NASA Admits to the Biblical Flat and Non-Rotating Earth?

When I first read about believers talking about a flat earth, I laughed to myself and thought how ridiculous it was. I started off as a skeptic.

All my life I watched shows about outer space, aliens, seeing zoom-out footage of the earth as a globe spinning in space, and never questioned it.
The earth as a globe (ball) was taught to me in science class, reinforced in Hollywood movies, and by NASA.

Notice that all of the above are secular sources?
I haven’t been to outer space, neither have most of us, and yet we simply take what they say as truth.

It wasn’t until I delved deep into the Bible to see for myself what God says about the structure of the heavens (the sky) and the earth that I realized there were some differences between what NASA says and what the Bible says.

A circle and a ball/globe are not the same thing. A circle is flat, whereas a globe is three-dimensional.

“When he established the heavens, I was there; when he set a circle on the surface of the deep,” ‭‭(Proverbs‬ ‭8:27‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The verse above is talking about how Jesus was there with God the Father when He made the sky and was forming the foundation of the earth.

The Father drew a circle on the face of the deep. A circle is not a ball/globe.

In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, He made the expanse which He called “sky”.

“God said, “Let there be an expanse in the middle of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” God made the expanse, and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so. God called the expanse “sky”. There was evening and there was morning, a second day.” ‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭1:6-8‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The word expanse in Hebrew is “rakia” which conveys a sense of stretching out, like a dome.

Ever wondered why the sky looks blue? It’s because beyond the sky is “the waters above the expanse” like the passage above says.

“Can you, with him, spread out the sky, which is strong as a cast metal mirror?” ‭‭(Job‬ ‭37:18‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The Bible teaches that the sky is a solid structure, like a cast metal mirror. The sky is impenetrable. No weapon fired against it can destroy it or even make a scratch.

“Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭150:1‬ ‭KJV‬)

The word firmament is also “rakia” in Hebrew and is also referring to the sky. The sky is a demonstration of God’s power. No rocket or missile fired against it can ever make a dent.

Satan was cast out of heaven and is trying to find a way back up there.

In order to get back above, he has to destroy the sky. Could it be that the missile tests in experiments such as Operation Fishbowl are about testing weapons to see if they are strong enough to penetrate the sky?

Okay we’ve seen what the Bible says about the sky. Now what about the earth?

The Prophet Isaiah wrote the following:

“It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in;” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭40:22‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The verse above itself proves that the earth is not a globe. The earth is a flat circle.
The word circle in the verse in the original Hebrew is “chug” which means a flat circle like a coin, or a compass.

A compass cannot ever draw a globe, but it can draw a circle.

The verse goes on to say that the heavens (the sky) is spread out like a tent.
Think about a tent: the only curved part is the roof of it, and the base of the tent is flat right?
The roof is the dome of the sky, and the base is the flat circle of the earth.

The photo above shows the type of tents made out of animal skins that the children of Israel lived in during Biblical times.

If outer Space doesn't exist, then NASA has deceived the world

There is no error in translation here. Isaiah knew the difference between a circle and a ball. Isaiah wrote in another verse:

“He will surely wind you around and around, and throw you like a ball into a large country. There you will die, and there the chariots of your glory will be, you shame of your lord’s house.” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭22:18‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The word ball in the verse above in Hebrew is “dur”, which refers to either a ball or a pile—basically not flat.
Circle and ball are different words in the original Hebrew.
So Isaiah really meant that the earth is a circle.

You might wonder: why would NASA lie to us?
There are strong possible reasons: in order to perpetuate beliefs about outer space, alien life, Big Bang Theory and Evolution, they have to find a way for God not to exist.

The theories above will make it easy for them in the future to explain why the Rapture happened: because aliens invaded earth and abducted us.
Yes aliens are real, but they are not what movies make them seem to be — they are the demons that roam both the sky and the earth.

The Marvel blockbuster hit, “Avengers: Endgame”, is all about reinforcing all these scientific theories as well — outer space, aliens, vanishing of people, etc.

In that movie, the main villain from another planet, Thanos, snapped his fingers and caused half of all living things in the universe to cease to exist.

If the earth is indeed a flat circle encased by a solid dome, there will be no ruling out that everything in existence is from intelligent design by a Creator.

The name NASA sounds awfully close to the Hebrew word nasha which means “to deceive”.
It is also similar to the word for serpent in Hebrew which is “nachash”.

If outer space doesn’t exist, then we are not an insignificant speck in the infinite universes.

The Bible says that the earth is at the center of all of God’s creation, and man who was created on the sixth day is intended to rule over the earth.

We are not an accident that happened. We were meticulously designed and made by a loving and benevolent God.

The devil wants us to feel worthless, unimportant, unloved, and that nothing else exists after this lifetime.

“If I fought with animals at Ephesus for human purposes, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then “let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.” Don’t be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.” Wake up righteously, and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.” ‭‭(1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:32-34‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Satan wants us to spend this lifetime drinking and partying without ever caring about God, and go to Hell because of our sins after we die.

Indeed, without the knowledge of God, we will be living a life of debauchery.

Science tells us that the earth rotates at a speed of 1600 km/hr on its axis and revolves around the sun at a speed of 107,000 km/hr.

Do this simple experiment: When you spin a wet tennis ball, the water will splash outwards. You’re telling me that the earth is moving at such insanely high speeds and yet we can see seas and oceans being perfectly calm and at rest?

To explain why we won't fall off the earth when it's rotating and revolving at such high speeds, they came up with the theory of Gravity.

Here’s what the Bible says about the earth’s movement:

“Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established that it can’t be moved.” ‭‭(1 Chronicles‬ ‭16:30‬ ‭WEB)

The answer is that the earth doesn’t move. It doesn’t revolve, neither does it rotate. It is perfectly still.
We are living on a stable foundation, not on a planet hurtling chaotically through outer space.

“Yahweh reigns! He is clothed with majesty! Yahweh is armed with strength. The world also is established. It can’t be moved.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭93:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The Bible is clear in that the earth doesn’t move.
Remember I wrote that the earth is the center of all creation?
The earth is also the final dwelling place of both God and redeemed man.

“I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more. I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.” ‭‭(Revelation‬ ‭21:1-2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

After this current earth is burnt up at the end of time, God will create a new earth and new heavens in its place.
This location is the center of all creation because it is the final dwelling designed by God.

“After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.” ‭‭(Revelation‬ ‭7:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

On a globe, there are no four corners — it’s not possible. A globe has no end.

The Book of Job reveals that the earth looks like clay under a seal.

"that it might take hold of the ends of the earth, and shake the wicked out of it? It is changed as clay under the seal, and presented as a garment." (Job 38:13-14 WEB)

The image above shows how the "four corners of the earth" could look like. It does look like how clay pressed by a seal would look like.

The sun and moon circle over the earth

““God understands its way, and he knows its place. For he looks to the ends of the earth, and sees under the whole sky.” ‭‭(Job‬ ‭28:23-24‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The Bible speaks of “ends of the earth” and “four corners of the earth” — speaking of geographical boundaries.

Science teaches that the earth revolves around the sun, and that there are other planets that may have alien life, and that they all revolve around the sun in the center.

However, God's word says that the sun and moon were created for the earth, so that they would serve as lights and signs to mark seasons, days and years.

“God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs to mark seasons, days, and years; and let them be for lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth”; and it was so. God made the two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He also made the stars.” ‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭1:14-16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Throughout Bible History, people used the Hebrew calendar which utilized the natural movements of the heavens to tell time—a day was from sunset to sunset, a month was from new moon to new moon (the word month means moon), and a year was from spring to spring.

The sun and moon are like a God-made clock for the earth!
The earth is the center of creation, not the sun.

Notice where the Bible says the sun, moon and stars are located.
They are in the expanse of the sky, meaning under the dome.

If so, then the sun is not 149.6 million km away from the earth in ‘outer space’ as science says.

The above is a Biblical model of the heavens and the earth. Heaven is above the earth and Hell (Sheol) is below the earth. The earth is the center of all creation.

In the Bible, you’ll never find any verse that says that the earth moves.
But it has many (apparently 67) verses that show the sun moving. For example:

“The sun also rises, and the sun goes down, and hurries to its place where it rises.” ‭‭(Ecclesiastes‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The wisest man (second to Jesus) that ever lived, king Solomon, wrote the above. He clearly wrote that the sun is the one moving and not the earth.

“Then Joshua spoke to Yahweh in the day when Yahweh delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel. He said in the sight of Israel, “Sun, stand still on Gibeon! You, moon, stop in the valley of Aijalon!” The sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the nation had avenged themselves of their enemies. Isn’t this written in the book of Jashar? The sun stayed in the middle of the sky, and didn’t hurry to go down about a whole day.” ‭‭(Joshua‬ ‭10:12-13‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Joshua wouldn’t have asked the sun to stand still if it was the earth that was moving.
He would have asked the earth to stand still instead.
The passage also says that the sun stood still.

Why do we experience day and night on earth?
It’s because of the revolution of the sun and the moon above the earth.

The sun and moon are much smaller than the earth. As the sun moves to another part under the sky, our region is darkened, but when it comes back over us, it becomes bright again.

The sun and moon revolve within the sky, and are much closer to us than science tells us.
People on planes have taken photos showing clouds behind the sun. Here is one of them:

This tells us that the sun is much nearer to us than we were told.

This phenomenon suggests that the sun is much nearer to us than we were told.

To end this article, I just want to share with you a screenshot that I captured from a document published by NASA that is available to the public on the NASA website.

Read the highlighted portions in this NASA research doucment.

On page 7 of 108 in the updated document, twice it writes “a flat, nonrotating earth”. Why are they basing their linear aircraft model on a flat, non-rotating earth, unless that's the truth?
You can access the document here on NASA's website and confirm it for yourself.

Why is NASA contradicting what they are marketing to the public?
On one hand they say that the earth is a globe and that it rotates on its axis.
On the other hand, they write in research papers stating clearly that the earth is flat and non-rotating.

The enemy hides truths in plain sight. Most of the public won’t read this document.
Satan is mocking us, laughing that mankind is so easy to deceive—the world is under the devil’s sway and illusion.

The United Nations logo (above right) features the map of the flat earth (above left). If flat earth wasn't true, then why didn't they design their logo based on a globular earth?

Same thing goes for the World Health Organisation. They have the map of the flat earth on their logo as well as a serpent watching over the entire flat earth. The world is deceived by the devil which the Bible calls "the ruler of this world".

The Freemasons know the truth about the flat earth as well and are committed to hiding the truth. They hide it in plain sight to mock the public.

This article is by no means covering everything the Bible says about the flat, non-rotating earth (in NASA's language), but it gives you a good head-start for your own research.

I feel that it's a very personal journey to discover the truth about the heavens and the earth which are written in God’s word.

It may be difficult to absorb and believe right now, but feel free to meditate on it and take your time.
Pray about this and let the Holy Spirit confirm the word and give you peace about it.

Hopefully these Scriptures and information shared can lead you closer to discovering the truth for yourself.

As believers we should desire to grow in the knowledge of God’s truth in every possible way.

Anyone can read your comment and see you seem to be an arrogant and rude person, who is clearly in the brainwashed group. Hopefully you aren’t those things I mentioned above and you are just misled, but Milton is correct and that is that. I used to be a globe believer too because obviously that is what I was taught, but I am realizing we have been lied to about MANY things in our life. Haven’t you realized that at least? And of course the entire world is in on it, not just our country.

true I used to believe the heliocentric model but the holy ghost woke me up and changed me life is so much more God made the earth I never believed evolution personally I only sat with that lie for a little while it its real dumb

We can see venus at night, sometimes it's visible all night long, which is impossible on a globe. Also how does the atmosphere stay pressurized against an infinite vacuum, and how do trillions of gallons of water stay flat and calm, how do rivers flow up the side of a ball?

Unfortunately, the literal interpretation of the Bible you are using is just flat out wrong.

The earth is a globe. Its why ships go over the horizon (and no, when its over the horizon you don't bring them back with zoom). Its why the southern pole star (its not exactly on the pole) rotates around the South pole. Its why the stars are different in the northern and southern hemisphere. Its why GPS works.

Legitimate idiot... aliens are demons etc.. where is your evidence for all these frivolous outlandish claims. In fact forget evidence, where did you even get the ideas? If we are not on a globe then how come ALL international navigation requires adjustment for curvature. The flat earth model is useless for direction and accurately determining accurate size and shape of any part of earth. Don't you think this is just a little bit of a problem for your hypothesis?

I'm not going to through insults or anything of that matter towards you. But I do oppose the outlook that you have on the way the earth works. The fact that you only talk about NASA leads me to believe that you do not know of the existence of the other 60 or so space agencies across the GLOBE. 38 different countries have been into space. Over 500 people have seen outer space with their own eyes. Yet you're trying to tell me that the hundreds of thousands of people that work for these agencies are all a part of some global conspiracy. That they all somehow have proof that God exists and that the earth is flat and that they are all just lying. That's preposterous. Furthermore you seem to take the bible rather literally. The thing is the bible is not literal at all. It is figurative its philosophical. When it said the earth couldn't move, that was just a figure of speech meant to convey the absolute power of God. My father is a devout Christian and he laughed in the face of your claims. Stating that you have obviously never read the scripture. Which I am inclined to believe. Jesus and God speak in parables all the time. Yet you take what they say so seriously and literally. When Jesus said he was the fisher of men, I'm pretty sure he didn't mean he literally fishes for men. Yet you pick and pull these texts and interpret them how you please. Furthermore if gravity doesn't exist then how am can we stand on the surface of earth. Gravity would still have to exist in some sense for even your flat earth to work. If the earth was flat then I would be able to see Moscow from my home in New York, because there would be no horizon. Guess what I just looked out my window and I didn't see any Russians. Your theory of the earth being flat and that all these governments and space agencies are hiding the truth from us is insanely preposterous. I find it hilarious that you had to disassociate yourself with your church, probably because even they think your crazy. I guarantee my pastor would laugh at this article. Oh, I almost forgot. Check out your local visibility on your weather source. It’s prolly around the 10 mile range. This visibility is due to the limit of view from conditions in the atmosphere. Sometimes i can see mountains 40 miles away from my house sometimes i cannot.

I don't enjoy seeing someone insulting the intelligence of another just because they hold a different view. I once thought flat Earth to be preposterous as well, but then I started looking into the evidence. There is significant proof that cannot be ignored. Looking into it for yourself would only either bolster your current stances, or it would allow you to broaden your horizons. There is no downside to exploring in this world. It would be nice if you treated people with a bit more grace.

It explains how the globe model came to be and how the flat earth "operates". 1hr. 36m long and excellent. It isn't basically presented in a biblical context. It covers all of the aspects of the the impossibility of a globe earth and the lies and deceptions of people and organizations and some diabolical things that they did to try to stop the flat earth movement. By the way, Sir Isaac Newton is declared to be a Christian. Was he, really? Is there any real proof, other than statements made in reference to God? The video tells what he and Copernicus and Pythagoras and others were!

Thanks so much for the article on flat earth. My eyes were opened in sept 2017. In reading all the comments it’s so easy to see how it is a spiritual deception. Why else would it make someone get so mad, defensive, and mean. When people have been indoctrinated (brainwashed) from childhood throughout their life its hard for them to accept anything but what they’ve been told. Those who have opened their eyes to the deception can see through the lies. I think the ones still in darkness are afraid it will make them look unintelligent to research anything considered to be foolish by mainstream. I think you have misunderstood the NASA paper.

A mathematical model is an equation or a set of equations that describe the behavior of some real world process. This paper is describing how mathematical models regarding aircraft flight behavior are created.

All they are saying is that for the purposes of the model the effects of the curvature and rotation of the earth are not included. This is a common occurrence in mathematical models usually because the effects of the excluded items are too small to be relevant to the purpose of the model. Often their exclusion makes the model much easier to calculate.

An example is the model which describes how fast an object will be going if it falls for some period of time.

The usual formula is velocity = gravitational constant * time (v=gt) -- a very simple model.

However this model only works for dense objects near the surface of the earth over short distances. This is because it neglects the effect of friction from the air (this is why parachutists only accelerate to a particular speed. about 58 m/sec and no faster. (The friction from the air is the reason a feather falls more slowly than a steel marble -- in a vacuum they fall at the same rate.)

It also neglects the fact that g, the gravitational constant, gets smaller as you get higher above the earth.

This is an example of how a formula might be simplified for particular uses.

The NASA article says nothing about the shape or rotation of the earth -- only that those factors were not included in their calculations.

Two points invalidate the premise of the title of this article.

1) Allen is right. A mathematical model is not intended to represent reality any more than a map is meant to represent everything about a territory.

NASA's model represents a design, a mental model that people have. I am currently working on a mathematical model as part of my scientific research. I have to hold many realistic things constant to get to the crux of the issue of my research. It would be literally impossible to do otherwise.

It is literally impossible to build a mathematical model which takes into account all of reality. It would be as complex as reality and would not be useful.

2) You are confusing NASA's role. It is not a purely scientific entity. NASA manages aeronautics and space work. Aeronautics is engineering. NASA is just as much an engineering agency as it is a science agency. And engineering is the application of scientific principles. In other words, thinking and gaining knowledge (science) before you make or do something (engineering).

If a flat earth model can get people to Mars, then NASA would use it. NASA does not need to take sides on astronomy or cosmology, they don't need to define what space is, just to use the knowledge others have gained, and to support those who seek knowledge in a useful systematic way (i.e., scientists--many of whom live by the Bible by the way).

In conclusion, Mr. Goh, it seems like a reasonable simplification for an aviation model to hold the rotation and curvature of the earth as constants. Just think of a wind tunnel. The wind tunnel can test a lot of things about an engineering design. A plane could fly just as well on a flat earth as on a rotating one if the curvature is so large that it can be safely treated as flat in some stage of the modeling. The model doesn't need to also represent the curvature (globularity) of the earth and its rotation if they don't change the insights about proper design decisions significantly.

The Bible is valuable because of the revelations and spiritual principles it provides. It seems perfectly plausible that the prophets had an innaccurate conception of the cosmos and that they were spoken to in a language they could understand and accept, rather than corrected on such a minor point in the grand scheme of things. Ask yourself, will I judge the poor and the fatherless any more righteously if I am decieved about the shape of the earth or if I have a correct conception of the cosmos? It makes no difference. Just like the airplane designers who don't need to know the minimal influence of curvature and rotation on their design test, the prophets didn't need to have an accurate understanding of the universe.

Supposing some prophets did receive instruction about the correct structure, which I believe they did, and their correct view is not in the Bible. Why?

I'm a pilot and I've seen the spherical shape of the earth at higher altitudes and navigate using great arc distances because of the shape. Next time you ride a plane dont mention your flat earth belief to the pilot. He might throw you out the plane jusy to show you how round the world really is.

I am glad you have researched and found this out. Only the Holy Ghost will teach truth. The bible specifically says what it says, and we are to search all things out. In watching the sun and moon I have noticed that both are in the firmament, as bible says. As we see the world in more chaos and shaking, as tornadoes and flooding, volcanoes erupting and so much more in all parts the world, why can't people believe in the bible and know it all truth inspired by the breath of God. It does not save you for knowing this, but it does give you the foundation of what is truth. Nor will you go to hell for believing. Two years ago (5/26) I shared the link to Eric Dubay's video ,"The History of Flat Earth". Rob Skiba's seminars, Genesis Revelation" are excellent, as well! The first session is almost entirely about Flat Earth. He uses the Bible heavily, as well as practical research. He says that we are to take the Bible literally except where the writer tells us otherwise, such as parables, something is like..., etc. (Amen). It's too bad that fundamental preachers tell us that, but when it comes to the Earth's cosmology, they don't follow their own advice. When it come to the Earth's cosmology, they want to claim a lot of things as "metaphorical" or "hypothetical" .They want to believe what NASA has told us all of our lives, and NASA has been proven time and time again to be a bunch of liars.
