5 June 2016 - Looking to Jesus: The Key to Blessings and Victory - Grace 2016 TBN Israel Tour (Caesarea Maritima) - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineLuke 13:11-16 - Eighteen is the number of the devil (6 + 6 + 6). God wants you healed more than you are willing to be healed. “And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, “There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.” The Lord then answered him and said, “Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead it away to water it? So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound—think of it—for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?”” (Luke 13:11-16 NKJV) Joseph's brothers all share the same father, but not the same mother. Only Joseph and Benjamin were born of Rachel who represents grace. The rest of Joseph's brothers were born of bondwomen who represent the Law. Our mother is grace. Today, there are still many children born of the same father who don't have the same mother - Many believers still put themselves under the Law instead of living under grace. The gospel is to be preached to the Jew first, then the Greek (the Gentiles). When we preach grace, they will be convicted. Romans 5:17 - Righteousness is a gift. You receive it and cannot earn it. Righteousness isn't based on what we do or don't do. You cannot overcome addictions permanently by willpower. The devil strongly attacks teachings about "abundance of grace" and "the gift of righteousness" because he doesn't want us to reign in life! When we reign in life, the devil doesn't. When we reign in life, sin doesn't. “For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)” (Romans 5:17 NKJV) The gospel is not a revelation of holiness. Righteousness is the root, holiness is the fruit! Galatians 3:5 - We receive God's miracles by the hearing of faith. “Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—” (Galatians 3:5 NKJV) Galatians 5:19-23 - Works are a result of effort. Fruit is a result of life. We produce the fruits of the Spirit in our life by abiding in Jesus. Jesus is the Vine and we are the branches. We don't have to try to be a branch. We just have to rest and let Jesus' vine life flow through us. “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5:19-23 NKJV) Ezekiel 44 - Your sweating as a result of works and self-effort is hindering you from receiving your miracle. When you work, God rests. When you rest, God works! ““But the priests, the Levites, the sons of Zadok, who kept charge of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near Me to minister to Me; and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood,” says the Lord GOD. “They shall enter My sanctuary, and they shall come near My table to minister to Me, and they shall keep My charge. And it shall be, whenever they enter the gates of the inner court, that they shall put on linen garments; no wool shall come upon them while they minister within the gates of the inner court or within the house. They shall have linen turbans on their heads and linen trousers on their bodies; they shall not clothe themselves with anything that causes sweat.” (Ezekiel 44:15-18 NKJV) There is nothing more practical than looking at Jesus. When Peter was looking at Jesus, he did the supernatural - he walked on water! As long as his eyes were fixed on Jesus, he did what Jesus did. The moment he turned away from Jesus to look at the storm, he started to sink. The pulpit should be a place for people to behold Jesus. As we behold Jesus, we are transformed from glory to glory. In the Christian life, there are no answers horizontally. Your answers come vertically. The Christian life begins by being seated with Christ. How well you sit is how well you walk. How well you rest is how well you work. As long as the devil can affect your rest, he can affect your walk in life. When a problem comes and the devil asks you "What are you going to do about it?", answer: "Nothing. I'm going to rest." We pray from victory, not for victory! I John 4:17 - Jesus is seated in heaven at the right hand of the Father, glorified and high above all powers and principalities. We are as Jesus is, right now, in this world! Just as He is free from sickness and disease, so are we, right now, in this world! “Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.” (I John 4:17 NKJV) The devil always wants you to look at yourself, but the Holy Spirit wants you to look at Jesus. Every way you turn Jesus to look at Him, He is perfect and altogether lovely.

15 May 2016 - How to Live Free From All Curses - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineThere is no point having lots of theology if souls are not saved. For the Law to be the Law, you have to keep everything in the Law. The Law doesn't recognize words like "I try to do my best." The Law has something called blessing and curses. If you obey all the Law, you will be blessed. If you break one of commandments of the Law, you will be cursed. Romans 7:4-7 - We don't throw out the Ten Commandments. We are delivered from the Law. We are dead to 'Mr Law' to be married to Jesus Christ. When something is dead, it doesn't respond. We should not respond to the Law. The marriage with Mr Law produced fruit to death. The marriage with Jesus Christ produces fruitfulness! The Law is holy, righteous and just, but it cannot make us holy, righteous or just. Holiness and sanctification come by faith. “Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”” (Romans 7:4-7 NKJV) When interpreting the Bible, context is king. If you remove the text, all you're left with is a con! Where sin increases, grace superabounds (In Greek: huperperisio) much more! "Increases" can be counted, but huperperisio can't be counted! When discerning whether a ministry is preaching the true gospel, look at their fruits - are souls saved? Are there testimonies of lives changed? Jesus told us to be 'fruit inspectors' - by their fruits you shall know them. Galatians 1:6-9 - The true gospel is the grace of Christ. The book of Galatians is dealing with the issue of sanctification by faith. The Galatian believers wrongly believed that they were saved by faith to be empowered to keep the Law. There is a forgotten curse - the curse of the New Testament - the double curse pronounced by Paul upon anyone who preaches a different gospel. The Lord pronounced this double curse because He loves His people. The double curse is there to protect the purity of the gospel. This curse will stop the person from preaching the different gospel. None of us, all of Jesus! Those who preach the true gospel will be doubly blessed! “I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:6-9 NKJV) If you ask a non-believer why should God allow him to enter heaven, he will answer based on the Law and his own works - Example that they would say: "I don't murder people, I am not like Osama Bin Laden or Saddam Hussein. I take care of my family and provide for them." We don't need to teach sinners the Law - they already know about "do good get good, do bad get bad". It takes revelation from the Holy Spirit to understand that we get good that we don't deserve because Jesus took the bad that we deserved. If you're blogging about Bible truths, you're preaching already. Make sure to be preaching the true gospel. Have more faith in the grace of God than in the sinfulness of man. You want to know how bad sin is? Look at the cross. The Son of God had to die for us to receive forgiveness of all our sins. You want to know how great God's love is for us? Look at the cross. Our Heavenly Father gave up His only begotten Son whom He loves in exchange for our redemption. Hebrews 10:2 - Worshippers (believers) once cleansed should have no more consciousness of sins. If a believer still has a consciousness of sins after being saved, it is an insult to the gift of righteousness given by God. If someone has paid your debt in full and you still act as though your debt is not paid, isn't it dishonoring him? “For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers, once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins.” (Hebrews 10:2 NKJV) 8 May 2016 - The Seven Dispensations - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineWhen you feel that there are demonic spirits or oppression going on, call on the name of Jesus. It's by that name that every knee bows. At that name, everything clears. You can pray for your friend, even if they are unbelievers. Many times, God heals people that know nothing about healing, especially in such third world countries when the gospel is preached, many times we see more great signs miracles and wonders being performed than in countries where people have a lot of theology in their minds. Under the Law, you must obey in order for God to bless you. Under grace, you are blessed. Under the Law, you must repent first in order to be blessed by God. Under grace, the goodness of God leads us to repentance. "If a man can make a distinction between Law and grace, he is a true theologian." - Martin Luther "It is God that makes theologians, not man." - Martin Luther The gifts of the Holy Spirit are still for today. Dispensational truth: In every dispensation, God deals with man differently. In every dispensation, man is tested to show that man cannot save himself. God is not saving nations, He is saving people in nations. Jesus said that before He returns, the world will be like in the days of Noah - man's corruption and wickedness will fill the earth. The world will get worse and worse, but the church will get brighter and brighter. II Timothy 2:15 - The word of God must be preached in the right context, and in the correct dispensation. “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (II Timothy 2:15 NKJV) Acts 15:5-11 - At the time of this discussion between the Pharisees and Peter, Peter had preached to Cornelius' household and witnessed them saved and receiving the Holy Spirit about 12 years ago. Both justification and sanctification (holiness) come by faith. Hearts are made pure by faith. When people believe the gospel, hearts are purified. “But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.” Now the apostles and elders came together to consider this matter. And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them: “Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.”” (Acts 15:5-11 NKJV) When God looks down on the earth, He only sees three groups of people: the Jew, the Gentile, and the church of God. When you read the word of God, you must discern which group of people is it talking to or about. There are seven dispensations: 1) The dispensation of innocence - Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. God put man in a perfect environment. It is not free choice if everything is good. God had to allow man to exercise his free choice. That's the reason for the existence of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. How did it end: Man ate from that tree and brought death into the world. Then God drove man out of the garden of Eden. 2) The dispensation of conscience - After Adam and Eve ate from the tree, their eyes were opened and they knew both good and evil - their conscience was awakened. From then on, all man had a sin nature from the moment they are born. How did it end: All flesh was corrupted in their way in the earth. The wickedness of man filled the earth. God sent the great flood to wipe out all life on the earth, leaving Noah, his family and the animals alive to replenish the earth. 3) The dispensation of human government: God commanded Noah to replenish the earth, and have dominion over it. How did it end: Man tried to build the Tower of Babel in order to communicate with the principalities and probably with the devil himself. It is demonic. In response, God confused man's language and dispersed man to all corners of the earth. 4) The dispensation of promise: God promised Abraham that his descendants would be numerous - like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore. The promises that God gave to Abraham were unconditional and did not depend on his performance. God dealt with Abraham by pure grace. Some promises that God gave to Abraham's descendants were conditional. Israel chose to worship different gods and idols. How did it end: Israel was brought into Egyptian bondage. Then God sent Moses to save them and brought them out. 5) The dispensation of the Law: At Mount Sinai, God gave man the Ten Commandments. For the Law to be the Law, it cannot bend for you. It must be kept in its inflexibility. God gave the Ten Commandments, not the 'Ten Suggestions'. You cannot rob the Law of its terror, if not you're robbing grace of its freedom! "The Law is for the proud-hearted, while grace is for the broken-hearted." - Martin Luther The Law can only govern people outwardly. The Law is behavior modification, not heart transformation. Grace brings true heart transformation. People must feel or know that they are lost before they can be saved. How did it end: Israel and Judah were captured by King Nebuchadnezzar and brought into bondage in Babylon. The dispensation of the Law lasted 1500 years. 6) The dispensation of grace: Jesus' death, burial and resurrection brought about a new dispensation. Under grace, God does not demand righteousness from man. Instead, God gives you the gift of righteousness because of what Jesus has done at the cross. At the cross, Jesus took the rejection from God, so that we can receive the acceptance from God. The dispensation of grace has been the longest-lasting dispensation so far - it's already been 2000-over years. God loves to deal with man by grace. When God's quota is met, He will send Jesus to receive His bride - the church of God, to be with Him in heaven. The Rapture: At the sound of the trumpets, the dead in Christ will rise first, and then those who remain on the earth will be caught up to be with Jesus. During the Great Tribulation, God will pour out His bowls of judgment on the earth, and man will still curse and blaspheme God. There will be 144,000 Jewish evangelists who will preach the gospel and many will believe and be saved. 7) The dispensation of the Millennial Rule of Jesus Christ on earth: For 1000 years, Jesus will rule on earth from Jerusalem. Every true believer will rule with Him. There will still be sinners on the earth. However, there will be no sickness, and no premature death - those who die young will be a 100 years old! The devil will be bound for 1000 years. Man will have no excuse to justify their sinful behavior. After 1000 years, Satan will be released and many people will join him to make war against God. Then God will cast Satan into the lake of fire, as well as all unbelievers. 1 May 2016 - Unveiling God's Heart Of Grace - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineThe greatest Superhero in this universe is the Lord Jesus Christ. He gave His life for us, and we have become His bride. We are waiting for the wedding day. The Rabbinical Law forbids mixing meat and milk together. However Abraham offered milk and meat together to the Lord when the Lord visited him at his tent, and the Lord and His two angels ate them. Micah 6:8 - What God is - God is love. Who God is - He is God. God has to judge. But God's nature is not to judge. "Mercy" is the Hebrew word "hesed" which means grace. God wants us to do justice, but to LOVE grace. “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8 NKJV) The governmental bodies, police force etc. are God's servants, put there to execute justice. Genesis 18:20-33 - God wants man to pray. Why didn't God just go down to Sodom and Gomorrah and destroy it? Why did He visit Abraham? God wanted to be interceded. Right now, God doesn't yet have full reign over the earth. Abraham stopped at ten righteous people because he wanted Lot and his family to be saved. God kept agreeing to spare the city for the number of righteous people that Abraham bargained for. Even if Abraham had bargained all the way down to one righteous person, Pastor Prince believes that God would also have agreed to spare the city for the sake of that one righteous person. God delayed for Abraham to pray. God will delay for us to pray. “And the LORD said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grave, I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry against it that has come to Me; and if not, I will know.” Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the LORD. And Abraham came near and said, “Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it? Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?” So the LORD said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.” Then Abraham answered and said, “Indeed now, I who am but dust and ashes have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose there were five less than the fifty righteous; would You destroy all of the city for lack of five?” So He said, “If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy it. ” And he spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose there should be forty found there?” So He said, “I will not do it for the sake of forty.” Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose thirty should be found there?” So He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.” And he said, “Indeed now, I have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose twenty should be found there?” So He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of twenty.” Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.” So the LORD went His way as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham; and Abraham returned to his place.” (Genesis 18:20-33 NKJV) 24 April 2016 - When God Comes To Visit - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineWe need to be a channel, a branch that is connected to the Living Vine, to be a blessing to the nations. Like the city of Nineveh in Jonah's time, the nations don't know their right hand from their left. If God has given you influence, don't use your influence to bring haters up. Just ignore them. The devil will keep coming against grace, saying that it is a license to sin, but we shouldn't care about what he says. Just keep preaching the gospel. Always believe the best of your brother or sister in Christ, don't assume the worst unless proven otherwise. Exodus 10:23 - Egypt was in deep supernatural darkness. This "light" in this verse is referring to supernatural light, and not the kind of physical light that can be produced by lighting a torch (if not the Egyptians could have produced light in their dwellings too). “They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.” (Exodus 10:23 NKJV) All believers are righteous in God's eyes. We are justified by faith. Don't focus on your victory over Satan, focus on Jesus! God appeared to Moses in a burning bush. The fire represents suffering and torment. God appeared in the same nature that the children of Israel were experiencing. God is with us all the time. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Make sure you are hearing the word of God, and that it is Jesus-centered. Spend time in rich fellowship with the Lord. Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he won't depart from it. The words "way he should go" and "depart from it" are the words for mouth and taste. As a parent, feed your child the things of God even if he/she resists them. There are some guys who even when they are forty years old still love and prefer their mum's cooking. Your persistence will cause your children not to depart from the things of God when they grow up. 10 April 2016 - God's Light In Your Dwelling - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineTestimony of a blessed restored marriage shared by Pastor Joseph Prince: This brother in Christ from Illinois was jobless and having marital problems. He believed that he was being punished for his sins. He believed that God brought him into bad times to teach him lessons. He got entangled in pornography. When he read the book "Destined to Reign" he was impacted by grace and he kept declaring that "I am the righteousness of God in Christ!". The addiction effortlessly left him. He says that now he is empowered through Christ. He also received a job that is much better than before, and his marriage is now restored and much better than before. Church is where the spiritual food is being put out for us to be fed. We don't have to tithe, we GET TO tithe. When God asks you to give to Him, He's setting you up for a blessing! Jesus asked to use Peter's boat, which led to Peter having a net-breaking, boat-sinking load of fishes. Jesus' blood cleansed all our sin debt. The deck is now cleared. Whatever you give now is a seed you sow, not a debt you owe! If you sow a seed, you get a tree with many seeds and fruits back. What you give to God will never come back the same. God will always out-give man. He will never be indebted to you because He is greater than you in every way! Commercialism is something that God gives, but we should not become absorbed by it. Communism is not God's way. God's way is Capitalism, industry, and business. Pastor Prince has never approached anyone, rich or poor, to ask for money, and by the grace of God, he will never have to. Psalms 128:3-4 - The fruitful vine is for producing wine, not grape juice. Corn, wine and oil are three important commodities in Israel in Jesus' time. Jesus' first miracle was to turn miracle into wine. He compressed time. "You have kept the best wine until now". The end time generation is the most blessed compared to previous generations. God doesn't believe in drunkenness. He wants you to walk in the glory of God. Jesus didn't dress wealthy-ly, but He is majestic and stately. “Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed Who fears the LORD.” (Psalms 128:3-4 NKJV) 3 April 2016 - The Right Way To Fear The Lord - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineWe tend to dislike in people what we see in ourselves. In a relationship or marriage, when the man gives a choice to the woman, and if she makes a mistake, it is the man's mistake. Learn scripture verses and put them in your memory. Let the sword of the Spirit and you become one. When Jesus was being tempted by the devil in the wilderness, Jesus quoted the scripture as it is, and He didn't personalize it. If Jesus answered the devil with "it is written...", how can we think to fight the devil with logic and reasoning? There's power in speaking the Bible verses as they are. Say "It is written..." and quote the verse that corresponds to your situation or need. II Timothy 4:18 - The Lord will deliver you from EVERY evil work. God wants your life blessed, and there is a laser-sharp word of God for every situation. “And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!” (II Timothy 4:18 NKJV) When it's impossible with man, it's possible with God. God doesn't help those who help themselves. That statement is not from the Bible! God helps those who are helpless. The 15 songs of Psalms 120 - 134 are known as the Songs of Degrees/Ascents. With each song, you go higher. God brings you higher and higher. 15 is the number of rest. You will come to a place of victory. Psalm 128:1-6 - Psalm 128 is one of the Songs of Degrees/Ascents. When you eat you will be happy. Your wife will not dry up. She will be like a fruitful vine. God created us to laugh. Your children are anointed. Your children are like olive plants. Olive oil is used for medicine, cleansing, and holy purposes. These verses are a faith picture for you to show you God's promises for your family in the future. This is a picture of a prosperous and blessed household. When the man is blessed, his whole household - his wife and his children are blessed. The wife is not the leader, the man is the leader. You will see your children's children - that's a promise of long life! In the Old Testament, there is not one characteristic that causes someone to be more blessed than having the fear of the Lord. “Blessed is every one who fears the LORD, Who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed Who fears the LORD. The LORD bless you out of Zion, And may you see the good of Jerusalem All the days of your life. Yes, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel!” (Psalms 128:1-6 NKJV) When you have to resort to sexual innuendos to get people to laugh, that's the lowest level of humor. Just like olives, in the garden of "Gethsemane" (the word means olive press) Jesus was first pressed in the darkness to bring us into the light. The second stage, Jesus was beaten, it is for our medicine - by His stripes we are healed. The third stage, Jesus' death cleansed us of our sins. It is better for the devil not to attack you, because when he attacks you and you know how to counter-attack, you will get spoils. Don't sit down looking spoiled, look at the spoils of war! With an attack comes the law of restoration/ compensation. God doesn't justify people who are blameless. God justifies the ungodly. For grace to be grace, it has to be unmerited. Psalms 130:3-4 - If God marked each of our sins every time we sin, who could stand? Knowing the forgiveness of our sins accomplished by Jesus at the cross causes us to correctly fear the Lord. “If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared.” (Psalms 130:3-4 NKJV) Jesus was not captured, He laid down His life. When the people tried to throw Jesus down the cliff, Jesus walked right through their midst. He did not have to run away. That's cool. When people tried to kill Jesus before His appointed time, they could not do so. When the soldiers came to capture Jesus at night, Jesus said "I AM" and all the soldiers fell on the ground. It was His prerogative to decide when they could get up. At the cross, Jesus' head did not involuntarily drop when He died. He positioned His head for death, and He dismissed His spirit. 27 Mar 2016 - Resurrection Sunday: We Are Redeemed! - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineScreening of "Golgotha", Special Short Film by Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) in partnership with Pastor Joseph Prince: It was at Mount Moriah that Abraham was going to sacrifice his son. The highest peak of Mount Moriah is Golgotha, where Jesus was to be crucified. Via Dolarosa is the street where Jesus carried the cross all the way to Golgotha. God withheld Abraham from plunging the knife into his son. But at the cross, no one withheld the Father from sacrificing Jesus, His Son. We know that God loves us because He did not withhold His Son, His only Son whom He loved. Jesus Christ came and did what no man could ever do - He stopped the reign of death. God never meant for man to die. God hates death and sin. He counts death as an enemy. Jesus came that you might reign in life and have life more abundantly. When you reign in life, sin doesn't. When you reign in life, the devil doesn't. At the cross, Jesus became our sin, so that we could become the righteousness of God in Him. At the cross, Jesus received our sins, and all the curse and condemnation fell upon Him. In the Old Testament, the priest examines the lamb for blemishes before it is slain as a sin offering. God is not examining you (the offerer), He is examining your lamb. When the priest approves of the lamb, the offerer lays his hands on the lamb. It is an act of identification. All the sins of the offerer is transferred to the lamb and the righteousness of the lamb is transferred to the offerer. Now the offerer walks away with the favor and the blessings of God. When we trust in Jesus, we transmit all our sins upon Him and God transfers all Jesus' righteousness to our account. The first time that Jesus bled was in the Garden of Gethsemane. Science tells us that when someone undergoes tremendous stress, his/her blood capillaries burst, causing him/her to sweat blood. There is redeeming quality in Jesus' blood. When He sweat blood, He redeemed us from the curse of sweat and He gave us the crown of peace. Jesus' never addressed God as "My God" except at the cross. He always referred to Him as "My Father". He cried out "My God, My God" at the cross to tell us that God had forsaken Him. At the cross, God dealt with Jesus as a Sacrifice, not as His Son. The Father loved Jesus. Before the foundation of the world, Jesus was already daily the Father's delight. At the cross, as Father, His heart was broken. Jesus was never more pleasing to the Father than at the cross. Because of what Jesus did at the cross, we can now say "My God, My God, why have you so blessed me!" When Jesus died, Jesus went down to Sheol to proclaim His victory to all the departed Old Testament saints. Now that place called Abraham's Bosom is empty. God loves you with a love so strong, so deep, that He sent His Son to die on your behalf. If you want Jesus to live in you and to receive eternal life, pray the salvation prayer here. 20 Mar 2016 - Palm Sunday: Send Salvation, Send Prosperity! - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineWhen you are a believer, everywhere you go, it's like Heaven on earth! The Lord's protection is with you. It is in the Lord that we have refuge and safety because He puts us in the right place at the right time. Always address the Lord as your Refuge and your Hiding Place. The most important event that took place in history is the cross. There are 89 chapters in the four gospels. Out of the 89 chapters, there are only 4 chapters about Jesus' birth and the first 30 years of His life. But 85 chapters are about His 3 and a half years of ministry on earth. 27 chapters are about the last days of His life on earth. The world emphasizes Jesus' birth and they only see Him as a good person who existed, but the Holy Spirit emphasizes on Jesus' death and resurrection. Jesus is not just a good Person. Jesus is either who He says He is, the Son of God, or He is the world's greatest liar. But we know that He is the Son of God. The world will get darker and darker, but the church will get better and better, and brighter and brighter. Jesus will return to this earth before the world messes up. The world will not end by a nuclear disaster. When He returns at His Second Coming, Jesus' feet will touch the Mount of Olives and the mount will be split in half. The Rapture is a bodily salvation. We will have a new body that is no longer subject to corruption and death. We are all looking forward to the Rapture. Science tells us that the universe is still expanding. For what purpose? The universe is the playground for God's children! Today is Palm Sunday which is 6 days before Jesus was crucified. Jesus went into Jerusalem riding on the colt of a young donkey. He is a humble King. He won't come back riding on a donkey - Jesus will return riding a white horse! There have been many dictators in history, but none of them can rule like Jesus, who will rule with kindness, righteousness and justice!
