31 December 2017 - New Mindset for the New Year - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - Pastor Mark NgOur heart is not made to be satisfied by the things of this world. Joke by Pastor Mark Ng: God made the heavens and the earth and everything else is made in China. We always need to draw near to Jesus and He will give us the rest that we need. Under the Law, and the sacrificial sheep has to be a firstborn because God wants to give us the Firstborn Blessing. It has to be without blemish because God wants to give us righteousness. The person bringing the offering had to place his hands on the sheep because God wants us to touch Jesus. When we touch Jesus, we touch eternity and experience a rest. Jesus was judged for all our sins and we can expect good to happen to us because we have received Jesus’ righteousness. We can be restful because of what Jesus has done for us. II Corinthians 5:21 - God’s power is not in fasting or in prayer. It is in the gospel. The gospel is the revelation of the righteousness of God imputed to us. “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (II Corinthians 5:21 NKJV) Proverbs 4:20-23 - Everything is from the inside out. It all begins in the heart. When you go after money, it always flies away. Guard your heart - your heart is like a projector: whatever is inside will be manifested outside. We are always meditating day and night. But what are you meditating on? We need to meditate on God’s word day and night and everything we do will prosper. “My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:20-23 NKJV) The gospel is that we all fail but God still loves us. Life is like the waves of the sea - sometimes it goes up, sometimes it comes down. We need to fix our eyes on Jesus and we’ll be able to walk above the waves.

24 December 2017 - The Greatest Gift of All - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Christmas Service 2017 - Pastor Lawrence Lim Sermon Notes Christmas Sermon 2017“Santa Claus is Coming to Town” is written by a parent. It is used to threaten a child that if they don’t behave, they will not receive any Christmas presents from the mythical figure Santa Claus. Usually the cost of a Christmas gift is directly proportional to our love for the person. The greater the love, the greater the gift. Jesus is everything to us. Luke 2:10-11 - Jesus’ job is to save. His name means “Yahweh Saves”. “Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:13-14 NKJV) Matthew 1:20-21 - Jesus didn’t come to judge us for our sins. He came to save us from our sins. “But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”” (Matthew 1:20-21 NKJV) Luke 2:14 - There is peace on earth because sinful man finally has peace with God and we can have peace in our lives because God takes care of all our needs. ““Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”” (Luke 2:14 NKJV) 17 December 2017 - Live at Lakewood Church: The Secret to a Quality Life - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation ChurchJesus is not here just to be a Spectator in your life. He is here to meet your needs. We serve God because we have been served by Him. When someone allows Jesus to serve him, Jesus pours forth His goodness. If we don’t allow Jesus to serve us, we cannot flow with Him. It is not wrong to serve God, but if the heart is full of troubles and worries while serving, then it’s because that person has not been served by God. Martha was full of complaints whereas Mary allowed Jesus to serve her. How glad Jesus was to find someone that was willing to be served! The Christian life begins with you sitting down, resting in what has been done. We are rich because of the cross. Now that you are rich, act like it. Sow bountifully. Tithe to show that God is the source of your finances. You don’t have to tithe - you get to tithe. God never plays catch-up. What God does is in the invisible realm and it will manifest physically. What is of the flesh manifests quickly but is not comparable to what God does. Ishmael is of the flesh and he arrived first, but Isaac who is born of grace is better even though he took longer to be conceived. The devil always plays catch-up to what God is doing. If you can’t tell what God is doing, see what the devil is doing in your life, reverse it, and you’ll know what God is doing. Example: If the devil has placed sickness in your body, it’s because God has released health in your life. The people of the world only see what the devil is doing, but we need to see what God is doing behind the scenes. Don’t pray for God to move against what the devil is doing. We need to pray to see what God has done and declare it! Matthew 6:25 - The secret to a quality life and a healthy body is letting go of our worries. ““Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?” (Matthew 6:25 NKJV) This Christmas Day, you have 5 Perfect Reasons to Celebrate and be Thankful (Based on John 3:16)13/12/2017 This Christmas Day, you have 5 Perfect Reasons to Celebrate and be Thankful (Based on John 3:16)P.S. Mae's outfit was chosen before I received the revelation that Santa Claus is so diabolical that he represents Satan himself. Read my newer blog post that interestingly reveals how Santa Claus stole the true meaning of Christmas. Blessed Christmas to you! Let’s all get on the same page: Jesus is the reason for the season. I love that Christmas reminds everyone about Jesus and songs about Jesus are even played in malls - it’s amazing! How is your Christmas season going? With this post, I want to remind you that you have lots of reasons to celebrate and be thankful this Christmas! “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 NKJV) The verse above is quoted so often and I believe there’s a reason for that - it gives people so much hope. Everyone wants to live forever and to some extent, everyone has a fear of themselves or their loved ones dying, whether it be in the form of injury, sickness, aging, etc. There is so much joy to be found in John 3:16, let me share some of the nuggets with you: 10 December 2017 - Right Believing is the Secret to Overcoming Sin - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - Pastor Lawrence Lim Sermon Notes OnlineWe bring great delight to our Heavenly Father. Do you have 'Pike Syndrome'? Quoted from Integrity Works Coaching: "The pike is a large fish that survives by eating smaller fish. An experiment was conducted years ago where the pike was placed in a large fish tank. Then several smaller fish were introduced into the tank, but separated from the pike by keeping them within in a large, bottomless, glass jar. The jar was submerged to the bottom of the tank, closing them off completely from the pike. Of course, the pike didn’t know this and immediately struck at the minnows. In fact, the pike hit the glass over and over until, frustrated and “conditioned”, it settled at the bottom, right next to the minnows. After a while, the jar was lifted, and the minnows swam all around the pike and throughout the large tank. And yet, the pike remained motionless. Indeed, the pike never tried again and died in that tank with its main source of food and survival right in front of it!" Have you been conditioned to wrongly believe a certain way about God? Luke 6:45 - Your life is a reflection of what you see and believe in your heart. When you change what you see with your spiritual eyes, your external life will also change. That’s why right believing will lead to right living. “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” (Luke 6:45 NKJV) Proverbs 4:20-23 - Keep visual images of God’s word in your heart. What do you believe about yourself and about God? What you believe will affect your life and your circumstances. Knowing and believing in the truth will set you free. “My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:20-23 NKJV) Revelation 12:9-11 - Satan is actually afraid of you, not because of you but because of who is in you. You are the child of the Most High God. You have the power to trample over the power of the enemy because of Christ in you. Every condemning thought in you is not from the Holy Spirit, it’s from the devil. The devil is the accuser of the brethren. The Holy Spirit convicts you of your righteousness, that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Revelation 12:9-11 NKJV) 5 Important Questions to Ask When Choosing a Diaper for your Little One and Why We Prefer Huggies Platinum Pants!
(This is an Advertorial brought to you by Huggies.) Choosing a diaper for our 22 month old daughter Maeleth has been a crucial decision for us ever since she was born. We have noticed that a good choice leads to her being happy, while an unsuitable choice can cause her to be cranky. Additionally, it can mean either more rest time for us, or lack of sleep for everyone and more cleaning up due to dreaded unexpected leakages. Furthermore, a suitable choice helps Mae to have healthy skin, whereas an unsuitable choice has caused her to have a nappy area full of terrible diaper rash before! When we are choosing a diaper for Mae, the 5 important questions below are what we ask to help us decide: 1) Is it comfortable to wear? 2) Does it help to prevent leakage of pee and poo? 3) Is it easy to tell when it’s time for a diaper change? 4) Does it lower the risk of getting diaper rash? 5) Can it last through the night? After asking ourselves these 5 important questions, we did some research and based on our past experience with using different diapers for Mae, we decided that Huggies is still our preferred diaper brand. No matter what diaper brands we try, we always find ourselves coming back to Huggies, kind of like a comfortable safety net! Here’s why we feel that Huggies Platinum Pants in particular gets 5 resounding “yes” answers to the 5 important questions above! Huggies Platinum Pants are suitable for children with weights ranging from 8 kg (17 lbs) all the way to over 17 kg (37 lbs) - there are 4 different sizes (M, L, XL, and XXL) to fit little ones at different stages of growth. Blog Income Report: How I Earned US$4124.14 from Blogging Last Month and How 2018 can be a Profitable New Year for youHi everyone! It’s almost the end of an awesome year. Can’t believe time flew by so quickly in 2017! This year has been an exciting year for our blog which is hosted on the website building platform called Weebly. The page views on the blog has increased tremendously: I remember this time last year we were getting around 50,000 pageviews a month and now we are getting more than 200,000 page views per month! The increased traffic has led to higher earning potential on the blog and we are thankful for the blessings. Now that we have a daughter, household expenses are up and the extra blogging income certainly helps to meet those needs. I've never posted an income report blog post before but I feel led to do this because I want to encourage our readers that it's possible to earn some side online income from the fun activity of blogging. Here is the breakdown of our blogging income in November 2017: Sponsored Posts: US$3925.22 Affiliate Programs: US$19.46 Patreon: US$179.46 Total: US$4124.14 (In case you're wondering, yes the income is taxable and yes I will remember to declare my income to the tax authorities in Singapore. Read Blogger Income Tax in Singapore and Proper Disclosure of Sponsored Posts to learn more.) The sponsored posts consist different platforms like advertorials on this blog, on Instagram and on Facebook. However since most of our Instagram and Facebook followers came from the blog, I would say that this income came primarily because of the blog. Affiliate programs include a collaboration with a local kids products brand and with Amazon Affiliates. All Amazon affiliate links were posted on this blog and no where else. Patreon is a platform for fans/readers/followers to become patrons to financially bless/support content creators (like us) on a monthly or project basis in exchange for exclusive rewards that they can’t get anywhere else. You know how people always say that an artist is doomed to struggle in life and very few people can make it big? Now with Patreon, it provides a way for artists and content creators to focus on creating awesome stuff without having to worry about where money is going to come from. It allows people who love their content to bless them financially so that they can do what they do best: create art. If you're a fellow creator, I highly recommend that you start your own Patreon page. We are thankful for the kind and generous readers of this blog who have become our patrons on Patreon. They support us because they love the sermon notes that I independently compile, and they can get all my sermon notes in a downloadable, printable eBook format which is awesome. I still love reading books and studying stuff with actual pages. Nothing beats the feeling of flipping a page! I recommend starting your own blog on WeeblyUltimately all the above mentioned blogging income is a result of having a blog in the first place. I really love blogging because it provides an outlet where I can share my thoughts, what I have learnt, and it’s fun to engage with readers like you. Weebly is an amazing platform to start a blog because it’s so user-friendly. We have been “Weebly Pro” users for 6 years and counting. I love how it’s mostly drag-and-drop without the complex coding knowledge that’s required on some other web hosting platforms. Anyone can start a blog easily on Weebly and their website traffic analytics are very helpful to see how our blog is growing, where the readers are coming from and which posts are performing well. The pricing is also very reasonable. It doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to start a blog on Weebly and it’s probably on of the most affordable ways to start an online business on the side if you want to increase household income. Just subscribing to the “Pro” level which is only US$12 monthly is enough for most users already. You also get a free domain (your own unique website URL) worth US$20 when you subscribe to it. When I started my blog, I had no idea that you could earn income from doing it, but now I’m thankful that I started back then. You can make 2018 a great new year for you by starting your own blog on Weebly. It’s going to be a fun new journey which you will probably enjoy and it can grow to become profitable. I know a blogger who earns more than US$100,000 a month from blogging and I just took and completed her "Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing" course to learn how she does it. If you took the step of faith to start your own blog on Weebly, or enroll in the course to learn how to succeed at affiliate marketing, let me know in the comments below or by dropping me a mail via the contact form on the homepage. I’d love to be a blessing to you by sending you all my sermon notes eBooks as a gift - just in time for Christmas too! Many Blessings, Milton Goh 3 December 2017 - Get What you Want through the Power of Imagination in your Heart - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineMary carried eternity in her arms. But at that time He was confined within time. There are people who say that Jesus wasn’t born on December 25, and most likely He was born around the time of the Feast of Tabernacles. But still, it’s alright to celebrate Christmas, as long as you remember that it’s about God sending His Son Jesus. It’s not about Santa Claus, it’s about Jesus Christ. Proverbs 4:20-23 - God’s word is not health to the world out there. It’s to all who find them. God’s word is health to ALL your flesh! Life and health are produced out of your heart. So are sickness and disease. Long before sickness manifests outwardly, it already existed in your heart. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things. It’s out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks. The heart is not your spirit. The Greek word for spirit is “pneuma” whereas the Greek word for heart is “cardia”. It’s not the same. Your heart is right at the center where your spirit and soul meet. It’s more important to understand how it works rather than where it is. God has put His name in your heart. If you dissect a heart, the cross-section is shaped like the Hebrew letter “shin” which looks like a tilted “W”. Your heart is the key to experiencing life and health. “My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:20-23 NKJV) Matthew 28:20 - The word “always” should be more precisely translated as “all the days”. The Lord says He is with us all the days of our life. “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” (Matthew 28:20 NKJV) When you are conscious of the Lord, you will be afraid of nothing. When you lose sight of the Lord, you may even despair of your life. When the Prophet Elijah when conscious that the Lord was with him, he could courageously stand in King Ahab’s court with Jezebel right there. When he lost sight of the Lord and became more conscious of Jezebel’s threats upon his life, he became fearful and fled from her. |
