Deep Revelations of Jesus from the Cherubim of the Bible

Deep Revelations of Jesus from the Cherubim of the Bible

The Gospel of Matthew is the face of a lion - representing Jesus as King. The Gospel of Luke is the face of a man - representing Jesus as Man. The Gospel of John is the face of an eagle - representing Jesus as God. The Gospel of Mark is the face of an ox - representing Jesus as Servant.

Hi dear reader,

A cherub is a type of powerful angel. Cherubim is the plural for it, and cherubim were stationed at the east of the Garden of Eden to prevent man from accessing the tree of life, after Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

“And each one had four faces: the first face was the face of the cherub, the second the face of a man, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle. Then the cherubim rose upward. They are the [same four] living beings [regarded as one] that I saw by the River Chebar [in Babylonia].” (EZEKIEL 10:14-15 AMP)

What exactly does the “face of the cherub” look like as mentioned in the passage?

Knowing this truth will help you understand the true nature and essence of a cherub.

The prophet Ezekiel wrote that these four cherubim in the passage are the same ones that he saw by the River Chebar. He described them here:

“Regarding the form and appearance of their faces: they [each] had the face of a man [in front], and each had the face of a lion on the right side, and the face of an ox on the left side; all four also had the face of an eagle [at the back of their heads].” (EZEKIEL 1:10 AMP)

Notice that this time it says “face of an ox” instead of “face of the cherub”?
The other three faces tally in both accounts.

So why is the face of the cherub equated with the face of an ox?
I was confused by this for a while, until I meditated on it and the Holy Spirit dropped the answer into my spirit.

Testimonial for this book:

"Hi Milton, just finished reading your book. Truly awe-inspiring! The Holy Spirit is all over this. I say this because I only ever listen to teachings from a few ministers, but I kept being drawn to this teaching. After many distractions, I eventually got around to actually watching your video. I’m so glad I did. It created a new hunger in me to dig deeper in the Word, but this time reading it through a different lens. Your book has definitely helped me understand this topic a lot better. Thank you for sharing this revelation with us Milton Goh. May many more be blessed by your work as I have been. God Bless you abundantly!"

Sandcastles Don't Last Forever

$7.99

This is the eBook version.

If you prefer to get the Paperback version (physical copy), you can get it on Amazon here for US$15.

About the Book:

One day when I was singing praises to God, an image floated up in my spirit: a big and beautiful sandcastle being washed away by the waves from the sea. God was teaching me the futility of holding tightly onto worldly possessions because like the sandcastle, they won't last, and one day will cease to exist.

He taught me from His word to focus on Him and by doing so, I would reap great eternal rewards before Jesus' throne at the start of the Millennium. These rewards will last forever and can't be destroyed or stolen.

It is my prayer that the revelations in this book will help you to live with a focus on the things above where God is, fulfill your God-given calling in life, be happier and to accumulate more eternal rewards to your account.

In this Book, you will learn about:

- Heavenly investment advice and the futility of worldly pursuits from a trillionaire in the Bible

- Why God has to reward us in order to be righteous

- When and how God will destroy the current earth and sky to make way for new ones

- The types of fireproof works that earn eternal rewards at the end of time

- The abundant rewards of doing good works while abiding by the non-disclosure agreement between God and you

- The difference between the temporary places of torment: Sheol and Abaddon

- Who is the Antichrist and his name revealed in the Bible

- What is the Mark of the Beast and why it disqualifies its recipients from receiving salvation

- The different judgments at the throne of Jesus Christ and what it means for you as a believer

- How to fulfill your calling and maximize your gifts to receive the best eternal rewards

Testimonials about the contents of this book:

"Sandcastles Don't Last Forever is very well written, its message loud and clear. Milton Goh gives common-sense insight on often confusing Scripture, which is much appreciated in these troubled times. My understanding of the Bible has definitely improved."

- Mike Garrett, first Editor/ Publisher for Stephen King and Author of Christian Novel "Innocence Denied", from USA

"This book is absolutely breathtaking. We don't work to be saved but were created to do good works. I am so energized and excited to know God values our works and we will be rewarded. This is all Glory to Jesus... I cant wait to throw my crowns at his feet and thank him for saving my life!" - Evangelist Michael Clark from USA

"Dear Milton Goh, I truly thank our Abba, Father for the revelations in this book. It is so amazing how I begin to discover important verses in the Bible that I have never read. That instead of following riches, with sleepless nights, and actually shortening our lives, we are just to 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ', and 'Love one another'. How beautiful to find out that actually in the Bible there is both 'Earthly or Worldly Investment Wisdom' and 'Eternal Investment Wisdom' according to the revelations here from Ecclesiastes 5:14-17 WEB)!; “It seems like Solomon was not only wise at earning material riches but also at earning eternal riches.” All the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ! God bless you Milton Goh for such a wonderful book!" - Nitta Nierra from Belgium

“Thank you Milton. I have just finished reading “Sandcastles Don’t Last Forever”. It’s such a good book that's filled with God's word. I love it very much. Might read again if I have the time. Thanks so much!” - Mally Chai from Singapore

"I'm reading this book and loving it! The revelations of the Gospel truth shared and it's life applications are absolutely amazing! The true essence of angels

Regarding the four gospels, we know that each one is represented by a face as well:

The Gospel of Matthew is the face of a lion - representing Jesus as King.
The Gospel of Luke is the face of a man - representing Jesus as Man.
The Gospel of John is the face of an eagle - representing Jesus as God.
The Gospel of Mark is the face of an ox - representing Jesus as Servant.

That final face is where the answer lies... The face of an ox represents a servant. That is exactly what a cherub is:

“Are not all the angels ministering spirits sent out [by God] to serve (accompany, protect) those who will inherit salvation? [Of course they are!]” (HEBREWS 1:14 AMP)

All angels are servants of God, tasked to minister to us who will receive salvation.
Thus, the face of an ox perfectly depicts what the cherub is: a servant.

They are not kings, men or gods, hence the other three faces (lion, man, eagle) don’t portray their identity as well as the face of an ox does.

We musn't worship nor pray to angels. The Apostle Paul warned against it, and an angel in John's revelation also told him not to worship him.

"Let no one defraud you of your prize [your freedom in Christ and your salvation] by insisting on mock humility and the worship of angels, going into detail about visions [he claims] he has seen [to justify his authority], puffed up [in conceit] by his unspiritual mind," (Colossians 2:18 AMP)

"I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. But he said to me, “Do not do that. I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets and with those who heed and remember [the truths contained in] the words of this book. Worship God.” (Revelation 22:8-9 AMP)

Meditate on this:

“For He will command His angels in regard to you, To protect and defend and guard you in all your ways [of obedience and service]. They will lift you up in their hands, So that you do not [even] strike your foot against a stone.” (PSALM 91:11-12 AMP)

The angels are always ministering to you under God’s command.
Be conscious of how protected you are, for you are not left alone to fend for yourself in this world.

It reminds me of one time when the enemies were sent to seize the prophet Elisha:

“Now the heart of the king of Aram (Syria) was enraged over this thing. He called his servants and said to them, “Will you not tell me which of us is helping the king of Israel?” One of his servants said, “None [of us is helping him], my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.” So he said, “Go and see where he is, so that I may send [men] and seize him.” And he was told, “He is in Dothan.” So he sent horses and chariots and a powerful army there. They came by night and surrounded the city. The servant of the man of God got up early and went out, and behold, there was an army with horses and chariots encircling the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, “Oh no, my master! What are we to do?” Elisha answered, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Then Elisha prayed and said, “LORD, please, open his eyes that he may see.” And the LORD opened the servants eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire surrounding Elisha. When the Arameans came down to him, Elisha prayed to the LORD and said, “Please strike this people (nation) with blindness.” And God struck them with blindness, in accordance with Elisha’s request.” (2 KINGS 6:11-18 AMP)

Like Elisha’s servant, our eyes of spiritual discernment aren’t always opened, or else we would probably freak out at the battles between angels and demons going on all around us.

But the truth remains that God’s powerful servants are at work for you, protecting you from dangers that you don’t even know about.

There are more for you than against you, and if God is for you, who dares to be against you? Hallelujah!

There will be a repeated, alternating pattern for the decorations in the future temple: cherubim with two faces showing and palm trees. God does not choose decorations for His eternal house randomly. There is a deep significance to these decorations.

The Meaning of the Lion, Man and Palm Tree Decorations in the Eternal Temple

Now that we know more about angels and specifically cherubim, let us go deeper in our study.

In the Bible, there four temples built for God mentioned that I know of: 1) the portable Tabernacle after the children of Israel’s exodus from Egypt, 2) the First Temple built by Solomon, 3) the Second Temple referred to as "Herod's Temple" during Jesus’ time on earth, and 4) a future Temple/House of God which will be in the New Jerusalem on the new earth.

“It was carved with [figures of] cherubim and palm trees; so that a palm decoration was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces, so that the face of a man was toward the palm decoration on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm decoration on the other side. It was carved [this way] on the entire house (temple) all around. From the floor to [the space] above the entrance cherubim and palm decorations were carved, and also on the wall of the nave [the Holy Place].” (EZEKIEL 41:18-20 AMP)

For this study, we will focus on the future temple, which will be God’s eternal dwelling place - He will live together with us on the new earth.

In the passage above, it mentions a repeated, alternating pattern for the decorations in the future temple: cherubim with two faces showing and palm trees.

God does not choose decorations for His eternal house randomly. There is a deep significance to these decorations.

We have established earlier in this post that cherubim are angels that have four faces, and each face represents an aspect of Jesus (scroll up and read again if you forgot).

So why did God choose to have only the faces of man and lion to show up in the decorations in His future dwelling place?

That’s because at that time, all those on earth dwelling with Him will be the righteous ones in their glorified spiritual bodies, never to experience sickness, death, poverty or any symptoms of the curse.

They won’t need Jesus to be their Servant as they will be already perfected by God - having no flaw, with nothing to fix or mend.
This makes the face of an ox unnecessary.

Secondly, God the Father and Jesus will be dwelling with us forever on the new earth.
Things won’t be like they are now, where God is up in heaven and we are down on earth.
This makes the face of an eagle unnecessary.

So the two faces that remain, the man and the lion, are the important truths that will last forever:
Jesus will forever be a Man and He will forever be our King. Hallelujah!

Then what about the palm tree decorations?

When Jesus was on earth, there was a day where the people honored Him as King with branches of palm trees as He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey:

“The next day, when the large crowd who had come to the Passover feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, they took branches of palm trees [in homage to Him as King] and went out to meet Him, and they began shouting and kept shouting “Hosanna! BLESSED (celebrated, praised) IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, even the King of Israel!” And Jesus, finding a young donkey, sat on it; just as it is written [in Scripture], “DO NOT FEAR, DAUGHTER OF ZION; BEHOLD, YOUR KING IS COMING, SEATED ON A DONKEY’S COLT.” His disciples did not understand [the meaning of] these things at first; but when Jesus was glorified and exalted, they remembered that these things had been written about Him and had been done to Him.” (JOHN 12:12-16 AMP)

We will worship Jesus as King with branches of palm trees again after the Rapture, when we stand before Him in heaven:

“After these things I looked, and this is what I saw: a vast multitude which no one could count, [gathered] from every nation and from all the tribes and peoples and languages [of the earth], standing before the throne and before the Lamb (Christ), dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands; and in a loud voice they cried out, saying, “Salvation [belongs] to our God who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb [our salvation is the Trinity’s to give, and to God the Trinity we owe our deliverance].” And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the [twenty-four] elders and the four living creatures; and they fell to their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and majesty and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might belong to our God forever and ever. Amen.” Then one of the elders responded, saying to me, “These who are dressed in the long white robes--who are they, and from where did they come?” I said to him, “My lord, you know [the answer].” And he said to me, “These are the people who come out of the great tribulation (persecution), and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb [because of His atoning sacrifice]. For this reason, they are [standing] before the throne of God; and they serve Him [in worship] day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them and shelter and protect them [with His presence]. They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any [scorching] heat; for the Lamb who is in the center of the throne will be their Shepherd, and He will guide them to springs of the waters of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes [giving them eternal comfort].”” (REVELATION 7:9-17 AMP)

Therefore the palm tree decorations represent us who are worshipping Jesus as our King.
We who are planted like palm trees in the house of the Lord:

“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing, To declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” (Psalms 92:12-15 NKJV)

Together, the two-faced cherubim and palm tree decorations paint a beautiful picture of truth:
Jesus the Man who is our King will dwell with us on the new earth, and we will be privileged to worship in His presence forever!

“There will no longer exist anything that is cursed [because sin and illness and death are gone]; and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve and worship Him [with great awe and joy and loving devotion]; they will [be privileged to] see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads. And there will no longer be night; they have no need for lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will illumine them; and they will reign [as kings] forever and ever.” (REVELATION 22:3-5 AMP)

Dear Goh
I perused the above article as I wanted to brush up my knowledge on Cherubim.
Towards the end of your article you mention about the fourth temple being the eternal one in the new Jerusalem on the new earth. But I do read in Rev 21 vs 22 that in the new Jerusalem there will be no temple as the Lord God , the Almighty will be it's temple and the Lamb. Can you clarify your statement please .

Hi! The fourth is better know as God’s sanctuary where His throne room is.

It is not a temple like before whereby there is a holy place, and holy of Holies that only contain shadows of the substance, mere representations of the true things.

The final sanctuary is where God dwells in person.
