29 August 2021 - Receive the Love and Power of God - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us about the peace offering and how we can receive God’s love and power through this revelation. 1 Corinthians 1:23 - The world cannot understand how Jesus’ death at the cross can help them. It is not logical to them. However, work of the cross exists outside time and space. It is both the power and wisdom of God. God leads us by our intuition which is in the timeless realm. Even though you do not understand everything yet, you can still follow the Holy Spirit’s prompting. “but we preach Christ crucified; a stumbling block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:23-24 WEB) Galatians 5:16 - Be led by the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16 WEB) The peace offering (“shelamim”: the plural of peace) does not atone for sins. It is the sin offering and burnt offering that make atonement for sins. The peace offering is for thanksgiving after experiencing God’s blessing. Jesus died for our sins and He also carried our diseases. Shalom is all-encompassing wholeness in every part of your being and in your life. Romans 5:1 - The peace offering comes after the sin offering and burnt offering. Peace is not something you do, it is something to be received from God. The word “have” is “echomen” in Greek which means you have to actively receive this peace. “Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;” (Romans 5:1 WEB) John 14:27 - Jesus gave us His peace. The peace by which He worked miracles. This peace is not dependent on world events. You can enjoy that peace right now, even amidst challenges. Every time you catch yourself feeling troubled, tell yourself, “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.” (John 14:27 WEB) Matthew 11:30 - The way of a Christian is light and easy. “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”” (Matthew 11:30 WEB) Proverbs 11:35 - The way of an unbeliever is hard. “Good understanding wins favor; but the way of the unfaithful is hard.” (Proverbs 13:15 WEB) Sometimes when you need healing and you ask God for it, He may give you His wisdom. For example, He may lead you to cut down on sugar intake, and that will resolve the health condition. God knows exactly what is needed.

22 August 2021 - Righteousness First, Then Shalom Peace - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us about the burnt offering and how it relates to our ability to receive from God. The more you identify with Jesus and see yourself as the righteousness of God in Christ, the more you will experience His shalom in your life. Before receiving healing and wholeness, you must first have a revelation of how you are righteous in Christ. Praise and Worship Songs Performed: 1. Magnificent - Darlene Zschech 2. I See Grace - New Creation Worship 3. Yeshua - Jesus Image Worship The days ahead for a believer are days of good. The path of the righteous is like the shining sun, shining brighter and brighter until the perfect day. On that day when we see Jesus face to face, there will be no more death, sickness, or weakness. Look forward with hope. Have a positive expectation of good in your future. The days ahead of us are filled with greater health and favor. If you want to have good, keep your tongue from evil. Instead of speaking death, doom, and gloom like the world, we can speak by faith. Hebrew 4:11 - The children of Israel crossing from the wilderness to Israel represents entering rest. We have entered God’s rest through faith in Jesus. “Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.” (Hebrews 4:11 WEB) The calling that the Lord has given to Pastor Joseph Prince is to bring Jesus back to the church. Of all the things He could choose to do after resurrecting, Jesus chose to first dry Mary’s tears in front of the tomb. Psalm 56:8 - Every tear you shed is not forgotten before God. Jesus has come to heal the broken-hearted. “You count my wanderings. You put my tears into your bottle. Aren’t they in your book?” (Psalms 56:8 WEB) Proverbs 17:22 - A merry heart ministers health and wholeness to your whole body. “A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22 WEB) To the degree that you see Jesus in the Scriptures according to the Holy Spirit, you are able to receive that measure from God. Matthew 13:54-58 - The people of Nazareth got familiar with Jesus and only saw Him in the natural. Their unbelief made them unable to receive from Him. We look at Jesus in the Scriptures, not from a painting. The Holy Spirit paints Jesus in the canvas of our heart through giving us hazon visions. “Coming into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, “Where did this man get this wisdom, and these mighty works? Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother called Mary, and his brothers, James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? Aren’t all of his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all of these things?” They were offended by him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house.” He didn’t do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” (Matthew 13:54-58 WEB) Matthew 11:25 - Those who have childlike humility are able to easily receive revelations of Jesus. “At that time, Jesus answered, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants.” (Matthew 11:25 WEB) 15 August 2021 - New Creation Church Leadership Conference 2019 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes15/8/2021 15 August 2021 - New Creation Church Leadership Conference 2019 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince shared with pastors and leaders from all over the world about crucial leadership truths from God’s word. We are the end-time Benjamin generation who receive five times more than previous generations. Get ready to receive the manifested blessing and glorify Jesus! Praise and Worship Songs Performed: 1. God of Revival - Bethel Music 2. Stronger - New Creation Worship In a sermon, receive the rhema word for you amidst the multitude of words. Hearing God’s word is the one thing that is needed. The baby in Elizabeth’s womb jumped for joy when Mary spoke words. Speak, and that thing which has been lying still will jump alive again. Pastors tend to have a mentality of impatience towards God. They need to have a mentality that they are receiving supply from God, and not that they are always pouring out to others. Jesus rebuked Martha’s anxiety, not her busy-ness. When God calls a person’s name twice, like “Martha, Martha,” that person is loved and has been marked by God. Other examples: “Saul, Saul,” and “Samuel, Samuel.” Mary sat at Jesus’ feet and listened to Him. If we attend to this one thing needful, we can attend to the other things with the anointing and power of God. Which sister made Jesus feel like God? Mary, or Martha? Mary of course—the one who sat and received from Him. Yahweh of the Old Testament is Jesus of the New Testament. If you do not believe that Jesus is God, you are not born again. Why can Jesus sit down at the Father’s right hand? It is because our sins have been purged. Jesus is in Heaven today as man, representing us before God the Father. When God wants to assess you today, He looks at Jesus. If Jesus is accepted, you are accepted. Jesus is the Second Adam. Many people are bad receivers. They say things like, “No I do not deserve to receive this.” Yes, we all deserve Hell but we get Heaven. We all deserve defeat, but we get victory in Christ. That is God’s grace. At the conference, the goal is to learn to receive from God effectively, and then the serving Him will come out of what you have received from God. John was conscious of the Lord’s love for him. Those who receive God’s love the most, are those who serve the most. The name “John” means “God’s grace”. John the baptist’s father, Zechariah, did not believe in grace. Zechariah was made mute by the archangel. If you do not believe in grace, you will have nothing to share. God likely made Zechariah mute so that he would not sabotage things by speaking out of unbelief. The primary way to interpret the Scriptures is to expound the things concerning Jesus. This is what Jesus said to the two disciples on the road to Emmaus. “Foolishness” is due to ignorance and “slow to believe” is due to knowing and yet not believing. The cure to these two afflictions is to hear the things concerning Jesus Christ. The first thing is not to know yourself. It is to know Jesus. Not know your enemy, but know Jesus. 8 August 2021 - Righteous and Healed - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence Lim8/8/2021 8 August 2021 - Righteous and Healed - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence LimNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lawrence Lim taught us about the close association between knowing that you are forgiven of your sins, and walking in health and wholeness. Be conscious of how God has made you the righteousness of God in Christ, and you will walk out a life that glorifies Him! Praise and Worship Songs Performed: 1. In The Name - Lakewood Church 2. There’s Something About That Name - Gloria Gaither 3. Refuge - New Creation Worship John 10:10-11 - Jesus came to give us life. “The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” (John 10:10-11 WEB) John 11:25 - Jesus is the resurrection and the life. “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies.” (John 11:25 WEB) Just one touch from God and your life will never be the same. One word from God can transform your life forever. Pastor Lawrence has been in New Creation Church for the past twenty-five years. Romans 1:16 - The Gospel is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes. “For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.” (Romans 1:16 WEB) Mark 2:1-12 - At that time, the roof of the house was made of hay and straw. The moment Jesus released the word of healing, the man was healed and got up immediately. The scribes were right to think that only God can forgive sins. Jesus was indirectly declaring that He is God. Jesus Christ is God and He alone can forgive sins. The paralytic’s greatest need was to be healed, to be made whole. The first thing Jesus said to the paralytic was “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” This statement is easy to say, but hard to validate. However, if you say, “arise and walk,” it can be validated. It is therefore harder to say, “arise and walk”. Jesus has the power and willingness to heal us. There is a close association between forgiveness of sins and the ability to walk in health and wholeness. It is knowing that you are forgiven of all your sins that allows you to walk. Before you can walk, you must know that you are already seated with Christ in heavenly places. You are not just a pardoned sinner. You are the righteousness of God in Christ who is blessed with every spiritual blessing in Him. Knowing that you are forgiven precedes the ability to walk out a life that glorifies God. When you know that you are forgiven, any part of you that is weakened will be healed. “When he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was heard that he was in the house. Immediately many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even around the door; and he spoke the word to them. Four people came, carrying a paralytic to him. When they could not come near to him for the crowd, they removed the roof where he was. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on. Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” But there were some of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, “Why does this man speak blasphemies like that? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” Immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said to them, “Why do you reason these things in your hearts? Which is easier, to tell the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven;’ or to say, ‘Arise, and take up your bed, and walk?’ But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins” —he said to the paralytic— “I tell you, arise, take up your mat, and go to your house.” He arose, and immediately took up the mat, and went out in front of them all; so that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”” (Mark 2:1-12 WEB) Ephesians 1:7 - God has forgiven you of all your sins the moment you place your faith in Jesus Christ. The Greek word translated as “have” in this verse is in the tense that means your redemption is continuous and enduring. We cannot lose our forgiveness of sins. Forgive yourself because God has forgiven you. “in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,” (Ephesians 1:7 WEB) Psalm 103:11 - Our finite minds cannot comprehend the riches of God’s grace. “For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.” (Psalms 103:11 WEB) 1 Peter 2:14 - The colon in this verse means that the preceding statement is equivalent to the next statement, or that it explains what the latter statement means. Knowing that you have been made righteous in Christ is equivalent to being healed in your body. You must know that you are forgiven and that God is not holding your sins against you. “who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” (1 Peter 2:24 KJV) 2 Corinthians 5:21 - The moment you believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, healing springs forth and you receive life from God. “For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21 WEB) 1 August 2021 - The Third Day Generation - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince taught us that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years, and we are in the Lord’s third day. Jesus’ return is imminent, and even if He tarries, you can expect to live a long, healthy life. You will see God’s glory when you roll away the stone of the Ten Commandments from your life! Praise and Worship Songs Performed: 1. This Is Our God - New Creation Worship 2. In The Name - Lakewood Church 3. My King - New Creation Worship 4. As He Is So Are We - New Creation Worship When God gives the message to Pastor Prince each week, He emphasizes to him about sharing His love with the church. God wants us to know how much He loves us. Pastors are shepherds who are supposed to feed God’s sheep, not beat them. 1 John 5:16 - There is a certain kind of sin that causes years of life to be ‘chopped off’ from a person’s lifespan. You can pray for that person. “If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is a sin leading to death. I don’t say that he should make a request concerning this.” (1 John 5:16 WEB) 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 - The generation of believers who will be “alive and remaining” during the Rapture are those who have a revelation that allows them to keep death at bay. “For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” (I Thessalonians 4:15-17 NKJV) Pastor Prince believes that we are the generation that will see Jesus’ return while we are alive and remaining. Daniel 5:23 - God holds our breath in His hands. If God lifts His hand of protection, we would experience attacks from the enemy like sickness and death. “but have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before you, and you and your lords, your wives and your concubines, have drunk wine from them; and you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which don’t see, nor hear, nor know; and the God in whose hand your breath is, and whose are all your ways, you have not glorified.” (Daniel 5:23 WEB) Some people say that you should only teach what you have experienced. You should preach by revelation, not by experience. The apostle Paul did not experience the Rapture during his lifetime but he still taught on it. Psalm 90:9-11 - This does not mean that our lifespan is only supposed to be seventy to eighty years. The context is about the children of Israel who wandered in the wilderness under God’s wrath. “For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh. The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away. Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?” (Psalms 90:9-11 WEB) 2 Corinthians 3:6-9 - Before the Law was given, no one from the children of Israel died between Egypt and Mount Sinai. However, after the Law was given, people started dying. The Law is the ministry of death. The emphasis of the Law is man-focused. The Ten Commandments was the only part of the Law that was engraved on stones (in Greek: lithos). There was glory in the Law, but the glory of the New Covenant of Grace exceeds much more in glory. All believers are ministers. Be a minister of righteousness, not of condemnation. “who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.” (II Corinthians 3:6-9 NKJV) Acts 2:11 - The emphasis of Grace is God-focused. When you pray in tongues, you are praising God beyond the human vocabulary. When you pray in tongues, you edify yourself—your entire being. It even builds your body up. “Cretans and Arabians: we hear them speaking in our languages the mighty works of God!”” (Acts 2:11 WEB) Psalm 91:16 - God wants us to live long so that we can testify about Jesus. “I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.”” (Psalms 91:16 WEB) The Law was designed to cut short the lives of evildoers. The children of Israel boasted that they would do all that God commands them (even before hearing the commandments). Almost immediately after, they made and worshipped a golden calf. They did not intend to sin, but the Law stirred up the sin in their flesh. Three thousand people from the children of Israel died at the foot of Mount Sinai that day. Romans 10:4 - We are no longer under the Law, but under Grace. We are saved by believing in Jesus. “For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.”(Romans 10:4 WEB) The name “Methuselah” means “his death will bring”. He was the longest-living man (969 years). God designed it such that when Methuselah dies, the flood would come. People at that time lived long lives and they were not conscious of death. The Law was not yet given either. |
