Your Saving Grace - New Creation Worship 3 John 1:2 - John the apostle knew what God’s will is. The Hebrew word for “prosper” is “tsalach”. Prosperity in all things. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.” (3 John 1:2 WEB) Psalm 1:3 - Meditating on God’s word will cause us to prosper in all things and be healthy. “He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.” (Psalms 1:3 WEB) John 17:17 - God sets us apart from this world’s uncleanness and disease through His word. We walk in this world but we are not of the world. “Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.” (John 17:17 WEB) 1 Thessalonians 4:17 - It is one thing to be alive because you are young, and it is another thing to remain alive by God’s power working in you. “then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.” (1 Thessalonians 4:17 WEB) Acts 12:24 - God’s word was taken away from the common man during the dark ages, but now it has been restored to us, thanks to those who gave their lives to make the Scriptures available to the people again. We have the Bible. “But the word of God grew and multiplied.” (Acts 12:24 WEB) Joshua 14:10-11 - There is no point for long life if you are not strong and healthy. Caleb was not exaggerating. At the age of eighty-five, he had the strength for war and he was victorious against the giants. ““Now, behold, Yahweh has kept me alive, as he spoke, these forty-five years, from the time that Yahweh spoke this word to Moses, while Israel walked in the wilderness. Now, behold, I am eighty-five years old, today. As yet I am as strong today as I was in the day that Moses sent me. As my strength was then, even so is my strength now for war, to go out and to come in.” (Joshua 14:10-11 WEB) Philippians 1:23-24 - Choose to live long so that you can complete your assignment here on earth. “But I am in a dilemma between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Yet, to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake.” (Philippians 1:23-24 WEB) Psalm 116:8, 15 - It is very costly when one of God’s saints departs before his time because he is unable to continue ministering to others in the world with all the God-given gifts inside him. “For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. Precious in Yahweh’s sight is the death of his saints.” (Psalms 116:8, 15 WEB) Job 5:26 - It is possible to die before one’s time. There are things you can do that prolong your age and things you do that shorten your lifespan. “You shall come to your grave in a full age, like a shock of grain comes in its season.” (Job 5:26 WEB) Proverbs 4:7-8 - Wisdom is personified as a woman with two hands. When you embrace God’s wisdom, she embraces you with her two hands. Solomon had the left hand, but not the right hand of wisdom (length of days). “Wisdom is supreme. Get wisdom. Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding. Esteem her, and she will exalt you. She will bring you to honor, when you embrace her.” (Proverbs 4:7-8 WEB)

Pride Of A Father - Hillsong Music 1 Chronicles 12:32 - Today’s sermon is about understanding the times. “Of the children of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their heads were two hundred; and all their brothers were at their command.” (1 Chronicles 12:32 WEB) Matthew 24:12 - We live in such a time. “Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.” (Matthew 24:12 WEB) Luke 18:8 - Man is creating things to meet their own needs, casting aside the basic and fundamental things of God. “I tell you that he will avenge them quickly. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”(Luke 18:8 WEB) Romans 6:23 - There is no such thing as lying or stealing for the greater good. Sin is sin and it produces death. “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23 WEB) 2 Timothy 3:1-3 - This is what many people are like these days. “But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good,” (2 Timothy 3:1-3 WEB) Proverbs 28:22 - Acceleration is God’s part. We do need not to try and accelerate our own blessings. Our part is to rest in Him and in Jesus’ finished work at the cross. “A man with an evil eye hastens after riches, And does not consider that poverty will come upon him.” (Proverbs 28:22 NKJV) Isaiah 53:4 - Jesus bore our sicknesses and diseases at the cross so that we can receive healing. “Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.” (Isaiah 53:4 WEB) Matthew 8:17 - Jesus paid for our physical healing, not just spiritual healing. “that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, “He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.”” (Matthew 8:17 WEB) Genesis 26:18 - The devil is trying to cover up God’s truths so that believers remain defeated. “Isaac dug again the wells of water, which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father. For the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham. He called their names after the names by which his father had called them.” (Genesis 26:18 WEB) Amos 9:11 - God is repairing the breaches today. He is uncovering what the devil tried to cover up. “In that day I will raise up the tent of David who is fallen, and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old;” (Amos 9:11 WEB) Hebrew 10:19-20 - Now when we go to God, it is a new and living way. “Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;” (Hebrews 10:19-20 WEB) 13 February 2022 - Rest And See His Goodness - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lim Lian NeoNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lian encouraged us to believe the Lord for His abundance to manifest in all areas of our lives this year. Rest in His goodness and see Him accelerate all the blessings. “You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.” (Psalms 65:11 NKJV) Hebrews 3:10-12 - We rest in God through faith in Him. “Therefore I was displeased with that generation, and said, ‘They always err in their heart, but they didn’t know my ways;’ as I swore in my wrath, ‘They will not enter into my rest.’” Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God;” (Hebrews 3:10-12 WEB) Pastor Lian shared a testimony of a woman who chose to rest in God and experienced her accelerated healing. Matthew 11:28-29 - The word “labor” in Greek is “kopiaó” which means wearisome labor. The words “heavily burdened” in the Greek means to be anxious. The word “rest” in the Greek means to remain, to be refreshed, to take ease. There is a rest that Jesus gives, and there is a rest that we find. When we put Jesus in the center of our lives, we will find His rest. ““Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29 WEB) Resting means not be using your own effort to force, drive, nag, etc. Let go and let God take over. Pastor Lian shared a testimony of a student who was struggling in Chinese, but after she learned to rest in Jesus, she scored a good result in her final examinations. Isaiah 30:15 - The word for “returning” in Hebrew is “teshuvah”. The last Hebrew letter in the word is “hei” which means grace. We return to grace. The word for “saved” in Hebrew is “yasha” which means defend, deliver, help, preserve, get victory, etc. “For thus said the Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, “You will be saved in returning and rest. Your strength will be in quietness and in confidence.” You refused,” (Isaiah 30:15 WEB) John 1:17 - Grace is Jesus Himself. Return to Jesus. “For the law was given through Moses. During his time, the temple had not been built yet. Today, under the New Covenant going to the house of God is about attending a gathering of believers. “I was glad when they said to me, “Let’s go to Yahweh’s house!”” (Psalms 122:1 WEB) Matthew 18:20 - Christ is in our midst to provide, heal, and save when we are gathered in His name. “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”” (Matthew 18:20 WEB) Psalm 107:1 - We must believe that God is good. We can always expect great things from God. As we have received from Him, we can attempt great things for God. “Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.” (Psalms 107:1 WEB) Romans 15:13 - Our God is a God of hope. Even when the answer to your prayers has not arrived yet, you can still be full of all joy and peace in believing. God wants us to be overflowing with hope in every area of our lives. “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13 WEB) |
