Pastor Joseph Prince shared the reason why it seems like death reigns in the lives of some believers. When we are demand-minded and under condemnation, it leads to stress and manifestations of death. God's solution is: to receive an abundance of Grace so that we are supply-minded instead!

Even nations have destinies in God.

Psalm 91:5-6 - Really meditate and believe in Psalms 91.
There’s more reports of asymptomatic (meaning no detectable symptoms) cases of COVID-19 springing up. God will even protect you from the pestilence that’s walks in darkness!

“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.” (Psalms‬ ‭91:5-6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

There was a soldier whose regiment meditated on and confessed Psalm 91 during the world war. None of the soldiers in that regiment died on the battlefield!

The Bible says that there are things you can do that shorten or lengthen your lifespan.
The worshipful fear of the Lord prolongs your life.
Honor your father and mother and you will live long on the earth.

Romans 6:23 - The moment you placed your faith in Jesus and were born-again, you stepped into eternal life. Eternal life is the quality of life which God Himself lives by.
Pastor Prince doesn’t believe in “conversion” because it implies man’s ability in doing it. No, we are born-again through the Holy Spirit.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans‬ ‭6:23‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Thessalonians 4:17 - We are looking forward to the Rapture which is imminent. We will receive immortal, glorified bodies when Jesus returns for His church.
It’s one thing to be alive because you are young, but to “remain” denotes power.
The end-time generation that will see Jesus’ return will have the power to remain alive.

“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬)

The Ten Commandments of the Law written on stones is the ministry of condemnation which produces death.

Grace is God working and supplying, whereas The Law is man working and trying to meet demands.
We are under Grace, not under the Law.

Moses’ tabernacle has three components. Outside the tabernacle, there is sunlight. This is the light that is available to the world.
In the tabernacle’s holy place, there is light from the lamp stand. This is light only available to the church.
Thirdly, there is light from the Shekinah glory in the Holy of Holies. This is where believers should step into and receive light from.

Outside the tabernacle, everything is busy. This is a picture of our body. But inside the Holy of Holies, there is perfect peace and quietness. This is a picture of our spirit.
We are Tripartite beings, made in God’s image. You are a spirit that has a soul (your mind, will and emotions) and who lives in a container called the body.
Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

The things which you can see are temporal. The things which are invisible are eternal.
If you have a tumor in your body, it’s temporal. But God’s promises of healing are eternal.

Lamentations 3:33 - Man’s thoughts towards God are rebellion and unbelief. But God’s thoughts towards man are love, compassion and mercy.

“For he does not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men.” (Lamentations‬ ‭3:33‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

When you feel tempted to focus on the huge demands on hand, switch to being supply-minded. See God's grace meeting all your needs!

Romans 10:3 - Righteousness is right standing with God and being acquitted from all guilt.
Righteousness is a gift to be received. We cannot earn our own righteousness.

“For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn’t subject themselves to the righteousness of God.” (Romans‬ ‭10:3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

After he sinned, Adam died spiritually first before dying physically.
His spirit was cut off from God first and he only died 900 over years later.

The Law was designed not to save you, but to show you that you cannot earn your own righteousness.

Romans 5:17 - We are saved by Grace and kept by Grace. We don’t go back to the Law.

“For if by the trespass of the one, death reigned through the one; so much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ.” (Romans‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The pyramid of life:
At the bottom, is plant life.
Next is animal life. They have a soul.
Then comes human life—bios life.
Finally the apex of life is eternal life, the quality of life that God enjoys.

People in Hell also live forever, but it is not eternal life because they don’t enjoy the quality of life that God has.

2 Corinthians 3:5-7 - The ministry of condemnation is the Ten Commandments which were carved in letters on stone.
Condemnation kills, but the Spirit gives life.
The Law had glory but the glory that comes from the Law fades away.
The shining glory on Moses’ face faded away over time. It wasn’t an ever-increasing splendor.
When God gave the Law on Mount Sinai, 3000 people died at the foot of the mountain. When God send the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, 3000 people were saved. The letter kills, while the Spirit gives life.

“Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses’ face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end,” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:5-7‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

The Law demands, but Grace supplies. The Law says, “You shall not...” whereas Grace says, “I (God) will...”

The Law is perfect, but it cannot produce perfection in man. If it doesn’t see perfection in a man who is under the Law, it causes the curse to land upon him.

Jesus told them to remove the stone before He raised Lazarus from the dead.
The people around Him said, “He has been dead for four days. By this time there is a stench.”
The stone represents “the Ten Commandments”.
It all depends whether you’re removing the stone from stinking flesh (unbelievers) or a resurrected being (born-again believers).
Lazarus was a resurrected being, just like we are.
Removing the Law from our lives, doesn’t produce lawlessness. It produces life.

Galatians 3:8-10 - We are justified by faith—that’s how we received right standing with God.
The New Testament way of being blessed is to have faith in Jesus Christ.
Abraham wasn’t a perfect man but he was of faith.
People who place themselves under the Law come under the curse of the Law.

“The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you all the nations will be blessed.” So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham. For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.”” (Galatians‬ ‭3:8-10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Galatians 1:6-9 - Anything that is not the Grace of Christ is a different Gospel.
The Gospel of Christ is the Gospel of the Grace of Christ.
Anyone who preaches any other gospel than the Gospel of the Grace of Christ has a double curse resting upon him.

“I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”; and there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the Good News of Christ. But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed. As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, let him be cursed.” (Galatians‬ ‭1:6-9‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Jeremiah 17:5-8 - People who are always murmuring are living a cursed lifestyle. Such people are always able to find a problem to the solution.

“Yahweh says: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Yahweh. For he shall be like a bush in the desert, and shall not see when good comes, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, a salt land and not inhabited. “Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose confidence is in Yahweh. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and shall not fear when heat comes, but its leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” (Jeremiah‬ ‭17:5-8‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Romans 6:14 - Sin here is a noun. Sickness and death came in because of sin. Sickness and death won’t have any dominion over you because you are under Grace.
Check whether you’re under Law or under Grace in your mind.
Are you demand-minded or supply-mindset?
If you’re demand-minded, you’ll become stressed.
Focus on how God has already foreseen this circumstance you’re facing and already prepared the solution. Switch back to being supply-minded.
See God always providing for you, and working in, with and through you.
After Jesus miraculously multiplied the fishes and loaves, the multitudes were satisfied and there were still twelve basketfuls of food leftover. God’s supply is more than the demand.

“For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace.” (Romans‬ ‭6:14‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Doubt your doubts and trust God’s word instead.

If you’re a parent, be led by the peace of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes you feel the peace when you don’t rebuke, but at other times you feel at peace when you correct your child. Be led by the Holy Spirit on how to discipline your child.
