21 Feb 2021 - Your Provision is in the Vision - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPastor Joseph Prince taught that your vision is being enlarged before actually walking in the reality of what you see in your heart. A hazon vision trains you in the spirit before you walk in the physical reality. In this message, you will discover how your provision is in the vision! Praise and Worship Songs Performed:
A vision is for the future. Hebrews 11:1-3 - Faith is the currency of God’s kingdom. You give God your faith and you will receive the tangible effects of blessing. You are not creating things out of nothing when you use your faith. You are receiving what is already there. “Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, proof of things not seen. For by this, the elders obtained testimony. By faith, we understand that the universe has been framed by the word of God, so that what is seen has not been made out of things which are visible.” (Hebrews 11:1-3 WEB) 2 Corinthians 4:18 - Our temporal bodies received life when God breathed into Adam and made him a living soul. The eternal created the temporal. “while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18 WEB) Romans 3:23 - Heaven and Hell are real. The immortal human spirit must be housed somewhere—either in Heaven or Hell. Thankfully, Jesus provided a way for us to be saved from our sins. “for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23 WEB) Luke 24:30-31 - Adam had the choice whether to open his eyes through the tree of life or the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The two disciples walking with Jesus on the road to Emmaus is a parallel with Yahweh God walking with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Instead of their eyes being opened to see their nakedness, the two disciples knew Jesus. “When he had sat down at the table with them, he took the bread and gave thanks. Breaking it, he gave to them. Their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished out of their sight.” (Luke 24:30-31 WEB) Isaiah 1:1 - “Hazon” (translated as “vision”) is a noun. “Saw” is “chazah” which is the verb. The word chazah also has the meaning of “provide”. In your vision from God is the provision. “The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.” (Isaiah 1:1 WEB) Exodus 18:21 - The word “provide” in this verse is also chazah. “Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men which fear God: men of truth, hating unjust gain; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.” (Exodus 18:21 WEB) Romans 8:2 - The law of the Spirit of life supersedes the law of sin and death. We operate based on the higher law. “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.” (Romans 8:2 WEB)

14 Feb 2021 - What Do you Believe? - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Mark Ng Sermon Notes14/2/2021 14 Feb 2021 - What Do you Believe? - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Mark Ng Sermon NotesPastor Mark Ng shared how to access the power of the Gospel, and showed us revelations about God and Jesus Christ from ancient Chinese written characters. Praise and Worship Songs Performed: 1. 恭喜恭喜 Blessings to You 2. Open the Eyes of My Heart - Paul Baloche 3. The Sweetest Name of All - Tom Coomes 4. Refuge - New Creation Worship The Chinese have a lot of superstitions that they observe during Chinese New Year in order to try and secure a blessed year ahead for themselves. It’s not about what we do outwardly but what we believe in our hearts that cause us to receive blessings. Romans 1:16 - The Gospel is about what you believe in your heart. It is about God sending His Son to die on the cross so that we could be forgiven of our sins and be made the righteousness of God in Christ. “For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.” (Romans 1:16 WEB) 1 John 4:15-16 - It is important to live life loved. Know that Abba God loves you. Trust that God is working all things together for your good. “Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God. We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.” (1 John 4:15-16 WEB) 1 Peter 3:10 - When your heart is filled with Jesus and His love for you, you will speak good things without even trying to abstain from speaking evil. “For, “He who would love life, and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.” (1 Peter 3:10 WEB) When you believe right, you will live right. 7 Feb 2021 - One Thing to Prosper in All Things - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPastor Joseph Prince taught that God’s plan to prosper you in all things is very simple. Jesus has done the difficult part, so your one part is simple: give attention to meditating on His word. There are many distractions that the enemy uses to draw us away in different directions. He wants to prevent us from receiving the numerous benefits of this powerful activity. Meditate on God's word and you shall be exercising yourself towards godliness which is great gain to you in this life, and in eternity to come! Praise and Worship Songs Performed: 1. Love on the Line - Hillsong Music 2. I Stand in Worship - New Creation Worship 3. You Alone - Don Harris Psalm 1:3 - There is one thing you can do that will produce success and prosperity in every area of your life. It is a simple thing: meditating on God’s word. When you are generous, it will also cause all the work of your hands to be blessed. “He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.” (Psalms 1:3 WEB) Matthew 6:33 - If you want to pursue something in life, seek God’s kingdom as the first priority. God’s way is simple—one thing that causes you to have all things given to you. God is not against you having money. Lots of money is needed for furthering the Gospel in these last days. But He is against money having you. “But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33 WEB) 1 Timothy 6:6 - When you exercise yourself towards godliness, it will be great gain to you. “But godliness with contentment is great gain.” (1 Timothy 6:6 WEB) 1 Timothy 4:7-9 - Bodily exercise is good, but only has some benefits (such as fitness). Exercising yourself towards godliness is profitable for all things in your life. “But refuse profane and old wives’ fables. Exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now, and of that which is to come. This saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance.” (1 Timothy 4:7-9 WEB) 3 John 1:2 - The first thing God wants for us is soul prosperity. The words “even as” means in “exact proportion to”. The more you prosper in your soul, the more you will prosper outwardly in all things and in your health. The apostle John will not pray something that is against God’s will. Gaius, the one that John is praying for, was already prospering in his soul. He was walking in the truth. Pray for you and your loved ones to prosper in all things and be healthy. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.” (3 John 1:2 WEB) 1 Timothy 3:16 - The Greek word for “godliness”, “eusebeia”, has the literal meaning of “good worship”. “Eu” means good or well, and “sebomai” is “worship, to pay homage, or venerate”. Godliness is not a work but something you exercise yourself unto. The verse below is about Jesus. When you are engaged with Jesus and the redemptive truths of the Gospel, that is exercising yourself unto godliness. “Without controversy, the mystery of godliness is great: God was revealed in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, and received up in glory.” (1 Timothy 3:16 WEB) 1 Timothy 4:13-15 - Give attention to reading and meditating on God’s word. Then, your profiting will be visible to all people and in all things. “Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.” (I Timothy 4:13-15 NKJV) 1 Timothy 4:16 - When you meditate on God’s word, you will be saved from troubles, from diseases, from poverty, etc. This “save” in the passage is not talking about salvation from Hell since it is addressed to Timothy—a believer who is already saved. “Pay attention to yourself, and to your teaching. Continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.” (1 Timothy 4:16 WEB) |
