how to be a smart criminal, but what I'm saying is that sometimes we have to discern when to let go.

If we hold on too tightly, we may hurt ourselves and everyone around us in the process. I
f we manage to let go, our hands are open and free to receive something better.

9 July 2017 - MegaFest 2017: Woman Thou Art Loosed - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online

All Jesus needs is our consent for Him to love us and let His power flow within us. That is called repentance.

The first mention of tears in the Old Testament is of the tears of a woman. The first mention of tears in the New Testament is also the tears of a woman.
God hears your cry.

Ever since Adam partook of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, he developed a conscience.

Only when you know that there is a righteous foundation for your forgiveness and righteousness, then can you enjoy it with a clear conscience.

John 1:17 - The Law was given from a distance, but grace came near and close through Jesus Christ.
The Law is true, but it is not the truth. Grace is the truth that sets us free!

“For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”
(John 1:17 NKJV)

The gospel is not about right doing, it is about right believing!

Jesus our High Priest is not there to find fault with us to the Father but He is there to represent us!
The High Priest represents the nation to God, whereas a prophet represents God to people.
If the High Priest is good, then the people are seen as righteous.
If the High Priest is bad, then the people can look forward to a bad year ahead.

I John 4:17 - This verse doesn't say "as He was", it is "as He IS"! Jesus is currently crowned with all glory and power, far above all dominion.
The Bible says we are transformed by beholding, not by performing.
Whenever you behold Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit goes to work and transforms us as we behold Jesus.
When Peter saw Jesus above the storm and above the waves, he became like Jesus. He could walk on water.
When you look at Jesus, the Holy Spirit makes you like Jesus.
To the level that you are self-occupied, to that degree is your pain.
The devil points you to yourself, whereas the Holy Spirit points you to Jesus.
The gospel is not about us, it's about Him - our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world." (I John 4:17 NKJV)

Jesus has come to wash our feet. In our vertical relationship with Jesus, it is more blessed for us to receive than to give.
However in our horizontal relationship with others, it is more blessed to give than to receive.
There are two sisters in the Bible: Mary and Martha. Which sister made Jesus feel like God?
It is Mary - she did the one needful thing: sit at His feet and receive from Him.
After Mary received from Jesus, Jesus was refreshed!
When you take from man, you deplete from him, but when you take from the Lord, you reinvigorate Him!

Jesus' most often inditement to His disciples is "you of little faith". Faith is taking from Jesus.
Why do you take so little when Jesus is so full of inexhaustible goodness?

2 July 2017 - How to Detox Your Soul - Pastor Mark Ng Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online

God wants the world to hear about His Son. God's heart is for His people to go into rest.
Stop depending on self-effort - rest in what Jesus our Good Shepherd has done for us!

We need to keep hearing and hearing the word of God. The key is to let the truth sink into your header and to live it out.

Some people study the Bible so much but they miss out the most important part - our Lord Jesus Christ.
When Jesus is preached, provision always comes. God's heart is all about His Son. The key is Jesus. When you have Jesus, you have everything!

Celebrating One Million Website Hits Yearly and the 7 Life Lessons that I Learnt on this Journey
You are reading: Celebrating One Million Website Hits Yearly and the 7 Life Lessons that I Learnt on this Journey

Looking back at how this blog started, I am really amazed at how good God is to bless it so abundantly to become a tool that brings blessings, faith, hope and love to so many people worldwide.

We have just reached this exciting milestone: one million website hits in the past 12 months!
There is no way that this happened because of me, it's all due to God's grace!

You are reading: Celebrating One Million Website Hits Yearly and the 7 Life Lessons that I Learnt on this Journey
You are reading: Celebrating One Million Website Hits Yearly and the 7 Life Lessons that I Learnt on this Journey. Here's a screenshot taken on my iPhone on 2 July 2017 of the 1,000,000+ website hits (page views) on this blog in the past 12 months! Love the convenient Weebly app that allows us to view our website statistics on the go!

Thank you Weebly for being such an amazing website hosting platform that has served us well and given us nothing but positive experiences in the past 6 years!

Click Here to find out more about Weebly and its features.
I highly recommend that you choose Weebly if you're intending to start a blog, website or online store for the most user-friendly experience!

I feel so incredibly blessed to be part of this blogging journey, and have learnt so many life lessons from it thus far.

In this post, I would love to celebrate what God has done for us, and also to share the life lessons that I have learnt from this journey to a million.
Without further ado, here we go:

1) Everyone starts from zero.

I was totally clueless when I first started this blog and had no clear direction.
The blog had almost no website hits, and it was sad looking at the website statistics.

It is easy to feel discouraged when we are just starting out on something and there's not much action going on.
However, I feel that all of us have to learn everything from scratch.

Take heart, for like how Scripture encourages us not to despise the day of small beginnings, you never know how far a road will take you, but you must be willing to take the first step in faith!

“Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly.” (Job 8:7 NKJV)

2) Passion keeps you going for the long run.

To me, a passion is a skill that God has given a person the grace to enjoy and perform exceedingly well in.

I know clearly that sharing my experiences, thoughts and revelations through writing is one of my passions.

I hope that what I write can influence and help the person reading it to somehow improve his or her life.

Do you know what your passion is? How can you tell what is your passion?

For example, when I am going about my daily activities I'm always having new inspiration for blog post ideas, thinking how I can improve on my blog to make its messages clearer for you readers, and also how to increase the website hits so as to expand to new audiences to inspire them through what I write.

When I have nothing to do, my mind churns for new blog post ideas and the content, etc.
It is an overarching influence on my life and I cannot help but think about it and sometimes get engrossed in it.

When you discover something positive that excites you like that in your life, that could very well be your passion.

I started this blog about 6 years ago and I am still writing here today because my passion has kept me going for the long run.

I won't suffer from burnout because this is something that refreshes and energizes me.
It's what I do for recreation and relaxation.

I believe that your passion will keep you going, and it will take you far if you allow it to.

“May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, And fulfill all your purpose.” (Psalms 20:4 NKJV

3) Sustainable success takes time to attain.

One blog post that goes viral may get you a lot of website hits in the short term, but if you don't have consistent new content to keep your readers engaged and interested, all that traffic will most likely disappear eventually.

On the other hand, if you have been consistently delivering high-quality content, a post that goes viral may help to skyrocket your blog to new heights!

What I mean is that lasting success in life isn't by chance. It takes lots of deliberate focus, wisdom and time to happen.

Are you able to be consistent and patient in order to get the results that you want?
It will all happen, in God's perfect timing. When it happens though, will you be ready?

Will your foundation be strong and stable enough to handle the new pressures at the new level?

I believe that if success in an area is given by God, He would have prepared your character to be able to handle the newfound success and all the benefits, responsibilities and temptations that come with it.

I believe that by humbling ourselves and praying for our character to be developed and shaped by Him, we are positioning ourselves for lasting success in our lives!

“But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” (Hebrews 6:9-12 NKJV)

4) The drastically-better results that we want lies in taking risks outside our comfort zone.

Sometimes I take the risk of making huge changes on my blog in order to improve the interface, or maybe to increase the potential for more website hits in the long run.

Such changes reduces the website traffic temporarily but the changes that I've done have proven to be the right decisions for the blog's growth.

Why would I want to take the risk of changing things when traffic seems good? It's because I want much better results.

If one desires predictable and so-called 'stable' results, then nothing has to be changed.

Conversely, if you're looking to have a huge breakthrough in an area of your life, I believe that you'll have to do something differently to get something different.

Think about the results that you want. Is that something you'd take a big risk for, and how much is it worth to you?

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:2 NKJV)

5) What a person can do is limited. One cannot go far by remaining alone.

I have to say that the exponential growth of our blog's website hits is the result of teamwork -
the website page views approximately TRIPLED or more within the last 12 months!
We have a wonderful team - Our team is all of you dear readers who share our posts with your family and friends.

We want to take this opportunity to express a very big THANK YOU to all of you for reading, and especially to those of you who are subscribed to our email newsletters and are following our new posts week after week!

Without all of you, writing blog posts would feel less joyful and exciting than it is right now.

We would also like to thank our Patrons who have gone the extra mile to bless us and support our work!
If you have been following this blog, you can bless and support us by becoming a Patron on Patreon here.
Lots of valuable and blessed rewards await you in that VIP group of Patrons!

My dream is to be securely financially-free so that I can devote more time and heart into spending quality time with my family and into producing even more quality content on this blog.

I believe that this dream can be fulfilled through Patreon, and when it happens, I hope you'll still be here with us to witness it.

“Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 NKJV)

6) Give value to others before you expect to receive.

Do you know that you will receive one of my ebooks for free when you subscribe to our email newsletter?
This is one of the ways that we want to bless our readers.

If you blog, you may want to try that out on your website too - it will probably help to increase your website hits!

I'm always looking for more ways to offer greater value to our readers.
As one of my mentors said before, "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care."

I believe that when you give lots of value, people can sense that you're sincere to help, because probably only a person that cares would be so meticulous!

The Scriptures say "Love your neighbor as yourself".
If we want to be treated with love, we should be the first one to offer it.

What are some ways in which you can offer greater value in your life?
Maybe at work, in your marriage, and/or in your relationship with your children?

“For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”” (Galatians 5:13-14 NKJV)

7) To fulfill your purpose in this world: Discover what your talent is, develop it, and use it for good.

As the website hits increased for this blog exponentially, I realised that blogging is not just a hobby for me but it has become a way to really impact people's lives.
With 127k page views a month on this blog currently, that's a lot of people reading the content that we post.

I realised that this is actually an important part of my calling and purpose:
to share empowering knowledge to people that inspires and helps them to have right believing through this blog.

Knowing this, I am constantly learning how to improve in this field so that I can develop this anointing/calling/purpose further to help even more people.
I hope that we will be blessed to write another blog post like this one, except it will be about celebrating ten million website hits yearly, by God's grace!

Have you discovered your talent - That skill that you're especially good at which seems to be difficult for others but somehow easy for you?
Keep developing and using that talent to bring more good into this world!
God has given you that talent for a purpose: Don't let it be given in vain!

How does it end up "given in vain"? If we choose not to use our talents and keep it buried inside us, or if we misuse it to cause evil instead of good.

Having an increasing number of readers on this blog means that whatever I write must be to uplift, edify, and inspire -
to bring about good, and never to destroy, humiliate, badmouth or cause anything negative.

It's a huge responsibility, and by God's grace, may our talents always be used for good and never for evil!

“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.” (I Corinthians 15:10 NKJV)
