Do you have 'Pike Syndrome'? Quoted from Integrity Works Coaching:
"The pike is a large fish that survives by eating smaller fish. An experiment was conducted years ago where the pike was placed in a large fish tank. Then several smaller fish were introduced into the tank, but separated from the pike by keeping them within in a large, bottomless, glass jar. The jar was submerged to the bottom of the tank, closing them off completely from the pike. Of course, the pike didn’t know this and immediately struck at the minnows. In fact, the pike hit the glass over and over until, frustrated and “conditioned”, it settled at the bottom, right next to the minnows. After a while, the jar was lifted, and the minnows swam all around the pike and throughout the large tank. And yet, the pike remained motionless. Indeed, the pike never tried again and died in that tank with its main source of food and survival right in front of it!"
Have you been conditioned to wrongly believe a certain way about God?

Luke 6:45 - Your life is a reflection of what you see and believe in your heart.
When you change what you see with your spiritual eyes, your external life will also change.
That’s why right believing will lead to right living.

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.” (Luke 6:45 NKJV)

Proverbs 4:20-23 - Keep visual images of God’s word in your heart.
What do you believe about yourself and about God? What you believe will affect your life and your circumstances.
Knowing and believing in the truth will set you free.

“My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:20-23 NKJV)

Revelation 12:9-11 - Satan is actually afraid of you, not because of you but because of who is in you.
You are the child of the Most High God. You have the power to trample over the power of the enemy because of Christ in you.
Every condemning thought in you is not from the Holy Spirit, it’s from the devil. The devil is the accuser of the brethren.
The Holy Spirit convicts you of your righteousness, that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Revelation 12:9-11 NKJV)

Look to Jesus as your righteousness and you will overcome sin

I John 3:20-22 - Feeling sorry for your sin isn’t enough.
Turn to God and look to the cross. You can only overcome the devil’s accusations that way.
We cannot pay for our sins but Jesus has already paid for all of our sins.
God’s commandments under grace is that we believe in Jesus.

“For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.” (I John 3:20-22 NKJV)

I Corinthians 15:34 - When we realize and believe who we truly are, seeing ourselves as the righteousness of God in Christ, we will overcome sin.

“Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.” (I Corinthians 15:34 NKJV)

II Peter 1:5-9 - If you lack all these qualities it’s because you have forgotten that you have been forgiven of all your sins.
Knowing that you have been forgiven is the first step to progressive sanctification.
Those who are forgiven much will love much.

“But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.” (II Peter 1:5-9 NKJV)

Right believing is to know that you are holy in Christ and then you will overcome sin

I Corinthians 6:19-20 - The believers in Corinth were still sleeping with the temple prostitutes even after they became Christians. Paul did not condemn them, but instead reminded them of their identity in Christ.
The Holy Spirit doesn’t leave you when you sin. He convicts you of your righteousness to get you out of that sin. You are still the righteousness of God in Christ!
You don’t overcome sin to become holy. You can only be holy through Jesus’ blood.
When you know that you have been made holy, you will overcome sin.

“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (I Corinthians 6:19-20 NKJV)

Ephesians 1:3-7 - God didn’t hold back when we blessed us.
We are already blessed with every spiritual blessing!
Every physical blessing starts as a spiritual blessing.
We are specially chosen by God.
Dare to say that you are holy, blameless and loved because you are a child of God in Christ Jesus.
The word “accepted” means that we are highly favored.
The word “have” is in the continuous present tense which means that we keep continuing to have forgiveness of sins.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:3-7 NKJV)

Ephesians 2:1-10 - God is not just merciful to us but He loves us with a great love.
God’s grace towards us will continue for all eternity - you have a glorious future ahead of you.
You think you’ve seen grace? There’s much more to come!

“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:1-10 NKJV)
