5 Life Lessons that I Learnt from "Dracula Untold" (Spoilers Alert!)

5 Life Lessons that I Learnt from "Dracula Untold" (Spoilers Alert!)

1) Never seek a solution from the darkness. If you listen to a fallen one, you will fall too.

Picture
The ancient vampire tempted Vlad to drink his blood out of selfishness - to trick Vlad into taking his curse so that he could be free from his cave prison. Vlad paid a costly price for seeking power using the unholy shortcut.

2) Kingdoms rise and fall, come and pass. No human can rule forever.

Picture
Despite the Turkish empire being so strong and numerous, the Sultan was still a mere mortal. Mortals die, kingdoms end, and a new age begins. No human can claim an eternal rule on this earth.

3) To ensure the success of an empire, its leader must make wise decisions for the greater good of his people, not based on his/her selfish reasons.

Picture
Mirena coaxed Vlad into making the curse permanent on himself just to save their son, resulting in their entire kingdom becoming destroyed, turned into vampires, cursed and corrupted. Their selfish acts of withholding their son from the Turkish Sultan led to the utter destruction of their kingdom.

4) A curse that brings some benefits will always rob you of something more valuable from you. It is never worth the trade.

Picture
Although Vlad gained control of the creatures of the night, enhanced speed, strength, senses and many cool abilities, he ultimately lost his humanity. As a vampire, he is unable to be in the sunlight, he is harmed by silver, and has an insatiable thirst for human blood, endangering all the people he loves. A curse will never lead to happiness, even if in the short-term it seems to resolve a problem.

5) Great leaders are not necessarily developed with age and experience. We must learn to have child-likeness and purity in our intentions.

Picture
Ingeras's bravery was commendable when he willingly offered himself to be taken by the Turks. His selfless actions show that in some aspects, he makes a better leader than his parents. A tender age does not equate to inferiority or inadequacy.

28 September 2014 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - The Law Demands, Grace Supplies!

God still heals today.

The cross is God's instrument of redemption for mankind.

When you boast in your works, God will always give you The Law, and there will always be one thing you lack. The Law was designed to reveal your inadequacy.

The goodness of God leads people to repentance.

Contrast of the rich young ruler in Luke 18 and Zacchaeus in Luke 19 - The Law cannot lead man to repentance, only grace does.

Romans 6:14 - We reign over sin through grace, and not by keeping The Law.

"For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace." (Romans 6:14 NKJV)

1 Corinthians 15:56 - The Law is the strength of sin. Those who preach grace preach freedom from the strength of sin.

"The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law." (I Corinthians 15:56 NKJV)

Poverty is evil. Money is not the root of all evil - the LOVE of money is the root of all evil.

Romans 7:1-13 - Many think that God gave The Law for man to keep. God gave The Law at Mount Sinai, but before that, the Israelites were under grace from Egypt to Sinai. We are cut off from sin when we are in Christ.

"Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law), that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives? For the woman who has a husband is bound by the law to her husband as long as he lives. But if the husband dies, she is released from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband lives, she marries another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from that law, so that she is no adulteress, though she has married another man. Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death. But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter. What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead. I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died. And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me. Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good. Has then what is good become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful." (Romans 7:1-13 NKJV)

A Salvation Prayer to Receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of Your Life!

A Salvation Prayer to Receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of Your Life!

If you have decided to receive Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life, speak the following prayer out and believe in your heart, and it will definitely work for you. You may or may not feel any observable change immediately after praying this, but you will be saved! Congratulations on making the best decision of your life!

"Father in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I confess that I am a sinner, and I repent of my sins and the life that I have lived. I receive your complete forgiveness.

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in the Scriptures that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for your Grace which has saved me from my sins. Therefore Lord Jesus, transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.

Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.

Amen."

21 September 2014 - We Are In God's Third Day - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes

The Church was a mystery that God hid and now it is revealed.

There will be two 'Comings' of Jesus Christ - First, the Rapture, where all believers will be transformed and caught up to meet Jesus in the air.
Then the Second Coming of Jesus Christ will take place 7 years later after the Great Tribulation and Jesus's feet will touch the Mount of Olives and the mountain will split in two. Jesus will slay the Antichrist with the breath of His mouth.

As believers, we are not awaiting death, but are awaiting the coming of The Lord to enrapture us to be with Him forever.

Many people feel heavily invested in the things of this world and don't look forward to the Rapture, but those who love The Lord and what He does for them will fondly look forward to His coming.

All believers will stand before the "Bema Seat" of Christ to give an account of their lives and to receive their appropriate rewards from God.

The unbelievers will go through the Great White Throne Judgement and they will be lost forever and have their wrongdoings stacked up against them. A true believer will never be lost!

We as believers are like the 300 men of Gideon who scoop the water to drink it but are looking around and aware of their surroundings. The world does not control them.

2 Peter 3:3-9 - God already anticipated the words that scoffers will use today because they don't see any signs of Jesus's coming.
But God is delaying Jesus's coming because He is not willing for anyone to perish. This shows His heart of love towards us.

"knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."" (II Peter 3:3-9 NKJV)

There is a hell and it was designed for the devil and his angels, not for man. However when man first sinned, we were destined for hell, but through Jesus's sacrifice at the cross, all believers have complete forgiveness and received His righteousness.

If you honor Christ's sacrifice, come boldly to the throne of grace to receive what you need. We have access to God because of that sacrifice.

Jesus preached more on hell (the place of eternal torment where there is both darkness and fire) than any other preacher. It is because He loves us so much that He wants to save us from that terrible fate.

5 Life Lessons and Moral Value that I Learnt from "The Maze Runner" (Spoilers Ahead!) - The Maze Runner Series

1) Comparatively, very few people have the courage to step out of their comfort zone.

5 Life Lessons and Moral Value that I Learnt from
In "The Maze Runner", only a few of the Gladers (Thomas, Teresa, Newt, Minho) successfully escaped from the simulation, and these people possessed courage and attributes of leadership. Few people readily exhibit these traits! Some people, like Gally, play the role of a 'Dreamstealer' in our lives, who keep trying to keep us in our comfort zone and to not take any risks!

14 September 2014 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Speak Life and See Good Days

* Pastor Prince taught about Gematria in this sermon, which you can find out a brief idea of what it is here.
-----

Roman 5:20-21 - Where sins increased (in terms of number of sins), grace huperperisseuo (overflowing with somemore on top of that).

"Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 5:20, 21 NKJV)

Reckon (take it) that you're dead unto sin once and for all. Jesus was born in the likeness of sinful flesh. He had no sin in Him. He died to the guilt and condemnation of sin, not to the power of sin.

We are dead to condemnation first, before we are empowered to sin no more.

If you are under the Law in any way, you are under its curse unless you are fulfilling all its requirements.

You refuse to accept how bad our sinful flesh is if you still try to keep the Law. The only way to be justfied is through grace.

Romans 10:4-10 - Christ is the end of the Law. What you speak with your mouth will eventually drop into your heart and control you.

"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above ) or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:4-10 NKJV)

My Personal Encounter with Demonic Harassment, Supernatural  Healing & the Goodness of God!

My Personal Encounter with Demonic Harassment, Supernatural  Healing & the Goodness of God!

I'm so happy to see one more of my friends receive the Lord Jesus Christ today as Lord and Savior of his life. Now he can reign in life through having an abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness found in Christ! He was under harassment by multiple demonic spirits for years, and we cast them out just now in Jesus's name, by the power of God. He used to be physically assaulted by them at night in his bed and could occasionally see them with his eyes. These spiritual attacks would peak every year during the middle of the year (between May to July). After the spirits were cast out, they tried to influence both me and another good friend of mine, and we felt a build-up of pain in our chests as well as a feeling of heaviness. This left after rebuking them.

"He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."" (Mark 16:16-18)

That same good friend of mine had a headache just now, and again in Jesus's name, we prayed for immediate healing and the headache dissipated almost immediately. God is willing to heal us of all physical conditions, sicknesses and diseases today because Jesus paid for our right to healing as believers through the stripes that He bore for us.

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)

Those cruel lashes were inflicted on Him who had no sin to purchase blessings (which includes healing) for us who are believers. Supernatural healing is received by us through faith, and we must not doubt, if not we will not receive.

"But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,…" (James 1:6-7)

Faith is:

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1)

Faith increases and comes by:

"So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17)

These two personal testimonies in a single day alone show clearly that there are good and evil forces at work in the world, and that God wants to deliver us from evil spirits, and heal us from our sicknesses.

The spiritual realm is real, active and it affects our daily lives more than we think!

Both good and evil spirits exist. Don't forget that we are three parts: Mind, Body and SPIRIT! Believe what you want to, but I know what I have experienced all these 4 years! So many wonderful testimonies and personal experiences of God's goodness that thankfulness and praise just overflows out of my heart! :)

"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." (Luke 6:45)

Interview with Milton Goh by "Fly With Us Today" on his family vacation to Lijiang and Shangri-La in China!

Re-posted from Winnie Chong's Blog, "Fly With Us Today" -

"This week I managed to catch up with my friend, Milton over coffee, and I had a great time chatting with him on 2 trips he took last month. (Envy!)

I have been to Lijiang once and I miss this beautiful province! So I'm excited to hear his experience there!

1. You seemed to be very excited about your trip to Lijiang, China! What were you expecting to see?

Well, before the trip I never heard of Lijiang before! So what I did for trip preparation was to search for images of the place on Google. Turns out that there are many beautiful images available online! I was expecting to see beautiful scenery in ancient civilisation setting, and I saw exactly that in Lijiang.

2. Lijiang is known for their beautiful mountains and lakes. Did you experience a slice of their lifestyle living in the mountains?

Yes, their lifestyle is very agrarian. There are many farmers there. Other than that, many of them centre their work around the tourism industry, selling merchandise to tourists, and F&B business of course! One thing special about Lijiang is the air there is very fresh because there are no factories in Lijiang to pollute the environment. On top of that, it’s 3000-plus meters above sea level, so the air can be thinner than most tourists are usually comfortable with!

3. I saw your photo taken with the alpaca. There are so many cute cartoons about them and I always thought they look unreal! How are they like, and how is it like touching one?

The brown-coloured alpaca that I had the pleasure to take a photo with is extremely cute! It was smiling in the photo! Their wool is much thicker and feels softer than sheep’s wool – a more premium quality! It’s so fluffy!

4. This trip, you went to Shangri-La too. Was it a long journey from Lijiang?

It was a 3-hour drive from Lijiang. We hired a driver for our entire stay in Lijiang and Shangri-La so it was tough on him to drive for so long. On the way to Shangri-La, we stopped at “Tiger Leaping Gorge” to admire the natural scenery and majestic gorge.

5. How is Shangri-La different from Lijiang based on your experience?

Actually from what I experienced on this trip, Shangri-La’s natural scenery in Potatso National Park is much more beautiful than anything I saw in Lijiang. It reminded me of my dream retirement place: New Zealand! Shangri-La appears less developed than Lijiang. Lijiang has a shopping district that is pretty modern, and it’s pretty cool because it’s right next to the Lijiang Ancient Town which is a stark contrast to the modernity. That was pretty unique.

6. Who would miss out local cuisines in a China trip like this?! In my past trips I got so tired of eating restaurants arranged by tour groups. Not to mention that some meals were repetitive throughout the whole trip. Could you tell us about your food adventure during your trip?

Well, the food in Lijiang is pretty repetitive too, especially since we were there for 7 days... Generally they have a lot of eateries that serve Sichuan-style cuisine, which means lots of their dishes has dry chili added into them, and most eateries serve a nice type of mushroom called "song rong". In Shangri-La, there are hardly any cows, only yaks. So their commonly-served meat in eateries there is yak meat. It tastes like beef, but less-sweet, and it's surprisingly tender! I was totally missing my favourite foods in Singapore! My dad too, and it manifested as a dinner at one of the Hong Kong-style restaurants in the Lijiang shopping districts on 1 of the nights. Unfortunately, their HK dishes don't taste authentic, and it tastes slightly Sichuan-styled too - we just couldn't run away from the same taste! Haha...

7. How long was your trip, and was it too rushed to visit all the places?

We went from 18th August to 24th August. I would say that it didn’t feel rushed at all, since we went free and easy, we had plenty of time to stay longer at the destinations that we loved, and quickly leave if we did not really enjoy a particular tourist attraction. The pace of the trip was great, and it was definitely relaxing and a great recharge from daily life in Singapore.

8. Do you travel together with your family often? How have your travels changed since you started traveling with them?

We used to travel at least once a year, but after we moved houses, the frequency of our vacations lowered. I’m very thankful to my parents because it was my parents’ actions of bringing my brother and I along for vacations all around the world that developed my own love for travel, which led to my career as a full-time vacationer now! I’m truly blessed to have such great parents.

9. Would you visit China again, and where would be the next province you would want to visit?

Yes, definitely! I love the natural scenery in China, and I consider most sights to be uniquely found in China too. I would love to visit the Jiuzhaigou Valley in the north of Sichuan, China. I am awestruck by the scenery there that I see on Google Images, and can’t wait to experience it in person!

10. What are your top travel tips for someone who wants to explore China for the first time?

Firstly, be prepared for a culture shock, because people there are not as hygienic as people who grow up in first-world countries. Many of them spit on the roads and it can be quite shocking to people with a high standard of hygiene! Secondly, most of the people can’t speak English, and even if they do, it is extremely rare to find people who can speak it fluently. There might be a communication barrier if you can’t speak conversational Mandarin. Lastly, beware of swindlers, thieves and pickpockets! Always guard your belongings and never take for granted the safety of your possessions. Enjoy your trip to China in the future, and I hope that you’ll have an amazing time there!

Thanks Milton for sharing and I hope that we could visit China together in future!

Coming home now he is must be so exhausted from the vacation. So he needed a break, and he rested in Bali for 9 days!

--
Best Regards,

Winnie"

7 September 2014 -  Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - The Rapture And End-Time Tribulation Explained (Part 2)

God expects us to study prophetic scriptures.

Many people are confused between the Rapture and the Second Coming of Christ. In the Rapture, Jesus is coming for His people, in His Second Coming, Jesus is coming with His people.

Today, God has a righteous foundation to see us as righteous in His eyes because Christ paid the price for our sins.

In 1870 - Romans conquered Jerusalem and razed the temple to the ground, fulfilling the prophecy that "not one stone will be left upon another".

In Matthew 24-25, Jesus is talking about the End Times to the Jewish people, not about the Rapture.

In heaven, John saw a multitude of people that no man can number. Many people will be saved!

Because we are believers, there is a huge open door for God to bless and save our households as well!

It is easier to be saved than to be lost. All it takes is to say "I believe in You." to Jesus to be saved. Some people are being saved because they were visited by Jesus in their dreams.

1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 - We as believers are instructed take the position of awaiting the coming of Jesus from heaven - not of the tribulations, not of the anti-Christ.

"For they themselves volunteer testimony concerning us, telling what an entrance we had among you, and how you turned to God from [your] idols to serve a God Who is alive and true and genuine, And [how you] look forward to and await the coming of His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead–Jesus, Who personally rescues and delivers us out of and from the wrath [bringing punishment] which is coming [upon the impenitent] and draws us to Himself [investing us with all the privileges and rewards of the new life in Christ, the Messiah]." (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 AMP)

The Rapture is imminent, but the Second Coming is still waiting for events to be fulfilled.

Picture
After the Rapture, the Great Tribulation spoken of in the Book of Revelation will begin and last for 7 years. Great wickedness will reign on earth because the Holy Spirit leaves the earth with the all believers.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 - Believers who pass away don't die, but fall asleep in Christ. There is no criteria to be enraptured except for believing in Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior. Those who have fallen asleep will be enraptured first, followed by the believers who are still alive on earth.

"Now also we would not have you ignorant, brethren, about those who fall asleep [in death], that you may not grieve [for them] as the rest do who have no hope [beyond the grave]. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him through Jesus those who have fallen asleep [in death]. For this we declare to you by the Lord's [own] word, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall in no way precede [into His presence] or have any advantage at all over those who have previously fallen asleep [in Him in death]. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first. Then we, the living ones who remain [on the earth], shall simultaneously be caught up along with [the resurrected dead] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always (through the eternity of the eternities) we shall be with the Lord! Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 AMP)

Don't retire, re-fire! Be ablaze with love for Christ. Lead a life that glorifies The Lord.

When people accuse or lash at you, don't whack back, just rise above it like a prince/princess.

Ask yourself, "Is what i'm doing pleasing to The Lord?"

The Lord is never flattered into graciousness, or provoked into aggression. He is uninfluenced by us and cannot be manipulated into action. He is altogether lovely and perfect!

1 Corinthians 15:51-54 - All believers will be enraptured. Every believer is saved totally by grace, by no merit of their own.

"Take notice! I tell you a mystery (a secret truth, an event decreed by the hidden purpose or counsel of God). We shall not all fall asleep [in death], but we shall all be changed (transformed) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the [sound of the] last trumpet call. For a trumpet will sound, and the dead [in Christ] will be raised imperishable (free and immune from decay), and we shall be changed (transformed). For this perishable [part of us] must put on the imperishable [nature], and this mortal [part of us, this nature that is capable of dying] must put on immortality (freedom from death). And when this perishable puts on the imperishable and this that was capable of dying puts on freedom from death, then shall be fulfilled the Scripture that says, Death is swallowed up (utterly vanquished forever) in and unto victory. [Isa. 25:8.]" (1 Corinthians 15:51-54 AMP)

Picture
When the Rapture happens, the dead in Christ (believers who have passed on) will be raised and caught up first, followed by all believers who are alive on earth.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 - Wickedness is still restrained because of the Holy Spirit's presence on earth. Once the believers are enraptured, the Holy Spirit follows us, and there won't be any restraint on evil anymore on earth.

"For the mystery of lawlessness (that hidden principle of rebellion against constituted authority) is already at work in the world, [but it is] restrained only until he who restrains is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one (the antichrist) will be revealed and the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of His mouth and bring him to an end by His appearing at His coming. [Isa. 11:4.]" (2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 AMP)

Luke 1:21-22 - The gospel of Luke begins with Zechariah, a priest who was made dumb for his unbelief, who can't bless the people as he could not speak.

"Now the people kept waiting for Zachariah, and they wondered at his delaying [so long] in the sanctuary.
But when he did come out, he was unable to speak to them; and they [clearly] perceived that he had seen a vision in the sanctuary; and he kept making signs to them, still he remained dumb." (Luke 1:21-22, AMP)

Luke 24:50-53 - In contrast to Luke 1:21-22, the gospel of Luke ends with Jesus, our perfect High Priest, blessing His people. Our God never fails.

"Then He conducted them out as far as Bethany, and, lifting up His hands, He invoked a blessing on them. And it occurred that while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up into heaven. And they, worshiping Him, went back to Jerusalem with great joy; And they were continually in the temple celebrating with praises and blessing and extolling God. Amen (so be it)." (Luke 24:50-53, AMP)

Matthew 17:1-3 - In the context of the Rapture, Moses represents the saints who have died and will be raised, and Elijah represents those who are still alive on earth. Both groups of believers will be enraptured.

"AND SIX days after this, Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. And His appearance underwent a change in their presence; and His face shone clear and bright like the sun, and His clothing became as white as light. And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, who kept talking with Him." (Matthew 17:1-3 AMP)

2 Peter 1:16-19 - Jesus's glory on the Mount of Transfiguration is a only preview of Jesus's glory at His Second Coming.

"For we were not following cleverly devised stories when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty (grandeur, authority of sovereign power). For when He was invested with honor and glory from God the Father and a voice was borne to Him by the [splendid] Majestic Glory [in the bright cloud that overshadowed Him, saying], This is My beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased and delight, We [actually] heard this voice borne out of heaven, for we were together with Him on the holy mountain. And we have the prophetic word [made] firmer still. You will do well to pay close attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dismal (squalid and dark) place, until the day breaks through [the gloom] and the Morning Star rises (comes into being) in your hearts." (2 Peter 1:16-19 AMP)

Genesis 5:21-24 - Enoch (who did not die but was brought home to be with the Lord without death) represents believers who are enraptured before the Great Tribulation, but Noah represents believers who are saved after the Rapture who have to go through the Great Tribulation.

"When Enoch was 65 years old, Methuselah was born. Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God after the birth of Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters. So all the days of Enoch were 365 years. And Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God; and he was not, for God took him [home with Him]. [Heb. 11:5.]"

(Genesis 5:21-24 AMP) Genesis 5:27 - God is so patient. Methuselah is the longest living man on earth. After Methuselah died, the flood came. God prolongs the period of peace so that more people can be saved in Jesus Christ.

"So Methuselah lived 969 years, and he died." (Genesis 5:27 AMP)

Matthew 16:28 - 17:1-2 - Many are confused by Matthew 16:28. Jesus entered his kingdom six days later when His body was glorified on the Mount of Transfiguration. The disciples were still alive and saw Jesus enter His kingdom.

"Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in (into) His kingdom. AND SIX days after this, Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John his brother, and led them up on a high mountain by themselves. And His appearance underwent a change in their presence; and His face shone clear and bright like the sun, and His clothing became as white as light." (Matthew 16:28 - 17:1-2 AMP)

Revelation 22:20-21 - This passage refers to Jesus coming for us in a swift manner, not that He is coming soon.

"He Who gives this warning and affirms and testifies to these things says, Yes (it is true). [Surely] I am coming quickly (swiftly, speedily). Amen (so let it be)! Yes, come, Lord Jesus! The grace (blessing and favor) of the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with all the saints (God's holy people, those set apart for God, to be, as it were, exclusively His). Amen (so let it be)!" (Revelation 22:20-21 AMP)

When the believers are enraptured, they will undergo a transformation. Their bodies will become a glorified body similar to that of the ascended Jesus's, and they will be young, healthy, and be imperishable, forever!
