Pastor Joseph Prince’s new book “Eat Your Way to Life and Health” is not written to sell as many books as possible because it doesn’t appeal to the world.
Holy communion is an isolated topic. It is for Christians, and narrowing further, Christians who believe in the healing power of communion.
Pastor Prince really wants to get the revelation about holy communion out to believers everywhere.

Colossians‬ ‭1:17‬ - The world is antichrist—it is against Jesus. The world isn’t antigod.
We need to bring Jesus back to the center.
Jesus holds all things together.

“He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.” ‭‭(Colossians‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Psalm 78:24-25 - The words “bread of angels” is not translated well. It should be “food of the mighty” like in Young’s Living Translation.

“He rained down manna on them to eat, and gave them food from the sky. Man ate the bread of angels. He sent them food to the full.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭78:24-25‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

“Food of the mighty hath each eaten, Venison He sent to them to satiety.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭78:25‬ ‭YLT1898‬‬)

Numbers‬ ‭11:9‬ - The manna never fell on the ground—it fell on the dew. Dew is a picture of God’s favor.
On Christmas night, the true manna from Heaven descended to earth.
Whoever eats of the true living bread from Heaven will never die.
Every time you partake of Jesus’ body and blood through the holy communion, you get a fresh infusion of God’s life.
If man didn’t sin, man would still be enjoying God’s fellowship and all the pleasures of the Garden of Eden.
Man’s fall and death in the world came because of one simple act of eating.
We caneat our way out of death and the curse on the world through partaking of holy communion.

“When the dew fell on the camp in the night, the manna fell on it.” ‭‭(Numbers‬ ‭11:9‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The early church broke bread from house to house.
They were not satisfied with just partaking once a day.
God’s love language is we receive communion.
Jesus said to partake of holy communion in remembrance of Him.
If you love Him, you would do it without complaining.

Every Sunday, the early church set aside an amount that they could afford as much as the Lord prospered them.
We acknowledge Jesus as the source of our provision when we tithe.

Manna means “What is it?”
The children of Israel didn’t know what the manna meant.
It’s actually a picture of Jesus.

Every time you partake of Jesus’ body and blood through the holy communion, you get a fresh infusion of God’s life. Man’s fall and death in the world came because of one simple act of eating. Likewise, you can eat your way to life and health through partaking of holy communion.

Feed on Jesus and you will live

Numbers 11:5-6 - For dating couples, sometimes a disappointment in the relationship is a divine appointment.
If you’re not released from that relationship, you’ll never find the one that is right for you.
A person can get so bound in whatever addictions or bondages that he/she gets used to the darkness.
Light might hurt before you get accustomed to it, but it’s much better than darkness.
There are exactly six types of food in the passage below—the number of man.
When you eat these types of food, everyone will know that you ate them—they make your breath stink.
The bad news in the world are unnecessary. Don’t feed on them. Feed on Jesus in God’s word.
All these foods are food of the ground that are back-breaking and difficult to pick.
However the food of the Promised Land are easy to pick—they are high.
A mature wheat of grain bows low, whereas a young grain stands up straight. A spiritually-mature believer is humble and teachable.
When you see Jesus, you are transformed. We can’t get tired of hearing about Him because it’s all about Him.
At the end of this chapter, the children of Israel who craved for food other than manna dropped dead in the wilderness—the place of their death became a grave for their sinful cravings.

“We remember the fish, which we ate in Egypt for nothing; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic; but now we have lost our appetite. There is nothing at all except this manna to look at.”” ‭‭(Numbers‬ ‭11:5-6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Numbers 21:8-9 - The brass serpent on the pole represents Jesus on the cross. This is a picture of healing. Look unto Jesus and you will live.

“Yahweh said to Moses, “Make a venomous snake, and set it on a pole. It shall happen, that everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.” Moses made a serpent of brass, and set it on the pole. If a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked at the serpent of brass, he lived.” ‭‭(Numbers‬ ‭21:8-9‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Numbers 21:5-6 - The children of Israel were allowed to be bitten as an example for us to learn from their mistakes.
Had the children of Israel kept eating of the manna without complaining, they would always be healthy without being bitten by the fiery serpents.
Regardless of what sickness you are experiencing, Jesus is the answer.
Don’t look to the leeks, garlics and onions—feed on manna.
The children of Israel called the manna “light”.
In Hebrew, “light” is qalal which means to make light of something. To do that is to curse something.
Conversely, kavod means to make weighty. This means to bless or give glory to.
Grace exceeds the Law. You can be not committing adultery and yet not love your wife.
Grace causes moral excellence—it makes you not commit adultery and love your wife.
Eating food is okay, but God wants you to feed on the right food.

“The people spoke against God, and against Moses, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, and there is no water; and our soul loathes this light bread.” Yahweh sent venomous snakes among the people, and they bit the people. Many people of Israel died.” ‭‭(Numbers‬ ‭21:5-6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Deuteronomy 25:4 - Bosses should be kind to their employees.
Is it oxen that the God of the universe is concerned about?

“You shall not muzzle the ox when he treads out the grain.” ‭‭(Deuteronomy‬ ‭25:4‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Corinthians 9:9-11 - When reading the Bible, find Jesus in it and know that the word is for your profit.
Be kind and generous to those who are ministering the word of God.
Giving $100 to get $10000 and giving $1000 to get $100000 is nonsense.
However, it is true that God wants us to prosper in all things.
God will prosper you to become a blessing to many.
Fame and fortune doesn’t satisfy. Only Jesus does.
If God gives you influence, a platform and popularity, it’s so that more people can be impacted by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
There’s no telling how far your career can go if your objective is to glorify Jesus.

“For it is written in the law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain.” Is it for the oxen that God cares, or does he say it assuredly for our sake? Yes, it was written for our sake, because he who plows ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should partake of his hope. If we sowed to you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we reap your fleshly things?” ‭‭(1 Corinthians‬ ‭9:9-11‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

1 Timothy 5:17 - Be a blessing to your pastor. Pastors are like oxen going round and round God’s word to harvest revelations for you.

“Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and in teaching. For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain.” And, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.”” (1 Timothy‬ ‭5:17-18‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Feed on Jesus' love for you—keep the revelation fresh

Leviticus 7:30-31 - Leviticus in Hebrew means to “draw near”. Shelemim is peace in plural which is a “peaces offering”. It gives you peace in all areas of your life.
The fat is the best part and is offered on the altar.
The breast, the second-best part, is given to the high priest (Jesus) and his sons (that’s us).
If you keep on reading this chapter, the leg of the animal is also roasted. That’s the strength of the animal—it represents Jesus’ strength.
Jesus’ food (the breast) is to love you—He enjoys loving you.
All the pain and suffering at the cross was nothing compared to the joy set before Him which is the freedom to love you.

“With his own hands he shall bring the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. He shall bring the fat with the breast, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before Yahweh. The priest shall burn the fat on the altar, but the breast shall be Aaron’s and his sons’.” ‭‭(Leviticus‬ ‭7:30-31‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

When you partake of holy communion, don’t see it as a legalistic ritual that you do.
It’s something that you receive from Jesus.
See Jesus coming to you with the bread and wine every time you partake.
Jesus’ body was broken “for you”. See it in a personal way.
Holy communion is not magic. It is a relationship moment—to be reminded of Jesus’ love for you and that by Jesus’ stripes, you are healed and made whole.

Psalms‬ ‭105:37-38‬ - The first time the children of Israel partook of the roasted lamb on the night of Passover, they left Egypt the next day with none weak or feeble.

“He brought them out with silver and gold. There was not one feeble person among his tribes. Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them had fallen on them.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭105:37-38‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Faith is the currency of Heaven. When you show God faith, He will show you the supply.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.

Pastor Prince ministered in gifts of healings and words of knowledge. Nodules in throat were dissolved and pain on the right back near the buttock was healed.

Leviticus 7:15 - Feed on the love of Jesus.
The offering had to be eaten on the same day that it was offered.
Partake of the holy communion with the sense that Jesus just freshly died for you.
Keep a fresh revelation of the communion when you partake.

“The flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten on the day of his offering. He shall not leave any of it until the morning.” ‭‭(Leviticus‬ ‭7:15‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Leviticus 7:18 - When you feed on Jesus’ love, something is imputed to you.
Keep close to the freshness of the sacrifice. Retain the fresh sense of Jesus’ death for you.
Jesus rose from the dead on a Sunday (the first day of the week in the Hebrew calendar).
Jesus appeared to His disciples on a Sunday, the next Sunday and another Sunday.
There is a special thing about disciples gathering in Jesus’ name on a Sunday.
Jesus is God. Thomas said “My Lord and my God” and Jesus did not rebuke him.

“If any of the meat of the sacrifice of his peace offerings is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted, and it shall not be credited to him who offers it. It will be an abomination, and the soul who eats any of it will bear his iniquity.” ‭‭(Leviticus‬ ‭7:18‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Acts 20:7 - The early church came together not to hear Paul but to break bread. They had a revelation of the importance of holy communion.

“On the first day of the week, when the disciples were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and continued his speech until midnight.” ‭‭(Acts‬ ‭20:7‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Your homework for the week: Don’t feed on the bad news of the world. Feed on the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ.
