What is impossible with man is possible with God. The Holy Spirit is omnipotent and omnipresent. It is the same Holy Spirit everywhere in the world. God has many body parts in heaven and He can give you a new one if yours is faulty. You don't have to be special, or better than other believers - It is given by grace. Pastor Joseph Prince prophesying: "You're my Healing Jesus, the Son of righteousness, who refreshes and renews me, for such a time as this." There is no distance or time in the Holy Spirit. The same anointing present in this service is present when you listen to it via broadcast or by MP3. We are now in the Year of Jubilee. God proclaims it. Back then it was proclaimed by the ram's horn - the ram's horn is taken from the ram after it is killed. Sounding the ram's horn proclaims the death of the Lamb of God. Jesus has every right to live but He chose to become a curse and to die for us so that we can enjoy every blessing from God. We don't deserve all the blessings, but the best thing we can do to honor what Jesus did is to receive the blessings with humility. Jubilee means freedom - whether you are a devoted believer or not. It's got nothing to do with what or who you are, but it's got everything to do with Who and What God is. The Prime Minister of Israel came to Singapore last week and there was a fire rainbow in the sky that day, which appears to have a "77" in it. 7 is the number of perfect and rest in the Bible. The first time 7 appears in the Bible is when God finished His work of creation and He rested on the seventh day. John 16:14 - The Holy Spirit is the Third Person of the Divine Triune-Godhead. The Holy Spirit came not to glorify Himself but to glorify Jesus. The Holy Spirit's primary role is to glorify Jesus. The Holy Spirit is not in us to convict us of our sins. He convicts the unsaved world of their sins, but not for believers. There is correction with the Holy Spirit, but His primary role is still to glorify Jesus. “He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.” (John 16:14 NKJV)

It is the most powerful, eternal body that Jesus died to redeem. This world is going on in a way that God never meant it to go. Why did God allow evil in this world? It is because God didn't want to create robots. He gave us free choice. If we were all robots, it would be a beautiful world, but it would be very cold. There would be no love. The thing about free choice is that you can't take away the negative consequences. If you choose to put your hand in the fire, you will get burnt. When the Lord is in charge, this world will become paradise on earth. The wolf will lie down with the lamb. The children will play at the serpent's nest and not be hurt. The gift of the working of miracles is one of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is the working of any miracle that is not healing. When the gift of the working of miracles happens, you will have the faith in you to do it - you will just know that you KNOW that you know. Romans 7:4-5 - Nothing can be more final than dead. Dead means you're incapable of responding to the Law. The Book of Romans is the magna carta of what the gospel is. It deals with justification by faith. Only when you're dead to the Law and married to Jesus, then only can you bear fruit to God. When you're under the Law, the sinful passions in you are aroused by the Law. When you see an outbreak of sin, it usually happens in people who think they can keep the Law. The more they try, the more the Law proves that they cannot keep the Law. The flesh is never more subtle than when it is religious. The strength of sin is the Law. The spring of holiness is grace. “Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death.” (Romans 7:4-5 NKJV) On the day that God gave the Law on Mount Sinai, 3000 people died. The Feast on that day was the first Pentecost. On the day of Pentecost that the Holy Spirit came, 3000 people were saved. The letter kills but the Spirit gives life. Romans 8:2 - Chronic tiredness is sickness begun, and sickness is death begun. We have been set free from the Law of sin and death. Do you find that having a memorable first birthday celebration is important? To my love Amilee Kang and I, our baby girl Maeleth's 1 year old birthday is a big milestone to us! That's why we decided to make it a day to remember, to go big on it. Our mindset is "She's only 1 years old once. Let's just do a good one." Next year we'll probably just run away and bring her overseas for her birthday maybe, haha. Praise Jesus for He blessed us with some awesome sponsors that really helped to make the big day memorable! I will be focusing on sharing about point 1 in this post which is "Beautiful Party Decorations" as I feel that this aspect of Maeleth's first birthday celebration was the one that elevated it to a memorable and fun experience. 
The Star Loft is located on level 11 at The Star Vista (nearest MRT station is Buona Vista). The space is quite big, and it can fit a maximum of 144 party guests. For a banquet setting, it can fit a maximum of 11 banquet tables with 10 guests per table (total 110 seated guests) in the main event room.

We are not out to please the world, we are out to please God. In heaven today - the greatest and highest spot in the universe, at the Father's right hand - there is a Man. One of us made it! Jesus can understand our weaknesses because He is also fully Man. Jesus is as much as a Man as we are, but we are not as much as a man as He is. The devil today is bruised and battered because of this Man, Jesus. The Holy Spirit's spiritual gifts are greater than any gift that man can give you. The word "gift" is "Charisma" in Greek which means "grace gift". Receiving this gift is not by your works or efforts but it is by grace. God doesn't pour His gifts out by a jar - He pours it out by His entire throne room! There are 39 books in the Old Testament. First there are 17 historical books. In the middle there are 5 poetical books. After that there are another 17 books. 17 is the number of victory in the Bible. The message of the Book of Ecclesiastes is that man's heart is too big for this world. King Solomon wrote 1005 songs in his lifetime. There is one Song of Songs that God includes in the Bible. The message of Song of Songs is that our God is too big for our heart. Ecclesiastes is about the king who had the power to indulge in everything in this world. His conclusion: vanity of vanities. Everything without Jesus is empty. Everything with Jesus is prosperous. God could have just created us with one taste on our tongue, and we wouldn't know the difference. He gave us different tastes so that we could enjoy our food. Enjoyment is not from the devil. The devil perverts God's ways. God meant for enjoyment of sex and maximised sex within marriage, whereas the devil says that you must be like a bee going to many flowers. God doesn't find ways to curb your pleasure. No, in the presence of God is the fullness of joy. Who created flowers, puppies and adorable babies? God did. Everything you see that is beautiful is just a figment of what Jesus is. 5 February 2017 - Blessed On Grace-Ground and Dead to the Law - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes OnlineProverbs 12:27 - It is very easy as leaders in ministry to assume that you are feeding on the word that you are preaching. Preaching doesn't mean that you are meditating on God's word. Make sure that you feed and meditate on what you have preached. “The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, But diligence is man’s precious possession.” (Proverbs 12:27 NKJV) John 7:37-38 - You don't drink for others. You drink for yourself. Jesus said drink, not draw. When we drink well, the rivers of living water that flow out of you is for others. “On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”” (John 7:37-38 NKJV) Galatians 3:5 - "Supplies" and "works" in the verse is in the continuous present tense which means that God is constantly supplying the Spirit and working miracles. Knowing this puts you in the consciousness of grace - grace is all about supply, whereas the Law is all about demand. If you are Law-conscious, you will be very stressed out and anxious because you are conscious of all the demands placed on you. If you are like that, you are effectively under Law. Even if you have a busy day ahead, if you are supply-conscious, you will know that God's grace will supply what you need so that you can complete all the tasks. In this way you won't be stressed out! Jesus worked miracles among sinners - among prostitutes, tax collectors, etc. Sin cannot stop God's power in its tracks. You cannot psyche yourself out of fear. But you can hear your way out of fear by listening to the gospel of grace being preached! “Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—” (Galatians 3:5 NKJV) |
