25 September 2016 - Protection Truths in the Ark of the Covenant (Part 3) - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online
Sometimes when you hear a word in season for you, you may not recognize the need for it at first. Later on, that word will come back when you need it and you will remember it. In such cases, God has gone ahead of you! Jesus moves in life independent of people's opinion. He is not flattered by people, neither is He affected by criticisms towards Him. Only if you are free from caring about people's opinions of you then can you truly serve effectively. Why study the Ark of the Covenant? People who are wise will focus on studying about the Lord Jesus Christ. No matter what your occupation is, your job is to study Jesus! The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed. The New Testament is the Old Testament unveiled. Joseph was a slave but the Bible says that he was a successful man! You can prosper in every area that you have been planted in. Bloom where you are planted. God has planted you where you are at for a reason. Before you were born, you were already an Olympic champion. You beat millions of competitors to be victorious. You are the one that made it! God has made you a champion. Sin is the one that made us losers. God's glory for your mind is tranquility, peace and to be unperturbed. The Ark of the Covenant is the most important piece of furniture of all those in the Tabernacle. God instructed Moses to build the Ark first, and then build outwards. The Ark is the clearest picture of the Lord Jesus Christ.

24 August 2016 (Midweek Service) - Powerful Truths From the Book of Revelation - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineEven if you don't understand what the word of God is talking about, it is still cleansing you and you can receive healing through it. There's no such thing as the gospel on one side and the message of grace on the other side. There is only one gospel - the gospel of grace! This gospel is as old as the Apostle Paul! Christians don't like mud. A sheep may fall into the mud but it doesn't like to be dirty. A pig on the other hand, will be wallowing in the mud, having a great time. It doesn't mean that believers don't sin anymore, but it's not a believer's nature to sin. The more you identify with your new nature (you are the righteousness of God in Christ), the more you will be victorious over sin, and you will sin less and less. We are not identified with sin but we are identified with righteousness! The world is afraid of contagious diseases. With Jesus, wholeness, life and health are contagious. It doesn't mean we won't fall sick, but it means that we will get sick less and less. Matthew 5:1-2 - Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount while seated down. It's a good idea to do that to prevent fainting or falling down (haha). “And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:” (Matthew 5:1-2 NKJV 18 September 2016 - True Humility that Attracts God's Grace - Rev. Col Stringer Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineProverbs 13:10 - Strife, contention and trouble are the only things that comes from being proud. “By pride comes nothing but strife, But with the well-advised is wisdom.” (Proverbs 13:10 NKJV) John 15:5 - Without Jesus we cannot do anything, but with Him we can do all things! ““I am the vine, you are the branches. He was who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5 NKJV) I Peter 5:5-7 - Humility does not mean to grovel in the dirt. True humility is just total dependence on God, and not thinking higher of yourself than you ought to - think in line with what God's word says about you! “Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” (I Peter 5:5-7 NKJV) Galatians 5:16-21 - The kingdom of God operates by humility not by pride. “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5:16-21 NKJV) 11 September 2016 - Protection Truths in the Ark of the Covenant (Part 2) - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineJesus felt the whole gamut of human emotions just like we do, just that He being God and without the sin nature in Him, has the power to control them. What the three items inside the Ark of the Covenant represent: 1) The two tablets of the Ten Commandments represents Man's rejection of God's standards. 2) The pot of manna represents Man's rejection of God's provision. 3) Aaron's rod that budded represents Man's rejection of God-appointed leadership. The first mention of the "ark" is in Genesis, when Joseph was buried in a coffin. The word "coffin" is the word for ark. The ark is a coffin for the three items. The only suitable place for the three items is under the mercy seat. Grace is higher than the Law - that's why you can fall from Grace. The mercy seat is placed above the three items in the Ark of the Covenant. Blood is sprinkled on the mercy seat - God cannot look through His Son's blood. When God sees blood He cannot see sin. Jesus is the true Manna. He is the Bread from heaven. When you partake of the Holy Communion, remember that you are partaking of Jesus' flesh, which He gave for the life of the world. Aging is nothing more than dying, but now that we are partaking of Jesus' flesh, we will not die, but live. 4 September 2016 - Protection Truths in the Ark of the Covenant - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineIn heaven you cannot do anything to expand God's kingdom on earth. Pray and believe for preservation of your youth for the purpose of expanding God's kingdom on earth! When you take Holy Communion, do it in remembrance of Jesus, not of yourself. Don't worry about your needs. From Jesus comes your health and provision. There is both predestination and free will. Predestination means that God foreknew that you would receive Jesus. Romans 3:19-27 - Our body is not evil. God made our body good. Our body is fallen. God's law is not just outward, it is inward too. It stops every mouth, making everyone guilty and unable to boast before God. Under Law, God demands from man. Under grace, God supplies all our needs. Jesus paid for all our sins at the cross, and that's the righteous basis of our supply. God cannot forgive us on an unrighteous basis. Grace supersedes the Law. The Law was given by a servant, Moses, whereas Grace came through Jesus Christ the Son. We are justified freely. On God's part it was at a great cost - He gave up His Son and Jesus gave up His life. The love of God gave up the Son, and the righteousness of God exacted the payment. The word propitiation is used only twice in the New Testament - it is used with reference to the mercy seat. God is just in justifying you! It is not at the expense of His righteousness. The claims of divine righteousness have already been full met at the cross. It is not talking about not being punished for sins in one's past life, but about not punishing the children of Israel for their sins in the past when Jesus had not appeared to them yet. “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.” (Romans 3:19-27 NKJV) “For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past,” (Romans 3:25 NLT) |
