29 March 2020 - Receive Jesus to Experience Extraordinary Miracles - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesPastor Joseph Prince shared that in this time of darkness, Jesus is calling His church to actively receive Him to experience His extraordinary miracles and protection in their lives. All these signs of darkness just shows that the dawn of our Lord's return is coming very soon! Praise and Worship Songs Performed: 1. Anthem of Grace - New Creation Worship 2. Stronger - New Creation Worship Where two or three (the smallest plurality) are gathered in Jesus’ name, the Lord Jesus is in their midst. In a corporate gathering of God’s people there is a special anointing and power of the Lord available. We don’t walk in the spirit of fear that the world is walking in. That would be imparting a bad example to our children and family. God created things out of nothing. He can also use five loaves and two small fishes to feed many. Prophetically, Jesus is feeding Israel, and there will be the time when the twelve basketfuls of food will be opened for Israel. Israel came out of Israel marshalled/armed by fives. It’s like they came out as an army. Jesus made the multitudes to sit in groups of fifty. God will supply us according to the riches of glory that is in Christ Jesus. “According” means everything that belongs to God is yours. Ephesians 1:7 - We have been forgiven “according” to the riches of God’s Grace. “in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,” (Ephesians 1:7 WEB) God lives in the eternal “now”—He is not limited by time. Jesus sat down at the Father’s right hand because all our sins have been forgiven. Jesus rose from the dead as a divine receipt, demonstrating that all our sins have been forgiven. Isaiah 54:13-14 - Your children will be taught by the Lord Himself, and their shalom peace (wholeness) will be great. You the parent, should be established in your identity as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Isaiah 53 talks about Jesus on the cross, whereas Isaiah 54 talks about the fruit of Jesus’ finished work at the cross. “All your children will be taught by Yahweh; and your children’s peace will be great. In righteousness you will be established. You will be far from oppression, for you will not be afraid; and far from terror, for it shall not come near you.” (Isaiah 54:13-14 WEB) Isaiah 54:17 - The promise is not that no weapons will be formed. The promise is that all weapons formed against you will not prosper. The COVID-19 virus won’t prosper against you. “No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.” (Isaiah 54:17 WEB) The feeding of the five thousand is a miracle that appears in all four synoptic gospels. It happens between the rejection of Jesus and Jesus’ glorious coming. It holds a message for our time whereby Jesus is still feeding us. God’s revelations are given to those who are hungry to know Him more. Jesus said not to cast your pearls before swine. Jesus came walking on the sea to His disciples in the darkest watch of the night, close to the dawn. Dawn is coming—Jesus will return for us soon! Wrong doctrine produces wrong believing and therefore wrong thinking and living. When you believe right, you will live right. When you are fearful, examine what you’re believing. We will not be going through the Tribulation. We will be taken away to be with Jesus in Heaven before the Tribulation begins. Luke 4:17-20 - Usually in the synagogues, they would teach what not to do and what to do to obey God’s laws. But for the first time, there was a proclamation of what God was doing at that time. All the eyes of the listeners were fastened onto Jesus who is the Messiah. Jesus is the “Sent One” on a mission of love, to save mankind from their sins. Preachers and teachers need to close the book where Jesus closed the book. Preach and teach about God’s love in this dispensation. “The book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. He opened the book, and found the place where it was written, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed, and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.” (Luke 4:17-20 WEB) The COVID-19 is not God’s judgment upon the world. It is also not the beginning of the Tribulation. Isaiah 61:2 - The day of vengeance is the 7 years of Tribulation that will come upon the world in the future, after the Rapture happens. God is righteous and just so He has to punish sin, but God is love. His heart is to save mankind. He doesn’t take pleasure in the death of sinners. God the Father is the one who planned for His Son to die as a propitiation for our sins. God ordained for His wrath for sins to fall upon Jesus at the cross, so that His wrath would not be punished in us who have faith in Jesus. God is righteous in making us righteous. Pride is when you try to manufacture your own righteousness. When you accept righteousness as a gift, you are being humble. “to proclaim the year of Yahweh’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;” (Isaiah 61:2 WEB) God turned Paul, a Pharisee of Pharisees, to become an apostle of Grace. He turned John who wanted to call down fire, into an apostle of love. Pastor Prince was a stutterer when he was younger, and now God is using him mightily in the very area of his former weakness. God’s strength is made perfect in your area of weakness.

You Say - Lauren Daigle We are living in a time whereby time and space are being restricted in the world because of the fear of the COVID-19 virus. But Jesus is the Lord of Time and Space. Jesus compressed time in His first miracle. In an instant, He turned water into excellent wine. Pastor Joseph Prince for the COVID-19 virus to come to an end, whether miraculously or via a vaccine. In Jesus’ second miracle, Jesus healed a nobleman’s son from a long distance away, showing that He is the Lord of Space. The Hebrew word “yasha” means to save, but it also has the meaning of ample space. The opposite which is narrowness has the idea of troubles and afflictions. God can enlarge space for you. This online service is an example of enlargement of space—more people are able to tune in to the message than ever before. Grain, wine and oil are types. The antitypes are the bread and wine (the Lord’s Supper), and the anointing oil (which represents the power of the Holy Spirit). Every time Israel brought a burnt offering to God, they received a victory. The Lord thundered from Heaven and delivered them from the troubles. The thrice-holy God is righteous in receiving us because of Jesus’ finished work at the cross. God’s love caused Him to send His Son to die for us at the cross. The cross is the righteous payment for man’s sins. Jesus’ primary purpose in dying at the cross is to glorify God, satisfying all of His righteous attributes. The meal offering represents the life Jesus lived on earth, whereas the peace offering represents the fragrance Jesus emitted to God when He died on the cross. The sacrificial animal’s heads, innards and legs were burnt, representing how Jesus knew no sin, had no sin in Him, and did no sin. Numbers 13:23-24 - “Cluster” is a term of infamy nowadays because of COVID-19 virus, but God is going to change that. He’s raising clusters of blessings all over the world. We’re going to be a source of joy to the world. The cluster of grapes on the staff between two men represents Jesus who was crucified on a pole between the two thieves. Grapes are crushed to produce wine for our enjoyment and celebration. Jesus was crushed at the cross so that we may rejoice in Him. “They came to the valley of Eshcol, and cut down from there a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bore it on a staff between two. They also brought some of the pomegranates and figs. That place was called the valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the children of Israel cut down from there.” (Numbers 13:23-24 WEB) Numbers 32:8-9 - God wants us to rest in Jesus. Rest doesn’t mean inactivity—it is Spirit-directed activity. “Your fathers did so when I sent them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land. For when they went up to the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which Yahweh had given them.” (Numbers 32:8-9 WEB) When watching the news, just see the headlines and don’t get into the details. Bad news has a withering effect on your soul. This is the first ever live-streamed service. God could have allowed this so that people all over the world get to watch and be blessed. The devil is like a toothless beast on a leash. God is restraining him from doing all the evil that he wants. God can even turn around what the devil does, for His own glory. Assembling together physically as a church is God’s best. Pastor Prince believes that when the COVID-19 ends, it will happen quickly. The side chamber of the temple of Solomon is the dwelling place of the priests. Today we are royal priests to God. We live so near to the dwelling of God. The side chamber has three floors—each successive floor is wider than the one below: five cubits, six cubits, seven cubits. The first floor is the storage place for the grain, wine and oil. When Isaac blessed Jacob with the firstborn blessing, there was plenty of grain and wine mentioned. But when Jacob prayed for Esau afterwards, he didn’t mention the grain or wine. Esau must have had physical grain and wine in his kingdom. So the firstborn blessing about the grain and wine is not in the natural, but spiritual. Grain and wine is a picture of the Holy Communion, and this is our Lord Jesus’ love language towards us. The anointing oil represents the applied power of the Holy Spirit. When we apply the oil and pray, our trust is in the power of the Holy Spirit, not the oil. A seal is a mark of protection. The COVID-19 is not a part of the end time judgments from God as written in the Book of Revelation. We will be transformed and taken up in the Rapture first before the Tribulation begins. The posture for a believer is not looking forward to the grave, but looking forward to the coming of the Lord Jesus. It seems like it’s going to be soon because of the frequency of the signs of the end times. The devil is so afraid because he knows the day of vengeance is coming upon him soon. Why didn’t God stop Adam from eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil? God gave mankind free choice. He respects it and will not infringe it. You are free to choose, but you cannot choose the consequence of your choice. Our spirit is complete in Christ, but in our body we still experience sinful temptations. Even when we feel these impulses, we can choose to live by faith and not act on them. Abba God loves you even as He loves Jesus. The one who told Jesus “You are My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased,” loves you. God gave up Jesus, proving His love for you. We who have children will most likely not be willing to give them up for a criminal. The fine flour in the meal offering is a picture of our Lord Jesus. Everything is in perfect proportion, and there’s nothing coarse about Him. The frankincense in the offering represents how Jesus exudes a fragrance to the Father. 8 March 2020 - Sit Afresh with Christ to Overcome Every New Challenge - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesEvery time the devil raises up a new trial or persecution to shake your faith, practice sitting afresh with Christ and see how God has already prepared all the protection and provision for you. His supply of grace always exceeds your needs. Let’s not talk about the coronavirus which the world is talking about. Let’s talk and hear about Jesus—the King of kings and Lord of lords. We are like on a wilderness journey on our way home to Heaven. When believers pass on today, it’s not death but falling asleep, because Jesus has conquered Death for us. Death is behind us. In the wilderness, the rock was smitten and water came out to refresh the people. The rock represents Jesus. The waters of Mara were bitter, but the tree was thrown in and the water became sweet. The tree is a picture of Jesus’ finished work at the cross. The fiery serpents bit the children of Israel in the wilderness, but when they looked intently at the bronze serpent on the pole, they were healed and lived. The bronze serpent on the pole represents Jesus crucified at the cross, who bore all our sin and curse. Those who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through Jesus Christ. Righteousness is gift to you because Jesus paid for it and you received it freely by faith. Don’t forsake the gathering of the church even as we see the day approaching. The day of the Rapture is approaching. We see plagues, great earthquakes and rumors of wars, just as Jesus predicted. But don’t focus on all these—lift up your heads and look to Jesus. The 144,000 in the Book of Revelation are Jewish evangelists who will be raised by God to proclaim the Gospel to the world during the Tribulation which is after the Rapture. When the Rapture happens, we won’t be like disembodied ghosts—we will have new immortal bodies. We will live forever in that body, and never be sick or die. We will not be limited by time or space. What God does will stand the test of time. The devil gives quick fixes that don’t really have lasting beneficial effects. Don’t fear what the world fears. The most spoken words Jesus day is “al tirah” (fear not). The first time al tirah appears in the Bible is when Abram had a dream about God assuring him that He was his shield (Genesis 15:1). When He was on earth, Jesus could not be destroyed or killed because He was sinless—death could not fasten on Him. This is referred to as the “impeccability of Christ”. Even though Jesus could not be killed, there was a humility about Him—He was born as a baby, and we read that He felt physical tiredness. For the feeding of 5000, Jesus used only 5 loaves to feed them. For the feeding of 4000, Jesus used 7 loaves. In God’s economy, the bigger the problem, the easier it is for Him to solve it. God’s ways are opposite of the world. To be exalted, we should humble ourselves. Being exalted (promoted) is not wrong—but let God be the one to exalt you. Don’t try to get there yourself. God exalts you to become a greater blessing to others, and so that you can bring many to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We have prosperity for a purpose. We are now in the dispensation of Grace. God is thrice-holy and cannot receive sinful man into His presence. Through Jesus’ finished work at the cross, God had a righteous basis to receive us as His children. Jesus’ precious blood that was shed fully met the divine requirements of the Law. God told Abraham to take his son, the son that he loved, to be sacrificed at Mount Moriah. In the end, God did not let Isaac die. This incident is a picture of what was to come at the cross. God the Father offered His only Son, the Son whom He loved, to be sacrificed at the highest point on Mount Moriah—Mount Calvary. Jesus said, “Before Abraham was, I AM.” He is still the I AM. When worldly men are prosperous, they don’t think about God or their soul. They only focus on their flesh and its satisfying its carnal desires. Through this COVID-19 virus, even though it’s not from God, many souls are thinking about God for the first time and even receiving Jesus as Lord. Pastor Joseph Prince mentioned a good book “Beyond Death’s Door” written by Dr Maurice S. Rawlings which is the testimony of a well-respected medical surgeon that describes a glimpse of the afterlife—both Heaven and Hell. |
