26 December 2021 - Praise Our Good God - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence Lim26/12/2021 26 December 2021 - Praise Our Good God - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence LimNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lawrence Lim taught about a unique phrase used to praise the Lord. Every time Israel used this phrase, good things happened for them and they were strengthened. Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. How Great Is Our God - Michael W. Smith 2. You Alone I Praise - New Creation Worship 3. Blessed Assurance - Fanny Jane Crosby Prophetic word: You will only see an increase of favor, provision, health, etc. in your life. God is a God of increase. Your path will shine brighter and brighter in Jesus’ name. Psalm 33:1 - You look especially beautiful to God when you praise. “Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful.” (Psalms 33:1 NKJV) Psalm 147:1 - Your praises are pleasant to God. “Praise Yah, for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to praise him.” (Psalms 147:1 WEB) Matthew 21:12-16 - When the house of God (the church) is a house of prayer, healing miracles will happen. Prayer does not make you fit for the greater work—prayer is the greater work. The chief priests and scribes were envious because the children were declaring that Jesus is the Messiah. “Jesus entered into the temple of God, and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers’ tables and the seats of those who sold the doves. He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a den of robbers!” The blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them. But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children who were crying in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the son of David!” they were indignant, and said to him, “Do you hear what these are saying?” Jesus said to them, “Yes. Did you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of babes and nursing babies you have perfected praise?’”” (Matthew 21:12-16 WEB) Psalm 8:2 - This is the verse that Jesus quoted from. However, here it says “established strength” instead of “perfected praise”. Praise causes you to be strengthened. Whatever your challenge may be, just praise the Lord. Something good happens when you praise the Lord. When you praise Him, you will silence the enemy and the avenger. “From the lips of babes and infants you have established strength, because of your adversaries, that you might silence the enemy and the avenger.” (Psalms 8:2 WEB)

19 December 2021 - Delivered From Fire and Flood - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lim Lian NeoNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lian shared a message of encouragement for those who are going through severe troubles that feel like fires and floods. You will be delivered out into a place of great abundance and rich fulfillment. Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. The First Noel 2. What Child Is This 3. King of Kings - Hillsong Music Psalm 66:12 - No matter what you went through this year, It is God who will bring us out to a place of great abundance and rich fulfillment. We will not just cope, but confidently hope in God’s deliverance. “You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, but you brought us to the place of abundance.” (Psalms 66:12 WEB) Daniel 3:17-18 - Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego found themselves thrown into a fiery furnace. They made a faith confession and were bound hand and foot, thrown into a seven-times-hotter fire. “If it happens, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods, nor worship the golden image which you have set up.” (Daniel 3:17-18 WEB) Daniel 3:24-25 - Jesus will be with you in the fire. “Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste: he spoke and said to his counselors, Didn’t we cast three men bound into the middle of the fire? They answered the king, True, O king. He answered, Look, I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the fire, and they are unharmed; and the aspect of the fourth is like a son of the gods.” (Daniel 3:24-25 WEB) John 16:33 - A blessed life is not free from troubles. Yet, Jesus will be with us in the fire. “I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”” (John 16:33 WEB) Matthew 6:13 - We should not be praying to go through fire and flood because the Lord told us to pray that we will be delivered from evil and temptation. Even if God did not deliver you from the fire, He will deliver you while you are in the fire. “Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.’” (Matthew 6:13 WEB) Daniel 3:27,30 - God will deliver you in the fire and promote you. “The satraps, the deputies, and the governors, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, that the fire had no power on their bodies, nor was the hair of their head singed, neither were their pants changed, nor had the smell of fire passed on them. Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon.” (Daniel 3:27, 30 WEB) 5 December 2021 - Pray In Tongues to Possess your Possessions - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how to possess our possessions in Christ by praying in tongues, thereby means walking in the Spirit. Praying in the spirit is being emphasized for this season! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Come Let Us Adore Him 2. Christ Is Enough - Hillsong Music 3. Trust in the Lord - New Creation Worship Joshua 13:1 - God wants us to possess much more of our possessions in Christ. “Now Joshua was old and well advanced in years. Yahweh said to him, “You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to be possessed.” (Joshua 13:1 WEB) Joshua 1:3-4 - We must possess what God has given to us. When you join all the geographical positions, you will get the shape of a cross. Your possession is found at the cross. The cross of Jesus Christ is the solid foundation for us to receive healing. “I have given you every place that the sole of your foot will tread on, as I told Moses. From the wilderness, and this Lebanon, even to the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your border.” (Joshua 1:3-4 WEB) The things that happened in the Old Testament are shadows, whereas we who are under the New Covenant of Grace have the substance. Isaiah 53:4 - It is as if prophet Isaiah saw that people would have trouble believing in healing. That is why there is the word “surely”—the Holy Spirit is assuring us that healing has been paid for by Jesus. “Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.” (Isaiah 53:4 WEB) 2 Corinthians 8:9 - This is in the context of finances and having all your material needs supplied. “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9 WEB) Genesis 3:19 - Jesus redeemed us from the curse of painful toil that was placed upon mankind in the Garden of Eden. He did this by sweating blood in the Garden of Gethsemane. “By the sweat of your face will you eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”” (Genesis 3:19 WEB) Isaiah 59:19 - Pray in the spirit (in tongues) for at least thirty minutes to one hour every day. Let us use our authority in Christ to pray for our nation. Ask God to let His Spirit make intercession through you. This is what the Lord said to Pastor Prince. Put God’s spiritual words in your mouth. “So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. “The Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” Says the Lord. “As for Me,” says the Lord, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord, “from this time and forevermore.” “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.” (Isaiah 59:19-60:1 NKJV) |
