30 September 2018 - Keys to Health and Provision through Faith - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPraise and Worship songs performed:
Believers overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of His testimony. Sharing a testimony of what Jesus has done for us has power to overcome the enemy. It all traces back to what Jesus did for us at the cross! Jesus was made poor at the cross so that we can be rich. The context is clear that it’s about material riches. God wants you rich and abundantly supplied. He doesn’t want you to be struggling. Provision is paid for by what Jesus did at the cross. Our sowing is not a debt we owe. It’s a seed we sow. Tithing is for rich people (all believers) who want to acknowledge the Source of their blessings. If you’re a believer, you’re rich whether you know it, experience it, or not. Conquering a land and possessing a land are two different things. Joshua conquered the land of Canaan but didn’t fully possess the land. There are many enemies sitting in the squatters of the land that is meant to be ours. There is much land that’s yet to be possessed. We possess it by having an excellent spirit of faith like Caleb had. Possessing your possessions can be progressive. We don’t have to worry about when the manifestation will happen. Just keep believing and persevering in faith. We will soon see thirtyfold, sixtyfold, and eventually hundredfold manifestation. Luke 4:24-30 - Jesus is a Man who succeeded out of Nazareth, the small town that He was born in. People despised His humble background of being a carpenter’s son. God can use you, no matter what’s your background. In fact, the darker your background, the more glorious it will be when God uses you - all to His glory. If you say your life is messed up, then good - you are material for God’s Grace. Not many rich and powerful people in the world are used by God to become believers for His glory because they have a tendency to trust in their own strength, connections and qualifications. Sidon was a big and bustling city that belonged to the Gentiles. It’s not part of Israel. Miracle of provision - The widow of Zarephath was not even a Jew. She was a Gentile. Through prophet Elijah, she received supernatural multiplication of oil. Oil was an important necessity. Pastor Prince recommends us to cook with olive oil because it’s healthy. There were many widows in Israel but Elijah was not sent to any of them. There were many lepers in Israel but none of them were healed except for Naaman the Syrian who was a Gentile. The prophet Elisha asked Naaman to dip himself in the river Jordan seven times and his skin (flesh) was completely restored and smooth like a baby. We can receive this youth restoration too! When Jesus healed the leper, it was the first time that it ever happened in Israel. Under grace, when the clean touches the unclean, the unclean becomes clean. Despite the huge crowd pushing Jesus to the edge of the cliff like a hoard of zombies, Jesus just cooly walking right though the midst of them. He is the One who parted the Red Sea. Grace is like that. If you don’t want it, it will just move on to someone else who wants it. It will not force its blessings onto you. Jesus with all His anointing was present to heal them and provide for them, but the people of Nazareth missed it. “He said, “Most certainly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown. But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land. Elijah was sent to none of them, except to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow. There were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed, except Naaman, the Syrian.” They were all filled with wrath in the synagogue, as they heard these things. They rose up, threw him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill that their city was built on, that they might throw him off the cliff. But he, passing through the middle of them, went his way.” (Luke 4:24-30 WEB) Faith will cause us to possess our possessions and make real what has already been given to us in Christ. Luke 4:16-23 - Pastor Prince doesn’t preach much about the Second Coming of Christ and the Day of Vengeance because it’s not time for that yet. Now we are in the dispensation of Grace - the acceptable year of the Lord. When you are anointed, all eyes are fastened on you. “He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. He entered, as was his custom, into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. The book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. He opened the book, and found the place where it was written, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed, and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him. He began to tell them, “Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.” All testified about him, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth, and they said, “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?” He said to them, “Doubtless you will tell me this parable, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done at Capernaum, do also here in your hometown.’”” (Luke 4:16-23 WEB)

23 September 2018 - The Secret of Unlimited Faith in God - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPraise and Worship songs performed: (I missed some songs)
The Grace Revolution is happening all over the world. It’s not something new - it’s something being restored to the church. The gospel is our bread and drink which gives us life. It’s not just a tool to get people saved by. The gospel of grace was first given to the Apostle Paul. It wasn’t given to Pastor Prince, he just rediscovered it. If you believe in anything other than the gospel of grace, you are believing in an anti-Christ doctrine. The spirit of antichrist is working in the church to remove Jesus from the centrality of the church. Jesus is the Bread and the Life, the Alpha and Omega - He is Everything and He is the greatest Gift that God has given to us. If God spared not His own Son, how will He not with Him freely give us all other things? If God holds back provision or healing from you, it’s like God saying that provision and healing are more precious than Jesus. No, when God gave us Jesus, He already gave us provision and healing. At the baptism of Jesus, the heavens opened to Jesus. Today when Jesus is preached, the heavens open to Him. You will never know how much God loves you until you know how much God loves Jesus. It’s important to study the names and titles of Jesus. By knowing Him, we know our place. The greatest knowledge is to know God the Father and Jesus Christ whom the Father has sent. At the cross, all the consequences of sin were placed upon Jesus’ body. When we believe in Jesus, all the consequences of righteousness come upon us as well. Jesus did not deserve the consequences of our sins, and likewise we don’t deserve the consequences of the righteousness that we have received - it is by God’s grace. 26 August 2018 - The Tenth Sanctifies the Whole - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPraise and Worship songs performed: (I may have missed out songs before this)
This message is a continuation of Pastor Prince's previous sermon "Draw the Blood Line of Protection". God has increased New Creation Church numerically, the church has increased financially, and people in the church have blossomed into families. Every time Pastor Prince is preparing for a message, he feels overwhelmed because he wants to preach the word that is from the Lord. For preachers and teachers, never preach according to people’s faces. If you have a word from the Lord, you have to release that. Preachers cannot just preach any message because the message must be from the Lord. It can’t just be scriptural - it has to be a word in season, a prophetic word. Pastor Prince had received word from the Lord to preach this message that you're reading but he felt uncomfortable to preach about the topic, so he proceeded to prepare a different message. Then at 12am, he felt like he wasn't happy about the message he had prepared, so he was obedient to prepare the original word that the Lord has for us. It's an uncomfortable topic for Pastor Prince because the message is about how to prosper, and he doesn't want to receive criticism or people labelling and condemning him as a 'prosperity preacher' who is preaching the 'prosperity gospel' or 'health and wealth gospel'. God’s is concerned about us, and it is His desire that we should prosper in every area of our lives. The word for prosper used in the Old Testament is the Hebrew word “Saliak”. If Pastor Prince preaches himself happy it’s because he has released the word that God wants him to preach. Isaiah 60:1-5 - There will be a Millennium where Christ rules on earth. Christians won’t have to hide while worshipping God. This passage is not referring to the Millennial Reign of Christ because there won’t be darkness covering the earth during that time. This passage is talking about our time. It seems like the devil knows that his time is short and that Jesus is coming back soon. Despite the deep darkness, the glory of the Lord will be visible upon us. Potiphar, a heathen, could see the glory of God upon Joseph. It’s a visible token. Familial reconciliation will take place for us too. The wealth of the Gentiles will come to us too. Study the life of Joseph because what has happened for him will happen for us too. Study the lives of Abraham and Lot - one is a victorious believer and the other a defeated believer. Which one do you want to be? “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. “Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; Your sons shall come from afar, And your daughters shall be nursed at your side. Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.” (Isaiah 60:1-5 NKJV) I Corinthians 10:11 - The Old Testament has value for us today. God has hidden great truths in it. It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but it is the glory of king to search out a matter. The Old Testament is the New concealed. The New Testament is the Old revealed. Everything that happened in the Old Testament happened as an example for us. “Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.” (I Corinthians 10:11 NKJV) Romans 15:4 - Hope is a confident expectation of good. Even if you receive a negative report from the doctor, you can still have hope. Hope is seeing brightness where darkness was. When God created the earth, He saw darkness on the face of earth, and He said “Light be”. He called forth what He wanted to see. On the night of the tenth plague in Egypt, the blood of the lamb was applied on the lintel and the doorposts, outside the house. The blood of Christ is not for us to see, it’s for God to see. Even if we don't feel the protection of the blood of Christ on us, it is still as effective because God sees it. Only God can correctly estimate the value and preciousness of the blood of His Son. It’s not about how great your faith is. It’s about the greatness of the Person you’re putting your trust in. If you have trust in the right Person, even touching the hem of that Person is enough for you to be healed. The work of Christ on the cross makes you safe, but it is the word of God (“when I see the blood I will pass over you”) that makes you sure. “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.” (Romans 15:4 NKJV) 19 August 2018 - We are Protected by the Blood of Jesus - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPraise and Worship songs performed: (I missed out a song or two before this)
This young generation is exposed to things that the previous generations were not exposed to. The young ones today are growing up fast and not growing according to the correct seasons. The devil is starting them young on pornography, violence etc, so why are they deemed too young to receive the Holy Spirit? They need the gospel of grace too. There was a young generation of the children of Israel who were born in the wilderness, not in the atmosphere of slavery in Egypt, but in the atmosphere of miracles. They saw God as a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. They saw Him defeat their enemies supernaturally. The devil is always playing catch up to God. The devil’s works are more visible but what God does is invisible and more powerful because it is eternal. We’re in the best of generations - the Rapture can happen at anytime. We are the generation that delights in God’s word. We know that the Bible is the Creator’s handbook. This generation is exposed to moral degradation but when deep darkness covers the world, the believers will shine brightly because the glory of God is seen upon them. Believers are planted by the rivers of water. It doesn’t matter whether there’s a heatwave or drought. We will bring forth fruit in our season, our leaves will not wither and whatever we do prospers, even our mistakes. There is a young generation now that believes that everything they do prospers. It’s not boastfulness but they really believe in God’s word - they are greedy (in a good way) for God’s blessings - God likes that. In the Book of Revelation, it says that “the leaves were used for the healing of the nations”. Leaves are linked to health. Our health will not wither. Turkey and Russia will join forces to wage war against Israel in the future (Ezekiel 38) - it’s not clear whether it will be before or after the Rapture. 12 August 2018 - The Power to Remain Alive and Enjoy Long Life - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPraise and Worship songs performed:
In the church there is no man or woman, Jew or Gentile - there’s just the church of God. When God looks down, He only sees three groups of people: the Jews, Gentiles and the Church. You must discern when reading a piece of Scripture, which of the three groups it’s addressing in the Bible. Sometimes it’s written to you, sometimes it’s written to another group, but can still be for our benefit. God’s blessing is not visible, but it produces that which is visible and palpable. You can see the favor of God in action on a person - it produces results. Favor is seen in the results, but actually favor is spiritual blessing. Wisdom also can’t be touched, but its results are tangible. A chair that you can see with your eyes already existed long ago when it was still in the craftsman’s mind, before it was even built. When God gives you a spiritual blessing for your marriage, you can’t see it, but you can see the results when you cultivate your marriage using that gift. God places desires in your heart to lead you into His will for your life. For example if He wants you to be a musician, He will give you the desire to learn about music, to appreciate music and to want to continue cultivating your musical skills. The Bible says that man looks on the outward appearance but God looks at the heart. You don’t have to dress shabbily. That’s a practical piece of wisdom that you can use in your life and ministry. Even when you have received a spiritual gift, there is still a place for cultivating your gift. That’s not living by Law or works. You can press deeper into the gift you have received, and ask the Lord to teach you more. Then the impartation of your gift will be more powerful. For example, Pastor Prince prayed for God to give him more indisputable words of knowledge (one of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit) so that God would definitely get the glory. God asked him whether he was prepared to be wrong, even in front of the whole congregation. Pastor Prince said yes he’s prepared and he has since been receiving more words of knowledge from the Lord. 5 August 2018 - Hesed Wisdom that Leads you to Profit in Life - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church National Day ServicePraise and Worship songs performed: (I missed out a song or two before this)
One of the reasons why God blesses Singapore so much is because it’s His way to bless the small, insignificant, weak of the earth to confound the mighty. Make sure to pray for your nation - it is God’s righteousness that exalts a nation. Every nation that fell, first fell from within. They fell morally first. Pastor Prince received words of knowledge to pray for an elder lady who was diagnosed with cancer, for people who had severe ulcers, people with elbow pain, a person who was retrenched, a person with persistent tummy pain - it was a psychosomatic sickness, and a person who was being tempted to commit adultery with a male colleague at work. God is a Spirit - there is no distance with the healing anointing. You can receive healing from Him right where you are. God expects us to be diligent. Many people are confused about how to receive grace and yet be hardworking without making it works. Colossians 3:23-24 - Even the mundane tasks at work, do it as unto the Lord. You will receive your reward from the Lord, not your boss. “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” (Colossians 3:23-24 NKJV) 29 July 2018 - Grace is the Cure for Bitterness and Sexual Immorality - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPraise and Worship songs performed: (I missed out some songs before this)
This world is a hurting world. When Jesus walked on earth, He saw the multitudes as sheep without a shepherd. He had compassion on them. God’s heart is so big compared to ours and He’s so generous. He wants to give, give and give again. He wants our obedience and trust in Him because the benefits are for us. When He tells us to do something, it’s for our good - He can see into our future and help us avert dangers. The Lord is the One who teaches us how to profit. When the children of Israel followed the cloud in the wilderness, they prospered and succeeded in their ways. Lovers don’t yell at each other. They speak softly and lovingly in whispered tones to each other. A soft answer turns away wrath. The Lord speaks to us in a quiet whisper. Elijah encountered God back at Mount Sinai. When Elijah went there, God asked him “Why are you here Elijah?”. Elijah thought that God would thunder down from Sinai in the fire, wind and earthquake, but God was in the still, small voice. God doesn’t discipline us with accidents. Accidents happen due to our own negligence or attacks from the enemy. God disciplines us through His word or through other people who are like us, but worse, so that we despise that same trait that we see in others. Hebrews 12:9-11 - When we submit to God’s discipline, we will live. Fatal car accidents are not God’s discipline because we won’t live. We partake of the Lord’s holiness by identifying ourselves with His holiness. Example: by declaring “The Lord Jesus is my holiness”. “Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” (Hebrews 12:9-11 NKJV) 22 July 2018 - Blessed through Discipline and Attacks - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPraise and Worship songs performed: (I missed out some songs before this)
In God’s kingdom there is no time. He can accelerate your growth, He can give you a miracle such that you get what you need faster than it would happen in the natural. In the midst of your sin, confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ. God calls those things that are not as though they are. Abram wanted children but he and his wife were barren. God changed Abram’s name to Abraham which means “Father of Multitudes” so every time he introduced himself, he was calling the things that were not as though they were. Right believing will lead to right living. Jesus said by their fruits you will know them. People can’t break addictions by themselves. It takes Jesus. Not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit. Not all things in our lives are good. Sometimes they are from the devil, sometimes they are problems of our own making. But God will work all these things together for our good. Jesus was never sick. Jesus never lacked financial provision. He is truly prosperous - There was always supply when He had a need. Jesus became poor at the cross. He was destitute of every material good there. He became poor so that we could become rich. There is still sin in us, but not on us. God does not see our sins on us - they were already punished in the body of Jesus at the cross! Isaiah 53:5 - The word “bruised” in Hebrew means “crushed”. The word “chastisement” in Hebrew means “punishment”. “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5 NKJV) 18 July 2018 - Encounter Night: If God is for You, What can be Against You - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPraise and Worship songs performed:
Psalms 116:12-13 - The best way to thank God for His benefits to you is to take some more from Him. He sees that as a thank-you. “What shall I render to the LORD For all His benefits toward me? I will take up the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of the LORD.” (Psalms 116:12-13 NKJV) Pastor Prince spoke prophetically that there’s a “turnaround” coming in your life - your finances, health, relationships, etc! This is a service of receiving. “Dead spots” in your life will come alive again (examples: parts of your body because of aging, your memory) The Holy Spirit who quickens the dead will do it. When God restores, it’s never the same like it was before - it will be even better. Your memory will be even better than before! There is a grace revolution happening all around the world. The revelations and word being taught from this church are being repeated in other ministries worldwide. When hearing it from other ministries, remember that you first heard it from the "authorized dealer" (Pastor Prince). The Bible says that we are transformed by beholding Jesus. We become like Him not by working or laboring, but by beholding Him. Teaching about Jesus is practical because the revelation of Him will overflow to other areas in your life. For example, the Bible says husbands love your wives like how Jesus loves the church. Having the revelation of the love of Christ in your heart will lead to you showing love to your spouse. The Bible says that we are risen with Christ, so we should act like the precious gold that we are. Not by acting 'high and mighty' or being arrogant, but by exuding the dignity of Christ - we are set apart from the world. Stones are common, but precious gems and metals like gold and diamonds are rare and valuable. 1 July 2018 - Speak to the Rock and Receive your Supply - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPraise and Worship songs performed: (Please let me know if I missed out any song titles before this)
Your need cannot be greater than God’s supply. Sometimes God allows us to come into a place of need so that we can see what is in our heart. He is not the Source of it and He does not cause the lack, but He allows it to happen. It’s times of testing that reveals what’s in our heart. Times of need also reveals what’s in His heart and we see all the supply that’s prepared for us. God never wanted the children of Israel to wander in the wilderness. God never brings you out to leave you hanging on your own. God brings you out to bring you into somewhere else. He brings you out to bring you in! The promised land “flows” with milk and honey - it is a picture of abundance. “Milk” reminds us of a mother, providing milk for her child. The milk comes from mother grace. God has moved mountains - He not at Mount Sinai anymore, but Mount Zion. Our mother is Sarah (Grace) not Hagar (the Law). “Honey” reminds us of cooperation - bees have work together to bring the pollen back to the hive to make honey. In the church, we are interdependent. The Christian life is not meant to be lived alone. If God has given you a revelation which others have not received yet, be kind to those who didn’t receive the revelation yet because God was kind to you. He could have given the revelation to that person instead of you. Sending the twelve spies was not Moses’ idea. It was the children of Israel’s own idea. God had already said that the land flows with milk and honey. Ten of the spies came back with a bad report, saying that there were giants and that they (Israel) were grasshoppers in their sight. Only Joshua and Caleb had a spirit of faith and encouraged the people to go up and take the land. In Hebrew, Joshua and Caleb said that the land is a “very very” good land. The Christian life is much better than the life in Egypt that we came out from. |
