27 September 2020 - Receive Double Portion for your Losses - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPastor Joseph Prince taught today that God wants us to believe that we are righteous, and to feel at home in His presence. For everything that Satan has stolen from you, you can confidently declare that "This is mine" and expect God to give you double restoration for your losses! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. King of my Heart - Sarah Mcmillan 2. Rain Upon my Life - New Creation Worship You can receive healings and breakthroughs through prayer, even from a distance. Space is not a limitation for God. Jesus compressed time in an instant by turning water to excellent wine at the wedding in Cana of Galilee. That was Jesus’ first miracle. The second miracle He did was healing the nobleman’s son from a distance. These two miracles show that Jesus is the Lord of Time and Space. Cana means “to acquire or to get”. Galilee means “a circuit”, like the winding staircase. We receive from God as we walk in a circuit, up the winding stairs. Another incident of Jesus healing someone from a distance: the healing of the Roman centurion’s servant. Jesus healed just by speaking a word, without laying hands upon the servant. When you believe that you will receive your healing as the word goes forth, without anyone laying hands on you, Jesus calls that “great faith”. God is not limited by time or space. We have to preach the rhema word of God out of the logos. Rhema is the “now word”, the quickened “word in season” for us. Romans 7:6-11 - Pastor Prince is not against the Law. He is for the Law, for the reason that God gave the Law. If a nation lives according to the Ten Commandments, that nation will be prosperous. But once the law keeping systems fall, you will you see anarchy, rioting and looting. The Law only gives behavior modification, but not heart transformation. It is the Gospel of Grace that transforms us from the inside out. If you break one commandment in the Ten Commandments, you are counted as having broken them all. When the children of Israel boasted in their ability to keep God’s commandments, the next thing you see is that they made the golden calf. The Law stirs up sinful passions, making one sin more. When you remove the Law, it’s like you’re removing the stone from Lazarus’ tomb, allowing him to step forth. Are you removing the stone from decaying flesh (an unbeliever), or a person who has been resurrected like Lazarus (represents a born-again believer)? For the case of a believer, the Law is a hindrance. Grace makes you exceed the requirements of the Law. There is no such distinguishing between moral law, ceremonial law and sacrificial law. The context in the passage below is talking about the Ten Commandments—“you shall not covet” is one of the commandments. Sin takes advantage of the commandments of the Law, like a base of military operations, to produce all sorts of sinful passions in your flesh. The strength of sin is the Law. The more you try not to do something, the more you are doomed to do it. Sin is in a dormant state in the flesh without the Ten Commandments. “But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that in which we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter. What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin, except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting, unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” But sin, finding occasion through the commandment, produced in me all kinds of coveting. For apart from the law, sin is dead. I was alive apart from the law once, but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. The commandment, which was for life, this I found to be for death; for sin, finding occasion through the commandment, deceived me, and through it killed me.” (Romans 7:6-11 WEB) 2 Corinthians 3:7 - The Ten Commandments is the only part of the Law that was engraved on stones. It is the ministry of death. When a person placed himself under the Ten Commandments, he subjects himself to death. The devil is never more subtle than when he comes as a religious spirit. “But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,” (II Corinthians 3:7 NKJV) Romans 3:19-24 - The purpose of the Law is to close every mouth from saying that they can be righteous by their own performance. To keep the Law perfectly means to not sin in both thoughts and deeds. No mortal person can do that. On the Mount of Transfiguration, Elijah (a picture of the prophets) and Moses (a picture of the Law) testified of Jesus. Everyone has sinned, so everyone is qualified to receive the free gift of righteousness through faith in Jesus. Universalism is a heresy. The gift of righteousness is available to all (to receive), but it only comes on all who believe. Lordship salvation is a heresy too. Some people teach that “if Jesus is not Lord of all, then He is not your Lord at all.” This puts a lot of pressure upon people to earn salvation by works. Salvation is received freely by faith alone. Jesus’ death made a way for us to come out from the marriage to the Law. Believers may fall into sin but they won’t live in a lifestyle of sin. If you’re saved you won’t live in sin. Your default mode will be wanting to please God. “Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God. Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin. But now apart from the law, a righteousness of God has been revealed, being testified by the law and the prophets; even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all those who believe. For there is no distinction, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;” (Romans 3:19-24 WEB) Romans 10:3 - You can’t establish your own righteousness by your works. The only way is to receive righteousness by faith in Jesus. “For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn’t subject themselves to the righteousness of God.” (Romans 10:3 WEB) You cannot sin away your salvation. The gift of righteousness cannot be lost. When you were an unbeliever, your righteous works couldn’t make you righteous. Now that you are saved, your sins cannot make you unrighteous again. What Jesus the last Adam did is greater than what the first Adam did.

20 September 2020 - Receive Health and Prosperity from your High Priest - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPastor Joseph Prince taught us how to practically receive health and prosperity through the ways God has graciously provided for the church: the Lord's Supper and the tithe. Just as Melchizedek brought the bread and wine, blessing Abram, Jesus is our high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Goodness of God - Bethel Music 2. In The Presence of Jehovah 3. My King - New Creation Worship Originally preached at Hillsong Church’s Sunday service on 7 July 2019. The devil has come against the church prospering in all things—including financially. There is a spirit of intimidation working against the church. Wherever the Gospel has gone, it produces health, healing, wellbeing and prosperity. Wherever the Gospel has not reached, women are still subjugated and people are still stuck in poverty. 3 John 1:2 - Prospering in all things is not about spiritual prosperity only. Spiritual prosperity is already in the “even as your soul prospers”. If you give to the Lord, prepare to receive more than you gave. You can count how many seeds are in an apple, but you can’t count how many apples are in a seed. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.” (3 John 1:2 WEB) 2 Corinthians 8:9 - The context of this verse is about giving and finances. They didn’t even give Jesus the courtesy of a loincloth. He hung there naked on the cross as the soldiers gambled for His clothes. Jesus became poor at the cross. He wasn’t poor before that. “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9 WEB) Hebrew 5:10-12 - God judges you based on how good your high priest is. As the high priest goes, so goes the nation. Jesus is our high priest in the order of Melchizedek. This portion of Scripture about Melchizedek is the most quoted Old Testament Scripture in the New Testament. The Melchizedek is nothing but blessing, and blessing. There is no cursing like under the Levitical priesthood. Jesus' priesthood also has no cursing because Jesus became a curse on the tree to redeem you from the curse! The revelations about Melchizedek is solid food, not milk—it’s for matured Christians who are ready to receive. “named by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek. About him we have many words to say, and hard to interpret, seeing you have become dull of hearing. For although by this time you should be teachers, you again need to have someone teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the revelations of God. You have come to need milk, and not solid food.” (Hebrews 5:10-12 WEB) The only time Melchizedek appears in the Scriptures is after Abram won a battle against four kings to rescue his nephew Lot. 13 September 2020 - Praying in Tongues: Your Powerful Threshing Sledge - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPastor Joseph Prince taught that the gift of praying in tongues is a precious firstborn inheritance. It is a New Covenant weapon that destroys your mountains of problems and receives God's blessings, so pray in the Spirit often! God is no respecter of persons. What He can do for someone else, He can also do for you. While we were still sinners, God sent Jesus to die for us. Children who are loved will imitate their parents. The entrance of God’s word gives light, even if the message seems to be irrelevant to your situation. If you can’t see, just switch on the light instead of cursing the darkness. Isaiah 59:19-60:3 - The western countries had the revelation of the power of the name of the Lord first. But the glory of the Lord will be seen in the eastern countries (Asia). “Rising of the sun” reminds us of Japan, “the land of the rising sun”. God is going to do great things in the eastern countries like Japan, South Korea and even North Korea. Glory comes after grace. Keep God’s word in your mouth, especially praying in tongues. The notable thing that Isaac did was to uncover the wells dug by Abraham. Those wells were covered up by the Philistines. The devil is covering the wells of God’s word but God is progressively uncovering these truths now. A lot of believers are afraid of the word “prosperity” spoken in church. The devil has covered this well. Many hypocrites preach against prosperity but they themselves have big houses and two or three cars. God’s will is for us to prosper in all things—but not for greed. Pray in tongues. God’s glory will arise upon you. “So shall they fear Yahweh’s name from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which Yahweh’s breath drives. “A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from disobedience in Jacob,” says Yahweh. “As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says Yahweh. “My Spirit who is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your offspring, nor out of the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says Yahweh, “from henceforth and forever.” ““Arise, shine; for your light has come, and Yahweh’s glory has risen on you. For, behold, darkness will cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but Yahweh will arise on you, and his glory shall be seen on you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” (Isaiah 59:19-60:3 WEB) Acts 2:16-19 - God is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh in these last days. When we prophesy, God will show wonders. “But this is what has been spoken through the prophet Joel: ‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams. Yes, and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days, I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy. I will show wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.” (Acts 2:16-19 WEB) Follow after love and desire spiritual gifts. The Holy Spirit will work through you. When you sense a flowing of God’s love and compassion, follow that prompting and the gifts of the Holy Spirit will manifest. These gifts are not just for ministering to believers, but to unbelievers as well. 6 September 2020 - Activate the Helmet of Salvation and the Sword of the Spirit - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPastor Joseph Prince taught us how to rely on the Holy Spirit which produces in us a higher standard of moral excellence than is possible under the Law. By relying on the heavenly prayer language of "praying in the Spirit", we can repair our bodies, minds and position ourselves to receive breakthroughs which we don't know how to pray for in words! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. See a Victory - Elevation Worship 2. Turn your Eyes Upon Jesus 2 Peter 1:2 - Grace, mercy and peace (shalom) is not multiplied by us doing more, but through the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. “Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,” (2 Peter 1:2 WEB) Romans 10:14,17 - Faith can come and increase by hearing and hearing the word of Christ. The context here is hearing through a preacher. “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? ...So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:14, 17 WEB) Philippians 2:13 - The indwelling Holy Spirit works (energeo) in you to become both willing and able to do His purpose. “For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13 WEB) Ephesians 4:28 - The Law says “Do not steal”, but Grace asks us to work with our hands so that we can give. If you keep the Law. you can avoid stealing and still be stingy. But Grace makes you generous. “Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.” (Ephesians 4:28 WEB) Acts 20:35 - With man, we are more blessed to give than to receive. “In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring you ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”” (Acts 20:35 WEB) 1 John 3:16 - The Law says “do not murder”, but Grace teaches us to lay down our lives for the brethren. Grace supersedes the moral requirements of the Law. “By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.” (1 John 3:16 WEB) Colossians 4:6 - The Law says “Do not lie”, but Grace makes us speak gracious words, seasoned with salt. The Holy Spirit is grieved when we don’t speak words of Grace. Even though Gideon was hiding in the threshing floor, God still called him a valiant man. This is extending undeserved favor. “Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.” (Colossians 4:6 WEB) Ephesians 5:25 - The Law says “You shall not commit adultery”, but Grace teaches and empowers you to love your wife just as Christ loved the church. If you are on bad terms with your wife, just focus on Jesus and see Him loving you. “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;” (Ephesians 5:25 WEB) Romans 7:4-6 - We are not under the covenant of the Law, but under the covenant of Grace. Jesus supersedes the standard of the Law, and yet He empowers us to live righteously. The Law will not bend to help you become righteous or live righteously. “Therefore, my brothers, you also were made dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you would be joined to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might produce fruit to God. For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were through the law, worked in our members to bring out fruit to death. But now we have been discharged from the law, having died to that in which we were held; so that we serve in newness of the spirit, and not in oldness of the letter.” (Romans 7:4-6 WEB) Sudio Elva Review and Giveaway (Wireless Earphones with IPX5 Neckband and Bluetooth Flight Adaptor)3/9/2020 Sudio Elva Review and Giveaway (Wireless Earphones with IPX5 Neckband and Bluetooth Flight Adaptor)I’m so excited to receive Sudio Elva which is a different type of wireless earphones from Sudio Tolv, Fem and Ett which I have been using, |
