Chinese New Year is a time to reconnect with family rather than preparing the perfect steamboat. Don’t put unnecessary laws or demands upon yourself. When Jesus said that He “must go up to Jerusalem” to suffer and die at the cross, we see His heart to restore mankind to Himself. He wants a relationship with us. Perfect prayer is when we see Jesus as perfectly loving us. It’s not how perfect we are—it’s how perfect He is. When you’re sad Jesus draws near to you, just like how He drew near to the two disciples on the road to Emmaus. Matthew 11:28-30 - Real rest is knowing that Jesus loves you. Come to Jesus and He’ll teach you how to live freely and lightly. Jesus is God and He is love. Christians are to be recognized by their love for one another. ““Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”” (Matthew 11:28-30 MSG) 1 Chronicles 28:19 - This verse is about David receiving the blueprint for Solomon’s temple from the Lord. David had a heart of worship. Jesus will teach you how to understand life. ““All this”, said David, “I have been made to understand in writing from Yahweh’s hand, even all the works of this pattern.”” (1 Chronicles 28:19 WEB) 1 Chronicles 28:20 - We need to be strong and courageous because God’s plan for our life is hard to achieve—but possible through Him. To be a strong Christians means to fasten yourself to Jesus. Courageous in the Hebrew has the meaning of being alert. David personalized God as “my God”. We will fail but God will never fail us. Be conscious that God is with you and that He will never leave nor forsake you. “David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed; for Yahweh God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of Yahweh’s house is finished.” (1 Chronicles 28:20 WEB) Let God’s word come into your life. Our life’s foundation is the Grace of God. We don’t read the Bible to find out what to do. We read it to know and believe what Jesus has done for us. Read it to see how much God loves you. Read the Bible just to gain knowledge makes us proud, but read it to see God’s love builds us up. Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. Bring your thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ (the finished work at the cross), not your own obedience to Christ. Jesus is Immanuel—know that He is always with you through His Spirit.

He will even restore the years you have wasted, and renew your body to the days of your youth. As you allow the water of God’s word to wash you, your flesh will be fresher than a child’s and your health will spring forth speedily. Praise and Worship songs performed: 1. I See Grace - New Creation Worship The year of time and space is a theme for this church, not for the whole world, although God does do things in parallel between the church and the world. God will manipulate time and space in your favor this year. Large space is an idea of deliverance, salvation and help. Constricted space is a picture of suffering and troubles. God is going to bring us to a wider space as we ascend with Him step by step this year—5 cubits, 6 cubits, then 7 cubits. Sometimes a step that seems to be going away from your destiny is actually a step towards your destiny in Christ. Listen to the Holy Spirit. He can show you things to help and teach you, even in things like parenting. Things will happen so fast this year—you’ll experience accelerated blessings. A kairos moment is when God does something He wants to do. Everything in atoms suggests that they should repel, but there is an unknown force that holds them together. Jesus is the one that holds all things together. Jesus accelerated time when He turned the water into wine at the wedding in Cana. That was the first miracle that Jesus did. It was a miracle of luxury because it wasn’t to heal or save. It was just to save the wedding couple from embarrassment. The wedding guests were all drunk anyway and they may not have known the difference. In Jesus’ second miracle, Jesus healed the nobleman’s son from a distance. We know the nobleman believed Jesus’ word because he stayed overnight in Cana and only went back to Capernaum the next day. Jesus’ first two miracles demonstrated that He is the Lord of time and space. A recorded sermon still has the same anointing on it. It transcends time and space. People still get healed when they watch Pastor Prince’s sermons from years ago. John 2:1 - We are in the third day of the Lord whereby the Rapture can happen at any time. “The third day, there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there.” (John 2:1 WEB) 2 Peter 3:8-9 - Jesus’ return for us delays because God is not willing that any should perish. He wants more people to be saved. There will be judgment upon the world in the future, but not upon believers. We have passed out of judgment, into eternal life. “But don’t forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:8-9 WEB) Any invention can be twisted for evil because of the heart of man. Pastor Prince believes that the smartphone was allowed to be made because so that the Gospel can be shared further, faster. The smartphone wasn’t made for viewing pornography, gossip or evil things. When you die and step out of your mortal body, the spirit-man will step into either Heaven or Hell. The Gospel is the truth that God loves you so much that He sent His Son to die in your place. God has bound Himself judicially—He cannot punish you (a believe) for your sins or send you to Hell. He already punished your sins in Jesus’ body at the cross, so He is righteous in making you righteous. The world would rather believe in UFOs and Iron Man than in God Almighty. A judge must punish wrong. Jesus will one day sit as judge over the living and the dead on the Great White Throne. Only the Gospel can change the heart of man. God saves individuals, not nations. Only one nation will be saved: Israel. The apostle John saw Jesus as a lamb that had just been slain, even though Jesus’ death happened years before. After His death, Jesus rose from the dead early in the morning on the third day. Could the Rapture happen early in the third day of the Lord as well, perhaps in the early 2000’s? Jesus’ glorified body has flesh and bones, yet it transcends the natural laws of time and space. In your new body at the Rapture, you will have no fear of heights. The Rapture is going to happen soon. The devil wanted Jerusalem to be out, but it’s too late—Jerusalem is back in the land. Prophecy is being fulfilled. The Antichrist will have a system called the Beast—possibly an AI robot. On the third day, there will also be the marriage supper of the Lamb. In your new body, even pleasures of eating food will be accentuated. John 4:43, 46 - This is another reference to the third day. The emphasis is on our time. “After the two days he went out from there and went into Galilee...Jesus came therefore again to Cana of Galilee, where he made the water into wine. There was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.” (John 4:43, 46 WEB) Israel has been having drought, but last year the drought broke and they are having record high rains. Israel is God’s prophetic time clock. First the natural Israel, then spiritual Israel (the church). In 2020 the Year of Time and Space, Pastor Joseph Prince teaches that you'll experience accelerated progress and blessings. If you have lost time and possessions, they will be restored to you as you follow the Holy Spirit one step at a time. Get ready to receive good things much faster than you originally thought. We are to be geared to the times, but anchored to the Rock (Jesus Christ). 1 Chronicles 12:32 - The sons of the tribes of Benjamin were good with the sling and many were left handed. Each tribe had different abilities they excelled at. David’s failure to discern the times led to his adultery with Bathsheba. We need to flow with the times that God has appointed. “Of the children of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their heads were two hundred; and all their brothers were at their command.” (1 Chronicles 12:32 WEB) Experts in the world say that the years from 2007 on is the Age of Acceleration. In 2006, Pastor Prince prophesied that the year would be a year of acceleration. In 2007, Pastor Prince declared that it would be the year of new beginnings. Acceleration brings new beginnings. In 2006, Facebook was made available to the world. It helped to accelerate businesses and brands in the world. In 2007, the Apple iPhone was relaunched to the world. It was a new beginning for mankind. In 2007 also, Kindle, Twitter and many technologies started. These man-made creations and innovations helped to multiply and save time. Many times what God is doing in the world at large parallels what He is doing in the church as well. When the world gets dark, the glory of the Lord will shine upon you (God’s people). Keep on coming to hear the word of God. Pray for wisdom and a mouth to speak as the oracles of God. Joel 2:19, 23-25 - After the rain and harvest, God restores to you the lost years. “Yahweh answered his people, “Behold, I will send you grain, new wine, and oil, and you will be satisfied with them; and I will no more make you a reproach among the nations...”Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in Yahweh, your God; for he gives you the former rain in just measure, and he causes the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain, as before. The threshing floors will be full of wheat, and the vats will overflow with new wine and oil. I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you.” (Joel 2:19, 23-25 WEB) Ecclesiastes 9:11 - God is outside of time and space. He can manipulate time and space in your favor. God can accelerate, suspend and reverse time for you. Sometimes if you are enjoying a moment, you want it to last longer. Ask God to suspend that time for you. This year you’ll find that God will place you at the right place at the right time. “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happen to them all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11 WEB) The secret of the winding staircase in the Temple of Solomon is that you gain the greatest height, using the least space, in the shortest time. It also saves energy. Walk one step at a time—you can’t see the whole flight of stairs. The Bible doesn’t confirm science. Accurate science confirms the Bible. The Scriptures are God-breathed. In Genesis 1, it says that “In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the earth”. In this verse you find the 5 aspects of science: Time, force, motion, space and matter. Whatever the Lord tells you to do, do it. Take a simple step in faith and you’ll go higher. At the wedding in Cana of Galilee, Jesus turned water into excellent wine. The newly-wedded couple received the credit from the governor of the feast. Jesus the Lord of Time compressed time. This was the first miracle that Jesus did. Cana means to “get”. Galilee means “winding”. You get by winding, like walking up the winding staircase. In Jesus’ second miracle, He healed a man’s son. You don’t need Jesus to come down from Heaven to heal you. Jesus only needs you to believe His word. The man showed that he really believed when he didn’t rush back to his sick son right away. He stayed at a hotel and only went back the next day to discover that his son had really been healed. John 2:11 - Jesus’ first miracle showed that He is the Lord of Time. “This beginning of his signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.” (John 2:11 WEB) John 4:54 - Jesus’ second miracle showed that He is the Lord of Space. When the Bible tells you about the first or second time something is done, it's not a superfluous detail. It’s going to be an amazing year for God’s people. There’s always a theme whether you want to admit or not. This is true for both in the church and in the world. God knows what is the emphasis for each year. The theme of the year adds on. God doesn’t take it away. So it’s also still the year of the latter rain. It’s still raining blessings for God’s people. When the whole world is full of darkness, even a small flicker will look very obvious to all. You’re going to walk through the valley of the shadow of death. A shadow of a tiger never killed anybody—you won’t die from your trials. God teaches you to profit and the way you should go. God doesn’t teach you to lose. God is holy and sinful man can not enter God’s presence without perishing. It’s like how mud dries up and turns into clay when the sun shines on it. When Jesus returns for us, our mortal bodies will be transformed. Our new incorruptible body will have flesh and bones, and yet it transcends matter. It can pass through walls and travel between places instantaneously. God created the heavens and the earth by speaking. The Big Bang Theory is false. No order comes out of chaos. No beauty comes out of destruction. The tabernacle of Moses is a picture of Grace whereas the temple of Solomon is a picture of glory. When people look at the temple of Solomon from outside, they can’t see the gold. The gold is inside, in the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies. When your friends and colleagues look at you, they can’t see the glory of Christ inside you. God leads you from inside you. You have been perfectly cleansed by Jesus’ blood such that the Holy Spirit can dwell inside you. God can use world leaders to speak prophetically. Queen Elizabeth said this during her recent Christmas address, “Giant leaps come from small step...small steps bring lasting change.” Whatever she said in her speech is highly-related to the theme of the year 2020. When God gives us a theme of the year, He wants it to be evangelistic as well. It can’t be so obvious and direct like “the year of favor” or “the year of goodness”. The theme of the year is also a conversation opener to give you opportunities to share the Gospel. The stones used to build Solomon’s temple were cut and hewn at the quarry in the darkness and brought out to the temple location. It’s just like us who were called out of darkness and brought into God’s marvelous light to become living stones in His temple. Someone had to go into the darkness to bring the stones out. They cannot come out themselves. We cannot redeem ourselves through the Ten Commandments. 1 Peter 2:4-5 - Jesus is a living stone chosen by God but who was rejected by man. You are precious and unique, made by God. “coming to him, a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, precious. You also, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 2:4-5 WEB) 1 Peter 2:9 - A king’s word has power. A priest is someone who gives glory to God. We believers are all royal priests who go into God’s presence and come out with power. True holiness is royalty. Jesus was dressed ordinarily but He exuded a mint of royalty. There’s no one who brings more joy to God the Father than His Son Jesus. Sentimentalism is not good. Don’t spoil your children just because they are precious to you. Children need to be disciplined. Jesus is truly kind and humble, and yet He’s not servile. When Jesus is firm, He’s not harsh. Jesus is altogether lovely—more excellent than every other man. Man looks at the outer appearance, whereas God is more concerned with what is inside your heart than how you look on the outside. When people see the glorious light upon your life, they’ll want to be like you. God’s going to bring you to a greater place of Biblical prosperity this year to glorify Him. The greatest prosperity is to know Jesus. “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:” (1 Peter 2:9 WEB) The moment you believe in Jesus, God treats you like Jesus. God doesn’t see your flaws and sins. He sees you overlaid with Jesus’ righteousness. Just like how the stones in the temple are laid with cedar and overlaid with gold. 1 Chronicles 28:11-12 - God gave David the blueprint for the temple. It was not David’s own design. “Then David gave to Solomon his son the plans for the porch of the temple, for its houses, for its treasuries, for its upper rooms, for its inner rooms, for the place of the mercy seat; and the plans of all that he had by the Spirit, for the courts of Yahweh’s house, for all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of God’s house, and for the treasuries of the dedicated things;” (1 Chronicles 28:11-12 WEB) God wants to bring His people to a place of greater rest. People are so stressed out nowadays. 1 Chronicles 28:19 - This verse is not talking about automatic writing such as playing with an ouija board. When you deal with an evil spirit, it will always take from you. God will not bypass our personality. It is David writing, but God giving the inspiration. God speaks through His people. When you have a prompting from the Holy Spirit, God will also confirm it through His people. ““All this”, said David, “I have been made to understand in writing from Yahweh’s hand, even all the works of this pattern.”” (1 Chronicles 28:19 WEB) We don’t need new year resolutions because those are by your own resolve (self-effort). When Pastor Prince prepares sermons, he receives a verse or passage from God and writes it down. That triggers off more and more revelation for the rest of the sermon. Psalms 29:9 - You are glorious because you are God’s temple. You are a walking temple of the Holy Spirit. “...In his temple everything says, “Glory!”” (Psalms 29:9 WEB) |
