Leading Cast of Maze Runner: The Death Cure Movie 2018

Dylan O'Brien as Thomas
Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Newt
Kaya Scodelario as Teresa
Ki Hong Lee as Minho
Will Poulter as Gally
Giancarlo Esposito as Jorge
Rosa Salazar as Brenda
Patricia Clarkson as Chancellor Ava Paige
Aidan Gillen as Director Janson (Rat Man)
Barry Pepper as Vince

1) We don’t get to play God by deciding who deserves to live or die. Live with integrity and a clear conscience and you will... live long.

I love that in this movie all the self-righteous characters like Teresa, Chancellor Paige, Director Janson and Lawrence who do wicked deeds suffer terrible deaths, whereas the innocent ones who don’t get involved in the violence and manipulation are the ones who survive and live in the safe haven in the end.

A beautiful story of how good always triumphs over evil and that it’s better to do things the right way than to try and achieve a goal through underhand methods.

2) It’s also not just about how long you live. It’s about the impact you make while you are alive.

It’s really sad that Newt eventually succumbed to the Flare virus and was mercy-killed by Thomas.

Despite his tragic death at a young age, his heroic deeds of fighting alongside Thomas will never be forgotten.

The good deeds and his reputation will outlast him on the earth.

What’s the point of living a super long life and yet realizing that your life had no meaning and didn’t help anyone else?

3) There is no length too great to go for a true friend in need.

It may seem quite naive for Thomas and friends to keep trying to save Minho when the odds are so stacked against them and they have the hundreds of kids to lead and help under Vince’s care.

However that’s the extent of their loyalty and devotion as friends and sworn brothers.

They have been through so much together, overcome so many trials in The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials, that they can’t possibly leave Minho to suffer the cruel torture by WCKD.

Do you have a friend that would do anything for you if you were in trouble? Then you’re very blessed - treasure that friendship.
Conversely, are you as loyal and devoted to your true friends as Thomas is?

4) Mankind can be so selfish and arrogant.

Director Janson was so selfish that when discovered that Thomas’ blood was the cure for the Flare virus, he didn’t think about how to make it available to everyone who needed it.

Instead, he decided to profit from it and to be selective about who gets access to it.
He was essentially saying that he gets to choose who lives and who dies - how arrogant.

Then there are also the people living comfortably and dressing fancily in the "Last City" that's equipped with modern amenities, while just outside the city walls are the "Cranks" living in derelict conditions.
Instead of sharing the provisions and comforts, the people living in the city just choose to pretend like the Cranks don't exist.
Director Janson even opened fire on them and killed so many when they approached the city gate.

Is this a microcosm of how the world is like today, where people living in the First-World Countries take their comforts and luxuries for granted while people are forgotten, starving and dying in Third-World Countries?

There are people in this world who try to unethically enrich themselves at the expense of others’ wellbeing.
Their wealth and success will never last. There will always be potentially-fatal consequences for their evil acts.

Moral Lesson 4 in Maze Runner: The Death Cure - Mankind can be selfish and arrogant.

5) To accomplish significant feats in life, you will need connections.

If Thomas didn’t know Brenda and Jorge, he wouldn’t have been able to save the hundred kids on the train.

If he didn’t know Gally, he wouldn’t have gotten access into the city.

If Thomas didn’t know Teresa, he wouldn’t have been able to rescue the 28 immunes from the holding cell block.

If Thomas didn’t know Brenda and Jorge, he would have died in the fiery inferno when the explosive projectiles were fired into the building, instead of being rescued.

If he didn’t know Vince, he wouldn’t be able to live safely in the Safe Haven.

Life is all about connections. Today's currency is your network - who do you know and who knows you.

Truly in life we can’t accomplish great things alone - look at all the amazing feats done throughout history: They all involved many people working together to achieve it.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure was a satisfying conclusion to a captivating series. I started watching the movies before I read the books and, surprisingly, I enjoyed the films better. As an author and an avid reader I've very rarely enjoyed a movie adaptation over the original novel. However the Maze Runner trilogy made all the right choices when it came to changes from the books

Hi! I didn’t read the books but I thoroughly enjoyed the story in the movies! I know they made many changes but yet it still all makes sense. Kudos to the scriptwriter!

This beloved franchise has captured the hearts of generations with its endearing characters, exciting adventures, and timeless life lessons. Join us on a journey as we delve into the enchanting world of Thomas and Friends, exploring its history, characters, and enduring popularity.

The Birth of Thomas
The origins of Thomas and Friends can be traced back to the creative genius of Reverend Wilbert Awdry. In the early 1940s, Awdry began crafting stories about anthropomorphic trains to entertain his young son during a bout of illness. These stories laid the foundation for what would become a global phenomenon.

All Aboard the Island of Sodor
One of the defining elements of Thomas and Friends is its richly detailed world, the Island of Sodor. This fictional island serves as the backdrop for the adventures of Thomas and his locomotive companions. From bustling train stations to picturesque landscapes, the Island of Sodor has become a place of wonder for young viewers.

Meet the Locomotives
Thomas and Friends boasts a diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique personalities and quirks. From the cheeky Thomas to the wise and kind Sir Topham Hatt, these locomotives teach valuable life lessons about friendship, responsibility, and teamwork.

The Evolution of Animation
Over the decades, Thomas and Friends has evolved in terms of animation, bringing these beloved characters to life in new and exciting ways. From traditional hand-drawn animation to cutting-edge CGI, the series has adapted to keep up with the times while preserving its timeless charm.
