Many of us are experiencing delays and disappointments.
It’s not because God doesn’t care about you.
Jesus waited before going to Lazarus. It wasn’t because Jesus didn’t care about Lazarus.
It was so that God’s glory would be revealed in a greater way through him.
God wants to reveal Himself in a greater way to you. He wants to show and give you more!
One day you will look back and say, “Praise be to His holy name, because this disappointment turned out to be for my good!”

Quarrels are a normal part of marriage. Don’t be surprised if you argue with your spouse.

Marriage is God’s idea, not man’s idea. Man’s idea is to stay together and see if you’re okay together (co-habitation) — it won’t be okay.
There’s no such things as you’ll be 100% sure — there’s always a place for faith.

True love needs a solid foundation. Every marriage needs a third party and His name is Jesus.
All things are held together by Jesus Himself.
There is a force that holds atoms together which science has no explanation for.
The Bible says that in Christ, all things are held together.

This is the church life: Jesus, the local church and Israel.
This is the tripod model that every successful church and ministry is built upon.
Some ministries have no heart for Israel. Others make it all about Israel.
On the road to Emmaus, Cleopas and the other disciple made it all about Israel — it was as if Jesus was a side-issue — just a means to an end.
No, Jesus must be at the center, and all things will be held together in Him.

Marriage is God’s idea, not man’s idea. True love needs a solid foundation. Every marriage needs a third party and His name is Jesus. All things are held together by Jesus Himself.

What is attractive in man and woman?

​In Hebrew, God’s name is Yud Hei Vav Hei which is Yahweh — that is His covenant name.

The name Yahweh was used by Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
They used that name but never had a true revelation of it until God redeemed the children of Israel from Egypt — that’s when they saw Him as the covenant-keeping God.

Revelation of God’s truths is always progressive.
We will see it clearer and brighter until the perfect day.
Don’t stay in the revelations shared by people in the past.
God is unveiling newer and fresher revelations from His word in this day and age!

The Hebrew language is read from right to left.
Every Hebrew letter is also a picture.
Yud is a hand.
Hei is a window. A window allows you to see more — Hei represents Grace.
Vav is a nail.
Hei is Grace again.
Therefore, put together, God’s name means “the hand of Grace nailed in Grace”.
God’s name is not pronounced as Jehovah. It’s closer to Yahweh.
No one is absolutely sure of the actual pronunciation.

Genesis 17:1-8 - Abram means “high/exalted father”. You can be an exalted person and yet not be happy.
God’s name has two Hei’s. He gave one Hei to Abram, making him Abraham — inputting Grace into his life.
Abraham means “father of multitudes”. From being a lone exalted father, he became a father to nations.

“When Abram was ninety-nine years old, Yahweh appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God Almighty. Walk before me, and be blameless. I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.” Abram fell on his face. God talked with him, saying, “As for me, behold, my covenant is with you. You will be the father of a multitude of nations. Your name will no more be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham; for I have made you the father of a multitude of nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you. Kings will come out of you. I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you and to your offspring after you. I will give to you, and to your offspring after you, the land where you are traveling, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. I will be their God.”” ‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭17:1-8‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Genesis 17:15-16 - Sarah was about 89 years old at this point in time — Abraham was 99 years old.
God put the other Hei into Sarai’s name, making her new name Sarah.
The 5th time Noah’s name is mentioned, it says Noah found Grace.
The 5th time Ruth’s name is mentioned, it says Ruth found Grace in Boaz’s sight.
Yud has the numerical value of 10. God took away the 10 (representing the Law), and inputted Grace into her name.
Sarai means “my lord”, whereas Sarah means “princess”.
From someone possessive, she was transformed to become regal and gracious.

“God said to Abraham, “As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but her name will be Sarah. I will bless her, and moreover I will give you a son by her. Yes, I will bless her, and she will be a mother of nations. Kings of peoples will come from her.”” ‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭17:15-16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Proverbs 19:22 - Muscles are not what makes a man attractive to a woman — that’s just a bonus.
Ultimately what God finds desirable in a man is what women will find desirable in a man.
What makes a man attractive is his kindness, which in Hebrew is Hesed: Grace.
It is the Grace of a man that makes him attractive.
The goodness of God is His extra.
God doesn’t have to make birds sing, but He made it so for our enjoyment.
God could have just made plain-looking flowers.
He didn’t need to make them fragrant and beautiful — it is His goodness, the extra for us.
Feel free to serenade your wife. Show that extra bit of goodness to her.
We aren’t made to live by our senses alone. We are to be led by the Holy Spirit.
God could have designed sex to be unpleasant.
He could have made it such that to conceive a child, Adam had to slap Eve 5 times and Eve had to slap Adam 50 times — we wouldn’t even know the difference.
God designed sex to be holy. The devil has perverted it.
A person who has experienced Grace will extend Grace.
God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
God made male, and God made female. Look at God’s original plan: Marriage is between a husband and a wife.

“That which makes a man to be desired is his kindness. A poor man is better than a liar.” ‭‭(Proverbs‬ ‭19:22‬ ‭WEB)

Genesis 2:23-24 - Men tend to be more attached to their parents, especially to their mothers.
It doesn’t mean that we don’t bless our parents anymore, but a man has to see Himself as a man (not a ‘mama’s boy’ anymore) to start his own family unit.
God’s word says that a man shall leave and cleave to his wife, and they shall be one flesh — the idea of sex.
Sex is not something to be celebrated outside of marriage.
Once you have sex, something is imparted.
Whatever was on the person you had sex with is now attached to you.
Sex is holy and powerful. It’s meant to seal the marriage covenant.
Every man thinks of sex every day. Men are wired this way.
Some people are experiencing defeat because they are having sex outside of marriage — whatever is attached to their sleeping partners come onto them.
It’s okay to be attracted to looks. Man wants beauty in a woman.
However that’s not what will hold a marriage together.
In the Hebrew, woman is “ishah”, whereas man is “ish”.
Ish is made of the Hebrew letters Aleph, Yud, and Shin.
Ishah is Aleph, Shin, and Hei.
God made woman with an extra Grace. Women sense things better than man — they are more intuitive.
All the while that Adam was in the Garden of Eden, he never thought to eat from the tree of life.
Pastor Prince believes that God created woman to point man to the tree of life.
That extra Grace that woman received is meant to be used for good.
Pastor Prince has a theory: if you want God to transform your wife in any way, go to sleep (rest), and pray for God to do what He did in the beginning.
Yud and Aleph forms "Yah" (God’s name), like in Hallelu-Yah. If you take God’s name (Yud and Aleph) out of ish and ishah, both remaining words become the Hebrew word “esh” which means fire.
A relationship and marriage burns without God in it.
The Hebrew Scriptures don’t have the word husband or wife. It’s just “man” or “woman”.
The word woman is a generic term which can refer to a virgin, a married woman, a widow, young or old.
In the Greek Scriptures, it’s the same. There’s no word for husband or wife used. It’s just “male” or “female”.
The word for female in Greek is also a generic term.
God knows the psychological make-up of man.
See your wife as your woman. See your husband as your man.
The moment someone is interested in your spouse, suddenly you get jealous and possessive about the partner you took for granted.
Adultery is evil. It costs you much more pain that you’re willing to pay.
Never say that your spouse will never commit adultery. We all need God’s Grace to keep us from adultery.
Your spouse is a candidate for adultery — knowing this makes you look at him/her the right way — the passion will come back.

“The man said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh. She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.” ‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭2:23-24‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Proverbs 19:14 - A prudent wife is from the Lord. You didn’t find her — God gave her to you.
The word prudent is “sakal” which refers to wisdom that results in good success.
Men want a wise sounding board whom they can discuss matters with.
The wiser a woman is, the more beautiful she becomes.

“House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh.” ‭‭(Proverbs‬ ‭19:14‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Joshua 1:8 - The words “good success” is “sakal” in Hebrew.

“This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.” ‭‭(Joshua‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

There is no perfect partner out there waiting for you, just a God-appointed one 

​1 Samuel 25:3 - Nabal was married to a wonderful lady called Abigail.
Abigail spoke the language that David could relate to.
She spoke of a sling, which reminded David about his victory over Goliath, and his relationship with God.
You can learn about effective communication from her speech to David which is also found in this chapter.
The word “intelligent” is sakal. Abigail had the wisdom that led to good success.
People who are attractive physically without sakal lose their attractiveness the more you get to know them — they seem like empty shells.

“Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife Abigail. This woman was intelligent and had a beautiful face; but the man was surly and evil in his doings. He was of the house of Caleb.” ‭‭(1 Samuel‬ ‭25:3‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Genesis 24:10-16 - In Hebrew, “Chatan” is groom and “Kallah” is bride.
Combine the first Hebrew letter of each word and it forms the Hebrew word “Koach” which means power.
When husband and wife are one, there is power — including power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18).
Poverty doesn’t establish God’s covenant — wealth establishes God’s covenant.
Genesis 24 is the longest chapter in the Book of Genesis.
It is about how the unnamed servant looks for a bride for his master’s son. The servant also gives gifts to the bride.
If you are single and want to find a life partner, gather at places where there is a well.
The house of God is a well — a place where people draw the waters of God’s word.
Your cell group and ministry which you serve in are also wells.
If you’re single, pray the servant’s prayer in the passage below.
The word “success” is qarah in Hebrew which means “right happenings”.
Only God can put you in a qarah moment. The word “kindness” is hesed which is Grace.
The servant was looking for a woman with prudence — she has to be willing to go the extra mile. Camels drink a lot of water at a time and would take a long time to rehydrate.
There is no perfect choice “spouse” for you out there, if not, if your spouse dies, you cannot remarry, because you can’t take another person’s perfect choice. That would be very bad wouldn’t it?
No there is no “perfect choice”. Just pray for God to give you a qarah moment with a God-appointed woman.
Don’t ask for God to give you outward signs. The devil is outside. God (the Holy Spirit) is inside you.
Pastor Prince shared about a single woman who was praying for God to show her a sign if the man she was with was the right one.
She was walking on the beach at night and saw a shooting star whiz past, and took that as a sign from God.
Her marriage with that man ended terribly. It fizzled out like a shooting star.
If your spouse has passed away, you can remarry after seeking good counsel — In a multitude of counselors with sakal, there is safety.

“The servant took ten camels, of his master’s camels, and departed, having a variety of good things of his master’s with him. He arose, and went to Mesopotamia, to the city of Nahor. He made the camels kneel down outside the city by the well of water at the time of evening, the time that women go out to draw water. He said, “Yahweh, the God of my master Abraham, please give me success today, and show kindness to my master Abraham. Behold, I am standing by the spring of water. The daughters of the men of the city are coming out to draw water. Let it happen, that the young lady to whom I will say, ‘Please let down your pitcher, that I may drink,’ and she will say, ‘Drink, and I will also give your camels a drink,’—let her be the one you have appointed for your servant Isaac. By this I will know that you have shown kindness to my master.” Before he had finished speaking, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel the son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher on her shoulder. The young lady was very beautiful to look at, a virgin. No man had known her. She went down to the spring, filled her pitcher, and came up.” ‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭24:10-16‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Don’t live your life trying to impress people on social media. Stop the comparison with others on social media.

Pastor Prince’s Closing Prayer:
Pastor Prince prayed for singles to meet a God-appointed partner for them.
He prayed for married couples to see their spouse with fresh eyes, for the passion to return and for the marriage to become enjoyable like intoxicating wine.
He prayed for couples to focus on the good in their spouses and not the bad.
He prayed for emotional soul ties to ungodly standards of the world to be severed.
That good looking actor you see in dramas is just playing a character. In real life, you don’t know how he treats a woman when the cameras are not on him. Don’t be deceived by what is fictional.
Your husband may have a potbelly and drool as he sleeps, but at least he’s drooling at home and not fooling around with some woman outside.
There’s always something good you can find in your spouse if you’re looking out for it.
Blessed is the one who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the ungodly.
He will be like a tree planted by the waters.
His leaf will not wither, and he will produce fruit in due season.
The beautiful shade of orange you see on leaves in autumn is actually a sign of leaves about to die.
Pastor Prince researched about leaves online and found out that all leaves wither.
The world doesn’t know how to reverse aging, but God promises in His word that your leaf will not wither if you love His word and meditate on it.
Your physical youth will always be in full bloom when your trust is in Him!
