31 January 2021 - Good Success From Biblical Meditation - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPastor Joseph Prince taught us how to make our way prosperous in all areas of our lives. Whenever God mentions Biblical meditation, He always states an accompanying blessing. Mutter God’s word and see good success! Praise and Worship songs performed: 1. See a Victory - Elevation Worship 2. As He is So Are We - New Creation Worship 3. No Longer Slaves - Bethel Music Pastor Prince had a dream from God. In the dream, he was fishing by a tranquil lake. Suddenly, white skulls bobbed up onto the water surface, contrasted with the tranquil lake. Then, a crocodile burst out from the water and crunched up all the skulls, before disappearing back underwater. Through the dream, God was showing Pastor Prince that the devil is targeting carnally-minded people this year. The tranquil dry land Pastor was standing on represents being in the Spirit—a place where one cannot be devoured by the devil. Romans 8:6 - To be carnally-minded means to trust in your self efforts, wisdom, strength, talents and ability. To be carnally-minded is to become food for the enemy. “For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace;”(Romans 8:6 WEB) Genesis 3:19b - Man became carnally-minded after he fell. We are tripartite beings that are spirits that have souls that live in a body. The body is made from the dust of the earth, but the real man (the immortal spirit) has to be housed somewhere in eternity. Those who are saved will be in Heaven and those who die as unbelievers will be in the lake of fire. “...For you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”” (Genesis 3:19b WEB) Genesis 3:14 - The serpent’s food became dust. The devil feeds on your carnal-mindedness. “Yahweh God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed above all livestock, and above every animal of the field. You shall go on your belly and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.” (Genesis 3:14 WEB) You are in Christ Jesus, and practically, you are staying in the Spirit. Proverbs 3:13-17 - Wisdom is personified as a woman in this passage. When you embrace God’s wisdom, wisdom will embrace you back and you will receive these five benefits which are in her hands: 1) length of days, 2) riches, 3) honor, 4) pleasantness, 5) peace. God is not against you having money (John 10:10), but He is against money having you. When you give tithes and bless the poor, you will break the love of money in you (1 Timothy 6:10a). The way of a Christian is easy and light—pleasantness. In contrast, the way of a sinner (transgressor) is hard. We have peace with God (Romans 5:1). The Hebrew word for wisdom is “chokmah”. The Hebrew word for understanding is “bin”. “Happy is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gets understanding. For her good profit is better than getting silver, and her return is better than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies. None of the things you can desire are to be compared to her. Length of days is in her right hand. In her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness. All her paths are peace.” (Proverbs 3:13-17 WEB) Ephesians 1:17-18 - Pray this prayer daily this year. Our hearts have eyes. What we see from God in our hearts is the hazon vision. Adam had the choice of opening his spiritual eyes either by the tree of the knowledge of good and evil or the tree of life. The word “enlightened” is the Greek word “photizo” from which we get the English word “photo”. “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,” (Ephesians 1:17-18 WEB) Luke 24:16 - It is more important for us to see Jesus in the Scriptures than in person. Jesus walking with Cleopas and the other disciple on the road to Emmaus is a parallel with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Before the fall, Adam and Eve walked with God in the garden in the cool of the day. Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and saw their nakedness (Genesis 3:7). Cleopas and the other disciple partook of the broken bread (a picture of the Holy Communion) and had their minds opened to recognize Jesus. “But their eyes were kept from recognizing him.” (Luke 24:16 WEB) Psalm 119:130 - The word “entrance” in Hebrew is “pethach” which means “an opening”. Every time you receive God’s word, you are opening the door to God’s light. The word “understanding” in Hebrew here is also “bin”. “The entrance of your words gives light. It gives understanding to the simple.” (Psalms 119:130 WEB) The Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament was written in Greek. The Greek version of the Old Testament is called the “Septuagint”. It is useful because you can compare the same Greek words between the Old Testament and the New Testament, and know that they are talking about the same truths. Joshua 1:8 - Back then, Joshua only had the five first books of the Scriptures (the Torah written by Moses). It is not good enough just to read, but to meditate on it day and night. The word “meditate” in Hebrew is “hagah” which means “to mutter”. Biblical meditation means to mutter God’s word with your mouth and think about the words you are speaking. When you do this, you will see the meaning of the passage you are meditating on, in the eyes of your heart. The words “good success” is “sakal” in Hebrew. Every day, take a piece of scripture, memorize it, and mutter it. “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.” (Joshua 1:8 WEB) Deuteronomy 34:9 - Joshua was full of the spirit of wisdom and understanding because Moses laid his hands on him. After that, we read that it is wise to meditate on God’s word day and night. “Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands on him. The children of Israel listened to him, and did as Yahweh commanded Moses.” (Deuteronomy 34:9 WEB)

24 January 2021 - Have a Vision of our Good God - Pastor Lawrence Lim Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPastor Lawrence Lim showed us who God is from the Scriptures, that He is absolutely good. God wants you to prosper in all things and be healthy. God heals and provides for all your needs. It is crucial for us to have a right vision of God. When the world sees God's great goodness manifested in our lives, they will be in awe of Him! Praise and Worship songs performed: 1. Give Me This Mountain - New Creation Worship 2. As He is So Are We - New Creation Worship 3. Living Hope - Bethel Music Matthew 7:11 - Every good gift is from God in Heaven. All we need is to ask our Father, and expect to receive from Him. “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!” (Matthew 7:11 WEB) Luke 12:32 - Boldly ask for everything that you need. It is Abba God’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. He will provide for every need. “Don’t be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.” (Luke 12:32 WEB) The Bible kind of hope is a confident expectation of good things to come. Let your hope arise. Today is a good day for your miracle and breakthrough. Psalm 118:1 - God is absolutely good. “Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.” (Psalms 118:1 WEB) John 10:10 - Our perspective of God has to be in accordance with Jesus Christ and who He is. “The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.” (John 10:10 WEB) Ephesians 1:17 - God wants us to know Him. “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;” (Ephesians 1:17 WEB) 2 Peter 1:2 - We receive experience multiplied grace and peace when we know God and Jesus Christ. We have to have a vision of who God really is. “Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,” (2 Peter 1:2 WEB) 1 Timothy 1:17 - God is invisible to our natural eyes. “Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” (1 Timothy 1:17 WEB) Hebrews 11:27 - We must see God with the eyes of our heart (spiritual eyes). “By faith, he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.” (Hebrews 11:27 WEB) John 1:18 - No one has seen God the Father at any time. “No one has seen God at any time. The one and only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.” (John 1:18 WEB) Colossians 1:15 - We see the invisible God by looking at Jesus. Jesus is the exact representation of Abba God. God is a good God, and He is always good. “who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.” (Colossians 1:15 WEB) 17 January 2021 - How to See Hazon Visions - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPastor Joseph Prince taught us how to receive and recognize hazon visions from God. When God speaks to you in picture form, be ready to receive it and activate the power that lies therein! Praise and Worship songs performed: 1. King of Kings - Hillsong Music 2. You Alone I Praise - New Creation Worship Hazon visions are prophetic visions from God. When God speaks to you in picture form—that’s a hazon vision. The devil can also give visions to cause you to fear. The devil prophesies what he is about to do, but he is not omniscient. John 16:13 - The Holy Spirit can show you the future. “However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.” (John 16:13 WEB) Ephesians 1:16-20 - Pray this prayer daily. “don’t cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,” (Ephesians 1:16-20 WEB) God can give visions to people from all stations of life, however, only a believer can interpret those dreams accurately. God gave Nebuchadnezzar prophetic dreams, but only Daniel could interpret the dreams for him. Godly wisdom is reserved for believers. When believers don’t esteem dreams and visions, for fear of receiving false ones from the devil, he is blocking himself from his own inheritance in Christ. John 7:37-39 - We have received the Holy Spirit inside us. He is the rivers of living water. “Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink! He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.” But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn’t yet glorified.” (John 7:37-39 WEB) Acts 2:17 - God promises to pour out His Spirit, to give us dreams and visions in these last days. Pictures from God you see in the day time are visions. Pictures you see at night while asleep are dreams. “‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.” (Acts 2:17 WEB) Acts 11:28 - There are still New Testament prophets today. It is one of the five offices of the fivefold ministry. When prophets prophesy something negative, there will be a solution for the problem. However, when Satan gives a negative vision, he sends it to crush your spirit. A hazon vision from God will always align with Scripture and never contradict it. The prophet Samuel was the first one to be called a “seer”—he saw visions from the Lord. Habakkuk 2:2-3 - Visions from God may not be fulfilled immediately, but they will happen promptly in their time. “Yahweh answered me, “Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he who runs may read it. For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.” (Habakkuk 2:2-3 WEB) 10 January 2021 - Hazon Vision is the Missing Element - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPastor Joseph Prince taught us that hazon vision is the missing element in our lives. It is the reason why we haven’t experienced the fulfillment of what we are praying for. The image we see inside has to change first before we can experience the breakthrough outwardly. Praise and Worship songs performed: 1. Be Thou My Vision - Eleanor Henrietta 2. There’s Something About That Name - Bill Gaither 3. As He Is So Are We - New Creation Worship 4. See His Glory - Chris Bowater Proverbs 29:18a - People think that they are unhappy because they lack other things, but the missing thing is hazon vision. It is talking about a prophetic vision from the Lord. God is giving us hazon visions this year. The church is afraid of seeking visions because of the existence of false visions from false prophets, but God is restoring hazon visions to the church. “Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint...” (Proverbs 29:18a NKJV) 1 Samuel 3:1 - Eli means “my God”. In the New Testament, the focus is on “Avi” which is “my Father”. This story is prophetic of the transition in our times from seeing God as distant, to close as a Father. Who are you when no one is looking? That is the fruit of the New Covenant Gospel working in you. “The child Samuel ministered to Yahweh before Eli. Yahweh’s word was precious in those days. There visions were not frequent.” (1 Samuel 3:1 WEB) Matthew 27:46 - Jesus called God “My God”, so that we can call God “My Abba, Father”. “About the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lima sabachthani?” That is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”” (Matthew 27:46 WEB) Galatian 4:6 - We get to call God “Abba”. “And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!”” (Galatians 4:6 WEB) Galatians 5:16 - Walking in the Spirit is also walking in vision, seeing what God is showing us on the inside. “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16 WEB) Acts 10:38 - Jesus is the pattern man for us. Even though He is God, He functioned as a Man anointed with the Holy Spirit. Every miracle that Jesus did was by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. “even Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.” (Acts 10:38 WEB) John 5:3 - Whoever managed to get into the pool of Bethesda first when the angel stirred the pool would be healed. This denotes some strength needed from the men. This is a picture of receiving miracles from the Lord under the Law. However, Grace is attracted to our weaknesses, not our strengths. Although there were so many sick people at the pool, the Father sovereignly led Jesus to heal that one man who was crippled for 38 years. “In these lay a great multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, or paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water;” (John 5:3 WEB) John 5:19-20 - The Father showed Jesus visions from inside. Jesus just operated based on what His Father showed Him. The Lord is going to show you greater things that you may marvel. Jesus did not presumptuously go everywhere randomly and heal everyone. He was led by His Father. Despite this, we know that God’s will is to heal everyone, from seeing scenes of the multitudes touching Jesus and all of them getting healed. It’s just that there is a right timing for everyone. “Jesus therefore answered them, “Most certainly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise. For the Father has affection for the Son, and shows him all things that he himself does. He will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel.” (John 5:19-20 WEB) The world will get darker and darker, but the church of Jesus Christ will shine brighter and brighter. God is restoring relationships this year. If you think a person has been lost to you, God is restoring that person and relationship in Jesus’ name. Acts 2:1 - When the Law was given, 3000 people died at the foot of Mount Sinai. When Grace was given, 3000 souls were saved on the Day of Pentecost when Peter preached to the multitudes. This shows that the letter (the Ten Commandments) kills whereas the Spirit (Grace—the ministry of the Holy Spirit) gives life. “Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place.” (Acts 2:1 WEB) Sudio Nio Review - Wireless EarphonesMy wife and I are long-time fans of Sudio products. We have Sudio Tolv, Fem, Ett, Elva and Femtio, so we were really excited to receive a set of Sudio Nio wireless earphones for the purpose of this review. Sudio Nio has a sleek, functional design, and provides good sound for its price level. I chose the “Sand” color for my Nio because it is such a unique color that you don’t see often on wireless earphones. 3 January 2021 - The Year of Hazon Vision - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Theme of the YearPastor Joseph Prince released the theme of year 2021: It is "The Year of Hazon Vision"! Through receiving prophetic visions that cause faith to spring up, you will bring forth good things in your life this year and have many beautiful days! What are you seeing in your heart? These visions will be reproduced in your life, so ask the Lord to show you what you need to know! Praise and Worship songs performed: 1. Give Me This Mountain - New Creation Worship 2. As He Is So Are We 3. Agnus Dei - Michael W. Smith Isaiah 43:19 - God has new and unprecedented things in store for you this year. “Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19 WEB) Lots of changes and transitions are happening for God’s people this year, and it is going to be good. The theme of the year last year was “The Year of Time and Space”. It doesn’t mean that it is now over. The themes add on. God works with times and seasons. He also works with days, months and years, even though He lives outside time. Ephesian 5:15-16 - We can redeem the time. “Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise; redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 5:15-16 WEB) Joel 2:25 - God can restore the years to us. “I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you.” (Joel 2:25 WEB) Acts 9:43 - Joppa means “beautiful”. The name “Simon” means “to hear”, and there are two Simons in this verse. When it is doubled, it means “to harken diligently”. God revealed to Pastor Prince that we would have many beautiful days this year if we harken diligently to God’s word. “He stayed many days in Joppa with a tanner named Simon.” (Acts 9:43 WEB) Deuteronomy 28:2 - Harken to God’s word and all of God’s blessings will come upon you. “And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.” (Deuteronomy 28:2 KJV) The Bible is full of types—people, events and things that represent New Covenant truths. The woman with the issue of blood is a picture of the church. The woman was bleeding, but when she touched Jesus by faith, she was healed. Deuteronomy 2:14 - The impotent man at the Pool of Bethesda which Jesus healed is a picture of Israel. He had been impotent for 38 years, like the children of Israel who wandered for 38 years in the wilderness. “The days in which we came from Kadesh Barnea, until we had come over the brook Zered, were thirty-eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were consumed from the middle of the camp, as Yahweh swore to them.” (Deuteronomy 2:14 WEB) The apostle Paul was on a ship voyage that ended up shipwrecked. The people on the ship did not listen to Paul and that is why they were shipwrecked. At the end, they did listen to him and they reached the land of Malta (meaning “honey”). This is a picture of how the church suffers shipwreck if it doesn’t listen to the Pauline revelation of Grace. But every believer will reach the promised land flowing with milk and honey. Acts 10:1 - This verse is related to the times we are in. The word “Caesarea” means “severed”. It is very interesting that all the centurions in the Bible are portrayed in a positive light. The name Cornelius means “that which pertains to the Horn or the Crown”. The name Cornelius is related to the word corona which also means “crown”. The COVID-19 virus is called “coronavirus” because it has horn-like projections, forming the likeness of a crown. Cornelius does not represent the coronavirus, but his name identifies that the story is prophetically speaking about the times we are in now. “Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment,” (Acts 10:1 WEB) 1 Samuel 2:10 - The word “horn” (in Hebrew: ceren) is a picture of kingly power and authority. “Those who strive with Yahweh shall be broken to pieces. He will thunder against them in the sky. “Yahweh will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.”” (1 Samuel 2:10 WEB) Ephesians 6:13 - “Evil day” is singular. There will be evil days but they will be few in comparison to the beautiful days that we will have. “Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:13 WEB) 1 Peter 3:10 - God’s word promises that we can have good days in this lifetime. It is not evil to pray for that. “For, “He who would love life, and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit.” (1 Peter 3:10 WEB) Job 36:11 - Elihu is a type of Christ in this story. If you listen to God, you can enjoy years filled with God’s prosperity and pleasures. “If they listen and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.” (Job 36:11 WEB) Psalm 23:6 - The word translated as “follow” actually has an intensity that means “to hunt down or pursue”. God’s goodness and mercy will hunt you down all the days of your life. “Surely goodness and loving kindness shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in Yahweh’s house forever.” (Psalms 23:6 WEB) 1 Samuel 3:1-4 - It is a sad thing when visions (in Hebrew: hazon) from the Lord were rare at the time. “The child Samuel ministered to Yahweh before Eli. Yahweh’s word was precious in those days. There visions were not frequent. At that time, when Eli was laid down in his place (now his eyes had begun to grow dim, so that he could not see), and God’s lamp hadn’t yet gone out, and Samuel had laid down in Yahweh’s temple, where God’s ark was; Yahweh called Samuel; and he said, “Here I am.”” (1 Samuel 3:1-4 WEB) Proverb 29:18 - The word translated as “revelation” is also hazon in Hebrew, meaning vision (from the Lord). “Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law.” (Proverbs 29:18a NKJV) Genesis 15:1-2 - When the Lord gives you a word, it often comes in a vision form. That vision will affect your heart and cause faith to spring forth. Abram was seeing a vision of “childlessness”. The devil robs your vision before he robs you. “After these things Yahweh’s word came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Don’t be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.” Abram said, “Lord Yahweh, what will you give me, since I go childless, and he who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?”” (Genesis 15:1-2 WEB) Psalm 1:3 - How does the Lord show you that you are blessed? He shows you a vision—faith images. “He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.” (Psalms 1:3 WEB) Luke 6:45 - The image (vision) in your heart is what you will speak. “The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks.” (Luke 6:45 WEB) This year is “The Year of Hazon Vision”. Not just any vision, but prophetic visions from God. Genesis 13:14 - The name of Abraham’s nephew, Lot, means “veil”. When Lot left, then God spoke to Abram, saying that all that he sees, he will receive. “Yahweh said to Abram, after Lot was separated from him, “Now, lift up your eyes, and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward,” (Genesis 13:14 WEB) Proverbs 4:23 - Guard your heart for the forces of life proceed from it. “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.” (Proverbs 4:23 WEB) |
