5 Life Lessons and Moral Value in "Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar's Revenge" Disney Movie (Dead Men Tell No Tales)Leading Cast: Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow Orlando Bloom as Will Turner Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth Geoffrey Rush as Hector Barbossa Brenton Thwaites as Henry Turner Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Swann 1) Most people will abandon you if you have no more use to them, especially if you're poor and left with nothing. When Jack Sparrow was down on his 'luck' and had no ship or money, his crew abandoned him, leaving him completely alone. Even Master Gibbs, his long-time trusted crew member left him. The crew only came back to save Jack from execution because they were paid by Henry Turner to do so. This brings to mind a verse from the Book of Proverbs: "All the brothers of a poor man hate him; How much more do his friends abandon him! He pursues them with words, but they are gone." (Proverbs 19:7 NASB)

If you attempt to live right but have wrong believing, you can't do it. If you are experiencing toxic emotions, it shows that there is wrong believing somewhere. Our beliefs determine our thoughts, our thoughts determine our emotions and our emotions determine our actions. It doesn't take the anointing to preach the Law. It takes the Holy Spirit's anointing to preach grace. John 3 - About Nicodemus, the "master of Israel". Jesus talked to Nicodemus like a theologian, and yet He told Nicodemus that he needed to be born again. John 4 - About the sinner woman. Jesus never told her that she needed to be born again. He used natural illustrations to talk to her. Jesus revealed Himself as the Messiah to the woman. You will never know that you are loved until the person knows everything about you and still says "I love you". Christianity is not about behavior modification. It's about heart transformation. We are saved and justified without works, but by faith. The Law presupposes man's strength. God knew that man cannot keep the Law. The Law is all about "you shall not". The New Covenant of grace is all about "I will" - it's about who God is and what He will do. God dealt with Israel by grace when He brought them out from Egypt. When Israel was given the Law, they immediately broke the first commandment - they made and worshipped the golden calf. The Law caused man to boast in his own strength and it led to sin. 21 May 2017 - His Chastening Brings You Higher - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineOne word from God can change your life forever. Even if you forget God's word, it will still work in you if you had received it. If you're still anxious, worried or fearful about a certain area in your life, that area is still in darkness. That means that God's word for that area of your life has not yet dropped into your heart. It means that revelation for that area is lacking. The revelation has to drop from our heads into our hearts. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. The purpose for receiving more of God's word is for us to be set free from areas that we are fearful, worried or anxious about. It is also to humble us. If we treat others badly despite knowing God's word, it means that we're just accumulating knowledge. We receive more of God's word also to know the Lord better through revelation. Luke 13:23-25 - Jesus answered the question in this manner to say this: make sure that you're in. There's no point talking about it if you're not in it. “Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And He said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’” (Luke 13:23-25 NKJV) 14 May 2017 - Live Victoriously by the Present Truth - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineThere are consequences to our actions in this life - If you choose to touch fire, you choose to be burnt. God cannot change the result of your choice because He has given you the gift of free choice. John 11:35 - This is the shortest verse in the Bible. Lazarus died and Jesus was going to raise him from the dead. Why did Jesus weep even though He knew that He would raise Lazarus from the dead? Because Jesus knew that God's love plan and dream was for man to live life and enjoy it, and not to die. “Jesus wept.” (John 11:35 NKJV) Why did God put the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden? It was to make a choice available to Adam: to obey God or sin against Him. If there is no choice, then the gift of free choice is just a farce. There must be 99% good and 1% evil in order for free choice to be real. There are more prophecies about Jesus' Second Coming than His First Coming. The drama that happened in the world's history is because of the spiritual battle between God and Satan. Why does Satan hate the Jews so much? Because God said that the Promised Seed (The Messiah) would come through the Jews' lineage. Why is the devil still hating the Jews today and why is he trying to drive the Jews out of the Promised Land? The devil instigated Cain to kill Abel, thinking that the Messiah would come through Abel's lineage. That shows that the devil is not all-knowing. Only God is. Check out some photos we took of our little 15 months old princess and her Magical Unicorn Cake: 7 May 2017 - The Lord Saves Us Everyday - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineThe deeper root of stress is fear. That's the deepest that the world can go. Only the word of God can go deeper - the deeper root of fear is condemnation. God sought out man. The Good Shepherd is the One who seeks the lost sheep. We use the term "I found the Lord" but actually it is the Lord Who found us. I Samuel 13:19 - At this point in time, Israel was subjugated by its enemies, the Philistines. The devil is afraid that we would use the word of God against him. “Now there was no blacksmith to be found throughout all the land of Israel, for the Philistines said, “Lest the Hebrews make swords or spears.”” (I Samuel 13:19 NKJV) Ephesians 6:17 - God's word is a sword that cuts away bondages in our lives. During the temptation in the wilderness, our Lord Jesus gave us a pattern of how to fight against the devil: by using the written word of God - "It is written...". Jesus didn't quote the spoken word of God (The Heavenly Father had just spoken to and affirmed Jesus at the River Jordan, saying that He is the beloved Son in Whom The Father is well-pleased). He quoted the written word of God against the devil's temptations. “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;”(Ephesians 6:17 NKJV) Matthew 6:34 - Jesus said don't worry about tomorrow. Don't worry about tomorrow and miss out on what God is saying to you today. The best way is to live in the moment. You won't live in fear and worry because these two have got to do with the future. Condemnation and regret has got to do with the past. God gave the children of Israel manna in the wilderness one day at a time. If they kept the manna until the next day, it would become rotten and breed worms. God's grace is given to us on a day-by-day basis. “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” (Matthew 6:34 NKJV) 5 Life Lessons and Moral Value in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" MovieLeading Cast: Chris Pratt as Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord) Vin Diesel as Groot Zoe Saldana as Gamora Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer Bradley Cooper as Rocket Karen Gillian as Nebula Michael Rooker as Yondu Kurt Russell as Ego the Living Planet 1) Happiness comes when you value love more than power. When Peter Quill learnt from his biological father "Ego the Living Planet" that he was a Celestial - immortal as long as the light continued to shine on planet Ego, he was excited and fantasized about all the weird and wonderful things he would use his powers to create.
