DC's Justice League Movie 2017 Leading Cast:

Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne (The Batman)
Gal Gadot as Diana Prince (Wonder Woman)

Ezra Miller as Barry Allen (The Flash)
Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry (Aquaman)
Ray Fisher as Victor Stone (Cyborg)

1) Saving the world can’t be done alone. It takes a league.

Diana Prince
: People said the Age of Heroes would never come again.

Bruce Wayne: It has to. We don't have any more time!

Despite their strong abilities, none of the superheroes could save the world from the alien threat alone.

It took a joint effort by the team, all leveraging on each other’s strengths and powers to successfully stop Steppenwolf and the unity of the mother boxes from destroying the earth.

To accomplish great feats, it truly takes a team effort.

26 November 2017 - The Strength of the Lord is Upon the Weak and Insignificant of the Earth - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online

Where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, there He is in the midst of them.
Two is the smallest plurality.
We are not meant to live with just us and God. God’s dream is the church.

The longest chapter in the Book of Genesis is about the church - where the servant is looking for a bride for Isaac.

The church is not a building. The church is the people of God who believe in Jesus.
The church is the most successful organization in the universe.

God put Gold, silver and platinum out here on earth for the church.
The treasures are for God’s children.

God only corrects His own children. We correct our own children, not other’s children.

There’s nothing easier to do than looking. Just look to Jesus for all your needs, even in your marriage.

7 Reasons Why We Love Renting Cars for Our Vacations (Featuring Tabirai: A Japan Rental Car Booking Website)

You are reading: 7 Reasons Why We Love Renting Cars for Our Vacations (Featuring Tabirai: A Japan Rental Car Booking Website). My love Amilee Kang taking a selfie with her rental car. For many years already, whenever she can, she gets a rental car when vacationing overseas!

(Advertorial - Brought to you by Tabirai: A Japan Rental Car Booking Website)

Before our daughter Maeleth Sarah Goh was born, my love Amilee Kang and I went on 70 over vacations together in a span of 6 years!
We realised that we love renting cars while on vacation due to these 7 reasons:

1) It gives us the freedom and flexibility to go wherever we want and to decide our own schedule - especially since we love to sleep in and take our time while we’re on vacation!

2) We prefer driving a vehicle ourselves rather than putting our comfort and safety in someone else’s hands.

3) Now that we are traveling with a toddler, we need more space to store our things while on the road and we insist on having a baby car seat in the vehicle.

4) We love the experience of driving in different countries - it opens our eyes to the culture of the people there and it's also fun because it makes us feel like locals.

5) We can cover more distance and visit more places - all we need is to follow the GPS!

6) It's a good opportunity for us to drive the car of our dreams for a change at a much lower cost since it's short term.

7) We can go on mad shopping sprees without worrying about how we're going to transport everything back to the hotel!

Below is a photo of Amilee and I in a car we rented while on vacation in Sydney (All smiles because we had a rental car for the trip):

19 November 2017 - Jesus Heals and Gives you Strength When you have None - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online

Salvation from hell is a once and for all event in our lives. However, believing in God is a continuous thing we do -
we keep putting our trust in Him again and again.
Jesus is an ever-present Savior. He is saving us every day.
Jesus is our present tense Savior. He is a very present help in trouble.

The Lord Jesus is always at the point of your need.
However the presence of the need doesn’t mean that Jesus will respond to the need.
Sometimes people don’t want others to help them.
We have to invite Jesus into our situation so that He can help us.
Jesus becomes frustrated when He sees our need but cannot help us right away. It’s called the love of frustration.

Spiritual growth means increasingly seeing your flaws and also increasingly seeing the Savior’s love for you.

The Hebrew word for repentance is “Teshuva” which means “a return” - a return to God.
As we become more spiritually-matured, we don’t become more self-reliant - that is an abomination.
We should become even more reliant on God.

10 Toys to Keep Toddler Busy at Restaurant without Taking Out the iPad

10 Toys to Keep Toddler Busy at Restaurant without Taking Out the iPad

You are reading: 10 Toys to Keep Toddler Busy at Restaurant without Taking Out the iPad.
You are reading: 10 Toys to Keep Toddler Busy at Restaurant without Taking Out the iPad.

I understand the dilemma. When we bring our 21 month old daughter Maeleth Sarah Goh out to eat at a restaurant, she gets fidgety and wants to come out of her Baby Chair after she’s done with her food.

Since we give her home-cooked food before we eat the food that we order, that ends up being a situation whereby she’s done but we’ve not even started eating.

Sometimes, halfway through her meal she gets bored and rejects food.
That’s when we feel tempted to pull out the iPad and let her watch kids programmes on YouTube - they are educational and Mae learned lots of words as well as her alphabets and numbers through the engaging shows.
That’s the easy way out, but Mae likes to pull the screen really close to her and that’s bad for her eyes.

To counter this, we bring along some toys and items for her to play with so that we don’t have to resort to pulling out the iPad.
Let’s face it, when judgmental people see a toddler with eyes glued to the iPad, they tend to condemn the parents whether outrightly or silently in their hearts.
No one enjoys that feeling of being judged right?

In order for the toys to work as a good distraction for a long period of time in a restaurant, I feel that they must fulfill this set of criteria:

A) They must be fun for your toddler.

B) They must be portable and easy to bring out, taking up minimal space in the diaper bag.

C) They must be non-disruptive to other diners at the restaurant.

D) They must be safe, clean and non-toxic especially since it’s your toddler’s meal time.

E) They must be able to be engaging so that your toddler can be distracted for a long time.

F) They must be affordable (Under $25) - To ensure continued interest, they must be able to be set aside as toys that are only to be played while eating out at restaurants - they cannot be played with at home.

G) They must be educational and teach your toddler something new.

Using the criteria above, I compiled a list of toys to keep toddler busy at restaurant without taking out the iPad.
Enjoy it and I hope that some of them work well for your toddler!

Blogger Income Tax in Singapore and Proper Disclosure of Sponsored Posts: What I Learned at an Advertising Standards Authority of Singapore (ASAS) Seminar

Blogger Income Tax in Singapore and Proper Disclosure of Sponsored Posts: What I Learned at an Advertising Standards Authority of Singapore (ASAS) Seminar

As a blogger and social media influencer in Singapore who works with brands on sponsored posts and receives income for it, I want to be well-informed on the taxation and disclosure guidelines set by the authorities in Singapore.

When I received the invitation for the “Ethically Viral” Seminar organized by ASAS, I was excited!
This meant that I could finally sit down and get all my questions and concerns answered and sorted out.

Disclosure: This blog post is a summary of what I learned at the seminar and is in no way to be read as legal tax advice or as an official statement from ASAS or Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) in Singapore.
To get the most updated information, do refer directly to their websites or contact them for clarifications.

Without further ado, here are my notes on the seminar:

Proper Disclosure of Sponsored Posts

The key thing that the ASAS wants is proper disclosure when a post is sponsored.

It should be made reasonably obvious to consumers when a post is sponsored.

Use these four principles when crafting and posting sponsored posts:
Legal
Decent
Honest
Truthful

Building trust is the key to having success in social media advertising.

Statistics show that people’s trust in traditional media experienced the steepest decline and that owned Media is now as trusted as media as an institution.

In Singapore, online and social media are the main sources of news as compared to print media, TV, and radio.

Questions About Life that Make you Think: If Someone Died for You, How Would You Live after That? - A Daily Devotional to Meditate On

Questions About Life that Make you Think: If Someone Died for You, How Would You Live after That? - A Daily Devotional to Meditate On

Here's a Question About Life that Makes you Think: If Someone Died for You, How Would You Live after That? Hopefully this short story helps you to gain some insight of what you believe about our Lord Jesus Christ!
Here's a Question About Life that Makes you Think: If Someone Died for You, How Would You Live after That? Hopefully this short story helps you to gain some insight of what you believe about our Lord Jesus Christ!

Daily Devotional Bible Verses to Meditate on:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” (John‬ ‭15:13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” ‭‭(Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.” (‭‭I John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Think about someone important and close to you in your life: Imagine that you and that person are walking on a street one night and are unfortunately caught in the middle of a fire fight between two gangs.

While hurriedly looking for a place to hide, a bullet comes flying straight towards your heart, and the person who is important and close to you jumps out in its path, sacrificing for you.

As the bullet punctures a vital organ and the person you love and care for is bleeding profusely, you hear the person a speak these words weakly, "Don't worry about me. Go... you must live well."

With the last bit of strength, the person squeezes your hand reassuringly, and then that hand drops limply to the ground, motionless.

The gunfire intensifies, bullet shells are dropping to the ground on your left and right - their light, clinking sounds suddenly seems like bomb explosions to your ears.

As hot tears stream down your face, you lift your loved one's body by the armpits and drag it away carefully and protectively. You manage to escape the danger zone and are now safe.

12 November 2017 - With God Little Becomes Much - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online

Many people are afraid to let go because they think that they’ll drop into the abyss and there will be no one to catch them.
Don’t worry, when you let go, our Heavenly Father’s loving arms are outstretched and ready to catch you if you fall.

The Lord is speaking to Pastor Joseph Prince that it’s time to reach out to the young people - their hearts are a vacuum waiting to be filled by Jesus.

The fourth service in New Creation Church in Singapore may be converted into a youth service session.
Don't complain saying "This type of thing is for young people..." otherwise you'll grow old.

Pastor Joseph Prince has no problem with believers and even pastors having tattoos (from their past before they were saved).
He said for too long the devil has sent wolves in sheep’s clothing into the church.
It’s about time we have sheep in wolf’s clothing to go out into the world to get people saved.
He also added that he does not have a single tattoo on his body.

Eliminate the Fear of Watching Really Scary Horror Movies: Learn the Mental Trick That I’ll Teach my Daughter

Eliminate the Fear of Watching Really Scary Horror Movies: Learn the Mental Trick That I’ll Teach my Daughter

I remember those late nights as a kid when I would walk through the dark hallways to my parents’ bedroom to snuggle up with them in bed.
The air-conditioning would be on so I’d hide under the blanket to avoid the cold.
The TV would be on: sometimes it would be screening the news, sometimes a documentary, and sometimes, unfortunately, really scary horror movies.

As the terrifying scenes played on, the excessive gore, heart-stopping jump scares from ghosts and chilling screams from victims in the movie made deep impressions in my mind and heart.
On those nights where I chanced upon really scary horror movies in my parent’s room, I would kiss my parents goodnight and immediately feel a sense of foreboding: now I had to walk back through the dark hallways to get back to my own room.

Every flicker of light, every moving shadow, every weird sound in the night fueled my active imagination.
Was there a ghost behind me, in the corner of my eye waiting to kill me? I couldn’t stop the horrific imaginations.

It got worse when I was back in my bed. I would cower under the blanket as my safe haven, make sure that my toes were not sticking out from the end of it, and try not to imagine an ugly face staring at me from within the blanket.
I would try not to imagine a demon hiding under my bed waiting for me to fall asleep before crawling out to murder me.
After struggling to be at peace for a long time, I would fall asleep and most of those nights after watching really scary horror movies I would be attacked with nightmares.

I would try not to imagine a demon hiding under my bed waiting for me to fall asleep before crawling out to murder me. After struggling to be at peace for a long time, I would fall asleep and most of those nights after watching really scary horror movies I would be attacked with nightmares.

5 November 2017 - Rely on Relationship Instead of Methods - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online - Pastor Mark Ng Sermon Notes Online

Never pressurize yourself that you have to be the one to get your family and loved ones to church to be saved.
Learn to let go and trust God about this. You are not the Savior. Our Lord Jesus loves them more than you do.
Hold on to the promises of God that when one in a household is saved, it will lead to the whole household to be saved.

When you receive forgiveness from God you can then have the empowerment to forgive others.

It’s not what you know, but Who you know. It’s all about connections.
You are connected to the greatest Being - the God of the Universe.
For example, if you need a parking lot, pray and ask our Heavenly Father for a lot. You are well-connected!

Be conscious of the favor that you have with God, if not you will tend to wrongly depend on yourself.

Psalm 91:1 - Our God is the Most High and the Almighty. He wants to connect with us in the secret place.
To connect with us, He sent His only begotten Son to die for us.

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalms 91:1 NKJV)

The original plan of God is for Man to rest and enjoy His provision.

God didn’t say there will be no trials or tribulations. But He says that when they come, we can still be of good cheer.

I Peter 5:7 - It’s not about trying not to worry. It’s about focusing on how much God cares for you.
We have a relationship with God which allows Him to be for us.
Always come back to relationship, don’t depend on methods.

“casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” (I Peter 5:7 NKJV)
