29 January 2017 - The Secret to a Prosperous Life - Pastor Mark Ng Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Chinese New Year Sermon Notes OnlineWhat you are listening to is very important. It is a death or life matter! 5 C's of a mum on Chinese New Year: 1) Choose - groceries at the supermarket 2) Cook - food 3) Clean - the house 4) Connect - the relatives 5) Control - her tongue. Do not say die, only say live. She wants her family to have health and prosperity. The end in mind is for her family to sit, rest and feed. Similarly, God wants us to rest and He wants to provide us with everything that we need. God asked Adam "Where are you?" in the Garden of Eden, not the other way round. God loves us, and He is love. 2 Corinthians 5:18-21 - The reunion is started from God. He wants us to be reconciled with Him. God wants us to come back to His house because in His house there is food. Ask yourself everyday: Am I resting? If you're not resting in the grace zone, you are not understanding God's love for you. It is God who provides for you. Don't worry about tomorrow. Once you are rested, your blood pressure and your cells will all be rested - that comes through listening to the word of God. “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (II Corinthians 5:18-21 NKJV)

22 January 2017 - The Secret of Hearing that Brings Untold Blessings (9 Jan 2011) - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online(Originally preached by Pastor Prince at Rock Auditorium on 9 January 2011.) Man has an inclination towards the negative side. Just one negative remark can upset our day. We have to learn how to focus on things that are good and positive, especially on the gospel. We have a good news gospel! Everything we receive from God is through faith. If you don't receive it through faith, even if it comes on you, it will leave. We are healed by faith, and saved by faith. Don't concentrate on fighting the devil. Focus on faith. When you are in faith, the devil is defeated - your fight is to fight the good fight of faith - fight to remain in faith. Faith has got to do with Jesus. He is the Author and Finisher of Faith - He writes it and completes it. Romans 10:17 - How does faith come? It is not by preaching the Ten Commandments. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. Stay in faith to be positioned under the spout where the glory comes out. Faith doesn't come by having heard once. It comes by repeated hearing and hearing. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17 NKJV) 15 January 2017 - Rest and Receive Your Victory - Pastor Mark Ng Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineWhen you are completely absorbed in Jesus, your life will surely be transformed. 1940 Cultural Revolution in China - persecution of Christians in China. China received a word from the Holy Spirit in that time that this generation would bring the pure gospel back to Jerusalem. Israel already knows the Law. If you tell them about the Law, they will say "I already know and have the Law!". But if you preach grace to Israel, they will receive the Lord Jesus Christ. The woman by the well in Samaria who had a shameful past and lifestyle had an encounter with Jesus and she became a bold evangelist for God! When we become conscious of Jesus, we are not conscious about ourselves. Condemnation is the nutrient that helps sin to grow bigger and bigger. Romans 4:25 - We are not just forgiven of our sins, we are also justified before God! Jesus was delivered up because of our offenses! “who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.” (Romans 4:25 NKJV) Romans 10:10 - Your mouth will surely speak when faith arises in your heart. “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:10 NKJV) 1 January 2017 - Vision Sunday: 2017 The Year of Jubilee - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineIn the Old Covenant of the Law, God led man by the hand and led them out of Egypt. But in the New Covenant of Grace, it's much more intimate. God leads man by the heart. It's totally dependent on God, not on man. God works with numbers, years and days. He has special days in Ancient Israel that serves as visual aids for His people. The first Passover was a visual aid for Israel. Since then, Israel has been observing it every year. But when Jesus came, He was the fulfillment of what the visual aid was pointing to. Jesus died on Passover and rose on the Feast of Firstfruits. Jesus was born on a feast day as well - the Feast of Tabernacles. There are seven feasts in Israel. Why does New Creation Church have a theme of the year? 1) Many times God gives us things ahead of time so that when it happens, we know that it is God. 2) We thank God for His deliverance, miracles and help in our lives. For example: God protected you from death in a car accident. God gives us the theme of the year so that when it happens, you can give Him the glory. The theme of the year also means that God is emphasizing a certain truth for that year. It doesn't mean that it cannot happen in any other year, but God is emphasizing it in that year. Don't expect God to speak about everything that's going to happen this year in just one Sunday. God looks at churches not just as a corporate whole, but also individually. There are different truths that He gives to individual churches to emphasize each year. At the beginning of last year, Pastor Prince prophesied three words that there would be "floods, fire, and blood". There were deadly floods in 2016. Blood: tragic terrorist attacks in the world, one of the worst was in Nice, France. Fire: Terrible fire in Israel that destroyed many hectares of land - Because of the fire, even Turkey (who had cold relations with Israel) and Russia sent help to Israel. It turned out for Israel's good because she was isolated before that. All the Messianic Jews and their properties were safe and unharmed by the fire. Israel is the centerpiece of God's prophetic timetable. God so loved the entire world, but God chose Israel so that Israel could demonstrate to the nations what a good God He was. However instead, Israel failed in her mission. Israel missed God and rejected their Messiah. The beautiful thing is that God's love is everlasting. Even when you're not faithful to God, God is still faithful to you. Israel is temporarily set aside. God started saving people out of nations of the world and forming out of both Jews and Gentiles (non-Jew), one body of Christ. There's no such thing as a Christian nation, there's only Christian people. In the Old Testament, God wanted Israel to be the prophetic time clock, but Israel failed and God led her into captivity. It's God's discipline. If they don't want to manifest God's goodness, they will manifest that God is a holy and righteous God. Israel was taken into captivity by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Daniel who was taken captive in Babylon had a vision of a huge golden statue, and how the whole world would be dominated by the Gentiles, beginning with Babylon, then Medo-Persia, Grecians, Romans (when God sent His Son to Israel). Then a rock not cut with human hands (Jesus) will smash the leg of the golden statue and the time of the Gentiles will end. Israel rejected Jesus and the kingdom of God was held in abeyance. If Israel had accepted Jesus as their Messiah, they would be in paradise and the whole world would be blessed. Because Israel rejected Jesus, in these 2000 years, God has been dealing with the Gentiles and bring out a people for His church. God's now thing is the church. God is dealing with Israel even now. After 2000 years we see Israel has come back as a nation. Jesus will return and He will establish His kingdom on earth. It may happen tonight, this week, it may happen this year! It's a very prophetic year. Jesus will rule from Israel to bless the entire earth. There'll be no more sickness and no more disease. Even the animal kingdom will change its nature. The Bible says that wolf and the lamb will lie down together. Children will play near the poisonous snake's home and will not be in danger. We're looking forward to that day. That will happen after the seven years tribulation, and we will be Raptured before the seven years tribulation. The Rapture can happen anytime now. The Rapture is nothing more than believers receiving a brand new body - you will never grow old, never die, forever young, strong and healthy! Jesus comes and give us the final piece of the inheritance that He died to give us. In a twinkling of an eye, we will all be changed. We're now entering into 2017. Does God know about the Gregorian Calendar? Yes of course He does. But in the Hebrew calendar, this year is 5777 (3 sevens). Revelation 13:18 - The Bible says that the number of the antichrist is 666. When Goliath came against David, his spear was 600 shekels heavy, he had 6 pieces of armor and the final 6 was his cubits. 666 marked Goliath. 6 is the number of man. But 666 is extreme flesh, possessed by the devil. In fact the Ten toes of the golden statue are ten nations, a revived Roman Empire. From there will come a leader that will promise false peace and will produce false signs and wonders in his hands. He's the antichrist who will lead the world into Satanic worship. Jesus will return and destroy this man. “Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.” (Revelation 13:18 NKJV) That's the whole plan of God, before we hear about the year. 2017 is the Year of Jubilee! This theme of the year is for all the believers following Pastor Joseph Prince's ministry. God is declaring Jubilee for you! My Nasty and Enjoyable Wisdom Tooth Extraction and Surgery Experiences at National Dental Centre in SingaporeSo on my annual dental check up last year, the dentist had an X-ray done to check my teeth, and it turns out that I was advised to have wisdom tooth extraction and surgery done on all four of my wisdom teeth. My upper left and right wisdom teeth grew out nicely, but my bottom left and right wisdom teeth were impacted, which means they were growing out in a direction that would collide with neighboring teeth. For normal wisdom teeth, you can have them extracted normally by the dentist with pliers. But for impacted wisdom teeth, you have to undergo wisdom tooth surgery which involves the dentist drilling the wisdom tooth down the center before using force to break the tooth into parts and removing the parts one by one (sounds scary, but it should be painless). Apparently wisdom teeth have no real purpose and leaving them there your mouth just makes brushing and flossing difficult, and occasionally your biting and chewing motions would cause ulcerations on your gums due to how far back the teeth are in your mouth. I did this dental checkup at a private dental clinic near my house, but the cost of the wisdom tooth extraction and surgery offered there was too high in my opinion. So what I did was make an appointment to have another dental checkup at Bedok Singhealth Polyclinic, and there I was given a referral letter and also an appointment date to have my wisdom teeth checked out at National Dental Centre (located at Singapore General Hospital - nearest MRT is Outram Park, about 10 mins walking distance). The reason why I went to the Polyclinic is because if you have a referral letter from them, you can get a government subsidy on wisdom tooth extraction and surgery at National Dental Centre, and the savings are significant. I used my Medisave to fully pay for the procedures - no cash was needed - it cost around S$600+ for one upper wisdom tooth extraction and one bottom wisdom tooth surgery. So in total, all four wisdom teeth cost me around only S$1300, as compared to much higher costs at private dental clinics. I ended up getting my upper two wisdom teeth extracted and the bottom two impacted wisdom teeth surgically-removed at National Dental Centre. I did this on two occasions: the first time on 17th Nov 2016, I underwent wisdom teeth extraction and surgery on the two wisdom teeth on the right side of my mouth. The second time on 6th Jan 2017, I underwent wisdom teeth extraction and surgery on the two wisdom teeth on the left side of my mouth. I chose to split it up to two occasions so that I could have one side of my mouth still available to chew food while the other side was recovering from surgery. This strategy worked out well. During the first time on 17th Nov 2016, because the dentist called Dr Rahul didn't inject enough local anesthesia into my gums, I actually felt the pain when the dentist drilled my bottom right wisdom tooth. It didn't help that that wisdom tooth was located near a nerve, so the pain was amplified! MAJOR OUCH! The needle used for injecting the anesthesia is HUGE by the way. The injections (I remember it being around four times) is actually the most painful part of the surgery. After the injections, the dentist left me there on the chair to rest and wait to let the medicine take effect. The numbness is quite an annoying feeling because you end up not being able to talk properly for a few hours and your tongue and lips feel swollen and weird. 8 January 2017 - The Year of Jubilee: Freed From the Fear of Death - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineJesus said that Israel would be under the foot of the Gentiles until the time of the Gentiles was fulfilled. God meant to rule the earth through Israel, but they sinned against God, especially in the sin of idolatry. Although Israel sinned, the sacrifices offered at the temple covered their sins year by year. 1917 was a year of Jubilee - General Allenby marched into Jerusalem and the Turks surrendered and not a bullet was fired. The call was made for all the Jews to return to Israel in 1917. The call was not heeded well. We are the '11th hour generation'. This generation is the most blessed of all generations. 1967 was also a year of Jubilee - After the Six Day War, Israel got back more land, including Jerusalem. This is fulfilling Bible prophecy after 2000 years. 2017 - The latest year of Jubilee. It's going to be a great year! Leviticus 25:9-10 - Exactly at 3pm, the trumpet at the Temple was sounded when Jesus died on the cross. Pastor Prince's prophetic words: 2017 may begin with troubles, but you should expect the free favors of God to abound this year. “Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.” (Leviticus 25:9-10 NKJV) As we look forward to the Lord Jesus coming back for us, the Rapture will come very soon. We are the generation that has seen Israel come back as a nation. However we do not know the day or the hour where Jesus is coming back, but we can know the times and seasons. The Greek word for the Rapture is "harpazo" which means "a snatching away". In Israel, they practice "snatching the bride". The bride doesn't know the day or hour that the groom will come to get her. The groom in the meantime will be preparing a home for them. But she knows the season, and when to start dressing up. The Rapture is nothing more than believers receiving the final possession that Jesus died to give us - a new spiritual body. We will not be like Casper the Ghost floating around, but we will be forever young, forever healthy, and never tired. We will be able to travel at the speed of light - how fast will you go when you know you cannot die? 25 December 2016 - Al-Tirah: Living A Fear-Free Life - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." - (Isaiah 9:6, NKJV) Luke 7:36-50 - The woman with the alabaster box of ointment had a questionable career. Every time she went to work as a prostitute, she lost a bit of her soul. When Jesus was a guest in Simon the Pharisee's house, the woman "bedewed" Jesus' feet with her tears and wiped His feet with her hair. The ointment she bought was very expensive, but she poured it all onto Jesus' feet. Jesus spoke a parable to Simon the Pharisee in terms of what he understood best - money. Simon loved Jesus little, because he thought he was forgiven little. The woman loved Jesus much because she knew that she was forgiven much. Jesus told her "your faith has saved you". It's not our works that saves us, it's our faith in Jesus. “Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat. And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.” And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” So he said, “Teacher, say it.” “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?” Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.” And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”” (Luke 7:36-50 NKJV) Jesus did not begin existing in the virgin Mary's womb. He existed with the Father since the beginning. There are no three Gods. There is only one God. The Lord our God is one. "One" can mean a single God, and it can also mean the united God. If you are worried or troubled, remember that Jesus is the Prince of Peace. The peace He gives is an aggressive peace. Even in the midst of your trouble, you can have His peace. The night before Jesus was crucified, Jesus said "My peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you." The peace Jesus gives us is not the false peace that the world has. It is true peace. Luke 1:11-13 - "Al-tirah" in Hebrew means "fear not". If a citizen of heaven, an angel, comes from a place where there is peace, no death, and no decay, what would he say? What would his message be? The Christmas story tells us that when the angel Gabriel came to Zechariah, he told him, "do not be afraid". It's beautiful how Hebrew names carry lots of meaning - The name "Zechariah" means "God remembers" - don't be afraid, God remembers! We are fearing something all the time, but the message from heaven is al-tirah, do not be afraid! All of us believers have favor with God. “Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him. But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.” (Luke 1:11-13 NKJV) |
