Here - New Creation Worship Acts 2:1-4 - The Holy Spirit—the Father’s promise—was sent on the birthday of the church, on the Day of Petecost. Our Heavenly Father wants to be connected with us and be in communication with us. On that day, the Holy Spirit rushed down to embrace the disciples in the upper room. “Now when the day of Pentecost had come, they were all with one accord in one place. Suddenly there came from the sky a sound like the rushing of a mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.” (Acts 2:1-4 WEB) Colossians 1:20-23 - We are able to be in God’s presence and the Holy Spirit in us because we are cleansed by the blood of Jesus. God sees us as holy and blameless as Jesus is. Utterance is not about everyday speech but is of a dignified and elevated discourse. God gives us utterance when we pray in tongues. “and through him to reconcile all things to himself, by him, whether things on the earth, or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross. You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil deeds, yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without defect and blameless before him, if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven; of which I, Paul, was made a servant.” (Colossians 1:20-23 WEB) Romans 8:26 - God wants to help us in our weaknesses, sicknesses, diseases and inability to pray. When we pray in tongues we are allowing God to build ourselves up. If Paul didn’t know how to pray, then we need this gift too. “In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.” (Romans 8:26 WEB) The path of the righteous shines brighter and brighter. Next year is going to be even better than this year. We are set apart from this world. It is God who first loved us. We are born to be loved by Him. Everyday we are tempted to fear, so God wants to help us. 1 Corinthians 3:16 - You are the Holy Spirit’s address. You are a mobile temple of God. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ (Jesus). “Don’t you know that you are a temple of God, and that God’s Spirit lives in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16 WEB) Last week, in Rock Kidz “Treasured” (5-6 years old) children’s ministry, the children were baptized in the Holy Spirit and prayed in tongues for the first time. Living Hope - Bethel Music Some people in the congregation were on the verge of giving up hope. Synecdoche means “the part represents the whole”. When you proclaim the death of Jesus, you’re also proclaiming the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. When you get water baptized, you’re identifying with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Romans 5:5 - When we place our hope in Jesus, we will not be put to shame. “And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” (Romans 5:5 NIV) Isaiah 28:16 - Don’t act hastily or you may very well be put to shame. Don’t be indifferent either. Rest is not inactivity—it is Holy Spirit directed activity. When you pray in tongues, you’ll be at rest and you won’t act hastily. If God opens a door for you, no one can shut it—don’t think that you’ll miss it if you don’t act now. Even if a door from Him closes, don’t you think He can open another? “Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, “Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. He who believes shall not act hastily.” (Isaiah 28:16 WEB) Romans 5:6-8 - God “commends/demonstrates” in Greek is “sunistémi” (present active indicative tense) His own love towards us—He keeps on pointing to the cross of Jesus Christ. That is the love of our Savior. Jesus’ finished work at the cross is eternal—outside of time. The Book of Revelation says that the Book of Life belongs to Jesus the lamb who was slain from the foundation of the world—the cross covers the past, present and future. Never get familiar with Jesus, with the Word of God. Get intimate with the Lord—a fresh consciousness of love. Similarly don’t get familiar with your spouse. Keep the love fresh—that way things won’t go awry. “For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will hardly die for a righteous man. Yet perhaps for a righteous person someone would even dare to die. Victor’s Crown - Darlene Zschech 2. Because He Lives - Gloria Gaither 3. The One Thing - New Creation Worship We’re not here to preach principles, but the person of Jesus Christ. There are principles but the apostle Paul always taught them under the umbrella of the person of Christ and Him crucified. Luke 7:29-30 - This is an insert by the author Luke. Those who received John’s baptism declared that God was justified in His judgments on His people. “When all the people and the tax collectors heard this, they declared God to be just, having been baptized with John’s baptism. But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the counsel of God, not being baptized by him themselves.” (Luke 7:29-30 WEB) Luke 7:31-35 - The people were not responding correctly to God in whatever way He chose to speak to them—both Law and Grace were not getting their attention. ““To what then will I liken the people of this generation? What are they like? They are like children who sit in the marketplace, and call to one another, saying, ‘We piped to you, and you didn’t dance. We mourned, and you didn’t weep.’ For John the Baptizer came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Behold, a gluttonous man, and a drunkard; a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Wisdom is justified by all her children.”” (Luke 7:31-35 WEB) Luke 7:36-50 - The main theme of the chapter is “Who is Jesus?” Earlier in the chapter, Jesus healed the centurion’s servant with a word and Jesus resurrected a boy who was dead—only God can do that. The people were trying to make sense of what was going on. Some saw Jesus as a great prophet, while others had a greater revelation of Him and said “God has visited His people”—they were gaining a sense of what Immanuel meant. The point of the parable is not that the woman is a greater sinner and the Pharisee is a little sinner. Love is the proof that someone has experienced the forgiveness of God. Simon had not experienced forgiveness of sins yet. Jesus said that whoever didn’t believe that He is “I AM” (Yahweh) will die in their sins. The woman was lavish in her love but Simon was upright in appearance but spiritually bankrupt. The woman had no pretext or illusions about her own righteousness, that’s why it was easy for her to receive God’s forgiveness and know what it means to be truly human. All of us need to be forgiven. The world is an orphan crying out, looking for a Father. “One of the Pharisees invited him to eat with him. He entered into the Pharisee’s house, and sat at the table. Behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that he was reclining in the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster jar of ointment. Standing behind at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears, and she wiped them with the hair of her head, kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, “This man, if he were a prophet, would have perceived who and what kind of woman this is who touches him, that she is a sinner.” Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.” He said, “Teacher, say on.” “A certain lender had two debtors. The one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. When they couldn’t pay, he forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him most?” Simon answered, “He, I suppose, to whom he forgave the most.” He said to him, “You have judged correctly.” Turning to the woman, he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered into your house, and you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head. Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. Go in peace.”” (Luke 7:36-50 WEB) How to Begin Praying in Tongues According to the Bible“But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” (Jude 1:20 WEB) There’s faith, and then there’s a “most holy faith”. Holy means to be set apart. When we pray in the Holy Spirit, also known as praying in tongues, we are using a “most holy faith”. It is a faith that is uncorrupted by worldly beliefs, unhindered by our mind’s tendency to produce unbelief in our hearts and un-limited by our understanding of Scriptures and God’s heart for us. Praying in tongues is truly a gift that sets us apart unto God’s will—Jesus Himself praying for us through His Spirit living inside us, offering up praise and prayers that are perfectly aligned with God the Father’s will. “In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.” (Romans 8:26-27 WEB) It’s the gift that allows the holy Trinity to work in tandem, having free rein over your life—destroying whatever obstacles are in your way, orchestrating blessings in your path, building you up in all ways (body, soul and spirit) and even praying for others who need urgent help. “So the tongue is also a little member, and boasts great things. See how a small fire can spread to a large forest! And the tongue is a fire. The world of iniquity among our members is the tongue, which defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire by Gehenna.” (James 3:5-6 WEB) As ignorant unbelievers, we once used the power in our tongues to speak death and destroy what is good in our lives, sabotaging our destinies. “Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak.” (Acts 2:3-4 WEB) On the Day of Pentecost when Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit upon the church, the Holy Spirit manifested Himself as tongues of fire to show the nature of the gift of praying in tongues. Through the gift of praying in tongues, God catches hold of our tongues and uses its power to burn away what is evil and set up what is good and life-giving in our lives. 
When we pray in the Holy Spirit, also known as praying in tongues, we are using a “most holy faith”. It is a faith that is uncorrupted by worldly beliefs, unhindered by our mind’s tendency to produce unbelief in our hearts and un-limited by our understanding of Scriptures and God’s heart for us. Praying in tongues is truly a gift that sets us apart unto God’s will—Jesus Himself praying for us through His Spirit living inside us, offering up praise and prayers that are perfectly aligned with God the Father’s will.

Praise the Name - Hillsong Music The most important thing any man can do is to point to Jesus our Savior. Your best days are ahead of you. You think you want to learn how to serve God better, but God wants to serve you first. That’s His heart for you. To the traditional church, this sounds almost irreverent—but they don’t know God’s heart for us. John 13:3-5 - On the night that Jesus was betrayed, He stooped down on His knees and washed His disciples feet. He even washes the lowest parts of our lives. “Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came from God, and was going to God, arose from supper, and laid aside his outer garments. He took a towel, and wrapped a towel around his waist. Then he poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him.” (John 13:3-5 WEB) Don’t strive for the perfect state. Just live in the blessed state and enjoy it. I Am The God That Healeth Thee - Don Moen It is your Heavenly Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Even in your valley seasons, you can have the Lord’s joy. This joy is not dependent on your circumstances. Jesus is your joy, hope and peace. Pastor Lawrence read a testimony of Marcus’ miraculous healing from Alzheimer’s disease through partaking of the Holy Communion. This testimony is in Pastor Joseph Prince’s new book “Eat Your Way to Life and Health”. There are some diseases that medical science says are incurable—that’s a fact. But God’s word is the truth and God’s word says that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed. God’s will is revealed in His word. It is God’s will for every person to be healed, healthy, strong and to live a life full of energy and vigor. Jesus is perfect theology. When you see Jesus, you’ll know what God’s will is. Jesus is the Word and will of God. Jesus is the exact image of the invisible God. In the Greek, it means that Jesus is the exact representation of what God the Father is like. Don’t let people cheat you into believing that it’s God will for you to be sick. When Jesus was on earth, He went about doing good, destroying the works of the devil. One of the things He did most frequently was to heal the sick. He cleansed the lepers and even opened the eyes of the blind. God’s heart is for you to be healed and to be well. Exodus 15:26 - Yahweh revealed His name to the children of Israel. When He reveals His name, it’s because He wants you to know His heart for you. His name is Yahweh Rapha (Yahweh who heals you). You can have this assurance in your heart that He wants to heal you through His finished work at the cross. “and he said, “If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you.”” (Exodus 15:26 WEB) Even if something bad happens, God’s Grace is greater than what you did or did not do. Your faith shouldn’t be based on what you did or did not do. When bad things happen, don’t blame God and do not blame yourself. Instead of trying to find out why it happened, look for the solution—Jesus’ finished work at the cross. God’s provision through the cross is greater than any challenge you may face. Pastor Lawrence really believes the revelation of the Holy Communion is needed for this season. We should be immersing in Pastor Prince’s new book and receiving the revelations within. Pastor Lawrence wasn’t asked by anyone to say this—it’s his own opinion. The blood of Jesus Christ has cleansed us from every sin, so how can it be that we are made sick because of a sin that we committed many years ago?
