26 September 2021 - Enjoy Grace in the “Now” - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how to enjoy God’s freely flowing favors by living in the “now” where grace is present and available to us. Instead of being regretful of the past or worried about the future, we can enjoy the now. Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. The Lion and The Lamb - Leeland Mooring 2. In The Name - Lakewood Music 3. Glorious and Beautiful - New Creation Worship When we listen to sermons, we are sitting at Jesus’ feet and receiving His word. This is the one thing that is needful. If we walk by sight, there are many things that will make us feel despondent. Moral darkness will increase. People will call what is good as evil, and call what is evil, good. The Rapture is imminent. Jesus can return at anytime. After that, Jesus’ Second Coming happens at the end of the seven years of Tribulation. Matthew 24:6-8 - Even when we hear bad news in the world, we must see that we are not troubled. The Greek word for “troubled” is “merinao” which refers to a noisy riot in the mind. “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.” (Matthew 24:6-8 WEB) Acts 2:17 - God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh, even on non-believers. This glorious time is coming. “‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.” (Acts 2:17 WEB) Acts 2:20 - The Day of the Lord is the Second Coming of Jesus Christ which is at the end of the seven years of Tribulation. “The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.” (Acts 2:20 WEB) John 10:10 - Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. “The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.” (John 10:10 WEB)

19 September 2021 - Triumph Over Difficult Seasons - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence LimNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lawrence Lim taught us three important keys that help us to triumph over difficult seasons in life. No matter how dark the night may seem, dawn is coming, and your breakthrough is on the way! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Open My Eyes, That I May See - Clara H. Scott 2. As He Is So Are We - New Creation Worship 3. Only You - New Creation Worship Matthew 8:1-4 - One touch from God and your life will never be the same again. Our God is a healing God. He is our great physician—Yahweh Rapha. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. His will is always to heal. Leprosy was a dreaded disease. Jesus did not just heal the leper of the disease—He also healed the man’s emotions. It must have been a long time since the leper felt any human touch. Lepers were outcasts who were forbidden to come close to anyone who was not infected. “When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.” Jesus stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Jesus said to him, “See that you tell nobody, but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”” (Matthew 8:1-4 WEB) Matthew 18:20 - Jesus is here to meet you at the point of your need. He has the power to heal you and make you whole. “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”” (Matthew 18:20 WEB) We will inevitably go through difficult seasons, “the evil day”, in our lives. We can triumph over difficult seasons. You cannot pray for God to ‘take you home’ when it is God’s will for you to live. Romans 10:11 - Hold on to this verse in difficult seasons. “For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”” (Romans 10:11 WEB) Hebrews 6:12 - There are moments where our faith is challenged. This is the time to have patience. Never give up. Before the dawn, the night is dark. Your miracle is coming. “that you won’t be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance inherited the promises.” (Hebrews 6:12 WEB) Mark 4:5-17 - In Jesus’ parable of the sower, the seeds that were sown on stony ground could only endure for a short time. The devil’s plan is to steal God’s word from your heart because he knows that God’s word will blossom and bear fruit. When you start to hear and believe God’s word for a certain area in your life, you may face counterattacks which are the devil’s plan to steal that word from your heart. What do you do when such persecutions arise for the word’s sake? Never give up. Keep believing in it and be patient. “The ones by the road are the ones where the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately Satan comes, and takes away the word which has been sown in them. These in the same way are those who are sown on the rocky places, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with joy. They have no root in themselves, but are short-lived. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they stumble.” (Mark 4:15-17 WEB) John 10:10 - Jesus loves you. He will give you life so that you can have it abundantly. “The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” (John 10:10-11 WEB) God is not a respecter of persons. If He can heal someone, He can heal you too. 12 September 2021 - How to Wholly Follow The Lord - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lim Lian NeoNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lian taught us how we can make wholly following the Lord supernaturally natural. To change the vision we have in our heart, we must feed on and believe Jesus’ love for us! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Living Hope - Bethel Music 2. Trust In The Lord - New Creation Worship 3. You Alone - Don Harris Psalm 34:1 - It is good to start your day by blessing the Lord, and at all times. “I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.” (Psalms 34:1 WEB) Psalm 34:4 - Expect God to deliver you from all fears and troubles. “I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame. This poor man cried, and Yahweh heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.” (Psalms 34:4-6 WEB) Celebrate your victory in advance, even in the midst of your trouble. God wants the eyes of our heart to be flooded with His vision, and not to be afraid or troubled by what we see happening in the world. God wants us to step into what He is doing and we will experience new levels of blessedness this year. God wants us to stop the postponement of our life and to step into what He wants us to possessing. God’s people will not be wandering and wandering. We will be stepping in to possess what He wants us to possess. Joshua 14:13 - Caleb never forgot God’s promise to him. He reached out and possessed his possession. “Joshua blessed him; and he gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for an inheritance.” (Joshua 14:13 WEB) 5 September 2021 - Inward Rest Brings Holistic Success - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us about the importance of guarding our hearts from worry and being troubled. We will experience more wholeness, well-being, and success when we live out of an inward rest that comes from trusting Jesus. Slow down your pace of hurried-ness and enjoy the quality life God meant for you to live! Praise and Worship Song Performed: 1. Way Maker - Sinach 2. Trust in the Lord - New Creation Worship 3. Still - Hillsong Music Colossians 2:5 - We can still gather as a church for online services. We are not just physical creatures. God has ordained that we can walk in the spirit and live in the spirit. Pastor Prince sees the congregation in the spirit. “For though I am absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, rejoicing and seeing your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.” (Colossians 2:5 WEB) 2 Corinthians 4:18 - The things that are visible are temporal, whereas the invisible things are eternal. “while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18 WEB) 2 Peter 1:2 - Shalom peace is wholeness and well-being. Not just feeling calm in your emotions. “Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,” (2 Peter 1:2 WEB) Luke 10:38-42 - The word “anxious” here is merimnaó in Greek. It means to be divided into many parts and pulled in many different directions. Troubled here is “thorubeo” meaning a noisy uproar, upheaval, tumult. In Martha’s mind, there was a lot of noise trying to pull her in many different directions. Martha was worried and troubled because she did not do the one needful thing. Mary did not just listen to Jesus’ words. She also sat at His feet—a position of rest. “As they went on their way, he entered into a certain village, and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. She had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet, and heard his word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she came up to him, and said, “Lord, don’t you care that my sister left me to serve alone? Ask her therefore to help me.” Jesus answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is needed. Mary has chosen the good part, which will not be taken away from her.”” (Luke 10:38-42 WEB) Hebrews 4:11 - For a believer today, the promised land is to enter God’s rest. Rest is the posture of faith and trusting in God. God told Pastor Prince that He wants to heal us of a sickness called “hurry”. “Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.” (Hebrews 4:11 WEB) God is allowing the world to go through this pandemic so that we can learn how to slow down our pace of life. |
