26 October 2014 - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes - Righteousness by Faith Through GraceThe degree of which you hate sickness is the same degree that you love your loved one being afflicted by it. God hates sin so much because He loves us so much. God is love, He is not a hater. By taking communion, we are receiving from God, not working for our blessings, healing, etc. We are justified while we are ungodly, we can't become godly by our own works. God sent His Son to die for our sins on the cross, so that we can become the righteousness of God. It is a divine exchange - our sins, for His righteousness. Imputing (Logizomai) - to put something that one owns, to another person's account. God exists outside of time. He created time. Jesus's blood avails outside of time because He is God. Hell is a place where the fire cannot be quenched and the worm cannot die. It is not figurative - hell really exists. A holy God cannot allow sinful man to enter His presence. He created man as holy, but by Adam and Eve's sin, man's holy nature became sinful. By receiving Jesus's righteousness and by imputing to Jesus our own sins, we can now enter God's presence. Love will always cost you. It is better to love and be hurt, than to never love at all. Luke 15:28-32 - Many believers are saved but are not living like a son of God. They behave like the prodigal son's brother. They have an impression that God is demanding. All that God has, is ours too. "“But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. So he answered and said to his father, ‘Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’ “And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’ ”" (Luke 15:28-32 NKJV) Take your eyes off your own works, achievements and service. Blessings come not by our works, but by the finished work at Calvary. When we love God, we abstain from sin not because we want to earn righteousness, but because we love Him and don't want to dishonor Him.

8 October 2014 - Reinhard Bonnke's School of Evangelism - Christ For All Nations - Day Three7/10/2014 8 October 2014 - Reinhard Bonnke's School of Evangelism - Christ For All Nations - Day ThreeReinhard Bonnke: Signs and Wonders ================================== The Old Testament and New Testament in the Bible are closely linked. We would never understand the whole truth of Christianity without the Old Testament. We Christians do not Hebrew-ize the New Testament, but we Christian-ize the Old Testament, just as Jesus, of whom we read in Luke 24:27. "And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself." (Luke 24:27 NKJV) Acts 1:8 - The Great Commission to us believers of all generations found in Acts. "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.ā" (Acts 1:8 NKJV) Matthew 3:11 - Jesus came to baptise us in the Holy Spirit and to empower us to do God's work. "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire." (Matthew 3:11 NKJV) Acts 2:1-4 - The wind of the Holy Spirit blows in first to blow out the ash and trash, before the fire comes. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, a sign of it is speaking in heavenly tongues. The tongue of fire connects to the tongue of flesh, giving us the power to preach. All believers can receive powerful anointing, and it is not a game of lottery. It is for ALL. "When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance." (Acts 2:1-4 NKJV) We are not copies of copies. We are originals from the Original Creator. Flies only land on a cold stove. Get on fire with the Holy Spirit and no dirty demon will dare to lay its finger on you. Our God is not a duplicator. He is a Creator. Every creation is an original. God's mind is too fertile to make copies. Do not wish for the anointing of another person. There is a fire with your own name on it. You will get the anointing that The Lord wants you to have. It will be unique. My flame bears my name! Whether our flame is big or small, we carry the same authority in the name of Jesus! Powerful analogy: A little traffic police lady can stop a mega huge truck with her sign, because her authority is in the entire state backing her up, not based on her own strength. John 14:16-17 - We don't have to plead Jesus and the Holy Spirit to come, because God never leaves you. Change your unscriptural prayer, and thank God for the lasting presence instead. Jesus Himself prays for us. "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever; the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you." (John 14:16-17 NKJV) With one flame, you have authority over every demon on earth. You don't need a new anointing - don't feel inadequate. You have everything you need! Our feelings fluctuate. The devils lies to us using words and feelings. Prayer for Presence: "Lord, I can't feel Your presence. But Your word says "You abide with me forever" and I appropriate Your presence by faith, in Jesus's name. Amen!" Don't go by the gauge of feelings, go by the gauge of the Word of God. The Holy Spirit is always fully present. No person appears in percentages. The Holy Spirit needs a temple to express Himself in this world. We are His temples. Every miracle of God is done by the Holy Spirit. If you are washed in the blood of Jesus, that is the only requirement to make us qualified to receive the glorious baptism of fire (The Holy Spirit). Our weaknesses do not repel the Holy Spirit. Our weaknesses attract the Holy Spirit! The gift of the Holy Spirit is a present, not a prize. ā We need power at the beginning of the marathon, in order to run the race successfully, not at the end of the marathon. Jesus qualifies us with His blood lovingly and freely. The Holy Spirit is already here. We gather unto Him. Faith is not begging and pleading. It is a matter of happily collecting what God already promised to you. He loves and wants to give it to you. Reinhard Bonnke, Daniel Kolenda, Peter Van Den Berg: Q&A Session ============================================================= The Holy Spirit makes the Word of God alive. Signs and wonders are pointing towards God, not to the saints. All glory must go to God. If we preach the original gospel, you will get the original results. When receiving the Holy Spirit, there is only one Source: Jesus Christ. When we lay hands on another believer, we form an eternal connection of which Source is Jesus, that runs from generation to generation. We are not healing evangelists, we are salvation evangelists. But we do pray for the sick. After prayer, the ones prayed for are asked to check themselves to see the results of prayer. To confirm a healing testimony, ask a relative with the healed person to both share and verify the story. If someone is not healed, don't make it look as though they are healed. Pray again instead. Jesus never fails! When God speaks to you, it may seem like a thought that was never in your mind suddenly appears in there. Sometimes we have to wait for God's answer because it doesn't always come immediately. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are all supernatural. We are not restricted to only one gift of the Holy Spirit. Different gifts arise during different times of need. We can serve in all different cultures. But first, we must cast the devil out. Never forget that our main aim as an evangelist is to break chains, not to split hairs. Jesus spoke more about hell than heaven. He did that because He loves us and wants to warn us, not because He wants to threaten us. We learn by contrast. People will not know what light is if they don't know what darkness is. The call of God is not just limited to pastoral, evangelical, etc. roles. The call of God on Holy Spirit-filled believers requires sacrifice. The Kingdom of God has two problems: how to find the right co-workers, and how to get rid of the wrong ones. A family should pray together and stay together, by the grace of God. If your family, father or mother rejects you, Jesus will never reject you. Follow Jesus! He will follow you too. All power is from Jesus, not us. We must never exalt ourselves, but instead give all the glory to God. The Holy Spirit keeps us going for God. He gives us power and strength. We rely on His supply. The power switch in the ministry is FAITH. Fasting is for us to draw closer to God, not for power. Move in faith, and power will flow. If God has not spoken, it is presumptuous to act. If God has spoken, it is presumptuous not to act. If God has spoken, He will be faithful to honor His word. Angels do not move slowly, they are more than lightning-fast! CFAN wants to see people saved, made into disciples and put into churches. Start preaching and evangelising on a small scale. The Lord will honor it and will honor you. He will bless you and He is the Lifter of your head. Daniel Kolenda: Integrity ====================== Asia is a massive end-times harvest field. For there to be a harvest, there has to be harvest-workers. God is raising us up and it is our great privilege to be part of history and to bring Him glory. There is no greater calling than being called by God to preach the gospel. 2 Samuel 23:11-12 - Shammah understood warfare. He understood that the battle was not a random one, but it was probably strategic. We fight the battles, and The Lord gives us the victories. "And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. The Philistines had gathered together into a troop where there was a piece of ground full of lentils. So the people fled from the Philistines. But he stationed himself in the middle of the field, defended it, and killed the Philistines. So the LORD brought about a great victory." (II Samuel 23:11-12 NKJV) God has called us, and He wants to fill us, equip us, and to use us for His glory! The devil also has a plan for our lives - to steal, to kill and to destroy what we have, and to make us unfruitful. To protect us from the devil, we have to guard our integrity. What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? We need to keep our integrity, to be great ambassadors of Christ. Better is the end of a thing, than the beginning thereof. It's much better to end well than to start well. When the devil comes to assault your life, he will not begin by attacking the area of your life that you're very careful to guard. He looks for an area of your life that you feel is not so important and that you compromise in. He will take that area of your life and establish a stronghold there, and use that as a strategic point to attack all areas of your life. Integrity means watching over the small things in your life, even as much as you watch over the big things in your life. Instead of living our lives by seeing how we near we could come to the cliff of sin without falling over, we should live our lives on a totally different standard. By deciding to serve The Lord in the public arena, we have to decide to sacrifice some things and freedoms in our life, for the sake of the call on some our lives to be ministers of the gospel. We have no rights. We are not our own, we were bought with a price by the blood of Jesus. We should be constantly looking to raise our standards, especially for us who have been called to be ministers of the gospel. Suzanna Wesley: "When considering what is lawful or unlawful to you, this is the rule: Whatever weakens your reason, whatever impairs the tenderness of your conscience, whatever obscures your relationship with God, whatever takes away the relish of spiritual things, that to you, is sin." Job 27:3-6 - We cannot live a life of integrity by accident. It has to be decided and then fought for and guarded. "As long as my breath is in me, And the breath of God in my nostrils, My lips will not speak wickedness, Nor my tongue utter deceit. Far be it from me That I should say you are right; Till I die I will not put away my integrity from me. My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go; My heart shall not reproach me as long as I live." (Job 27:3-6 NKJV) Having integrity means doing the right things even if you have to stand alone. Having integrity means doing the right things even when nobody is watching. Luke 12:2 - Character is being the same person even when no one is watching. The opposite is hypocrisy. "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops." (Luke 12:2-3 NKJV) Psalms 14:1 - How you live when you are alone shows what you really believe. Many believers lives as though there is no God. "The fool has said in his heart, ā There is no God.ā They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good." (Psalms 14:1 NKJV) A seed planted in the ground will grow and eventually seen. Sin often begins as a little pet, and as it is fed, it grows bigger and hungrier, and in the end it becomes a monster that will overpower you and kill you. A big sin begins by small compromises here and there that accumulate over time. The devil is very patient. Either the devil destroys you through the stronghold he has erected, or you destroy the stronghold first. Psalms 37:37-38 - We must pray to God to help us mind in the beginning, what happens at the end. What is your "ultimate end" (Hebrew word; Akarit) if you carry on doing what you are doing now? "Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off." (Psalms 37:37-38 NKJV) What makes a man is something you don't see. Ephesians 4:1 - We are called to walk worthily in God's calling on our lives! "I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called," (Ephesians 4:1 NKJV) Dr. Chauncey Crandall (Cardiologist): Prayer and Intercession ================================================== Most believers have given their hearts to Jesus, but not all have given their lives to Him. 1 Timothy 2 - We must pray for all kings, nations and people because we have the power of God inside us. "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time," (I Timothy 2:1-6 NKJV) When will we decide to give our lives to Jesus? As a believer, there's always more to learn if we enter into the fullness of Christ. As a believer, we should not live by sight, by hearing, or by feelings, but by the Word of God. We fight a spiritual battle, and our enemies are not of flesh and blood, but of darkness in high places. An instruction from God to Dr. Chauncey: Pray to receive people with the most difficult personalities at your work so that you can see the glory of the Lord. The devil likes to put roadblocks to prevent your loved ones and friends from receiving salvation. You need to push through boldly in prayer. For believers working in the secular world, God wants to bless and elevate us to achieve the highest levels so that we are a person of influence in the community. Then Holy Spirit takes over and leads to salvations. If we lead someone to Jesus, we need to connect them to a church to ensure that they grow in the Lord. Intercession Prayer Model: Praise the Lord first, then pray for your needs, then praise the Lord again for self-rejuvenation. Luke 5:2-8 - When nets break, it means that things and resources are lost forever, opportunities are lost, and even souls are lost. It shows unpreparedness to handle God's blessings. The devil aims to bring division so that he can cause your nets to break. Peter did not obey Jesus. He only let down a net, when Jesus asked to let down the nets. Selective obedience, partial obedience, delayed obedience are still disobedience. "and saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets. Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”" (Luke 5:2-8 NKJV) John 21:1-14 - The Lord wants us to be united to prevent our nets from breaking. Bring your nets to Jesus, and they will never break. "After these things Jesus showed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias, and in this way He showed Himself: Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We are going with you also.” They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing. But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. Then Jesus said to them, “Children, have you any food?” They answered Him, “No.” And He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some. ” So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea. But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from land, but about two hundred cubits), dragging the net with fish. Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread. Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.” Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken. Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, “Who are You?”—knowing that it was the Lord. Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish. This is now the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead." (John 21:1-14 NKJV) Mediocrity is a safe place to be in your life, but success is dangerous. If you think the devil is trying to get you now, wait till you are on the world stage. We don't just want fruit, we want fruit that remains. In Luke 5:2-8, the disciples are in different boats (divided), whereas in John 21:1-14 the disciples were in the same boat (united). Matthew 5:23-24 - Jesus puts huge emphasis on the importance of our relationships with others and united among the brethren. "Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift." (Matthew 5:23-24 NKJV) Ephesians 6:11-18 - The 'physical' armor pieces of God are front-facing. The prayers of the saints are each other's rear guards. By prayer and supplications, we protect the body of Christ. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—" (Ephesians 6:11-18 NKJV) The pastors and evangelists cannot afford to work separately. They must be working together to achieve mighty feats for God. We must work together with our gifts, and God puts us together so that we all share in the reward together. It is not meant to be done alone. Many people feel threatened and jealous by people different from us. Ephesians 4:7-16 - The spiritual gifts are each different aspects of Jesus. Jesus divided up His ministry, and distributed it to different people so that we as the body of believers would work together. Together with all our gifts, the body of believers can become the measure of the stature o the fullness of Christ. We are each given grace according to the measure of our gift. Grace is the battery (the enabling) that makes our gifts operate. "But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.” (Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.) And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love." (Ephesians 4:7-16 NKJV) Many people don't understand how our gifts are possible in our lives, because they don't understand that the measure of grace is given to us to fulfill God's calling. For a pastor: Link with other people who have different gifts, connect their gifts with their church, so that the flock can benefit from a higher percentage of gifts and grace. When we partner with other believers with different gifts, we become partakers of the grace given to them as well. Whenever we try to operate outside of our gift, we will find that it is torturous. Paul had the gift of celibacy, therefore He was also given the grace for that. The Roman Catholic Church forces all priests to take an oath of celibacy. That is a recipe for disaster because not all have been given the grace for that. I Timothy 4:1-5 - What do you think that everybody should be doing? That's probably what God has called you to do. Realise that everyone has been called to do different things, and stop forcing them to do only one thing. "Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer." (I Timothy 4:1-5 NKJV) God's desire is to raise us up into the fullness of our individual gifting, not to become perfect carbon copies of another anointed believer. We need to fill the fullness of our own shoes, not the shoes of another person. John and Peter had very different personalities. But in John 21, a large portion of the account had Peter's name mentioned in it. John recognised himself as "the Disciple that Jesus loved" - in that place, there is no competitiveness because he knows the love Jesus has for him. He is free to give the honor and exaltation to others because he is confident in Jesus's love for him. Obedience is what God wants from our lives. If God has not given new instructions, keep doing what He told you before. It means that the instructions have not changed. Point people to Jesus and we will never go wrong. John 21:15-19 - We preach the gospel to the lost and feed the saved because we love The Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus points to what we are importance to our lives, and asks us whether our love for Him is greater than our love for these. "So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.” He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.” This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, “Follow Me.”" (John 21:15-19 NKJV) We will always be successful if our love for Jesus is greater than our love for what else is important to us. Dr. Chauncey Crandall: The Miraculous in Christ ============================================= Genesis 1 - God spoke and it came into being. "Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light....Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”....Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.....Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.....Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years;.....Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.”......And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”.....Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so......Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”.....Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food." (Genesis 1:3, 6, 9, 11, 14, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29 NKJV) The Holy Spirit is always waiting for you to speak the word so that power will go forth. Don't be afraid of speak the word and praying for people. Romans 10:17 - By proclaiming the Word of God, we bring forth the Word in action. "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17 NKJV) Matthew 10:1, 7-8 - Jesus gave us authority in His name. When we are in a place, the kingdom of heaven is there too. As we speak boldly, the Holy Spirit does a mighty work. "And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease....And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." (Matthew 10:1, 7-8 NKJV) Everytime God calls us to do something, we must do it with an urgency. We can do God's work. We're all ordinary people with an extraordinary God. If we go to the frontline of the battle of humanity, Jesus will show up. If we go the distance, we will see the miraculous in action. We can pray for the duplication and multiplication of food (replace word with whatever you need) in Jesus's name. We must free ourselves of any baggage or grudges we hold against God. Do the work of The Lord. His peace will come over you. For those people working in the marketplace: The Lord has given us our people group. If we don't lead them into the kingdom of God, no one will. The prayers of the saints have been rising to God for thousands of years. God is waiting for a Christian who is willing to do His work. If we ignore the instruction of God, we will live in regret. Reinhard Bonnke: Impartation Night ================================== A spiritual transaction has to be made between at least two parties. Matthew 7:2, Mark 4:24-25, Luke 6:38 - We receive with the same measure as that which we give away. "For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you." (Matthew 7:2 NKJV) "Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”" (Mark 4:24-25 NKJV) "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”" (Luke 6:38 NKJV) When we give for good, we form a covenant link and partnership with the receiver. An evangelist going can pass on the mantle of anointing to an evangelist coming. It is like a baton of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible cannot be copyrighted for it belongs to the Author. Only to Him do the royalties belong. All glory to the God forever. We are not called to save money, we are called to save souls. We actually spend to save. Since Jesus gave us His all, how can we afford to be stingy? 2 Corinthians 6:11-13 - We are restricted only by our lack of openness to God in our hearts. "O Corinthians! We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open. You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections. Now in return for the same (I speak as to children), you also be open." (II Corinthians 6:11-13 NKJV) God only has one kind of fire - the Holy Spirit. It is an all-purpose Fire! Baptism means "Immersion", "to dip under". When Jesus dips you into the River of liquid Fire, the Fire goes into you - you will look like Fire, you will smell like Fire. Our whole personality and being will be saturated with the power of the Holy Spirit. Don't miss your flame just because of unbelief. It is possible to miss our Pentecost, and that is dangerous business. The gospel is not a questionnaire! We are not explainers, we are PROCLAIMERS! Proclaim God's Word and the Holy Spirit will come and make the Word alive. The baptism of fire is permanent, but it doesn't always feel permanent. We don't receive the Holy Spirit to drink coffee and eat cake. We receive it to run the race! God's power is made visible when we are in action. We don't need power to do nothing. Let's not get caught up in drops and be satisfied by it. We should expect to swim in His fullness. The fervent prayer of the righteous, avails much. With one touch from Jesus, blind eyes are open, cripples walk, the dead are raised. Grab the burning baton, follow Jesus and His word. His Fire never burns to consume us. That's why we will never burn out from it. I hope you were blessed by reading this post on "9 October 2014 - Reinhard Bonnke's School of Evangelism (Singapore) - Christ For All Nations - Day Four". Look for the person with the right temperature - ablaze with the fire of the Holy Spirit. The Word of God makes a man a prophet, not a mere pulpit performer. Understanding of the Word is vital. Our acceptance of the Word of God, the Bible, is not based on the consent of public opinion, the agreement of Scholars, or the voice of tradition, but on our individual contact with the Inspirer of the things written. "I'm acquainted with the author." There is no point in arguing that a telephone directory is a forgery if it provides me with all the right numbers. Every time I choose a number and dial it, I am getting connected. And every time I open the Bible, any page, I am getting through to the Throne of God. That is enough. It is more than proof. It turns into experience and a living relationship with The Lord. The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit, but only when we preach it. That is the apostolic secret to route the enemy. We do not provide prayer as a generic tranquilizer. We do not promote a pray-and-feel-calmer brand of meditation or hold classes in spiritual aerobics. The Church is a power pack for the nations, designed to put a dynamic charge into all life. God is not a mini-God. He is the God of heaven and earth. He presides over the eternal destiny of us all. Miracles are not just bicycle bells to attract attention. Miracles are an integral part of the gospel! We need to break the Bread of Life into edible pieces so that the listeners don't choke on it. Our preaching must be easily able to be received. The border to eternity is not ahead of us. It runs parallel to life. It can be stepped over by anyone, young or old. The Holy Spirit has only one obligation - to confirm the Word of God. Asking questions is okay, but don't make it a hobby! We are not here to deliver beautiful speeches. We are throwing out lifelines to produce salvation. The Holy Spirit is the Master Evangelist. He alone convicts of sin, righteousness and judgement. Parts of an Evangelistic Message: 1) Pointing out our sinfulness and our need for a Savior. All have fallen short of the glory of God. 2) Jesus died in our place, for our sins, and gave us His righteousness and His eternal life. John 8:2-12 - We should be preachers of the 'Neither do I condemn you' gospel, just like Jesus. "Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”" (John 8:2-12 NKJV) Nobody is beyond salvation. Everyone has the opportunity to receive salvation. Never trust a hypocrite, if even he comes in religious robes. Put your trust in Jesus. You need forgiveness for all your sins, whether big or small. The smallest sin is enough to take you to hell. We all need a Savior, and this Savior, is Jesus! God resists the proud. The Pharisees backed away from Jesus because of their pride, and missed their opportunity for eternal life and forgiveness. When preaching, go into the story, imagine and describe the details as vividly as possible. As evangelists, we are fishers of men. We need finely-meshed fishing nets. If we have holes in our messages, mend the holes so that the catch can be greater. We should not change to the temperature of the world. We need the fire of the Holy Spirit so that we can change the temperature of the world! Peter Van Den Berg: Follow Up and Partnering with the Local Church ===================================================== The three legs of ministry: 1) Holy Spirit Anointed Ministry, 2) Good Planning and Organisation, 3) Good Technical Backup. Don't just look for the same type of person like you when you form a ministry team. Look for those people who can do the jobs you need to be done. Jesus did not just ask for souls to be saved, but also for the saved to become disciples. The true measure of a successful evangelical crusade is: how many people saved at the crusade are in church in 6 months time? To build a relationship with local churches and pastors, build your credibility by holding crusades no matter how small or big. If you're good, those who have witnessed you in action will give a good report of your performance to other pastors and their networks. God has given you gifts and advantages to allow you to reach people that others can't. Be thankful with what He has given, and use them to bring people to Christ. Organise a crusade where and when the harvest fields are ripe for harvest. If you're effective in your crusades, you will face opposition. This is a battle, not a game. Todd White: Lifestyle Evangelism =========================== Everything we do is sanctified because we as believers are Holy Spirit-filled children of God. We are asked to be imitators of Christ. Always be in a place of humility and trembling before the Father. What are you doing with Jesus that you have in your heart? We are hidden in Christ. Christ is in us, the hope of glory! When we lay hands on people to pray for them, their sickness and disease cannot come onto us. We shouldn't be afraid of darkness when we have the true light. We receive honor from God, not from men. When you know the Comforter, we will put ourselves into uncomfortable situations so that He can show up. Without the Holy Spirit, head knowledge of the Word of God alone can make you puffed up and proud. The reason why we don't 'feel led' to love someone else is because we feel scared. Don't be afraid that people will feel offended by your sharing the gospel with them. Nothing can hurt us. Stop revisiting things that God had forgiven you of and already cleared from His records. If you can't see your self-worth in Christ, you can't love others. There is no secular and God separation. Your life should reflect your identity in Christ everywhere you go. We should see what God sees when we look at ourselves in the mirror. We should love who we are because we are valuable to God. That's confidence, not pride. Atheists believe that Christians can't handle life and use Jesus as a crutch. Christianity should not be only a confession in your mouth, but it should be an expression of your entire life. The fear of man prevents many Christians from realising their full potential in Christ. Christianity is a lifestyle. Do people see Jesus in you? Jesus did not come to give us a better day. He came to give us a brand new life and a brand new purpose. When we are fully-focused on a mission, our bodies are full of light. When we are distracted, we are full of darkness. Those who are forgiven much, love much. Fill your mind with things that God says about you, not what the world says about you. Give your life to Jesus, not because you want something out of it, but because it is the only reasonable thing to do. We didn't choose Jesus, Jesus chose us. Don't allow people to tell you what your value is. Their souls are in a mess, they have no right to tell you who you are. Resistance to the devil is found in your submission to God. We can be a good father after we experience the love of our Heavenly Father. No matter how bad you think somebody is, once God touches them, they can be totally transformed. We can save others from their troubles if we saw our own value in Christ, because we would show that to them. You cannot curse what God has blessed. If God is for us, who can be against us? Our value is found is realising the true value of the blood of Jesus Christ. Heaven went bankrupt to get us back into God's kingdom when it gave Jesus up at the cross. The only thing stopping us from living Lifestyle Evangelism is ourselves. God will not hold Himself back. When you cease from striving, you will enter into the true rest found in Jesus and all things will be done for you as a by-product. As a Lifestyle Evangelist, We get to travel the world and love people for a living. Colossians 3:17 - Do everything in the name of Jesus. "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." (Colossians 3:17 NKJV) The Bible is not designed for your brain, it is designed for your heart (spirit-man). Your heart can take you places where your brain can't fit. Do not sacrifice truth just for being culturally-relevant. Complaining, gossiping and criticism is the language of hell. Don't be involved in it. Romans 14:17 - The kingdom of God in found in the Holy Spirit. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. "for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." (Romans 14:17 NKJV) Grace comes to the humble. We must only exalt the Father in heaven, not ourselves. By denying ourselves and abandoning ourselves to Jesus, God gives us honor and it glorifies Him. John 5:31-47 - Religion deprives people from being set free by the truth, in order to receive honor from men. "“If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true. There is another who bears witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true. You have sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth. Yet I do not receive testimony from man, but I say these things that you may be saved. He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light. But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life. “I do not receive honor from men. But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you—Moses, in whom you trust. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”" (John 5:31-47 NKJV/) God loves people much more than their unbelief of that. People who are in unbelief can still be healed by God. It's God's good pleasure to give us the kingdom. We are sons and daughters of an awesome Dad! Teresia Wairimu: Accompanying Signs ============================== We are not living a fairytale, but we live in a Holy Spirit tale. Before we can do God's work, we must know who we are in Christ. Desperate people do desperate things when they know exactly what they want. Refuse to fear. The devil should fear us believers. Pray for the sick and lay hands on them and they will be healed. This is a command to us believers. When people see the supernatural manifestation of God, they will start attempting to do it too. Things that look impossible with man, are all possible with God. Anything that has a name has to bow in the name of Jesus. God is able to do for us exceeding and abundantly above anything we can think, ask or imagine. Miracles must accompany the gospel. Sometimes when you pray for someone's healing and nothing seems to have happened, the person may wake up in the morning and find themselves healed! An anointing is a tool for doing God's work. Anointing is not a trophy of accomplishment. We better do what God has called us to do, if not, God has prepared a better substitute to replace us in His plan! You cannot substitute true repentance in the mind and heart with the act of baptism in water. Preach the gospel the way it is. Call sin, sin. Don't compromise on the gospel. "And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15 NKJV) God is able to shrink time. Reinhard Bonnke's vision: To allow everyone to see their possibilities in God; To have hell empty and heaven full! Jesus is the lifter of our heads and the Holy Spirit is the enabler. Connect with God's plans because they never fail. We need to press into the promises of God if we want the maximum extent of His blessings. Those who press through will make it! Jesus itches to do great things! He is the God of the gospel. God has no maximum. We need to stop with our littleness and get going for God! We are co-laborers with God. God's word in our mouth is as powerful as God's word in His mouth! Don't be afraid that when you pray nothing happens. Be bold and obedient to God's instructions. Don't plan with what you have in your pocket, plan with what He has in His pockets! God always pays for what He orders. The Acts of the apostles are just a sampling of the new possibilities that God can do by the Holy Spirit. He doesn't limit us! Hell is a reality, but "Jesus saves!" is the high note of the gospel. Peter Van Der Berg: Crusade Organising =================================== Successful Crusades comes by Three Parts: 1) Holy Spirit Anointed Ministry, 2) Good Planning and Organisation, 3) Good Technical Backup, *(The fourth part: Fund-raising)* The devil gets a lot of credit for our own stupidity. Begin by praying and waiting on the Holy Spirit for directions. Evangelism that does not lead into the local church is nonsense. Make contact with local churches and build relationships with them. 21 local pastors for the working committee - 1 chairman,1 vice-chairman and 19 pastors to lead the respective roles. Get 1 director to oversee the whole process of preparing the crusade locally. Select the director by observing their performance from previous events or background. It's better to delay the crusade than to have a lousy director that leads to a terrible event (that's not God-honoring). Some criteria: meek, executive-level, good interpersonal skills, ready-to-travel a lot, accepts a sensible salary. Get professional support for your technical backup. Get help in organising your crusade. Christianity is a teamwork thing, not a one-man show. When getting help, look for the most successful, influential brothers/sisters you know. Find people for the jobs, not jobs for the people. Get local praise and worship talents to do praise and worship for the crusade. They will understand the local culture better. Open the crusade to as wide as possible audience, but select the right churches. Beware of heretics - only invite those that allow new converts to grow. Build a widespread, great reputation that "people who attend your crusades will get saved.". Teresia Wairimu: Prayer of Authority and Healing =========================================== We communicate with God through prayer. Prayer is a key weapon to defeat evil and bring great moves of God. Prayer is the key that shuts and opens doors. Faith and prayer go together. We must mix faith into our prayers. God can raise the dead. We need to command the mountains in our lives to move. When you cry to God, God responds. Involve God in our business before we even get started on it, and not wait until we are stuck or in trouble. Inquire from God before taking action. Have a powerful intercessory team to prayer for your needs. God answers prayers and wants us to seek Him. Prayer make us dependent on God. Prayer takes discipline. We must take time off to pray. God is looking for people who seek Him so that He can be found. There is nothing that matches to being in the presence of God. The enemy has no new language: only intimidation and fear. Confrontation is part of the gospel. The Kingdom of God is to be taken by force. If you're going for a confrontation with the enemy, make sure that you pray yourself through. Jeremiah 51:20 - We are God's axes. We're not just called to destroy strongholds but also to build His kingdom. “You are My battle-ax and weapons of war: For with you I will break the nation in pieces; With you I will destroy kingdoms;" (Jeremiah 51:20 NKJV) Ministry is not a sprint. It is a life-long marathon. Keep in prayer. We are called to pray without ceasing. Pray anywhere because we don't owe anyone any apology. We need to teach our leaders to know God, for to fear God is the beginning of understanding and wisdom. What comes easily can go easily too. We must maintain it by praying. Luke 22:39-40 - Jesus had a custom of praying regularly at the Mount of Olives. "Coming out, He went to the Mount of Olives, as He was accustomed, and His disciples also followed Him. When He came to the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”" (Luke 22:39-40 NKJV) Acts 12:1-4 - James was killed by King Herod. Peter was rescued by the prayers of the church. They took it on themselves to pray for his deliverance. "Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover." (Acts 12:1-4 NKJV) When it seems like you're trapped by the enemy, prayer is the key to exit from that trial. Prayer is your way out! The Holy Spirit prays and intercedes for us. We need to know how the Holy Spirit speaks to us - He convicts us, He encourages us and empower us. When people realise that prayer is power, they will come for prayer meetings. Acts 16-16-17: - Never be impressed that the devil knows who you are, and even Bible verses. "Now it happened, as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much profit by fortune-telling. This girl followed Paul and us, and cried out, saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.”" (Acts 16:16-17 NKJV) We cannot afford to be fearful. Out in the battlefield, we will meet all kinds of people, demons and situations. Acts 16:25-26 - Prayer and Worship changed the negative situation that Paul and Silas were in. "But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed." (Acts 16:25-26 NKJV) Foundations will be shaken, God will release an outpouring of His Spirit, and prison doors will be open! I hope you were blessed by reading this post on "6 October 2014 - Reinhard Bonnke's School of Evangelism (Singapore) - Christ For All Nations - Day One ".
