29 March 2015 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - Speak Words of Edification and Impart GraceIf you want to be a great leader, be the servant of all the people that you lead. God puts you in a place of prominence so that you can serve the masses with the gifts that you have received from Him. Church is a place of worship, not of entertainment, business, etc. Everything rises and falls based on leadership. All fathers are the kings, priests and prophets of their households. Even if they don't say anything, they are still exercising their leadership. The fall of humanity happened because the king, priest and prophet, Adam, did not say anything when Satan was speaking to Eve. He abdicated his place of leadership. Money given to your parents is a gesture of your love. Ephesians 4:29-30 - Keep our mouths from profanities. Profanity means "words that are non-useful". Telling people what they deserve is not imparting grace to them. Edification means "to build up someone". Whatever is edifying imparts grace. Grace means undeserved favor. God gives grace on the solid foundation of the death of His Son, so that He may give grace freely to all believers. We are saved forever, and the Holy Spirit will not leave us. The Holy Spirit and Jesus are one. Grieve is "sulio" in Greek. If your words are giving people what they deserve, you are grieving the Holy Spirit. If your words are full of grace, you are delighting the Holy Spirit. "Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." (Ephesians 4:29-30 NKJV) All Spirit, no Word, you blow up. All Word, no Spirit, you dry up. All Word, all Spirit, you grow up!

The 10 Lethal Mistakes That Beginners Make (And the Solutions for Them!)Update: Hi it's Milton Goh, and I'll be sharing from my 4 years of experience what are the 10 most common and lethal mistakes that beginners tend to make, and how you can avoid them. Firstly, you've got to realise that change of your results can only come from awareness of the mistakes you're making. This blog post is meant to inform you and give you a direction to work towards. I went on 60+ vacations in the last 4 years. I am blessed to have a great team of highly-motivated leaders, and I hope that what I'm about to share will bring you value. 22 March 2015 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - Lifting Holy Hands As Kings in ChristTestimony 1: A lady with a limp due to a condition was scheduled for a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan. Through constantly partaking of the holy communion and believing for her healing, she first experienced partial healing and right now is completely healed without any operations or visiting the orthopedic. Now her legs are so healthy that she can even run for the bus! Testimony 2: A guy who is a cello player had a pain in his shoulder, and during one of the services which Pastor Prince prayed for healing and said that "Someone was being healed of a frozen shoulder". He felt that the word was for him, and experienced a warmth in his shoulder and there was an improvement immediately. A week later, the pain completely disappeared and full motion was restored. He said that his shoulder feels stronger than ever before! 1 Timothy 2:8 - As believers, our hands are holy. Anger problems come from pride. Pride comes from self-occupation when our thoughts are all on ourselves and not on God. Superiority and inferiority complexes both stem from self-occupation. Feeling anger is not sin, but if we act on our anger and sin, that's wrong. "I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting;" (I Timothy 2:8 NKJV) Romans 13:1 - Paul preached this during the rule of the Roman Empire who ruled with an iron fist. We are to submit to the governing authority because all of them are set up by God. "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God." (Romans 13:1 NKJV) Many men have attempted world domination, but they all failed. Only Jesus has a guaranteed everlasting rule over the world. 15 March 2015 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - Pastor Joseph Prince's TBN Israel Tour 2015(Pastor Joseph Prince standing in Yad Hashmona - the Biblical Gardens...) Habakkuk 2:1-4 - Sometimes God speaks to us through inner visions. When preaching the gospel, make it plain, not complicated. God is a God who does things in a simple way yet powerful. When someone reads the vision of God, they will run for Him. Wait for the manifestation of God's promises - it will surely come. If you're proud, you can't live by faith. The more humble you are, the more faith can operate. The more proud you are, the more self-reliant you will be, and you will feel that you don't need faith. If you're being corrected by God, just take your place. Humility and faith go together. "I will stand my watch And set myself on the rampart, And watch to see what He will say to me, And what I will answer when I am corrected. Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith." (Habakkuk 2:1-4 NKJV) (Pastor Joseph Prince standing in Bethsaida...) Matthew 10-12 - The finality of the rejection of Jesus. The letter of Matthews was written to the Jewish people. In Matthew 12, Jesus was rejected in His threefold office of Priest, Prophet and King. Jesus is greater than any priest, greater than Jonah the prophet and greater than Solomon the king. Matthew 4:17 - The "kingdom of heaven" is not same as the "kingdom of God". Jesus has a double-claim to the throne of David through the lineage of both Mary and Joseph. Jesus is the promised Messiah that the Jewish people were looking forward to but the rulers of Israel (Pharisees, scribes, etc) rejected Him. The kingdom of heaven is at hand because Jesus the King was here on earth. "From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”" (Matthew 4:17 NKJV) Matthew 11:20-30 - Jesus did many mighty miracles in Bethsaida, Chorazin and Capernaum but the people rejected Him and did not believe. These cities are in ruins today. Where great grace is given, there is a huge responsibility on people to give the right response. There are degrees of punish in hell and there are degrees of rewards in heaven. We must be like babies in our relationship with God - Babies are trusting. When we read the Bible, we must pray for the Father to reveal Jesus His Son to us. Jesus is offering rest to all who are laboring under the Law. If you learn from Jesus in becoming gentle and lowly, you will find rest for your soul (mind and emotions). Restlessness comes from pride and is eradicated through humility. "Then He began to rebuke the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent: “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. But I say to you that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.” At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”" (Matthew 11:20-30 NKJV) Micah 6:8 - The word "mercy" here means grace, in the context of the New Testament. God wants us to love grace. "He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?" (Micah 6:8 NKJV) 8 February 2015 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - Living With A Bold Assurance of Faith (Part 2)Will of the Father - To remove the first covenant of The Law. Work of the Son - The once-and-for-all offering of Jesus on the cross has forever made us righteous. Witness of the Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit was there when Jesus sacrificed Himself on the cross. He saw our sins punished on Jesus at the cross and testifies that our sins are remembered no more. Believers still sin after they are saved, but our sins don't make us unrighteous again. Hebrews 10:26-31 - Sinning willfully is apostasy. It is rejecting the truth even when seeing the proof (miracles, wonders, Jesus Himself) of the truth in front of your eyes. "For if we go on deliberately and willingly sinning after once acquiring the knowledge of the Truth, there is no longer any sacrifice left to atone for [our] sins [no further offering to which to look forward]. [There is nothing left for us then] but a kind of awful and fearful prospect and expectation of divine judgment and the fury of burning wrath and indignation which will consume those who put themselves in opposition [to God]. [Isa. 26:11.] Any person who has violated and [thus] rejected and set at naught the Law of Moses is put to death without pity or mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. [Deut. 17:2-6.] How much worse (sterner and heavier) punishment do you suppose he will be judged to deserve who has spurned and [thus] trampled underfoot the Son of God, and who has considered the covenant blood by which he was consecrated common and unhallowed, thus profaning it and insulting and outraging the [Holy] Spirit [Who imparts] grace (the unmerited favor and blessing of God)? [Exod. 24:8.] For we know Him Who said, Vengeance is Mine [retribution and the meting out of full justice rest with Me]; I will repay [I will exact the compensation], says the Lord. And again, The Lord will judge and determine and solve and settle the cause and the cases of His people. [Deut. 32:35, 36.] It is a fearful (formidable and terrible) thing to incur the divine penalties and be cast into the hands of the living God!" (Hebrews 10:26-31 AMP) It's not that "Christ has done something and I have to do something" - rest in God's grace. We are as close to God as we can possibly be. Unless you know what you have, you cannot give. Unless you know who you are, you can't behave congruently with your identity. The standing of a person is wrapped up in the standing of the high priest. Our Great High Priest is Jesus Christ. |
