4 March 2018 - Restoration for Every Regret in your Life - Pastor Joseph Prince Sermon Notes Online - New Creation Church Sermon Notes Online(Originally preached by Pastor Joseph Prince live at Lakewood Church on 28 October 2017.) God never plays catch-up. What God does is in the invisible realm and it will manifest physically. What is of the flesh manifests quickly but is not comparable to what God does. The devil always plays catch-up to what God is doing. If you can’t tell what God is doing, see what the devil is doing in your life, reverse it, and you’ll know what God is doing. Example: If you have sickness in your body, it’s because God has released health in your life. The people of the world only see what the devil is doing, but we need to see what God is doing behind the scenes. Don’t pray for God to move against what the devil is doing. We need to pray to see what God has done and declare it! Even when believers lose in the natural, they still win! For example: Believers don’t die, they fall asleep. When a believer dies, he or she steps out from the body feeling even more alive! Leviticus 6:4-6 - When God restores, it’s always better in quality and/or quantity! There are five offerings under the Old Covenant to depict the one act of Jesus’ sacrifice at the cross. This one is the fifth offering, the Trespass Offering. Trespass Offering is for what you have done, Sin Offering is for who you are: by birth, human’s nature is sin because of Adam's sin. “If you have sinned in any of these ways, you are guilty. You must give back whatever you stole, or the money you took by extortion, or the security deposit, or the lost property you found, or anything obtained by swearing falsely. You must make restitution by paying the full price plus an additional 20 percent to the person you have harmed. On the same day you must present a guilt offering. As a guilt offering to the Lord, you must bring to the priest your own ram with no defects, or you may buy one of equal value.” (Leviticus 6:4-6 NLT) When Jesus was born, midnight became midday when angels and the star lit up the night sky. When Jesus hung on the cross midday became midnight. Jesus cried out “My God, My God, Why have you forsaken Me?”. God forsook Him because at that moment, Jesus became our sin. It’s a divine exchange. Jesus received our darkness and condemnation. We received Jesus’ righteousness and blessings. Today our prayers avail much. Ours are prayers of a righteous man. |
