4 September 2016 - Protection Truths in the Ark of the Covenant - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineIn heaven you cannot do anything to expand God's kingdom on earth. Pray and believe for preservation of your youth for the purpose of expanding God's kingdom on earth! When you take Holy Communion, do it in remembrance of Jesus, not of yourself. Don't worry about your needs. From Jesus comes your health and provision. There is both predestination and free will. Predestination means that God foreknew that you would receive Jesus. Romans 3:19-27 - Our body is not evil. God made our body good. Our body is fallen. God's law is not just outward, it is inward too. It stops every mouth, making everyone guilty and unable to boast before God. Under Law, God demands from man. Under grace, God supplies all our needs. Jesus paid for all our sins at the cross, and that's the righteous basis of our supply. God cannot forgive us on an unrighteous basis. Grace supersedes the Law. The Law was given by a servant, Moses, whereas Grace came through Jesus Christ the Son. We are justified freely. On God's part it was at a great cost - He gave up His Son and Jesus gave up His life. The love of God gave up the Son, and the righteousness of God exacted the payment. The word propitiation is used only twice in the New Testament - it is used with reference to the mercy seat. God is just in justifying you! It is not at the expense of His righteousness. The claims of divine righteousness have already been full met at the cross. It is not talking about not being punished for sins in one's past life, but about not punishing the children of Israel for their sins in the past when Jesus had not appeared to them yet. “Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.” (Romans 3:19-27 NKJV) “For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past,” (Romans 3:25 NLT)
God wants us to eat, but eat to His glory. Enjoy the food and know that He is the source of the food.
There are no hospitals, judicial courts, etc. in heaven - There's nothing in heaven that indicates that there's evil on earth. If you have a problem with prosperity you have a problem with God, because He is prosperous and the streets of heaven are all made of gold. Many people have a poverty mentality of the streets of heaven being paved with gold which suggests that only the top layer is made of gold and below that is tar. No, the streets are made of gold all the way through! Teach your children to keep their virginity - teach them saying that precious things are kept under lock and key. A reply to all people who make fun of you or your child being a virgin before marriage: "To be like you, one night will do. For you to be like me, never again!" Today God sees believing as obedience. When it comes to the time for the final judgement, everyone will call Jesus Lord but it will be too late. There will be no more mystery on who Jesus is. Even the things below the earth will have to call Jesus Lord - Even the devil will have to call Jesus Lord. ![]()

Psalms 91:4, Hebrews 9:5 - Pastor Prince believes that Psalms 91 was written by King David. "Under His wings" refers to the mercy seat under the wings (which is what "His feathers" refers to) of the cherubim on the Ark of the Covenant. Holy means set apart for special purpose. The holiest place in the Tabernacle, is the mercy seat. “He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” (Psalms 91:4 NKJV) “and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.” (Hebrews 9:5 NKJV) Leviticus 16:14 - The place of entrance into the Holy of Holies is the east side. 7 is the number of perfection. 7 times represents perfection. The forgiveness we have received from God is perfect! “He shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat on the east side; and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times.” (Leviticus 16:14 NKJV) Mercy means not getting all the bad things that we deserve. Grace means getting all the good things that we don't deserve. One easy test to see whether a sermon message is of God is to see who it glorifies. Does it glorify Jesus, or does it glorify man? Committing suicide is a form of self-righteousness. Judas did not have to hang himself. If Judas had waited, Jesus would have hung on his behalf. Genesis 3:23-24, Zechariah 13:7 - After Adam and Eve sinned, they were driven out of the Garden of Eden, and cherubim and a flaming sword were stationed at the entrance of the garden to prevent any man from entering. That was the first mention of sword in the Bible. The last mention of sword in the Old Testament is significant and it is this: Awake O sword against My Shepherd (Jesus). “therefore the LORD God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.” (Genesis 3:23-24 NKJV) ““Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, Against the Man who is My Companion,” Says the LORD of hosts. “Strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered; Then I will turn My hand against the little ones.” (Zechariah 13:7 NKJV) What the three items inside the Ark of the Covenant represent: 1) The two tablets of the Ten Commandments represents Man's rejection of God's standards. 2) The pot of manna represents Man's rejection of God's provision. 3) Aaron's rod that budded represents Man's rejection of God-appointed leadership. Grace is higher than the Law - that's why you can fall from Grace. The mercy seat is placed above the three items in the Ark of the Covenant. Blood is sprinkled on the mercy seat - God cannot look through His Son's blood. When God sees blood He cannot see sin. Matthew 23:37-39 - God will not force His protection upon you. Wings always represent protection. ““O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ ”” (Matthew 23:37-39 NKJV) Jude 1:20-21 - We need to keep ourselves in the love of God and practice His love in our lives. When we practice the love of Jesus, we will end up first in life! “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” (Jude 1:20-21 NKJV) Goliath's name means "to strip". The devil is always trying to strip us - accusing us, making us feel condemned, to make us feel unloved. Psalms 91:3-7 - Amen! We are completely protected! “For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.” (Psalms 91:3-7 NLT) Preview: Pastor Joseph Prince's next book is called "The Prayer of Protection" that will teach us how to pray prayers of protection properly and to live fearlessly in these dangerous times! Get more details here. The greatest confession you can make in the New Testament is to declare that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. John 20:11-15 - Mary saw the mercy seat and the Ark of the Covenant. Mary was not wrong in thinking that Jesus was a gardener. What was lost in one garden (when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden), was restored in another garden. The first question from the resurrected Jesus' lips was "Why are you crying?" “But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. Then they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?” She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.” Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.”” (John 20:11-15 NKJV) I hope that you have been blessed by reading this post on "4 September 2016 - Protection Truths in the Ark of the Covenant - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online".
