25 December 2022 - Proofs of God’s Love For You - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince showed us from the Scriptures how we can know for sure that God loves us. Have a blessed Christmas! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Angels We Have Heard On High 2. Joy To The World 3. Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee 4. The First Noel 5. What Child Is This Boy Going 6. O Holy Night 7. To Believe 8. We Are The Reason 9. The Wind And Wave - New Creation Worship 10. O Come All Ye Faithful Matthew 1:18-19 - Jesus was born of a virgin. Medical research has now found that the baby does not receive any of his parents’ blood from the placenta. Jesus’ blood is sinless. “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.” (Matthew 1:18-19 WEBUS) Matthew 1:20 - Both Joseph and Mary came from the lineage of David. Jesus was born of the royal stock. “But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 1:20 WEBUS) Jesus was born King of the Jews—He was not only heir-apparent. Our sins were a barrier between us and God. Jesus came to save us from our sins. Matthew 1:23 - “Im” means “with us” and “El” means “mighty God” in Hebrew. Jesus is the mighty God with us. ““Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel,” which is, being interpreted, “God with us.”” (Matthew 1:23 WEBUS) God said to Adam that the day he eats of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, he would surely die. Death came in because Adam sinned. Nothing is more real than the spiritual. God who is a Spirit, brought forth the material world. Romans 8:31 - God is for us. Nothing can be against us. We can rest in God’s love as He is taking care of us. “What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 WEBUS)

18 December 2022 - Seek Christ And Receive His Love - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Mark NgNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Mark Ng preached a timely reminder for us not to seek individual breakthroughs, but to seek Christ. When we do that and rest in God’s love for us, all blessings will pursue us! Praise and worship songs performed: 1. Angels From The Realms Of Glory - James Montgomery 2. Beautiful Savior - Planetshakers 3. King Of Heaven - New Creation Worship 4. You Laid Aside Your Majesty - Noel Richards Be journey-focused, not destination focused. Enjoy the journey while you’re on the way to the destination. Stop and smell the roses. Stress comes from self-condemnation. Matthew 1:21 - Jesus was born to be our Savior to save us from our sins. “She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”” (Matthew 1:21 WEBUS) Romans 8:3 - Jesus has condemned sins (in Greek it is the noun “hamartia”) at the cross. “For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,” (Romans 8:3 WEBUS) Romans 6:6 - We must learn to awaken to the truth that we are the righteousness of God in Christ. We are a new creation in Christ. Our old man is no more. It was crucified with Jesus at the cross. We must believe this truth and not be steered by our feelings. God sees us as in Christ Jesus. We are hidden in Christ. “knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.” (Romans 6:6 WEBUS) 11 December 2022 - Prepare Your Heart For God’s Wealth Transfer - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon NotesNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Joseph Prince prophesied that there is a wealth transfer happening in these end times, and taught us how to prepare our hearts to receive and steward the wealth for God’s glory! God You’re So Good - Brett Younker 5. Supply - New Creation Worship Pastor Prince said the whole world is in a global recession right now and it’s going to get worse. Rest in the Father’s love and learn from Him how to prosper in times of famine. God’s people will come into prominence during times of famine. We demonstrate God’s ability to provide in the midst of darkness, not light. Genesis 41:33, 39-40 - This was the wisdom that God gave to Joseph during his time. ““Now therefore let Pharaoh look for a discreet and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt…Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Because God has shown you all of this, there is no one so discreet and wise as you. You shall be over my house. All my people will be ruled according to your word. Only in the throne I will be greater than you.”” (Genesis 41:33, 39-40 WEBUS) Genesis 13:3-4 - For Abram, the God-given wisdom was a coming back to where he fell from. Abram lied about Sarai only being his sister and he had to come clean about it. He then went back to the altar he made for the Lord. “He went on his journeys from the South as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai, to the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first. There Abram called on Yahweh’s name.” (Genesis 13:3-4 WEBUS) Genesis 12:10 - The famine during Abraham’s time was severe. Isaac was told to sow during the time of famine. Tithing seems to be putting money into dry ground, but it is actually good ground. “There was a famine in the land. Abram went down into Egypt to live as a foreigner there, for the famine was severe in the land.” (Genesis 12:10 WEBUS) Matthew 6:21 - Wherever you put your seed (money) in, your heart will follow. “for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21 WEBUS) Genesis 26:12-14 - Sow and you will reap a harvest. God is encouraging us that sowing will surely lead to a harvest. To the world, only they are allowed to prosper, but Christians should be poor. They will be jealous and criticize. “Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year one hundred times what he planted. Yahweh blessed him. The man grew great, and grew more and more until he became very great. He had possessions of flocks, possessions of herds, and a great household. The Philistines envied him.” (Genesis 26:12-14 WEBUS) Luke 6:38 - If Jesus didn’t want to encourage us to believe that when we give we will reap a harvest, then why would He describe it in such detail? “Running over” means much more than enough. You are blessed and empowered to be a blessing to others. ““Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you.”” (Luke 6:38 WEBUS) 2 Chronicles 26:5 - Seeking the Lord is linked to receiving prosperity. “He set himself to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the vision of God; and as long as he sought Yahweh, God made him prosper.” (2 Chronicles 26:5 WEBUS) 2 Corinthians 5:21 - We have become the righteousness of God in Christ. “For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21 WEBUS) James 5:16 -Our prayers are effective because we are righteous in Christ. “Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.” (James 5:16 WEBUS) 4 December 2022 - Filled With The Spirit As You Praise - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Pastor Lawrence LimNew Sermon Notes: Pastor Lawrence Lim taught us how to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit. When we praise the Lord, we receive power, wisdom, and the blessings of God! Praise and worship songs performed:
Ephesians 5:15-21 - We need to be careful about how we live our lives. The days are evil so we need to walk wisely. “Filled” is in the present passive imperative tense. The Amplified Bible translates it as “ever be filled with the Holy Spirit”. You can keep on being filled with the Holy Spirit when you sing praises to God. Give thanks in all things. God will make all things work together for our good. We praise God who is good, not our circumstances. When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive humility and wisdom. “Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore, don’t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.” (Ephesians 5:15-21 WEBUS) We can learn something from anyone and anything. Don’t feel entitled as though the world owes you anything. 1 Samuel 16:14-16 - Even the servants knew that anointed music has the power to drive away the evil spirit. “Now Yahweh’s Spirit departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from Yahweh troubled him. Saul’s servants said to him, “See now, an evil spirit from God troubles you. Let our Lord now command your servants who are in front of you to seek out a man who is a skillful player on the harp. Then when the evil spirit from God is on you, he will play with his hand, and you will be well.”” (1 Samuel 16:14-16 WEBUS) 1 Samuel 16:21-23 - Music is God’s gift to man. It can refresh you. God will impart wisdom to you when you are refreshed. “David came to Saul and stood before him. He loved him greatly; and he became his armor bearer. Saul sent to Jesse, saying, “Please let David stand before me, for he has found favor in my sight.” When the spirit from God was on Saul, David took the harp and played with his hand; so Saul was refreshed and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.” (1 Samuel 16:21-23 WEBUS) 2 Kings 3:9-19 - Elisha didn’t want to help Ahab because Ahab was evil. But for Jehoshaphat’s sake, he was willing to help. Elisha understood that when anointed music is played, the prophetic word of the Lord will come. “So the king of Israel went with the king of Judah and the king of Edom, and they marched for seven days along a circuitous route. There was no water for the army or for the animals that followed them. The king of Israel said, “Alas! For Yahweh has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab.” But Jehoshaphat said, “Isn’t there a prophet of Yahweh here, that we may inquire of Yahweh by him?” One of the king of Israel’s servants answered, “Elisha the son of Shaphat, who poured water on the hands of Elijah, is here.” Jehoshaphat said, “Yahweh’s word is with him.” So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him. Elisha said to the king of Israel, “What have I to do with you? Go to the prophets of your father, and to the prophets of your mother.” The king of Israel said to him, “No, for Yahweh has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab.” Elisha said, “As Yahweh of Armies lives, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I respect the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward you, nor see you. But now bring me a musician.” When the musician played, Yahweh’s hand came on him. He said, “Yahweh says, ‘Make this valley full of trenches.’ For Yahweh says, ‘You will not see wind, neither will you see rain, yet that valley will be filled with water, and you will drink, both you and your livestock and your other animals. This is an easy thing in Yahweh’s sight. He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand. You shall strike every fortified city and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all springs of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.’”” (2 Kings 3:9-19 WEBUS) |
