17 January 2021 - How to See Hazon Visions - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes - New Creation Church Sermon Notes

Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how to receive and recognize hazon visions from God. When God speaks to you in picture form, be ready to receive it and activate the power that lies therein!

Hazon visions are prophetic visions from God. When God speaks to you in picture form—that’s a hazon vision.

The devil can also give visions to cause you to fear. The devil prophesies what he is about to do, but he is not omniscient.

John 16:13 - The Holy Spirit can show you the future.

“However when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming.” (John‬ ‭16:13‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Ephesians 1:16-20 - Pray this prayer daily.

“don’t cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him; having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might which he worked in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,” (Ephesians‬ ‭1:16-20‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

God can give visions to people from all stations of life, however, only a believer can interpret those dreams accurately.
God gave Nebuchadnezzar prophetic dreams, but only Daniel could interpret the dreams for him.
Godly wisdom is reserved for believers.

When believers don’t esteem dreams and visions, for fear of receiving false ones from the devil, he is blocking himself from his own inheritance in Christ.

John 7:37-39 - We have received the Holy Spirit inside us. He is the rivers of living water.

“Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink! He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.” But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn’t yet glorified.” (John‬ ‭7:37-39‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Acts 2:17 - God promises to pour out His Spirit, to give us dreams and visions in these last days.
Pictures from God you see in the day time are visions. Pictures you see at night while asleep are dreams.

“‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.” (Acts‬ ‭2:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Acts 11:28 - There are still New Testament prophets today. It is one of the five offices of the fivefold ministry.
When prophets prophesy something negative, there will be a solution for the problem.
However, when Satan gives a negative vision, he sends it to crush your spirit.
A hazon vision from God will always align with Scripture and never contradict it.

The prophet Samuel was the first one to be called a “seer”—he saw visions from the Lord.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 - Visions from God may not be fulfilled immediately, but they will happen promptly in their time.

“Yahweh answered me, “Write the vision, and make it plain on tablets, that he who runs may read it. For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.” (Habakkuk‬ ‭2:2-3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Pastor Joseph Prince taught us how to receive and recognize hazon visions from God. When God speaks to you in picture form, be ready to receive it and activate the power that lies therein!

Prophecies under the New Covenant of Grace are edifying, exhorting and comforting.

James 1:5-8 - You can bring out a notebook and ask God to speak to you.
You can ask for wisdom and all that you need from Him.
Have your pen ready and write/draw the visions that you see.
Visions will float up from within you.

“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” (James‬ ‭1:5-8‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

God always works with man’s will. He doesn’t override it.
Even when speaking in tongues, the Holy Spirit gives you the words first and you have to speak them forth by your own will.
Pastor Prince denounces “automatic writing” which is the occult method of emptying yourself and becoming totally passive to let an evil spirit take control of you to write what it wants to write.

When prophesying, don’t attempt to overstep your ‘pay grade’ unless you are called as a prophet.
Prophets can prophesy about world events and major things. This is by the anointing.
Without the anointing, if you try to do it, you will just fall flat on your face and the ‘vision’ you see will just not come to pass.

Acts 9:7 - Paul saw the bright light from the sky and the Lord Jesus but those around him saw no one.

“The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one.” (Acts‬ ‭9:7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Corinthians 14:3 - New Testament prophecies are edifying, exhorting and consoling. Even if the prophecy is a warning, there will be comforting solution provided in the vision.

“But he who prophesies speaks to men for their edification, exhortation, and consolation.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭14:3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Under the Old Covenant, prophets often prophesied judgment, and the false prophets back then preached comfort. However, under the New Covenant, prophets who prophesy judgment are the false prophets. After the cross, God is giving prophecies to comfort His people now.

Isaiah 61:2 - There is a day of vengeance coming which is the Second Coming of Christ (not the Rapture).

“to proclaim the year of Yahweh’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn;” (Isaiah‬ ‭61:2‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Luke 4:19-20 - Jesus did not quote Isaiah 61:2 fully. He stopped halfway and closed the book. In this dispensation, we are to mainly preach reconciliation, not judgment.

“and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.” (Luke‬ ‭4:19-20‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Daniel 1:17 - We can’t receive this type of knowledge and wisdom from the world. They are gifts from God.
Daniel received many interpretations of dreams and visions from God.

“Now as for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.” (Daniel‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Daniel 2:19a - Daniel received the answer he was praying for, in a vision at night.

“Then was the secret revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night.” (Daniel‬ ‭2:19‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Daniel 7:1 - Daniel received visions in his head when he was lying down on his bed.

“In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head on his bed: then he wrote the dream and told the sum of the matters.” (Daniel‬ ‭7:1‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Daniel 2:29 - Nebuchadnezzar also received his visions while lying on his bed.

“as for you, O king, your thoughts came on your bed, what should happen hereafter; and he who reveals secrets has made known to you what shall happen.” (Daniel‬ ‭2:29‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Numbers 12:6 - God communicates to prophets through visions and dreams.
Now under the New Covenant, all believers have the privilege of receiving these.

“He said, “Now hear my words. If there is a prophet among you, I, Yahweh, will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak with him in a dream.” (Numbers‬ ‭12:6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Hosea 12:10 - God multiplies visions, especially now under the New Covenant. Just like how He gave a vision to Peter about the great sheet full of animals.
This abundance of visions is contrasted with 1 Samuel 3 when there was no frequent vision.

“I have also spoken to the prophets, and I have multiplied visions; and by the ministry of the prophets I have used parables.” (Hosea‬ ‭12:10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Revelation 1:1b - God gave signs (visions) to John, enabling him to write the Book of Revelation.

“A revelation of Jesus Christ, that God gave to him, to shew to his servants what things it behoveth to come to pass quickly; and he did signify [it], having sent through his messenger to his servant John, (Revelation‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭YLT98‬‬)

Psalm 128:3-4 - When God wants you to know that you will have a good wife, He gives you a picture of a fruitful vine.
“Fruitful vine” means that she will intoxicate you with her love.
The “olive plant” is known for its longevity and usefulness (every part can be used for something). That’s how God sees your children.
To extend the lifespan of an olive tree, you can engraft olive shoots into the trunk of the old olive tree and it will renew its youth—it will keep on living.
Having children renews your youth.

“Your wife will be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of your house; your children like olive plants, around your table. Behold, thus is the man blessed who fears Yahweh.” (Psalms‬ ‭128:3-4‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 92:12-14 - Palm trees are fruitful even in old age.
“Old age” is just talking about the age, not your physical body.
God’s children can stay forever young and strong.

“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in Yahweh’s house. They will flourish in our God’s courts. They will still produce fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,” (Psalms‬ ‭92:12-14‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Isaiah 65:22 - This speaks of your career. You will enjoy the works of your hands. We will have long life.
Don’t despise hazon visions.

“They will not build, and another inhabit. They will not plant, and another eat: for the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, and my chosen will long enjoy the work of their hands.” (Isaiah‬ ‭65:22‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Jeremiah 17:8 - When looking at your wife, don’t look for faults. See what is good—that is the trait of a blessed man.
You’re a blessed person so look for the good in people, not the bad.

“For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat comes, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” (Jeremiah‬ ‭17:8‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Jeremiah 17:6a - The cursed man can’t even appreciate the good things that he has.

“For he shall be like a bush in the desert, and shall not see when good comes...” (‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17:6‬a WEB‬‬)

Psalm 91:16 - Your lifespan as a child of God is determined by your own satisfaction. If you’re not satisfied with 90 years, ask for more and God will say “go on.”
Jesus died young so that we can live long.

“I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.”” (Psalms‬ ‭91:16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 92:10-11a - When God’s anointing is upon you, you will be able to see clearly—even hazon visions.

“But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil. My eye has also seen...” (Psalms‬ ‭92:10-11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Don’t fill your heart with so much filth by watching too many worldly shows. When you go to sleep, you will see negative visions.

Genesis 3:6-7 - The devil played with Eve’s imagination—she saw an evil vision from the devil.

“When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took some of its fruit, and ate; and she gave some to her husband with her, and he ate it, too. Their eyes were opened, and they both knew that they were naked. They sewed fig leaves together, and made coverings for themselves.” (Genesis‬ ‭3:6-7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Matthew 5:28 - God counts what is in your imagination as reality.

“but I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.” (Matthew‬ ‭5:28‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 8:5-6 - Man wasn’t created naked. He was clothed with God’s glory. But man sinned and forfeited that glory that surrounded him.

“For you have made him a little lower than God, and crowned him with glory and honor. You make him ruler over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet:” (Psalms‬ ‭8:5-6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

John 17:22 - Jesus gave us the glory that Adam had forfeited.

“The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one;” (John‬ ‭17:22‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Luke 24:27 - Man was supposed to have his eyes opened by eating from the tree of life, but man chose to open his eyes by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Just as Adam and Eve walked with the Lord in the Garden of Eden, Cleopas and the other disciple (possibly Cleopas’ wife) walked with Jesus on the Road to Emmaus.
What opened Cleopas and the other disciple’s eyes? Eating the Holy Communion.
Adam and Eve ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and saw their shame, nakedness and condemnation.
Cleopas and the other disciple saw their supply from partaking of the tree of life.

“Beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself. They came near to the village, where they were going, and he acted like he would go further. They urged him, saying, “Stay with us, for it is almost evening, and the day is almost over.” He went in to stay with them. When he had sat down at the table with them, he took the bread and gave thanks. Breaking it, he gave to them. Their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished out of their sight. They said to one another, “Weren’t our hearts burning within us, while he spoke to us along the way, and while he opened the Scriptures to us?”” (Luke‬ ‭24:27-32‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Someone on the fence about receiving salvation. God has given confirmation through Pastor Prince by calling this out.

Someone who has done a MRI scan and received a diagnosis of growths in the person’s brain. The growths are being squeezed dead.

Someone whose eyes has a film over the eyes. He can see clearer now.

Chest pains are gone. The person feels strong and healed now.

The Book of Revelation Explained
