10 July 2022 - How Supply Comes Under Grace - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how God wants us to enjoy His supernatural provision and health as we keep our eyes on Jesus. Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Won’t Stop Now - Elevation Worship 2. For My Good - New Creation Worship 3. Pride Of A Father - Hillsong Music 4. You Alone - Don Harris Grace is all about supply, Law is all about demand. Go by your spiritual discernment instead of just simply believing what is reported in the media about the body of Christ. The “anointing” is a ‘moving noun’. It is something dynamic and active. If you are a believer, it abides in you and teaches all things. Your mind wants to dominate you and it will never be satisfied, but God made you a spirit (the real you). You live in a body. Take care of your body, and trust the Lord to keep you healthy. The feeling of ‘deja vu’ is because your spirit saw that moment before it happened. The dead cannot come back. Familiar spirits impersonate the dead. The Scriptures confirm what your born-again spirit already knows on the inside. Matthew 6:25 - Your life is more important than material things and your body (health) is more important than clothing. God wants us to live carefree. “Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?” (Matthew 6:25 WEBUS) We are more valuable than the birds and yet our Heavenly Father even cares for the birds. We were created to look up and worship God. Everything that has breath was created to praise the Lord. Matthew 6:24-25 - Your life is wasting away if your purpose in life is to pursue money. ““No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon. Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?” (Matthew 6:24-25 WEBUS) People actively pursue wealth because of in unbelief. They do not believe that God can take care of them. When you keep your eyes on the Lord, He will supply all your needs. You will have more than enough, with enough to give and share with others. It is easy to see the harvest in someone’s life but not easy to see when they are sowing. The harvest comes after the season of sowing. God gave you His precious Son because He loves you. He will surely not withhold all other good things (which are lesser in value). The world always puts God out of the picture. Put Him in your situation.

3 July 2022 - Jesus Keeps Giving and Giving - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince encouraged us not to worry about tomorrow, and that there is more than enough grace for today. God will keep providing for all your needs day by day! Praise and Worship Song Performed:
The purpose of New Creation Church is to dust off and preach the Gospel of Grace that the Apostle Paul preached back then. God speaks to us especially at night when we are quiet and not using our phones. When you have free time, meditate on His word and pray to see what He is saying. God told Pastor Prince that He wants the Gospel to go forth faster, further, and stronger. Pastor Prince feels like he should remove the pay wall from his sermon messages (intellectual property). He feels like Joseph in the Bible who was asked to store up grain during the years of plenty so that he can open up the storehouse in the years of famine to be distributed to all. Ecclesiastes 1:9 - There is a principle in the Bible whereby that which once was is that which is, and what which shall be. There is nothing new under the sun. Pastor Prince senses that there is a season of famine coming. We can learn from the types in the Old Testament to discover what kind of steps and wisdom God gave back then. These can be applied to our lives today. “That which has been is that which shall be, and that which has been done is that which shall be done; and there is no new thing under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9 WEBUS) If we can work to our own perfect standard of righteousness, then there is no need for Jesus. Righteousness can only be received as a gift. The Book of Genesis is a mirror with The Book of Revelation. The Garden of Eden had a Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, but Paradise in The Book of Revelation does not. Paradise in Revelation is greater in scale and grandeur. In marriage, there is no “God’s perfect choice” or “one and only”. There is only “God’s appointed one”. 26 June 2022 - Abundant Blessings of Third Day Christians - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince showed us how we are in the Lord’s prophetic third day whereby great outpourings of God’s blessings and deliverance from the enemy will be seen upon the church! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Give Me This Mountain - New Creation Worship 2. That’s The Name - Hillsong Music 3. Jesus Shall Take Highest Honor 4. I Stand In Awe Of You Each one of us have a calling and purpose deposited into us even before we were born. When you fulfill your calling, you are more royal and fulfilled than anyone. Fame is empty. It cannot satisfy your heart. Matthew 16:25 - The more you try to save yourself in a thing, the more out of reach it seems. However, when you ‘lose your life’ for Christ, you will find it. After sacrificing your time and resources, you may come back to find that your desires have been fulfilled for you. “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 16:25 WEBUS) Success is doing what you were born to do. Do not die as a copy. This year, rest and God will accelerate His blessings in your life. 2 Peter 3:8 - When the Scriptures say do not forget, then we need to remember this. In this verse is the principle of time calculation with the Lord: one day with the Lord is as a thousand human years. “But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” (2 Peter 3:8 WEBUS) Hosea 6:2-3 - We are living in the time of after two thousand years after Jesus. We are in the third day. Jesus rose on the third day very early in the morning. This is a divine hint. We are going to see a lot of life and health in these last days—God will “revive” us. The Rapture will happen on the third day, perhaps very early in the morning like the time of Jesus’ resurrection. When we are in our new glorified body, we will not be floating around like a ghost. That body will have flesh and bones and it will be able to eat food. It will be much greater than our current mortal body. For any seed that we sow, we must depend on God for the harvest. The spring rain falls first, causing the seeds sown to sprout. Then the latter rain comes next year, causing the crops to plump up and be ready for harvest. The spring rain in noun form becomes “moreh” in Hebrew which means “teacher”. A teacher speaks words of wisdom and life. “After two days he will revive us. On the third day he will raise us up, and we will live before him. Let’s acknowledge Yahweh. Let’s press on to know Yahweh. As surely as the sun rises, Yahweh will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”” (Hosea 6:2-3 WEBUS) 29 May 2022 - Understanding Grace and Discipleship - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us to humbly see Jesus as our Savior daily and not just as a Teacher to emulate. God loves it when we leave “man’s world” to enter His world by grace. Praise and Worship Song Performed: (I missed the first one or two songs) 1. For My Good - New Creation Worship 2. The Stand - Hillsong Music 3. King Of My Heart - Sarah McMillan Nicodemus the theologian came to Jesus at night whereas Jesus went to the woman of Samaria during the daytime. Jesus loves sinners. To Nicodemus, Jesus said “You must be born again.” To the woman, Jesus never used that tone. The first thing that Nicodemus said to Jesus is, “We know…” The erudite ones always think they know. However, it was to the woman that Jesus revealed Himself clearly as the Messiah. Jesus is primarily our Savior, not just a Teacher. Jesus is the bread of life and the living water. You eat the bread and drink the water. Jesus was distant with Nicodemus but gentle with the woman. He praised her, pointed out that she was living with a man who was not her husband, and then praised her again—a ‘divine sandwich’ of praise. The woman received great grace from Jesus and she became an instant evangelist, boldly telling all about Him. After ministering to the woman, Jesus was refreshed because a sinner had taken from the Savior. It was like food to Him. Luke 15:1 - Luke 15 is a continuation from Luke 14. “Now” (or sometimes translated as “Then”) connects the two chapters. “Now all the tax collectors and sinners were coming close to him to hear him.” (Luke 15:1 WEB) Luke 15:2 - Jesus was a friend of sinners. He did not avoid them. “The Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, “This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them.”” (Luke 15:2 WEB) The Law (the Ten Commandments) demands righteousness from man whereas Grace supplies righteousness to man. God punished our sins in Jesus at the cross so that we can be declared righteous today. This is the holiness of God that has to punish sin. 22 May 2022 - Sonship is Greater Than Discipleship - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us the simple truth of what discipleship means, and how sonship is the way God wants Christians to live by under the New Covenant of Grace. Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Who You Say I Am - Hillsong Music 2. Trust In The Lord - New Creation Worship 3. How Great Thou Art You cannot just wait for Sundays to get into God’s word. There is so much that God wants to teach you. We are to be students of God’s grace. Jesus said that plagues, rumors of wars, and wars will be on the increase. We are living in these times. Bible study becomes fun when the Holy Spirit leads you in it. He gives you the rhema word and it is life to all your flesh. The Scriptures say that God’s people perish because of the lack of knowledge. God’s word reveals the true nature of things to us, and gives us His wisdom and knowledge. The word “disciple” is from the Greeks word “mathétés”, and in Hebrew it is “limud”. A disciple is nothing more than someone who is learning—a student. Disciples means a follower of a certain teacher (Rabbi). A Christian cannot help but be hungry for God’s word. We are the righteousness of God in Christ. When a butterfly falls among trash, it is still a butterfly. It does not turn back into a caterpillar. If you have been saved, you are still saved even if you have failed. You are a new creation in Christ. There were disciples before there were Christians. Some people teach that to become a Christian is free because Jesus paid the cost, but to be a disciple there is a high cost. The flesh loves this, but actually it is regressing. It is in the heart of every believer to learn. A baby does not have to be taught how to be hungry. A baby already hungers and cries out for milk. A greater thing than disciple is a son of God, which is what we are. 8 May 2022 - See The Right Heart-Pictures - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us to see ourselves as dead to sin, and righteous in Christ. We do not live based on transient feeling, but on the truth of God’s word! Praise and Worship Song Performed: (I missed a song before this) 1. Everlasting - New Creation Worship 2. Through It All - Hillsong Music 3. In Jesus’ Name (God Of Possible) - Katy Nichole For women who want a child for more than two years but have not yet seen the manifestation, this will be your year to receive a miracle! Psalm 91:16 - The first reason that God blesses us with long life is to see Jesus. Just like how God kept Simeon alive to see Jesus. “I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.”” (Psalms 91:16 WEB) For believers, we are not looking for the grave. We are looking towards the sky for our Lord’s return. We are not waiting for the undertaker, but the upper-taker! The world is after your heart. Advertisers and marketers just want to appeal directly to your heart. The Scriptures will always outlast facts because it is the truth. Believers no longer have a sinful nature. We still get tempted to sin because of the flesh. The flesh is the carryover—the residue of the sinful nature. Our spirits are new creations in Christ. Unbelief is the mother of all sins. Before other sins happen, there is first unbelief. When we receive a new body at the Rapture, we will have no more temptation to sin. We will never become old, sick, weak, or dead. Your body is not dirty. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. The value of something depends on how much a person is willing to pay for it. When you were dead in your sins and hopeless, God paid with the death of His Son so that you could be saved. That is how valuable you are to Him. There is a false premise being taught about holiness. You do not do holy things to become holy. You have already become holy so you can do holy things. The ‘try-harder Christianity’ is not according to the true Gospel. In Christ, we are already created in true holiness and righteousness. Death and judgment are behind us. Grace and glory are ahead of us. We are on the other side of the grave. When a believer dies, it is just “falling asleep”. Your private time spent with the Lord is your “root life”. Be rooted in Christ. Be led by the Lord on what to share about your life in public. Do not unnecessarily give the enemy ammunition to hit you with. There are people who like sermons that tell them what to do. They think James is practical but Paul is not. We love others because God first loved us. We need to know the cause that enables us to do what is good and right. The devil especially attacks women (like the way he tempted Eve first) because they have a tendency to take things into their own hands to help the people they love. This is especially true if their husbands are not stepping up to do what needs to be done. The women’s enthusiasm to help opens them up to more failures caused by the devil. Jesus is the seventh man to the woman of Samaria whom He met by the well. He is the perfect man who delivered her. Most Jews bypass Samaria when they travel. However Jesus needed to go through Samaria because He needed to minister to that woman. It was not a must of geography, but of love. 1 May 2022 - The Imaginations Of Your Heart - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us about the creative power in the imaginations of our heart. God’s word shows that out of our heart flows the forces of life. Guard your heart above all else! Praise and Worship Song Performed:
Remind yourself that you are the righteousness of God in Christ. Our sins are not just covered—they have been removed. There is still sin IN our flesh, but God does not see sin ON us. Atonement just means a covering. Jesus is the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world. Israel changed gods and started to offer their sons to Molech instead of the sin offering of the lamb to the true God. When Israel did this, they were brought into Babylonian captivity. After Israel came back from Babylon, they never went back to idolatry. People have this bad trait of wanting things they cannot have and discrediting what they do have. This is of the flesh. Proverbs 4:20-23 - Firstly, God’s word enters the ear gate. It also enters the eye gate. These gates are what allows entry into your heart. In all your guarding, guard your heart as the most important thing. Let God’s word enter your heart and it will be health to all your flesh. The “heart” here spoken of is “lev” in Hebrew, not “ruach” which is spirit. Your heart is not your spirit. “My son, attend to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.” (Proverbs 4:20-23 WEB) Genesis 6:5 - The word “imagination” here is “yeser” in Hebrew. The imaginations in one’s heart will eventually manifest in the outside. “Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil.” (Genesis 6:5 WEB) Being saved in Christ is like being inside Noah’s ark. Even if you fall, you fall safely within the Ark. There is security in Christ. The Lord said to Noah, “come into the Ark.” After that, He said, “Go outside the Ark.” This is the mark of a leader—first one in and last one out. 17 April 2022 - Resurrection Is Greater Than Death - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince preached a powerful message about resurrection power, and also ministered in worship and words of knowledge for healing. A very timely sermon for Resurrection Sunday! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. This Is Amazing Grace - Bethel Music 2. Worthy Is The Lamb - Darlene Zschech 3. You Are My King - New Creation Worship 4. O Praise The Name (Anástasis) - Hillsong Music 5. Rest And Receive (One Thing) - Michael Davis 6. Everlasting - New Creation Worship Pastor Prince ministered in worship and words of knowledge for healing. Pastor Prince asked us to learn this song and sing it this week (tune demonstrated in the audio file above). As you do so, the Lord will set you free and deliver you: “You are my hiding place You always fill my heart With songs of deliverance Whenever I am afraid I will trust in You I will trust in You Let the weak say I am strong In the strength of the Lord” -- Don’t live in the future. Jesus told us to let not our hearts be afraid or troubled. He has given us His peace. We need to choose to let our hearts not be troubled. Our God is a present-day God. He will supply our daily bread. The past is gone and something that cannot be changed. God says He is “I AM that I AM”. It is not a question of coming and going. It is about appearing and disappearing. The resurrected Jesus transcends time and space. He can appear here and disappear instantly. Death was once the greatest power on earth. Now, resurrection is the greatest power. There were some instances of bringing the dead back to life in the four gospels. Jairus’ daughter died and was raised shortly. The widow of Nain’s son was raised on the same day where he died. Lazarus was raised four days after he died. Jesus is not moved by human sentiment. He waited two more days before going to Lazarus. Death tried to come for Jesus multiple times but it could not take Him before the time. At the cross, Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Finished!” He laid down His life—He did not die from weakness. 3 April 2022 - Simple Things Used Powerfully By God - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince encouraged us to rely on God’s ways rather than the ways of the world. With God’s power backing you up, even simple things will produce mighty results! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Cornerstone - Hillsong Worship 2. Lavish Love - New Creation Worship 3. I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever - Martin Smith 1 Samuel 13:5-7 - Saul was the first king of Israel. People followed him while trembling with fear. “The Philistines assembled themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the seashore in multitude. They came up and encamped in Michmash, eastward of Beth Aven. When the men of Israel saw that they were in trouble (for the people were distressed), then the people hid themselves in caves, in thickets, in rocks, in tombs, and in pits. Now some of the Hebrews had gone over the Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead; but as for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.” (1 Samuel 13:5-7 WEB) 1 Samuel 13:11 - Saul was a fleshly man who lived by sight. He offered up a sacrifice that he was not allowed to. Samuel should have been the one to do it. “Samuel said, “What have you done?” Saul said, “Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you didn’t come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines assembled themselves together at Michmash;” (1 Samuel 13:11 WEB) 2 Corinthians 5:7 - We are to walk by faith, not by sight. “for we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7 WEB) 1 Samuel 13:14 - The flesh does not want to wait upon the Lord. “But now your kingdom will not continue. Yahweh has sought for himself a man after his own heart, and Yahweh has appointed him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept that which Yahweh commanded you.”” (1 Samuel 13:14 WEB) Exodus 14:13 - We are to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, instead of acting upon the impulses of the flesh. “Moses said to the people, “Don’t be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of Yahweh, which he will work for you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall never see them again.” (Exodus 14:13 WEB) In leadership, we operate by the Lord’s leading, not to please the people. 1 Samuel 13:15-16 - The Philistines came so close to the capital of the territory of Benjamin, Gibeah where Saul ruled from. “Samuel arose, and went from Gilgal to Gibeah of Benjamin. Saul counted the people who were present with him, about six hundred men. Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people who were present with them, stayed in Geba of Benjamin; but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.” (1 Samuel 13:15-16 WEB) 1 Samuel 13:17-18 - Some of the Israelites were fearful and defecting to the Philistines. A part of the body of Christ today have this mindset of expecting to be oppressed by the enemy instead of expecting the God-kind or overcoming victory. “The raiders came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned to the way that leads to Ophrah, to the land of Shual; another company turned the way to Beth Horon; and another company turned the way of the border that looks down on the valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.” (1 Samuel 13:17-18 WEB) Zechariah 4:6 - We cannot fight the devil with his own fleshly weapons. It is only possible by the Holy Spirit. “Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, “This is Yahweh’s word to Zerubbabel, saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Yahweh of Armies.” (Zechariah 4:6 WEB) 13 March 2022 - Four Pillars Of A Thriving Church - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught about the work of the Holy Spirit in the church, and how four important pillars that existed since the church was born empower us to flow with the will of God! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. For My Good - New Creation Worship 2. As The Deer - Martin Nystrom The church of Jesus Christ is God’s idea. When we gather we as a church, the Holy Spirit works with His manifold graces and diverse giftings to edify and minister to all. After the exile to Babylon, Jerusalem never reverted to idolatry again. Sometimes tough times teach us important lessons. Haggai 1:6, 9 - The Jews were suffering from lack because they neglected the house of God. “You have sown much, and bring in little. You eat, but you don’t have enough. You drink, but you aren’t filled with drink. You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm, and he who earns wages earns wages to put them into a bag with holes in it.” “You looked for much, and, behold, it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says Yahweh of Armies, “Because of my house that lies waste, while each of you is busy with his own house.” (Haggai 1:6, 9 WEB) Revelation 11:8-9 - This was impossible in the past such that people mocked it, but now with the Internet and satellite TV, this is made possible. “Their dead bodies will be in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. From among the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations people will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not allow their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.” (Revelation 11:8-9 WEB) 1 Corinthians 10:32 - When God looks down on earth, He only sees these three groups of people: Jew, Gentile, and the church of God. “Give no occasion for stumbling, either to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the assembly of God;” (1 Corinthians 10:32 WEB) Matthew 16:18 - The church is on the offense and making inroads. The gates of Hell are defensive. “I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18 WEB) Matthew 18:20 - Two or three is the smallest plurality. When the Holy Spirit gathers believers together in Jesus’ name, that is the church. “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”” (Matthew 18:20 WEB) 1 Corinthians 12:27 - We are individual members of the body of Christ. “Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.” (1 Corinthians 12:27 WEB) Ephesians 5:30 - Jesus’ glorified body has flesh and bones. “because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.” (Ephesians 5:30 WEB) 1 John 4:17 - Confess that you are one with Jesus. You have healthy flesh and bones just like Him. “In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.” (1 John 4:17 WEB) Colossians 4:14 - Luke is a beloved physician. “Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas greet you.” (Colossians 4:14 WEB) Luke 6:6 - Luke recorded details like this: he pointed out that it was the man’s right hand which was withered. “It also happened on another Sabbath that he entered into the synagogue and taught. There was a man there, and his right hand was withered.” (Luke 6:6 WEB) Luke 1:3 - Theophilus was likely a high-ranking Roman official. “it seemed good to me also, having traced the course of all things accurately from the first, to write to you in order, most excellent Theophilus;” (Luke 1:3 WEB) Acts 1:1 - Luke is also the author of the Book of Acts. The Gospel of Luke is about the thirty plus years of the life of Christ. Book of Acts is an account of the thirty plus years of church life in the body of Christ. “The first book I wrote, Theophilus, concerned all that Jesus began both to do and to teach,” (Acts 1:1 WEB) Luke 1:35 - The Holy Spirit was involved in the conception of Jesus in Mary’s womb. “The angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you will be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35 WEB) Galatians 4:4 - The fullness of the time here is talking about Jesus’ birth. “But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,” (Galatians 4:4 WEB) Acts 2:1-2 - Luke is talking about the birth of the church here. The church is still growing today and it is winning. “Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place. Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” (Acts 2:1-2 WEB) The way the Lord wants to bring His supply to you is primarily through the church. He wants you to be planted in a local church. Matthew 28:18-19 - When a traffic police lifts up his hand, it is not his own physical strength that stops an incoming truck, but the authority that is backing him. We have God-given authority in the name of Jesus. “Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” (Matthew 28:18-19 WEB) Mark 16:20 - The Gospel of Mark portrays Jesus as strong to labor like an ox. Jesus is depicted as an untiring servant. In the first chapter, it opens with words like “immediately”, “at once”, and “suddenly”, indicating prompt service. “They went out, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.” (Mark 16:20 WEB) God gave authority to Adam. What He gives He never takes back. Adam lost that authority when he obeyed Satan in sinning. God used a legal channel to reclaim the authority which was taken by Satan. He did this by sending Jesus to die at the cross to pay for all our sins. Acts 8:29 - It was the Holy Spirit who led Philip to meet the Ethiopian royal eunuch and evangelize to him. “The Spirit said to Philip, “Go near, and join yourself to this chariot.”” (Acts 8:29 WEB) Acts 13:2 - The Holy Spirit asked for Paul and Barnabbas to be separated for His purpose. “As they served the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Separate Barnabas and Saul for me, for the work to which I have called them.”” (Acts 13:2 WEB) Acts 16:7 - The Holy Spirit restrains us from making unfruitful choices. He helps us be at the right place at the right time. “When they had come opposite Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit didn’t allow them.” (Acts 16:7 WEB) 2 Thessalonians 2:6 - The Holy Spirit is found in the church. He is the one restraining the worst evil from happening on earth. This will change during the Tribulation after the Rapture happens. “Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.” (2 Thessalonians 2:6 WEB) Matthew 5:13-14 - We have the Holy Spirit who makes us salt and light that purifies and cleanses. ““You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men. You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.” (Matthew 5:13-14 WEB) The anointing of the Holy Spirit makes things effortlessly easy. It is like oil being added to the hinge of a creaking door. It is a flow that makes things prosper and effortlessly easy. Matthew 24:6 - The end is not yet. The Holy Spirit in us restrains the worst from happening. “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.” (Matthew 24:6 WEB) Acts 2:4 - The Holy Spirit empowered the disciples to speak in tongues. “They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.” (Acts 2:4 WEB) Luke 2:52 - This is the last verse in Luke chapter 2. “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” (Luke 2:52 WEB) Acts 2:47 - This is the last verse in Acts 2 which is a parallel to Luke 2:52. When God blesses the church, it grows in stature as well. “praising God, and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to the assembly day by day those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:47 WEB) |
