27 March 2022 - Heaven’s Treasury Opened For You - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lim Lian NeoNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lian shared that whatever your need is, the Lord will open a door to the royal treasury in Heaven to supply that need as you gather in the local church—the house of God, gate of Heaven, and fullness of Christ! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Beautiful Savior -Planetshakers 2. Worthy Is The Lamb - Hillsong Worship 3. You Alone I Praise - New Creation Worship 2 Corinthians 3:18 - We are transformed like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly through metamorphosis, from glory to glory. “But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:18 WEB) Psalm 133:1-3 - As we gather as the body of Christ, united in believing in what Jesus did at the cross, mighty things will happen in His name. God’s favor descends upon us as we gather in Jesus’ name, and every need will be abundantly supplied. We will experience the commanded blessing. “See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, that ran down on the beard, even Aaron’s beard; that came down on the edge of his robes; like the dew of Hermon, that comes down on the hills of Zion: for there Yahweh gives the blessing, even life forever more.” (Psalms 133:1-3 WEB) Ephesians 1:22-23 - God has so much for us. The church is the fullness of Christ—you will find the fullness of everything you need in the body of Christ. “He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.” (Ephesians 1:22-23 WEB) Genesis 28:10-17 - Beersheba means “well of oath” and Haran means “parched, dry”. Jacob was in this place because he was fleeing from his brother Esau who wanted to kill him. Today, the house of God is the body of Christ (the church). Jacob must have felt like he lost everything. He was so broken. But the Lord spoke prophetically over his destiny and gave him a fresh hope. When you come to church, the Lord will speak into your life. Just believe it simply. “Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran. He came to a certain place, and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. He took one of the stones of the place, and put it under his head, and lay down in that place to sleep. He dreamed. Behold, a stairway set upon the earth, and its top reached to heaven. Behold, the angels of God ascending and descending on it. Behold, Yahweh stood above it, and said, “I am Yahweh, the God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac. The land whereon you lie, to you will I give it, and to your offspring. Your offspring will be as the dust of the earth, and you will spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. In you and in your offspring will all the families of the earth be blessed. Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken of to you.” Jacob awakened out of his sleep, and he said, “Surely Yahweh is in this place, and I didn’t know it.” He was afraid, and said, “How dreadful is this place! This is none other than God’s house, and this is the gate of heaven.”” (Genesis 28:10-17 WEB) John 1:51 - The body of Christ is the place where angels ascend and descend. “He said to him, “Most certainly, I tell you, hereafter you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”” (John 1:51 WEB) Matthew 18:20 - When we gather in Jesus’ name, the Holy Spirit gathers us unto Jesus. When you have no faith, come to local church and let fellow believers join their faith with yours. “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”” (Matthew 18:20 WEB) The church is the most successful and powerful organization in creation. In it you can find the fullness of Christ.

20 March 2022 - Washed By The Love Of Christ - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence Lim Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lawrence Lim preached about two significant incidents of washing feet in the New Testament. When we see God’s great love revealed, we can also extend love and forgiveness to the people in our lives! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Peace Be Still - The Belonging Co feat. Lauren Daigle 2. Fall Afresh On Me - New Creation Worship 3. You Alone - Don Harris 4. Goodness Of God - Bethel Music Romans 8:37 - We will receive our breakthrough through Christ who loves us. “No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37 WEB) Luke 7:36 - Jesus was gracious even to the Pharisee by accepting the invitation to dine at his house. He honored and loved Simon the Pharisee, despite all the faults and hypocrisies of the Pharisees. “One of the Pharisees invited him to eat with him. He entered into the Pharisee’s house, and sat at the table.” (Luke 7:36 WEB) Luke 7:37-38 - The woman is believed to be a harlot. The flask of oil was very costly, about a year’s worth of wages. The woman ignored all the condemning looks and stares of all the self-righteous people around. She only wanted to focus on the one who loved and forgave her of her sins. The Jews considered the feet dirty because the feet come in contact with filth on the ground. The washing of feet was reserved as the lowest task for the lowliest servant. The woman expressed such extravagant love because she had first received such extravagant love through Jesus Christ. “Behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that he was reclining in the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster jar of ointment. Standing behind at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears, and she wiped them with the hair of her head, kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.” (Luke 7:37-38 WEB) Mark 1:7 - John the Baptist spoke so highly of the Lord Jesus. “He preached, saying, “After me comes he who is mightier than I, the thong of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and loosen.” (Mark 1:7 WEB) Luke 7:39-50 - Simon did not honored Jesus as a guest but the woman honored Jesus exceedingly. The Jews knew that only God can forgive sins. Jesus was implying that He is the God who forgives sins. “Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, “This man, if he were a prophet, would have perceived who and what kind of woman this is who touches him, that she is a sinner.” Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.” He said, “Teacher, say on.” “A certain lender had two debtors. The one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they couldn’t pay, he forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him most?” Simon answered, “He, I suppose, to whom he forgave the most.” He said to him, “You have judged correctly.” Turning to the woman, he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered into your house, and you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head. You gave me no kiss, but she, since the time I came in, has not ceased to kiss my feet. You didn’t anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment. Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” Those who sat at the table with him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”” (Luke 7:39-50 WEB) 13 March 2022 - Four Pillars Of A Thriving Church - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught about the work of the Holy Spirit in the church, and how four important pillars that existed since the church was born empower us to flow with the will of God! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. For My Good - New Creation Worship 2. As The Deer - Martin Nystrom The church of Jesus Christ is God’s idea. When we gather we as a church, the Holy Spirit works with His manifold graces and diverse giftings to edify and minister to all. After the exile to Babylon, Jerusalem never reverted to idolatry again. Sometimes tough times teach us important lessons. Haggai 1:6, 9 - The Jews were suffering from lack because they neglected the house of God. “You have sown much, and bring in little. You eat, but you don’t have enough. You drink, but you aren’t filled with drink. You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm, and he who earns wages earns wages to put them into a bag with holes in it.” “You looked for much, and, behold, it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says Yahweh of Armies, “Because of my house that lies waste, while each of you is busy with his own house.” (Haggai 1:6, 9 WEB) Revelation 11:8-9 - This was impossible in the past such that people mocked it, but now with the Internet and satellite TV, this is made possible. “Their dead bodies will be in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. From among the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations people will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not allow their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.” (Revelation 11:8-9 WEB) 1 Corinthians 10:32 - When God looks down on earth, He only sees these three groups of people: Jew, Gentile, and the church of God. “Give no occasion for stumbling, either to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the assembly of God;” (1 Corinthians 10:32 WEB) Matthew 16:18 - The church is on the offense and making inroads. The gates of Hell are defensive. “I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18 WEB) Matthew 18:20 - Two or three is the smallest plurality. When the Holy Spirit gathers believers together in Jesus’ name, that is the church. “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”” (Matthew 18:20 WEB) 1 Corinthians 12:27 - We are individual members of the body of Christ. “Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.” (1 Corinthians 12:27 WEB) Ephesians 5:30 - Jesus’ glorified body has flesh and bones. “because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.” (Ephesians 5:30 WEB) 1 John 4:17 - Confess that you are one with Jesus. You have healthy flesh and bones just like Him. “In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.” (1 John 4:17 WEB) Colossians 4:14 - Luke is a beloved physician. “Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas greet you.” (Colossians 4:14 WEB) Luke 6:6 - Luke recorded details like this: he pointed out that it was the man’s right hand which was withered. “It also happened on another Sabbath that he entered into the synagogue and taught. There was a man there, and his right hand was withered.” (Luke 6:6 WEB) Luke 1:3 - Theophilus was likely a high-ranking Roman official. “it seemed good to me also, having traced the course of all things accurately from the first, to write to you in order, most excellent Theophilus;” (Luke 1:3 WEB) Acts 1:1 - Luke is also the author of the Book of Acts. The Gospel of Luke is about the thirty plus years of the life of Christ. Book of Acts is an account of the thirty plus years of church life in the body of Christ. “The first book I wrote, Theophilus, concerned all that Jesus began both to do and to teach,” (Acts 1:1 WEB) Luke 1:35 - The Holy Spirit was involved in the conception of Jesus in Mary’s womb. “The angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you will be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35 WEB) Galatians 4:4 - The fullness of the time here is talking about Jesus’ birth. “But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,” (Galatians 4:4 WEB) Acts 2:1-2 - Luke is talking about the birth of the church here. The church is still growing today and it is winning. “Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place. Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.” (Acts 2:1-2 WEB) The way the Lord wants to bring His supply to you is primarily through the church. He wants you to be planted in a local church. Matthew 28:18-19 - When a traffic police lifts up his hand, it is not his own physical strength that stops an incoming truck, but the authority that is backing him. We have God-given authority in the name of Jesus. “Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” (Matthew 28:18-19 WEB) Mark 16:20 - The Gospel of Mark portrays Jesus as strong to labor like an ox. Jesus is depicted as an untiring servant. In the first chapter, it opens with words like “immediately”, “at once”, and “suddenly”, indicating prompt service. “They went out, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen.” (Mark 16:20 WEB) God gave authority to Adam. What He gives He never takes back. Adam lost that authority when he obeyed Satan in sinning. God used a legal channel to reclaim the authority which was taken by Satan. He did this by sending Jesus to die at the cross to pay for all our sins. Acts 8:29 - It was the Holy Spirit who led Philip to meet the Ethiopian royal eunuch and evangelize to him. “The Spirit said to Philip, “Go near, and join yourself to this chariot.”” (Acts 8:29 WEB) Acts 13:2 - The Holy Spirit asked for Paul and Barnabbas to be separated for His purpose. “As they served the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Separate Barnabas and Saul for me, for the work to which I have called them.”” (Acts 13:2 WEB) Acts 16:7 - The Holy Spirit restrains us from making unfruitful choices. He helps us be at the right place at the right time. “When they had come opposite Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit didn’t allow them.” (Acts 16:7 WEB) 2 Thessalonians 2:6 - The Holy Spirit is found in the church. He is the one restraining the worst evil from happening on earth. This will change during the Tribulation after the Rapture happens. “Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.” (2 Thessalonians 2:6 WEB) Matthew 5:13-14 - We have the Holy Spirit who makes us salt and light that purifies and cleanses. ““You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men. You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden.” (Matthew 5:13-14 WEB) The anointing of the Holy Spirit makes things effortlessly easy. It is like oil being added to the hinge of a creaking door. It is a flow that makes things prosper and effortlessly easy. Matthew 24:6 - The end is not yet. The Holy Spirit in us restrains the worst from happening. “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.” (Matthew 24:6 WEB) Acts 2:4 - The Holy Spirit empowered the disciples to speak in tongues. “They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.” (Acts 2:4 WEB) Luke 2:52 - This is the last verse in Luke chapter 2. “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.” (Luke 2:52 WEB) Acts 2:47 - This is the last verse in Acts 2 which is a parallel to Luke 2:52. When God blesses the church, it grows in stature as well. “praising God, and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to the assembly day by day those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:47 WEB) 6 March 2022 - What To Do When The Glory Of Christ Is Attacked - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught that when the four horsemen of the Apocalypse launch attacks against local churches, behold Jesus in all of His aspects and God will arise with power as your Rearguard! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Glory, Honor, Power - Influence Music 2. Wonderful (Grace Made Real) - New Creation Worship 2 Timothy 3:16 - The Scriptures are God-breathed. They have His essence in it, and they speak to us in a living way even today. “Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness,” (2 Timothy 3:16 WEB) The ‘revelations’ that the devil shows will always glorify oneself and never Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:25 - Jesus gave Himself for the church. The church is the many-membered body of Christ, and it is the most successful, powerful organization in creation. “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;” (Ephesians 5:25 WEB) 1 Corinthians 12:10 - God has given us provisions in the body of Christ. The devil has clouded the word “church” such that people think of an old building, organ music, dull and dreary, but nothing can be further from the truth. God has poured out spiritual gifts to the church, and these gifts have never ceased. “and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages.” (1 Corinthians 12:10 WEB) 1 Corinthians 13:9-10 - The complete/perfect has not yet come. We still need these gifts in operation today. “For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with.” (1 Corinthians 13:9-10 WEB) Acts 4:33 - When great grace was upon the early church, they gave witness with great power. Great grace, great power. “With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all.” (Acts 4:33 WEB) |
