Bible Evidence for Pre-Tribulation Rapture

 Bible Evidence for Pre-Tribulation Rapture

There is a lot of debating going on online about the sequence of end-time events and whether the Rapture will happen before, during or after the Great Tribulation.

In case you’re unfamiliar with the terms, let me explain what is the Rapture and what is the Great Tribulation.

The name “Rapture” is not found in the Bible, but is a term coined by believers to refer to this event:

“For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we tell you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left to the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God’s trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.” (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17 WEB)

The Great Tribulation is a future period of 7 years of great suffering on earth due to the tyrannical rule of an evil global dictator called the Antichrist, and also God’s judgment and wrath being poured out into the world:

“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” (Matthew 24:21-22 NKJV)

These “elect” are not us. It’s talking about the people who become believers during the Great Tribulation. They are “elect” and not “saints” because they don’t have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside them.

The Great Tribulation is shortened to only 7 years because if it dragged on longer than that, the elect would give up and renounce their faith in desperation.

During the Great Tribulation, salvation is not "once saved always saved". Only those who endure in their faith in Jesus to the end without taking the Mark of the Beast will be saved.

The Great Tribulation is a future period of 7 years of great suffering on earth due to the tyrannical rule of an evil global dictator called the Antichrist, and also God’s judgment and wrath being poured out into the world.

Sandcastles Don't Last Forever

$7.99

This is the eBook version.

If you prefer to get the Paperback version (physical copy), you can get it on Amazon here for US$15.

About the Book:

One day when I was singing praises to God, an image floated up in my spirit: a big and beautiful sandcastle being washed away by the waves from the sea. God was teaching me the futility of holding tightly onto worldly possessions because like the sandcastle, they won't last, and one day will cease to exist.

He taught me from His word to focus on Him and by doing so, I would reap great eternal rewards before Jesus' throne at the start of the Millennium. These rewards will last forever and can't be destroyed or stolen.

It is my prayer that the revelations in this book will help you to live with a focus on the things above where God is, fulfill your God-given calling in life, be happier and to accumulate more eternal rewards to your account.

In this Book, you will learn about:

- Heavenly investment advice and the futility of worldly pursuits from a trillionaire in the Bible

- Why God has to reward us in order to be righteous

- When and how God will destroy the current earth and sky to make way for new ones

- The types of fireproof works that earn eternal rewards at the end of time

- The abundant rewards of doing good works while abiding by the non-disclosure agreement between God and you

- The difference between the temporary places of torment: Sheol and Abaddon

- Who is the Antichrist and his name revealed in the Bible

- What is the Mark of the Beast and why it disqualifies its recipients from receiving salvation

- The different judgments at the throne of Jesus Christ and what it means for you as a believer

- How to fulfill your calling and maximize your gifts to receive the best eternal rewards

Testimonials about the contents of this book:

"Sandcastles Don't Last Forever is very well written, its message loud and clear. Milton Goh gives common-sense insight on often confusing Scripture, which is much appreciated in these troubled times. My understanding of the Bible has definitely improved."

- Mike Garrett, first Editor/ Publisher for Stephen King and Author of Christian Novel "Innocence Denied", from USA

"This book is absolutely breathtaking. We don't work to be saved but were created to do good works. I am so energized and excited to know God values our works and we will be rewarded. This is all Glory to Jesus... I cant wait to throw my crowns at his feet and thank him for saving my life!" - Evangelist Michael Clark from USA

"Dear Milton Goh, I truly thank our Abba, Father for the revelations in this book. It is so amazing how I begin to discover important verses in the Bible that I have never read. That instead of following riches, with sleepless nights, and actually shortening our lives, we are just to 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ', and 'Love one another'. How beautiful to find out that actually in the Bible there is both 'Earthly or Worldly Investment Wisdom' and 'Eternal Investment Wisdom' according to the revelations here from Ecclesiastes 5:14-17 WEB)!; “It seems like Solomon was not only wise at earning material riches but also at earning eternal riches.” All the glory to our Lord Jesus Christ! God bless you Milton Goh for such a wonderful book!" - Nitta Nierra from Belgium

“Thank you Milton. I have just finished reading “Sandcastles Don’t Last Forever”. It’s such a good book that's filled with God's word. I love it very much. Might read again if I have the time. Thanks so much!” - Mally Chai from Singapore

"I'm reading this book and loving it! The revelations of the Gospel truth shared and it's life applications are absolutely amazing! I give glory to the Lord Jesus for my dear brother Milton for this exceptional resource. I'm gonna keep feeding on its contents and believe God for supernatural breakthroughs as my mind is renewed in Christ!" - Terence from Tombel, Cameroon

“Excellent book!! I enjoyed reading it so much and definitely recommend it! Milton is so gifted and all his teachings have blessed me tremendously! I thank God for people like him. Get this book, it will be worth it!” - Madeleine from SA, “Unmerited Favor” tier patron

"Milton Goh my brother, your insight on Grace has set me free from 20 yrs of addiction. I was a 7 time felon but by the GRACE of God I am now an ordained minister. Here is some of my story: I was saved in Dec 2016 and started evangelizing in July of 2017 as soon as I was released. My ministry has led over 800 to Jesus. I go to jails, rehabs, homeless shelters plus numerous churches! Your notes and sermons allowed me to find rest in Jesus. I was getting tired trying to perform what I thought God needed from me. You have made me realize it's 100% the CROSS and now I go constantly for Jesus but never get tired. Thanks for your wisdom and love for Jesus. May God bless you and your family!"

Some people believe that the following passage shows that the Rapture will happen after the Great Tribulation:

“Now in regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to meet Him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, not to be quickly unsettled or alarmed either by a [so-called prophetic revelation of a] spirit or a message or a letter [alleged to be] from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has [already] come. Let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed], who opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God.” (2 THESSALONIANS 2:1-4 AMP)

"The coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to meet Him" is definitely referring to the Rapture.

However those who believe in a post-Tribulation (Post Trib) Rapture mistakenly think that the “Day of the Lord” mentioned in the passage is also talking about the Rapture.

No that’s not what the “Day of the Lord” is. That day is described in the Old Testament:

“Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst. For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south. Then you shall flee through My mountain valley, For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee As you fled from the earthquake In the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus the LORD my God will come, And all the saints with You. It shall come to pass in that day That there will be no light; The lights will diminish. It shall be one day Which is known to the LORD — Neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen That it will be light. And in that day it shall be That living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea And half of them toward the western sea; In both summer and winter it shall occur. And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be— “The LORD is one,” And His name one.” (Zechariah 14:1-9 NKJV)

The Day of the Lord is not the Rapture, but it is the “Second Coming of Jesus Christ” (Second Coming).
On that day, AFTER the Great Tribulation, He will return not to gather His saints to Himself but to come back WITH His saints to destroy the Antichrist and establish His Millennial kingdom on earth.

So back to 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4, let’s use an analogy to explain what it means.

Let’s say you’re watching a musical. There are different “Acts” to represent different segments of the show.
Let’s say that the Rapture is Act 1, the Great Tribulation is Act 2, and the Day of the Lord (Second Coming) is Act 3.

So the passage is saying that regarding Act 1, people are saying that Act 3 had already come, so it’s understood that they were suggesting that Act 1 had already passed.
Then it goes on to say that Act 3 will not happen until Act 2 happens.
I hope that makes sense!

Another passage that people who believe in a Post-Trib Rapture like to quote is this one:

““Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” (Matthew 24:29-31 NKJV)

They will say “See? It’s after the Tribulation that the angels will gather the elect from one end of heaven to the other.”

Yes, but this gathering of the elect is not gathering for the Rapture, but gathering to Jerusalem so as to establish Jesus’ Millennial kingdom on earth.
You see, Jesus won’t expect the believers at that time to book plane tickets to fly in batches to Jerusalem — no, the angels will transport them all to Jerusalem!

“Because you kept my command to endure, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, which is to come on the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” (Revelation 3:10 WEB)

In the Book of Revelation, the verse above are Jesus’ words to the church as written through the apostle John.
As you can see, Pre-Trib believers will be kept from the “hour of testing” which is the Great Tribulation.

God’s word says the following:

“Also to punish the righteous is not good, nor to flog officials for their integrity.” (Proverbs 17:26 WEB)

We who believe in Jesus are righteous in God’s eyes. By faith, we have been clothed with Jesus’ own righteousness.
God is not going to punish the righteous together with the wicked.

Even back in the days of Lot, Lot and his family were removed from Sodom before God rained fire and brimstone upon the city.

Noah and his family were also hidden safely in the Ark before God sent the Flood by opening the windows of heaven and the fountains of the deep.

When the children of Israel were in Egypt, God made a difference between the children of Israel and the Egyptians.
He poured out His plagues upon the Egyptians but the children of Israel were protected from the plagues.

There is Someone restraining the Great Tribulation from happening right now:

“Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season. For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way. Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will kill with the breath of his mouth, and destroy by the manifestation of his coming;” (2 Thessalonians 2:6-8 WEB)

This Someone is the Holy Spirit who is dwelling inside every believer on earth. He is the One restraining the evil that is already at work in this world.
When the Rapture happens, the Holy Spirit will leave the earth together with all of us who believe.

Once the Holy Spirit is gone from the earth, the Great Tribulation will finally begin, and the Antichrist will be revealed.

So as you can see, the Rapture will happen before the Great Tribulation. Rejoice because you and I who believe in Jesus will not be going through the Tribulation!

Hi Milton, we have communicate through email before (I bought one of your books).

A few questions:
Where in the Bible does it say,
- Tribulation is a 7-Year period?
- "elect" is referring to "Tribulation-believers" and not all believers?
- "Tribulation-believers" is not once-saved-always-saved?
- the Holy Spirit will leave earth together with those who are raptured (assuming a Pre-Trib rapture)?
- why gathering of the elect means they must travel by physical means to Jerusalem?

Hi Axl, nice to discuss with you again! Hope you’ve been well.

1. “Then after the sixty-two weeks [of years] the Anointed One will be cut off [and denied His Messianic kingdom] and have nothing [and no one to defend Him], and the people of the [other] prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined. And he will enter into a binding and irrevocable covenant with the many for one week (seven years), but in the middle of the week he will stop the sacrifice and grain offering [for the remaining three and one-half years]; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until the complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who causes the horror.”” ‭‭(DANIEL‬ ‭9:26-27‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

2. “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” (Matthew 24:21-22 NKJV)

Yes, if you see the context, “the elect” here is referring to those Tribulation believers who are going through the Great Tribulation.

3. You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end, the same will be saved.” (Mark‬ ‭13:9-13 WEB)

For Tribulation believers, they don’t receive salvation upon believing in Jesus — only when they die or if they survive until the end of the Great Tribulation without receiving the Mark of the Beast.

“then the lord of that servant will come in a day when he isn’t expecting him, and in an hour that he doesn’t know, and will cut him in two, and place his portion with the unfaithful. That servant, who knew his lord’s will, and didn’t prepare, nor do what he wanted, will be beaten with many stripes, but he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. To whomever much is given, of him will much be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked.” ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭12:46-48‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The servant who knew his Lord’s will represents a Tribulation believer who had a revelation about Jesus and yet received the Mark of the Beast.
Such a person during the Tribulation will not be saved, because salvation is only for those who endure to the end: 1) die as a believer, or 2) is still a believer when the Great Tribulation ends, without accepting the Mark of the Beast.

4. “Because you kept my command to endure, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, which is to come on the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” (Revelation 3:10 WEB)

Yes we will be caught away to be with Jesus when the Rapture happens, before the Great Tribulation begins.

The “hour of testing” refers to the Great Tribulation, which unbelievers will be left behind on earth to go through.

When we first believe in Jesus, the Holy Spirit joins with our human spirit in our body, becoming one.

“But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.” (1 Corinthians 6:17 WEB)

When all believers are simultaneously caught away at the Rapture, the Holy Spirit’s presence will be taken away from earth, into Heaven — thus He who “restrains” will be taken away.

Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.

The Antichrist will be publicly revealed to the world after the church and the Holy Spirit are we physically removed from the earth, and the Great Tribulation will begin.

5. “”Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

At the end of the Great Tribulation, the Tribulation believers will be carried by God’s angels to Jerusalem, in preparation for the beginning of the Millennium.

(Continued from previous comment because exceeded the word limit..)

All saints will receive their eternal rewards before Jesus’ throne there, and receive their positions and responsibilities for the Millennial Reign of Christ.

“and you will be blessed, because they don’t have the resources to repay you. For you will be repaid in the resurrection of the righteous.”” (Luke‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

“I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as didn’t worship the beast nor his image, and didn’t receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead didn’t live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.” ‭‭(Revelation‬ ‭20:4-6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The redeemed saints will rule with Jesus on earth in the Millennium.

I hope the above answers your questions!

1. Exactly. It says the Antichrist makes a covenant at the beginning of the week, but will only stop sacrifice and set up the abomination of desolation in the MIDDLE of the week -- 3.5 years. Dan 7:25 says the saints will be given into his for a time, times, half a time -- which is 3.5 years too. Dan 12:11 also mentioned 1290 days, which is also 3.5 years using Jewish year. So where is the "7 Years" of suffering?

2. But you are just repeating yourself here. And you are reading the Pre-Trib idea into the passage instead drawing it out. Why can't it mean that believers (aka elect) will NOT be raptured before Tribulation and thus they are still around during the period?

3. If there are no so-called "Tribulation Believers", then this point doesn't stand.

4. Firstly,, "keep you from the hour of testing" does not have to mean raptured.

And didn't you sort of contradicted yourself in an earlier point when you said only "Tribulation Believers" need to endure till the end, but here in Rev 3, it says these people have kept the command to "endure", and they are supposed to be the Pre-Trib Believers? So which is which? Do we need to endure or not?

And just asserting we will be raptured before Tribulation doesn't really help. The verses you provide does not say that.

5. Ok. I misread your post for this one. My bad.

Hi Axl, blessed weekend!

1. I believe that in the period right before the Antichrist makes a covenant at the start of the week, God would have poured out some of His judgments on the world, namely, the seven trumpets.

“The seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.” ‭‭(Revelation‬ ‭8:6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

These horrible judgments happening on earth will cause panic and chaos among the people.
At this point of time, the Antichrist will appear as a good guy, who steps up to unite the remaining world and to rebuild from the ashes.

So the 3.5 years before he stops the temple sacrifices is when he acts like a good guy, garnering public support and setting up the infrastructure for his cruel reign in the second half of 3.5 years.

In the latter half, he will show his true colors by turning his back on Israel and severely persecuting Tribulation believers and Jews.

1. “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could count, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. They cried with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before his throne, and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever! Amen.” One of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are arrayed in the white robes, who are they, and from where did they come?” I told him, “My lord, you know.” He said to me, “These are those who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb’s blood. Therefore they are before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them. They will never be hungry, neither thirsty any more; neither will the sun beat on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”” ‭‭(Revelation‬ ‭7:9-17‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Take note that the believers are shown here to be Rapture-d and already in Heaven before the seven trumpets begin.

3. I stand by the pre-Trib Rapture.

4. The context of the verse is that Jesus was speaking to one of the seven churches of Asia Minor — the church of Philadelphia (early church). Clearly He is speaking to that generation and making the promise to them, and not to the Tribulation believers.

Hi Milton,

1. If you say that the Antichrist will appear at the END of the 7 trumpets "as a good guy", wouldn't you be placing the trumpet judgements BEFORE the 7th Week? How would that help to explain the 7-Year period? And notice that at the 7th Trumpet, the Kingdom is proclaimed (Rev 11:15-19). It doesn't fit the description at all. (But note that those Rapture Passages in 1 Cor 15/ 1 These 4 all speak of a "last trumpet". So where does a last trumpet come from?)

And you said, the 7-Year Tribulation is "due to the tyrannical rule of an evil global dictator called the Antichrist", but if he is acting as a good guy in the first 3.5 years, how's that counted into a period of "Tribulation" at all? But 3.5 years IS explicitly mentioned in the Bible.

2. Actually, I would say they are the slain martyrs mentioned in Rev 6:9. The white robes were given to them.

Again, one must read Pre-Trib ideas INTO the verses to make the great multitude "Raptured Believers". There is very little support in the passage that says that. In any case, they are the ones who "come out" of the great tribulation and not before. (Granted that one can make a case for saying it means Pre-Trib, but that will be ignoring many other verses that clearly says otherwise).

3/4. The title of this post is Evidence FOR Pre-Trib Rapture, but nothing you have cited are actually "evidence for". Most of the time, you just assumed Pre-Trib is correct and read it back into the verses when they say nothing about Pre-Trib at all. Isn't that circular reasoning? (On the other hand, there are so many verses that support a Post-Trib.)

That's not exactly exegesis, isn't it?

Hi Axl, blessed Sunday!

I didn’t say that the 7 years begins at the end of the seven trumpets.
What I said was that God would have poured out some of His judgments (in other words, some of the trumpet judgments).

The Great Tribulation isn’t just the Antichrist’s tyranny but also a time where God pours out judgment on the unbelieving world.

After the seven trumpets are the seven bowls of God’s wrath.

I believe that the Antichrist making the covenant will happen some time in between the seven trumpet judgments.

I believe there has to be a major triggering event (some of God’s trumpet judgments) before the world will accept him as a world ruler.

They will probably look to him for leadership in those chaotic times, and he will promise them solutions. The covenant he makes is probably his proposed solutions (which are actually for carrying out his evil plans).

The “last trumpet” could refer to the feast of trumpets celebrated by Israel. The Rapture could coincide with the final trumpet sound blown on that day.

Jesus’ words for “no man knows the day or hour except My Father in Heaven” is referring to His Second Coming. Not the Rapture.

Hi Milton,

Sure. Fair enough. One can have an opinion on how the events unfold, especially on the controversial subject like End Times. But it must have some scriptural support and not something plucked out from thin air.

So again, let me just ask my main questions.

1) By the plain reading of the text and WITHOUT reading Pre-Trib ideas into it... WHERE in Bible does it clearly says
- there are 2 classes of believers (pre-Trib believers vs Trib believers)?
- there are 2 comings of the Lord (rapture and the Second Coming)?

2) On the last trumpet

1 Cor 15:51 just talk about sounding of a last trumpet. Sure. Could be an earthly trumpet.

But...1 Thess 4:17 says the Lord will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel and trumpet of God. So clearly, it is a heavenly trumpet.

And the above are the 2 verses that everyone, including yourself, agree is about Rapture.

Then compare this to Matt 24:30-31 (which you said is a Second Coming passage) mentions the Lord coming from the cloud (heaven) and sending His angels with a " great sound of trumpet" to gather His elect.

Please don't tell me the descriptions in Matt 24 and 1 Thess 4 do not look glaringly similar.

Then look at Rev 11:15-19. The 7th trumpet (which is also the last) is sounded by an angel, followed with loud voices in heaven declaring the establishment of Jesus' Kingdom.

You still think this last trumpet is referring to the "feast of trumpets celebrated by Israel" and the Rapture "could coincide with the final trumpet sound blown on that day"?

Hi Milton. Greetings from the United States in Northern California. First I want to say thank you for all of your explanations of the Scriptures. I am wondering, when you talk about those who accept Christ after the Rapture, the Once Saved Always Saved belief does not apply. I personally believe in Eternal Security, in other words Once Saved Always Saved. I'm just wondering how does that not apply for Tribulation Saints. Thank you.

Those who place their faith in Jesus after the Rapture, during the Great Tribulation, will not have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit because He “the Restrainer” would have left the earth. Instead, salvation will be given to those who have faith in Jesus without accepting the Mark of the Beast—either until death, or until Jesus’ return at the end of the Tribulation, whichever happens first.

So during the Tribulation which is after the church age, salvation will be given to those who “endure until the end”—not at the moment of placing faith in Jesus.

Hi, Milton.

Thanks for this explanation. For me, this part seems a little bit hard to understand. How can those tribulation elect even become believers without Holy Spirit working within them?

(1 Cor 12:3) Therefore I inform you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.

And I'm wondering if you could confirm whether this is also NCC's official position on this topic. Does NCC firmly hold on pre-trib and premillennialism as the church doctrine?

I am personally blessed by many of your sermon notes in this blog. Thank you for sharing the gospel of grace :)

Wait listen my friend... First of all I've read all you've said about the pre trib rapture and stuff but the scriptural evidence you gave there does not not support that here's why
1 Where in the scripture does it ever say that the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the earth?? Where did Jesus say that??
2The scripture only talks about 2 ressurections the ressurection of the righteous 1st then the ressurection of the dead after the millennium
3 if the Holy Spirit Is taken out of the earth as you allude how will those left be saved or become believers without the Holy Spirit bcz Romans chpt8 says whoever does not have the Spirit of Christ is non of His which means he doesn't belong to Christ without the Holy Spirit... So how will they be believers or come to be part of Gods family without the Holy Spirit??
4 The Holy Spirit is not the withholder if the man of sin... There are 2 things mentioned one is time and the other one is a person which is not the holy spirit bcoz the coming of the man of sin is to establish his kingdom.. he's coming as a king Dan 7&8... So for you to understand who's withholding you've to read the book of Dan to understand how God has dealt with the rise of kingdoms way before the coming of the Spirit on earth.. you'll get who's standing in the way of this man
5 God will NEVER contradict with His word... Jesus never spoke of the rapture before the tribulation... Paul never preached that... Peter never preached that so where are you getting it from??
6The events you've outlined from Matt 24 1thess 5 2 thess 2 Rev 20 they'll speak of one single event... The 1st Ressurection and the gathering of the saints into the Lord at His 2nd coming
Please let's stick to the scriptures and not divert and coin the scripture to mean to suit what we want.. the scriptures are clear when it comes to the end times!!! Shalom 🙏

Hi Jo,

The answer is, just like how the people before the cross came to place their faith in Yahweh. The Holy Spirit works on them and His power comes upon them, but He doesn’t indwell them. There will not be any indwelling of the Holy Spirit on earth during the Tribulation.

Yes as far as I know from sermons preached by Pastor Prince, he also believes in Pre-Trib Rapture, and that there will be a literal Millennial (1000 years) Reign of Christ after the Tribulation.

Thank you Milton for clarifying this.

I've also been hearing some of the sermon excerpts from Pastor Prince regarding pre-tribulation rapture and several commentaries from other church streams. Perhaps I should listen again to bring light to my doubts.

Like some people say, the Millennium is a thousand years of peace over which Christians are willing to fight each other :)

Thank you again for sharing this topic here.

My question is this how are they going to know the gospel since you saying that all believers will be gone.. so which means there'll be no one to preach to them... As far as the scripture is concerned people come to salvation thru the preaching of the word... Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God Tom 10vs 17... It's the faith that's needed for salvation by Grace... So aren't you contradicting the scripture there??? For people to saved they need to hear the gospel and the gospel to be preached I needs a preacher??

Hi Sammy, read the Book of Revelation. The 2 witnesses, 144,000 Jewish evangelists and angels will preach the Gospel to the world during the Tribulation. Those who place their faith in Jesus during the Tribulation will not be saved until the end of the Tribulation, provided they don’t receive the mark of the beast which will disqualify them from salvation. Matthew 24 is in the context of the Tribulation. Those who have to endure to the end to be saved are the Tribulation saints.

I would really encourage you to do a deep search of the scripture my brother coz your answers there and your docrine is questionable in regards to Scriptural aunthenticity!!! And May the Lord unveil to you the realities of his Word in the Truth thereof 🙏
