Praise and Worship songs performed:
(I missed out some songs before this)
  1. I Will Come and Bow Down - Martin J. Nystrom
  2. As the Deer - Maranatha! Music
  3. Times of Refreshing - Martin J. Nystrom

In God’s kingdom there is no time.
He can accelerate your growth, He can give you a miracle such that you get what you need faster than it would happen in the natural.

In the midst of your sin, confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ. God calls those things that are not as though they are.

Abram wanted children but he and his wife were barren.
God changed Abram’s name to Abraham which means “Father of Multitudes” so every time he introduced himself, he was calling the things that were not as though they were.

Right believing will lead to right living. Jesus said by their fruits you will know them.

People can’t break addictions by themselves. It takes Jesus. Not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit.

Not all things in our lives are good. Sometimes they are from the devil, sometimes they are problems of our own making.
But God will work all these things together for our good.

Jesus was never sick. Jesus never lacked financial provision. He is truly prosperous - There was always supply when He had a need.

Jesus became poor at the cross. He was destitute of every material good there. He became poor so that we could become rich.

There is still sin in us, but not on us. God does not see our sins on us - they were already punished in the body of Jesus at the cross!

Isaiah 53:5 - The word “bruised” in Hebrew means “crushed”. The word “chastisement” in Hebrew means “punishment”.

“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5 NKJV)

Sometimes you confess favor but still experience a trial. God allows people to ride over our heads to discipline us. We will come out into a wealthy place. We will not leave the trial the same way we came in.

God's discipline is not His judgment - it is for your good

John 5:24 - If you are a believer who is going through a trial now, be assured that God is not punishing you for something you did in the past.
There is no judgment in your future, child of God!
You died when Christ died, you were seated in heavenly places when Christ was seated in heavenly places.
In John 10, Jesus said that believers will never perish.
The word “never” in the Hebrew is a strong double negative “umei”.
Never allow obscure passages in the Bible to rob you of the joy of sure passages. You cannot lose your salvation.
The scriptures don’t contradict each other.
If it seems like it’s saying that a believer can lose his salvation, most likely you have not received the correct interpretation of it yet.

““Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” (John 5:24 NKJV)

Proverbs 13:24 - God disciplines you because He loves you. Don’t discipline your child when he or she is tired or hungry.
But they are never too young to be disciplined.
If you don’t use the rod you are hating your child (little children).
For older children you can discipline with words and withdrawal of privileges.
As long as they need your money, you can discipline them.
When children are disciplined they feel loved - they want to feel like their parents care about them.
Don’t slap your child on the face. That’s robbing them of dignity.
The rod is for the backside.
Discipline your child fast when he or she makes the mistake. The word "promptly" in the Hebrew means in the morning.
Give 3 warnings and then discipline. Your child needs to know that you mean what you say.
God encourages us to discipline our children when they show constant and repeated rebellion.

“He who spares his rod hates his son, But he who loves him disciplines him promptly.” (Proverbs 13:24 NKJV)

Proverbs 13:18 - Those who don’t receive correction are limited in their promotions by God.
God wants to take them to a higher place but they are closed to correction.
God doesn’t discipline you with diseases or accidents. Jesus bore our sicknesses.
He was made poor so that we would be made rich.
What He bore we don’t have to bear.
You ought to feel loved when God disciplines you.
He doesn’t discipline people who are not His children.
God can use people and circumstances to discipline us.
The primary way which we disciplines us is through His word.
He disciplines us because He loves us and wants us to have a good future.
It’s better to go through the school of the Holy Spirit than the school of hard knocks.
King Solomon has tried every worldly pleasure and his conclusion is that everything is vanity of vanities.
The only that matters is your relationship with God.
The word discipline in Greek is “padeo” which means “child train”.
Backslidden Christians don’t lose their salvation but they lose out on their eternal rewards.
They are not reading their Bibles, so God disciplines such Christians through circumstances to frustrate them, to lead them back to the right path.
A mother eagle encourages her young to leave the nest by removing the comforts of the nest and by pushing them out of the nest.
When they are about to hit the ground, the mother eagle catches them. All this while, the mother eagle is thinking about their good.
One day, the young eagle realizes that it can fly and soar, experiencing a greater freedom than before.

“Poverty and shame will come to him who disdains correction, But he who regards a rebuke will be honored.” (Proverbs 13:18 NKJV)

There’s no such thing as freethinkers. They are not free to think - they are controlled by evil thoughts.
Those who have the Son are free indeed.

Freedom within confines is good. The rules are what makes a game fun.

Those who practice promiscuous sex are not really happy. Studies show that Christian married couples have the best sex.

Hebrews 12:7-11 - God’s chastening will cause you to live and not die.
God ordained policemen. They are not a terror to good works, only to evil works.
God’s discipline is for our profit, not for His profit.
We will learn how to partake of His holiness - Jesus is our holiness. Not earn our own holiness.
God doesn’t discipline you with death - there is an “afterward” for you after discipline.
Jesus took our punishment, but we can still receive God’s discipline.

“If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” (Hebrews 12:7-11 NKJV)

The Four Expanses of the Heavens Revealed written by Milton Goh

When the devil attacks you, you will emerge into a wealthier place after the trial

Psalms 60:8 - God used Moab to discipline Israel.
Sometimes God makes us see the error of our ways by showing us other people who are like us.
Jacob deceived his father by pretending to be Esau.
Later on his children deceived him that Joseph was dead.
Jacob’s name means “deceiver”. Jacob met a greater deceiver than him - his father-in-law Laban.
Laban gave his older daughter Leah (who had weak eyes) to him in marriage instead of Rachel whom Jacob loved.

“Moab is My washpot; Over Edom I will cast My shoe; Philistia, shout in triumph because of Me.”” (Psalms 60:8 NKJV)

Psalm 66:12 - Sometimes you confess favor but still experience a trial.
God allows people to ride over our heads to discipline us.
We will come out into a wealthy place. We will not leave the trial the same way we came in.
The words “wealthy place” in Hebrew is “revayah”.

“Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.” (Psalms 66:12 KJV)

Psalm 23:5 - The words “runs over” is also “revayah”.

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.” (Psalms 23:5 NKJV)

Evil spirits and witchcraft are real, but God’s victory at the cross is even more real.
Black magic cannot be cast on a Christian.
The blood of Christ covers and protects us.

Deuteronomy 28:6-7 - We are blessed everywhere we go because God's blessing is upon us!
Because you are blessed, you will be attacked.
Face your troubles. You will see their defeat.
Your enemies come against you united at first, but they will flee before you scattered perfectly (7 is the number of perfection).
It is much better for the devil not to attack you -
If you respond correctly to the attack, you will gain more territories and the enemy will have to give up more.

““Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. “The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.” (Deuteronomy 28:6-7 NKJV)

I Peter 5:8-11 - As far as you are concerned, keep the devil seeking.
It is important to have correct believing so that the devil cannot devour you.
The devil cannot tempt you beyond what is experienced by all your brotherhood in all the world.
God may allow you to be tempted but He doesn’t sanction it.
After you have suffered the devil’s attack, get ready for the perfecting, establishing, strengthening and settling!

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (I Peter 5:8-11 NKJV)

Genesis 15:13-14 - When the children of Israel came out of Egypt after their slavery, the 3 million plus of them came out with lots of silver and gold and there were none feeble.
God gave them compensation with lots of bonuses for all the suffering they endured in Egypt.

“Then He said to Abram: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions.” (Genesis 15:13-14 NKJV)

Surround yourselves with people who can give you good counsel.
After Solomon asked God for wisdom, the next chapter is a list of his administrators who helped him in his counsel.

The first person mentioned in the list was a priest - Solomon’s pastor.
Be careful who you listen to because it has to do with your right believing.

Solomon even had a Remembrancer - someone to remind him of what God has done.
Why does he, the world’s wisest man, need a Remembrancer?
It is a sign of Solomon’s wisdom and humility.
He that walks with wise men will be wise.

Solomon asked God for a hearing heart - tantamount to asking for wisdom.
The next chapter, Solomon listened to two prostitutes.
The ability to listen is a sign that you have received wisdom.
People who seek out wise counsel have received wisdom.

Pastor Prince’s Closing Prayer:
He prayed for our protection, great favor this week and for the enduring faith to persevere through our trials. We will come out into a wealthy place!

I highly recommend purchasing Pastor Prince's sermons on his mobile app "Joseph Prince" on Apple App Store or Google Play Store even after you read these notes as I may have missed out something he shared and the overall experience is definitely different when you listen to him preaching directly!
Use these notes as a revision guide instead of solely depending on them!

These sermon notes are independently-compiled by me, and I'm just a loyal and regular attendee of the the church's Sunday services, and I feel led to take detailed personal sermon notes of Pastor Prince's anointed messages to share them with the world, which desperately needs the true word of God and the original gospel of grace.

I feel blessed to be able to attend Pastor Joseph Prince's services in person, and would like to help everyone who isn't able to attend in person, to get hold of the messages as soon as it is preached!
