How to Overcome Giants of Darkness and Stand Firm in True Teachings of Grace

This is an original devotional. Read more original works on my Patreon and join as a patron to receive valuable rewards to help you in your Christian walk with the Lord.

I wrote the post below  to help you be established in the Gospel of Grace and not to be turned aside to false doctrines of demons. Keep on feeding on the truth until you receive your breakthrough!

“You are of your father, the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and its father.” (John 8:44 WEB)

Do you think that the devil tells truths some of the time and lies at other times? No Jesus said that there is no truth in him. Everything the devil says is for deception and trickery.

The Bible doesn’t record many dialogues spoken by the devil, but in those few that exist, we can see that he always lies.

Firstly, the devil spoke through the serpent in the Garden of Eden.
He lied that Eve wouldn’t die from eating the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

“The serpent said to the woman, “You won’t surely die, for God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”” (Genesis 3:4-5 WEB)

His words directly contradicted God’s words.

“Yahweh God commanded the man, saying, “You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; but you shall not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; for in the day that you eat of it, you will surely die.”” (Genesis 2:16-17 WEB)

The devil just wanted to inject an unhealthy dose of unbelief into Eve’s heart.

The only recorded conversation between God and the devil is in the Book of Job. The devil lied that Job would renounce God if Job lost his material possessions.

“But stretch out your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will renounce you to your face.”” (Job 1:11 WEB)

It turns out that Job did not renounce God.

“In all this, Job did not sin, nor charge God with wrongdoing.” (Job 1:22 WEB)

Then the devil lied that Job would surely renounce God if Job lost his health.

“But stretch out your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will renounce you to your face.”” (Job 2:5 WEB)

Yet Job did not renounce God.

“But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. What? Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job didn’t sin with his lips.” (Job 2:10 WEB)

The devil just wanted to gain access to kill, steal and destroy in Job’s life.
He hates nothing more than seeing a blessed, righteous person who follows God’s ways.
If you seek to live a godly life, you will definitely be persecuted by the devil.

Why did God allow Satan to attack Job so terribly?
I believe it’s because He looked into the future and saw that Job had the strength of character to persist through the trials - a virtue that stems from having “the fear of the Lord”. Job saw God as awesome and to be praised.

God planned a great restoration for Job at the end of the trials, and Job will undoubtedly receive great eternal rewards before the Judgment Seat of Christ in the future.
What an honor he also received to have a book about his life written in God’s word! Job is a blessed man.

Finally, the last recorded time of the devil’s dialogue is when he tried to tempt Jesus in the wilderness.
For forty days and forty nights, the devil tried every trick up his sleeve and yet he failed every single time.

Jesus refuted every manipulation and lie of the devil with God’s word.
Whenever a thought arises in you and you’re unsure whether it’s God’s will or not, check with the Bible.
The Bible contains the revealed will of God.
If anything contradicts the Bible, then it’s definitely not God’s will.
This is why it’s important to know God’s word. You can’t apply truths that you don’t know about.

“The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.” Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’”...The devil said to him, “I will give you all this authority, and their glory, for it has been delivered to me; and I give it to whomever I want. If you therefore will worship before me, it will all be yours.” Jesus answered him, “Get behind me Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.’” He led him to Jerusalem, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down from here, for it is written, ‘He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you;’ and, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest perhaps you dash your foot against a stone.’” Jesus answering, said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’”” (Luke 4:3-4, 6-12 WEB)

The devil tried to taint the sinless Son of God - If Jesus did as the devil requested, Jesus would have become the devil’s slave.
Satan was so proud that he believed that he had the power to cause anyone to sin. He didn’t believe that Jesus was incorruptible.

Dear brother or sister in Christ, the devil is a master at the art of lying. Never believe in anything he says or anything that belongs to him.
He is so good at lying that everything he says seems to be true.
Whenever you cut a deal with him, you’re always on the losing end.
If he allows you to have something good (that comes from God anyway - every good and perfect gift descends from our Heavenly Father), he will definitely take away something more valuable from you.

Instead, trust in the Holy Spirit. God’s word calls Him the Spirit of Truth. He tells only the truth.
Whenever the devil comes with a lie wrapped in eloquence, listen out for the prompting of the Holy Spirit in your heart.
He will help you combat the lies by burying them with the truth.
When light shines into the darkness, darkness scatters.

This post will teach you how to overcome all the giants of darkness that march your way. Evict them from your land of inheritance. Say
This post will teach you how to overcome all the giants of darkness that march your way. Evict them from your land of inheritance. Say "No more, devil - you are cast out in Jesus' name!"

Don't Co-Habit with the Enemy

“Yahweh spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, “When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their stone idols, destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places. You shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for I have given the land to you to possess it. You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers. “But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be as pricks in your eyes and as thorns in your sides, and they will harass you in the land in which you dwell. It shall happen that as I thought to do to them, so will I do to you.”” (Numbers 33:50-56 WEB)

Would you allow someone who hates you and thinks murderous thoughts towards you, to stay with you in the same house? Personally, I would want him or her to be as far away from me as possible.

The inhabitants of the land of Canaan mentioned in the passage above are a picture of your spiritual enemies today.
When you compromise with the devil by keeping his objects in your house or his beliefs in your heart, then it’s as good as inviting demons to live with you.

For example, many Chinese in Singapore believe in pagan superstitions like Fengshui, Horoscopes, Astrology, Zodiacs, Crystals in order to increase their own ‘luck’.
There’s no such thing as luck because all good things come from God.
Luck rules out the existence of God and His hand in shaping the events of this world.

Sometimes when you allow pagan objects into your house, such as a statue of a ‘god of fortune’, the devil may trick you by letting you think it’s increase your ‘luck’.
He just calls off all spiritual attacks in your life and lets you experience a restful, blessed period of time, so that you think that you’re blessed because of the god of fortune.

Meanwhile, the devil has full access to your life because you have faith in his lies and by proxy, in him.
When you start trusting in the deceitful things of the devil, you begin losing faith in the true things of God.

As you relax and enjoy your sudden peace and quiet, demons are swarming in by the hordes into your house, while you’re distracted by all the good things happening to you.

The devil then plans a huge tragedy for you down the road and you end up losing much more than the blessings that you enjoyed.
The devil was not the source of any of those blessings in the first place.
He just didn’t do anything to block it from entering your life.
Im not declaring that all this will happen to you, but I’m painting an imaginary scenario, just to give an example.

If you celebrate Halloween, that’s another entry point for the devil.
Same goes for Christmas if you accept the pagan parts of it like Santa Claus.
There’s many spiritual traps in this world that the enemy of our soul has cleverly crafted to lure us to our demise.

“that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his schemes.” (2 Corinthians 2:11 WEB)

Knowing the truth, let us not compromise with the devil. By allowing him to co-habit with us, we will give him chances to murder us in our sleep.
We must give him no room or opportunity to be part of our lives.

“and don’t give place to the devil.” (Ephesians 4:27 WEB)

Don’t be content to tolerate all the evil things that come from the enemy: sickness, disease, evil thoughts, poverty, strife, etc.
God doesn’t want you to live with them. He wants you to prosper and be healthy, just as your soul prospers.
Evict these spiritual enemies from your house and say “Get out and stay out of my life devil, in Jesus’ name!”.

If God’s will is that none of these enemies should remain, then keep praying, declaring and believing until they are all driven out from your life.

“Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and inherit the land.” (Exodus 23:30 WEB)

It will happen progressively, but surely God will remove them all if you align yourself with His word.

“You shall make no covenant with them, nor with their gods. They shall not dwell in your land, lest they make you sin against me, for if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.”” (Exodus 23:32-33 WEB)

If you’ve been living with the enemy, I suggest you take a look at your life and home, and ask yourself: What have I allowed from the devil into my life?
When you’ve identified them, it’s time to do some spring cleaning. Toss them out of the door and be rid of them.

“But you shall deal with them like this. You shall break down their altars, dash their pillars in pieces, and cut down their Asherah poles, and burn their engraved images with fire. For you are a holy people to Yahweh your God. Yahweh your God has chosen you to be a people for his own possession, above all peoples who are on the face of the earth.” (Deuteronomy 7:5-6 WEB)

What if there is a pagan altar in your home because of a family member who still worships idols?
Just keep praying for that loved one to be saved, to experience the grace and love of Jesus.
Declare the blood of Jesus on the pagan altar daily, and for it to be plucked up and cast into the sea in Jesus’ name. It is an enemy.
You’ll be waging spiritual war against the forces of darkness that are fighting to cement its position there in the house.

Dear brother or sister in Christ, don’t think for one moment that these things are unimportant or harmless. There is more going on in the spiritual realm than we know.

Watch as God’s blessings pour unrestricted into your life once your beliefs and home are clean and in sync with the Lord!

Feed by Faith, not by your Feelings

“The mixed multitude that was among them lusted exceedingly: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, “Who will give us meat to eat? We remember the fish, which we ate in Egypt for nothing; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic; but now we have lost our appetite. There is nothing at all except this manna to look at.” The manna was like coriander seed, and its appearance like the appearance of bdellium. The people went around, gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in mortars, and boiled it in pots, and made cakes of it. Its taste was like the taste of fresh oil. When the dew fell on the camp in the night, the manna fell on it. Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, every man at the door of his tent; and Yahweh’s anger burned greatly; and Moses was displeased... “Say to the people, ‘Sanctify yourselves in preparation for tomorrow, and you will eat meat; for you have wept in the ears of Yahweh, saying, “Who will give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt.” Therefore Yahweh will give you meat, and you will eat. You will not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days, but a whole month, until it comes out at your nostrils, and it is loathsome to you; because you have rejected Yahweh who is among you, and have wept before him, saying, “Why did we come out of Egypt?” (Numbers 11:4-10, 18-20 WEB)

Lust is a manifestation of the sinful flesh. The children of Israel lusted after the food of Egypt when they were being blessed daily with the best food which came down from heaven.

The manna which they ate in the wilderness represents Jesus, Who is the true Bread of Life that came down from heaven.
Jesus is the embodiment of the New Covenant of Grace.
It is easy to take things for granted when we have an abundance of a good thing. This is our tendency as humans.

You may hear it as “Huh... Grace again? God’s love again? Why is the pastor just repeatedly teaching the same thing? We need more advanced teachings.”
That is the flesh lusting for something it can glorify itself by.

You see, the flesh doesn’t like Grace because it doesn’t need to do anything to deserve it, and cannot take any credit for it, since Grace only exalts the finished work of Jesus at the cross.
The flesh loves it when you give it something difficult that it needs to do to earn something. It wants to justify itself by self-efforts.

The children of Israel had been eating heavenly food daily until they were bored and even complained about it.
I believe that the meat and the food of Egypt that they requested for, in today’s context, can represent either the Law, or pagan beliefs.

Even when we’re repeatedly hearing about Jesus and God’s Grace until our flesh feels bored of it, we must continue to feed on it by faith because that’s the highest truth. We must never compromise on the truth just because of our feelings.

The devil will try to lead you astray, saying that Grace is basic and the Law is advanced, but in reality, Grace is the only way for us as believers under the New Covenant today and whoever tries to be justified by the Law is immediately brought under its curse.

“While the meat was still between their teeth, before it was chewed, Yahweh’s anger burned against the people, and Yahweh struck the people with a very great plague. The name of that place was called Kibroth Hattaavah, because there they buried the people who lusted.” (Numbers 11:33-34 WEB)

Notice what happened to the children of Israel: the moment they put the meat in their mouth, a plague came upon them, resulting in death.
Similarly today, any believer who puts himself under the Law by trying to be justified through it, immediately brings the curse upon himself.

“But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons,” (1 Timothy 4:1 WEB)

Some believers today even depart from Grace to seek blessings through pagan beliefs like numerology, palm reading, horoscopes, etc. which are all lies from the devil - false doctrines of demons.
I have a friend whose father is a Christian but also practices the pagan beliefs that I mentioned above.
Doing this also opens believers up for spiritual attacks from the devil, another form of being plagued.
Don’t be deceived, if practicing such evil things leads to good things happening, it’s because the devil wants to take something much more important from the practitioner.
He would gladly give you money if it means you corrupting your soul. He looks forward to believers becoming muddied springs, dimmed lights of the world, and un-salty salt of the earth.

Another example of pagan beliefs is a believer who tries to learn worldly wisdom from what the world calls “personal development” taught by motivational speakers.
Such teachings inspire you that you are the one who is responsible for your success, and that you have it inside you to succeed in life.
It totally cuts God out of the picture and glorifies the flesh.
There’s no such things as a ‘self-made millionaire’ because every good and perfect gift is from God.
There’s no such thing as the ‘Law of Attraction’ either because it’s not the universe that’s sending you blessings, but God is.
He makes the rain fall on both the righteous and the ungodly: both enjoy good things by His Grace.
Yes there is the power to produce life or death in our spoken words, but even that principle is created by God.

When believers go from Grace to the Law or pagan beliefs, it’s like the children of Israel lusting for meat when they already had manna which is something better. Trust God when He says that meat compared to manna is loathsome.
Even when being tempted, choose to keep standing firm in God’s Grace. Don’t live by your feelings which is part of your flesh: the soul which is still being progressively renewed.
When you appreciate God’s provision of manna and disdain the inferior food of Egypt, instead of being cursed, you will experience blessings upon blessings!

Pray with me before we continue: Dear Abba Father, help us to always treasure and appreciate Jesus and Your Grace, and to never succumb to the temptation to follow the Law or doctrines of demons. We choose to live by faith and not by our feelings. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!

Devil, You Can’t Fool Me!

“and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages. But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.” (1 Corinthians 12:10-11 WEB)

One of the nine spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit is the “discerning of spirits”. The word discerning in Greek is “diakrisis” which means to distinguish between lookalikes.

This gift allows a believer to know through the Holy Spirit whether an action, utterance, teaching, message, or writing is truly of God, or it’s from men who are motivated by demons.
It’s like your own portable lie detector from God!

“Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit who doesn’t confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God, and this is the spirit of the Antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn’t listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.” (1 John 4:1-6 WEB)

The fact that the apostle John warns believers to test the spirits is because the counterfeit spirits are very convincing - they sound or look like they are from God.
John gives us some principles to test the spirits by: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus did not come in the flesh is an Antichrist spirit - a demon.

Secondly, an Antichrist spirit who works through a false prophet teaches people to be worldly - messages that cater to the flesh, that are self-exalting instead of Christ-exalting.
You’ll never hear the name Jesus being mentioned. Instead, such a false prophet will make it all about you: you are the master of your destiny, you have what it takes inside to succeed on your own, no one can take care of you except you, etc.

Lastly, an Antichrist spirit teaches error, whereas the Holy Spirit teaches truth.
The Holy Spirit will never lie, and will never tell you that it’s okay to tell a lie.
If a so-called preacher or prophet says that it’s okay to lie under a certain circumstance, then you know for sure that he’s motivated by an Antichrist spirit.

Many times, an intelligent wicked person will know how to disguise their evil intentions with eloquence and honeyed words.
A person without the gift of discerning of spirits may be fooled by the charm.

“Like silver dross on an earthen vessel are the lips of a fervent one with an evil heart. A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but he harbors evil in his heart. When his speech is charming, don’t believe him; for there are seven abominations in his heart. His malice may be concealed by deception, but his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly.” (Proverbs 26:23-26 WEB)

It’s like what happened to Jesus while He walked on earth. Jesus was given supernatural discernment to see that the Pharisees and Herodians were trying to trap him with pretentious praise followed by asking a well-disguised ‘innocent’ question.
Through the gift of discerning of spirits, He was able to see through their hypocrisy, that their intentions were not of God.

“They sent some of the Pharisees and of the Herodians to him, that they might trap him with words. When they had come, they asked him, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and don’t defer to anyone; for you aren’t partial to anyone, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? Shall we give, or shall we not give?” But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, “Why do you test me? Bring me a denarius, that I may see it.”” (Mark 12:13-15 WEB)

Jesus said that His sheep hear His voice and will by no means listen to or follow the voice of a stranger.
Through the gift of discerning of spirits, it’s even easier to distinguish between true teachings from Jesus and false doctrines from demons.

“Whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him; for they don’t know the voice of strangers.”” (John 10:4-5 WEB)

Dear brother or sister in Christ, you can ask God for this useful gift - if the Holy Spirit wants to, He will dispense it to you!
If you’re blessed with this gift, use it to protect yourself as well as the body of Christ from wrong believing. With God on your side, the devil can’t fool you!

Let's pray before we move on: Dear Abba Father, through Your Holy Spirit, give me the gift of discerning of spirits so that I can distinguish between what is from You and what is from the devil. Help me to always hear Your voice only, and not the voice of a stranger. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

About the Book:

It is my prayer that the revelations in this book will help you to live with a focus on the things above where God is, fulfill your God-given calling in life, be happier and to accumulate more eternal rewards to your account.

"Dear Milton Goh, I truly thank our Abba, Father for the revelations in this book. It is so amazing how I begin to discover important verses in the Bible that I have never read. That instead of following riches, with sleepless nights, and actually shortening our lives, we are just to 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ', and 'Love one another'. How beautiful to find out that actually in the Bible there is both 'Earthly or Worldly Investment Wisdom' and 'Eternal Investment Wisdom' according to the revelations here from Ecclesiastes 5:14-17 WEB)!; “It seems like Solomon was not only wise at earning material riches but also at earning eternal riches.” All the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ! God bless you Milton Goh for such a wonderful book!" - Nitta Nierra from Belgium

Greater Enemies Guard Greater Blessings

“They came to the valley of Eshcol, and cut down from there a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bore it on a staff between two. They also brought some of the pomegranates and figs. That place was called the valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the children of Israel cut down from there. They returned from spying out the land at the end of forty days. They went and came to Moses, to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, to the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word to them and to all the congregation. They showed them the fruit of the land. They told him, and said, “We came to the land where you sent us. Surely it flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. However the people who dwell in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large. Moreover, we saw the children of Anak there. Amalek dwells in the land of the South. The Hittite, the Jebusite, and the Amorite dwell in the hill country. The Canaanite dwells by the sea, and along the side of the Jordan.” Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it!” But the men who went up with him said, “We aren’t able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.” They brought up an evil report of the land which they had spied out to the children of Israel, saying, “The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that eats up its inhabitants; and all the people who we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim. We were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.”” (Numbers 13:23-33 WEB)

There are some blessings you won’t find in the wilderness. Those big grapes only grow in the Promised Land.

The children of Israel who believed the bad report of the spies did not enter the land but died in the wilderness.
Out of the generation that came out of slavery in Egypt, only Joshua and Caleb went into the land.
The two of them, together with the new generation of the children of Israel, entered the land.

Sometimes God leads us into wilderness seasons to allow the unbelieving parts of our heart to die off completely before taking us into the Promised Land of blessings with our new, regenerated level of faith.

If we go in as we are, with all our unbelief and fears, we won’t survive against the enemies in the land.
They will destroy us because we won’t know how to lean on God to defeat them.

You may be feeling comfortable at the level where you are now, but God intends to take you to a whole new level of His manifested blessings and a greater measure of the abundant life that Jesus died to give you.

It’s going to be a land of big grapes - greater provision and blessings than you currently enjoy.
Sometimes God will drop an idea into your heart, for example: Start a company, open a television ministry, or submit a job application for a position that’s totally out of your comfort zone and area of expertise.

It’s a moment like this when you have to choose between the report of the spies - whether to believe that God is going to help you overcome the obstacles and give you the victory, or whether the enemies are too strong for it to be possible.

When a faith decision shows up like this and you make the wrong choice of believing the bad report of the spies, you could be headed for a wilderness season, before you’re ready to step into the next level of blessings.

For how long? Will it be 40 years like the children of Israel? No, it will take as long as it is needed, until you learn to trust God and rely on His grace.
That means, you will stop worrying and be filled with faith that He fights your battles and is able to give you the victory while you rest in His goodness.
It is all paid for by the finished work of Jesus at the cross.

The Hebrew letters are pictograms - each letter represents a corresponding picture. The Hebrew word for spy is “tur” made up of Hebrew letters Tav (cross), Vav (tent pegs/secures), and Resh (man): the cross secures man.
Do you want to know what your blessings are in the Promised Land? Study what Jesus did at the cross and you will find your inheritance.

For example, Jesus was stripped of all His earthly possessions at the cross, made naked and poor, so that we would be clothed with the robes righteousness and made rich in Him.
Another one: Jesus bore our sicknesses at the cross so that today we can receive healing for all conditions and be in good health.
Last example: Jesus hung on a tree (the cross made of wood) and became a curse, so that we would be delivered from the curse of the Law and all curses today.

Your inheritance is guarded by enemies. The devil looks out for what God is doing in your life, and when he sees God preparing a blessing for you, he tries to sabotage it and scare you from stepping into the blessing.

The enemies may be giants that spiritually are stronger than you, like the devil who is so powerful that Michael the archangel avoids contending with him, but you have to make a choice: are you going to focus on how big your enemy is, or how much bigger your God is?

That is the key difference between the beliefs of the faithful Joshua and Caleb, and the other spies who gave a bad report.
Joshua and Caleb trusted in God’s promises to give them the land and were ready to act on His promises. They knew that the God Who delivered them out of Egypt with mighty signs and wonders, led them in a pillar of cloud and pillar of fire, parted the Red Sea, and sustained them daily with manna from heaven, was well able to give them the land too.

On the other hand, the other spies became afraid when they saw how big their enemies were. Instead of living by faith, they were living by sight.
Instead of focusing on God’s greatness, they had more faith in the enemy’s ability to defeat them. They forgot all the miraculous ways in which God delivered them from impossible situations.

Learn from Joshua and Caleb: remember all the victories that God has given you so far in life, and trust that He will continue to add victory upon victory to that list.
If He has been faithful before, why will that ever change? He is the great “I AM” who is the same back then, now, and in the future to come.

David wrote in a psalm, “forget not all His benefits”. When you meditate on how God has blessed you and delivered you from every enemy thus far, faith will rise up to enable you to step into the Promised Land of your blessings.

Remember, at every level, you are always being sustained by His Grace.
It was never you doing it yourself - it has always been Him supporting you by keeping you alive through every trial, and orchestrating events to give you every victory.

Jesus said that without Him we can do nothing. He is the Vine and we are the branches that receive life from Him in order to bear fruits to God.
This time, as you look into the Promised Land from the wilderness, and see the giants towering over the land from afar, remember that the strategy is the same: trust that God will give you the victory. Not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit.

What is impossible for man, is possible for God, and all things are possible for him who believes.
Take a step of faith and enter the land. Those huge grapes are waiting for you. God is already there, armed and ready to fight your enemies!
